A. S.I love Nandos restaurant.
Certain Chicken dishes had ran out when we got there at 7pm.
So I ordered Butterfly Chicken with 2 sides.
Couldn't fault the service at all.
Absolutely gorgeous meal too.
We had unlimited soft drinks with our meals.
D. A.Greeted with Friendly staff when we first entered. All the staff were very pleasant to speak with and couldn't be more helpful when taking our order. They were busy and the staff member explained their was a wait and would that be OK. The wait wasn't too long and when our order was ready, they brought it out. The staff member that came out with our order was cheery, Friendly and chatty.
T.We visit regularly and the food is always great, we've never had to complain. Service can be a little slow, especially when the restaurant gets busier, we've had to wait as long as 40 minutes for food, but generally we don't wait longer than 15. We don't always get a check back. Staff have always been polite and helpful.
N. M.I am a Nandos expert having been to over 50 different Nandos’ across the world from Canada to Singapore through Botswana. My friend and I came out of this dinner looking at each other and we said: “Top 15 Nandos” which says a lot. Food took longer than usual but it was cooked to perfection so bravo Northampton Nandos cook. Super central, nice decoration, comfortable seating, clean, … probably as good as it gets.
A. A.This is my regular place. Try the family platter, you’ll love it. Nando’s got this great taste that makes you keep loving it
D. E.Ordering was dead easy. Scan the QR code on the table, order via your phone browser (no app required), and pay by phone. Food arrived within 7 minutes - can't fault it.
A. j.Food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Allowed us to order 10mins before closing and the till operator was excellent ( early 20s dark hair with a hat, didn't catch his name) .
L. D.Really good meal and quick service even on a busy night. Only let down was the only wine options available that night were wine in a can (at the price of over £6 a can!) which i found strange for a restaurant.
G. A.Went around 2-3pm last Saturday (19th) and no faults really. Quick service, front of house were lovely, food was good and toilets were clean considering it’s in central Northampton on a Saturday.
A. R.Well ok it’s Nando’s and it’s kind of what you expect from a Nando’s food wise. That’s peri peri chicken in some form or another kind of similar to what the menu says. I mean a “chicken pitta with aioli sauce, red onion relish topped with lettuce” will most likely be a pitta with chicken but the rest of it will be a gamble ,except the little bit of lettuce mushed down at the bottom will usually be there (not exactly “topped” unless you don’t know your arse from your elbow)
So basically you get sort of similar to what the menu says but, yeah chicken. There are veggie options along the lines of some kind of bean burger which aren’t too bad.
This particular Nando’s always has a wait for tables, always has empty tables, always has dirty tables waiting to be cleared and rubbish on the floor ( cutlery and napkins not like in the streets at least).
Some of the staff are great, friendly and cheerful, others not.
Overall for a quick chomp of chicken with a seat it’s ok but if Mac Donald’s ever started doing spicy chicken breast in a pitta there’s guys would go bust fast. That should give you a fair idea of this Nando’s anyway. Others are better or worse.
Oh yeah and the google pictures of cakes and stuff are not here.

N. S.Food was great, but service was too slow, half an hour post order isn't really good enough.
M. C.No beers at all. Food was awesome but disappointing that app shows no drinks rather than just saying they were out of stock. Although a little fella gave us free soft drinks which was nice.
A. W.Seated quickly, ordered via app. One of the meals was wrong and returned but quickly corrected. Big open space but noticed cobwebs around and seats looked like they hadn't been dusted in months definitely doesn't encourage you to come back. Meal however tasted very nice well done to the chef!

Placed an order for collection and this really sound guy, EDDY, called and informed me that the order won't be ready but he said it with such happy tone that I was cool with that! I respect the fact he called and didn't "chicken out".
I went to collect it and he apologised again for it being even later than before, but I did not care cause he had the right attitude and just didn't look like he's mad at the world! 😅
Loved it, feels like that made my evening! The food was lush as well, and we got an extra side! Thank you so much. Go Eddy!!!👏🏻

P. G.Basically a standard Nandos, service was great though and the location is nice as it's in the middle of town. Food came out fairly quickly and was hot. Nice decor as always and a new queue system lets you maybe grab a drink before being promoted to return when you table is ready.

