Amazing!!!!! Love coming back to this place, the food is wonderful I cannot recommend it enough. The salt and chilli squid is so light and crispy The banh xeo pancake is delicious but the real winner for me was the spicy beef noodle soup. Go for the rare beef spicy noodle soup called Bun Bo Hue. And the mock tails are also to die for. I ordered strawberry and mango. Wish I had ordered two they were that yummy! There is nowhere else like this in Northants. Thanks and see you again soon! 🙏😁💖💖💖

Food was good, I think it might have needed more spice in the broth but that's probably how it's traditionally served. Green tea was very strong. Hot chocolate was nice according to my friend. Service was top notch, the waitress was really nice. Dessert was phenomenal, the mango pannacotta was a really good palette cleanser before we left. Delicious food. Finally visited Oren the other day after meaning to visit for years. The food was so fresh and delicious. The only downside was the service was erh slow. Main courses which were ordered after starters took an hour to come out. It would also be good if they offered a kids menu.

I had really high hope before visiting this place due to the photos we saw here... but... little disappointed with the food to be honest, special the beef salad, no taste in the beef whatsoever and taste a bit like rubber. The rice roll with prawns and bbq pork is also a no no... chicken wings were average, I didn't like the sauce tho, it feels like they were a little off. The most important one, the one we were really looking forward to... soup noodles... the soup base... is exactly what we had in HK (which means not really authentic Vietnamese) but overall really nice environment. Super friendly staffs and they made us feel welcome. We will definitely give it another chance.

Wow! The GF and I are huge fans of Vietnamese food so it's always exciting to try somewhere new. The menu options here are absolutely amazing and the quality of the food was spot on. Their salt chilli ribs were out of this world and the Bun Tai Hue was one of the nicest I've ever had, including those in Hue itself! The Pho Tai was beautiful as well. We will be back to try more soon, thank you for an amazing meal!

Nice little place. Simple and warm atmosphere. Great and fast service. Food was fresh, nice and hot. My entree which was the fried pancake with prawns, pork and bean sprouts was nice. Very crispy simple flavours. I had the pho with lean beef and meatballs as my main and it was actually lacking a few flavours. The broth had most authentic flavours but seemed to be lacking richness so slightly bland this time around but hopefully next time there will be more richness in the broth. The meat in the pho was great. Tender, juicy and full of flavour. So, the service and atmosphere and staff are amazing but not a full 5/5 due to the broth.

Travelled a fair distance to try this place after hearing good things, and certainly weren't disappointed! We had a large order (22 people) for lunch for our colleague appreciation day and the food was absolutely delicious! As a peanut allergy sufferer on a gluten free diet (yes, I'm one of those awkward people!) the menu was really clearly labelled and the food came delivered indicating which allergens were in each dish, which was a really lovely touch. My favourite was the popcorn chicken and the salt and pepper cauliflower. It's great to see a restaurant with amazing food which also caters for people with special dietary requirements such as vegan and gluten free. Cant wait to visit when restaurants reopen!

Been twice now. Food great both times but unfortunately floor team let the side down a bit on both times. One girl was good and trying her hardest but unfortunately the rest although very polite and nice needed more training by the management. There is a distinct lack of leadership and organisation on the restaurant floor. It's a shame as we would have ordered more drinks and desserts but nobody came even though we were looking around. We will continue to visit albeit knowing that we may have to wait a bit for drinks etc.I hope this feedback helps the management improve things as this restaurant is a little gem in Northampton.

Amazing food, great prices for huge portions. Impeccable service - we ordered on a busy Saturday night through Deliveroo. We were told it.would be a two hour wait which we agreed to and when it came to the time the order was cancelled due to lack.of drivers. After.phoning Oren themselves we found out the made the food and it's waiting. As we still wanted the food, a chef agreed to bring us the food on his way home... Amazing commitment to customer service ! We are very thankful and will carry on ordering from there on a regular basis.

Delicious food, fairly priced, excellent menu options - the menu itself has been really thoughtfully designed to highlight all of the choices for people with dietary restrictions. Absolutely fantastic tasting food for all you Vietnamese/Chinese food lovers out there who have a great appetite because the portions are huge. Went with my wife and daughter and they thoroughly enjoyed the food too and she is a vegetarian so they cater for everyone's needs.