If you are a fan of healthy and tasty chicken, look nowhere else.
Meals are always tasty except for the last time when they left me to starve cos they had run out of whole chicken (most likely cos of shortage of HGV drivers). But I'm pretty sure it would have been another jollification for the worms in my stomach had they not run out of supply.

Y. A.Average place with average food. I was told Nandos was nothing special so I didn't have high expectations to start with. Asked for Medium heat, got Lemon and Herb. Coleslaw is bought in, not made on site. Rice tasted like a microwavable spicy rice. So yeah, okay food but wouldn't come again. Oh and the REAL Kombucha is described as "fizz with rhubarb and peach" but it actually tasted like vinegar, then you read the bottle and it says fermented tea which isn't written on the menu.
R. B.A nice Nandos in the Cultural Quarter. Service was quick & efficient. Food was a bit disappointing. Burger buns were super tough & main salad consisted of lots of lettuce & little else. I'd stick to the usual peri peri chicken.

Parking for the area is a lottle skewed, being as its in town centre there's disabled bays outside the door but you can either park on roads nearby or use the multistorey parking units further away.

Went down an absolute treat! Would definitely go again. However it did feel rather overcrowded at times, which is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Everything else was top notch though, well done.

I got sweet tooth so, the one thing I enjoy the most is the bottomless frozen yoghurt!! Needn't I tell you about how many refills I got🍦. The interior looks good for photo lovers and evening dates. Customer care is on point too

G. M.Have seen service staff with earphones in. We receive inconsistent service when asking for allergen information (sometimes the server will provide the information book, sometimes they will tell us to queue at the till). Twice they have forgotten we ordered peri-salted chips, however this has been rectified quickly in both cases. Overall, the food comes out quickly and while the service is mixed, they have been quick to fix. It's fine for the price, but not outstanding.

D. C.As always Nando's neither let's you down or has any amazing surprises. The staff were friendly and we got seated quickly. I had the chicken as did everyone else I was with. Quite often the glasses you are handed are warm so I suggest swilling ice and water around the glass before starting to see how far you can push the limits of the human body by consuming copious amounts of carbonated drinks.
A.The quality of the food is consistent and the staff are always nice and attentive. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite small and always packed, so the tables are very close to each other, which makes you feel like you are eating with everyone around you. Quite hard to have a conversation without having to talk very loud...

They do refillable drinks which is also very handy considering how spicy some of there meals are. I will say though if you're a wimp like me, even the plain food is still a little spicy.

The guy who greeted us was such a happy outgoing person He let us pick a table he sat with us asked how our night was going made a joke about being on a date and left us to it! When we got to the tills the lady who greeted us was so friendly and even agreed with me that no pitta mix was a good choice! Food was good to! But the service was better(: defiantly coming again!
V. C.Usual Nando experience. Food was good. Service OK, a bit slow from ordering to getting food, but requested well done on Chicken, so was fine. Ordered a bottomless yogurt, machine wasn't working properly so reported it to one of the servers. 20mins later, still not fixed, so we had to leave as car park ticket was expiring. Went to tell someone who we assumed was a supervisor he was like, I'M fixing it now, I can't deal with you. 🙄🙄
So went to the till to pay for an upgrade on a cake or something to takeaway as couldn't wait. Manager then came out and gave us a free cake to go. Supervisor then gave us ice cream to go free too....so hey, win win for the customer!

Sprouts greens salad , peri peri chicken, liver fry, pita bread, sweet potato dish all are mouth watering simply love it. Varieties of sauces, and can customise spice to extreme hot, medium spice and low spice.

J. A.I honestly love nandos. Their peri peri sauce is the best. The only downside to nandos is that the staff can (sometimes, not often) be a bit slow at noticing us and seating us on a table and it can be a bit busy so it causes delay and makes us wait. Overall good though.