The food was delicious and different from all the Asian cuisines that we've tried before. I haven't been to Vietnam, but the food looked genuine to me. The servings were so big that we couldn't eat everything :) The service wasn't the best though. I ordered a vegetarian starter, but was given the meat version. They quickly fixed the mistake, but then the main dish was ready before I could finish my late starter. I think they should wait until I finish, but they served it straight away. Also my boyfriend had to re-order his beer, because they forgot about it. Despite this, it is a restaurant worth recommending. The food is great and the staff is very kind, which makes you forgive them their mistakes :)

I can't believe it's taken us so long to visit here, I could eat here every day. The food is sublime, with wonderfully deep and intense flavours. This was our first time trying Vietnamese food and the staff really take the time to explain the dishes to you so you feel comfortable trying the new food. The setting is, relaxed and informal, the service was excellent and the prices are just right. Would highly recommend for both an indulgent feast with friends at the weekend or a quick dinner when you can't be bothered to cook on a week night. We'll be doing both as often as we can!

Excellent food excellent service. Very good for families with older children and teenagers. Excellent space for couples in a nice atmosphere. The food is very tasty and delicious. I recommend the goat curry and the soups they serve. All done in a Vietnamese Style with a compliment of sriracha sauce and hoisin sauce on the table. Very healthy and tasty food highly recommend this place. Also the staff are friendly and interesting to talk to. This is based on two visits this year with my family both with birthdays.

Eventual 1st time visit to eat in this beautifully decorated restaurant after ogling it for quite some time, but was left underwhelmed by my dish. Granted, it was one out of at least 20(?) different main courses, so possibly hit and miss. Most importantly, when provided with a glass to toast my companions' wedding anniversary, it was dirty with the lip stain of its previous user. Glass quickly substituted. However, I was also provided with a dirty knife, so too was its replacement. Seldom do I feel inclined to leave feedback, positive or negative, but felt compelled to do so on this occasion. Generous 3 stars as regards my having just one of the many main dishes.

The restaurant itself is friendly and inviting as are the staff. With little knowledge of Vietnamese food the waiter took the time to explain various dishes on the menu. Be careful how many dishes you order as the portions are substantial. We had a couple of starters which arrived promptly then followed up with a duck Pho and a spicy beef Pho in very large bowls full to the top with meat,vegetables and noodles in a flavoursome broth. The food was delicious though a bit tricky unless your an expert with the chopsticks. All in all very friendly staff serving delicious authentic Vietnamese food at good value. If you like your food from the Far East then this is the place to go.

I figured it was time to re-review Oren Pho following a second visit in March 2019 with their new menu. Great news for fellow Northampton vegans: almost all the vegetable-based dishes are now vegan. Only one of the large plates has egg as a core component. The veggie spring rolls were served with chilli sauce on request, not fish sauce. This time my wife and I avoided the vegan pho and went for grilled/stir-fried dishes. The best dish was aubergine and sweet potato tossed in a tasty sauce/coating - amazing! We also ordered a plate with fried tofu, mushrooms, and broccoli in a gravy-like sauce. I'd guess its authentically Vietnamese, but the tofu used is silken-like inside the crispy coating. It reminded me of sweetbreads (YMMV) and would have preferred crispy firm tofu. The sauce was also a bit bland! Service overall was fine, and a free glass of Prosecco was available for Mothers' Day. I really want to love Oren Pho but I've been disappointed by a dish each time! I'll definitely come back to try some of the other vegan options on the menu as I think it's a case of finding your favourites.

Awful waitress. Would suddenly walk away to do something else when youre speaking or she'd simply ignore you. That happened throughout the meal. Starter and drinks took one hour. There was only 4 tables filled so it wasnt even near busy.We saw 3 cooks in the kitchen working too so no idea what took so long. ONE HOUR for drinks is inexcusable. And we had to ask for refills 3 times before she finally did, 25 minutes after the 1st request. Even when the starters finally arrived it was incomplete. The rest of it arrived after all our mains were served. She was serving alone but not once did she excuse herself or apologise for the long waits. We were the only table left by the time we finished, and she didnt even bother to look up and say a simple bye when we left. Really rude waitress with extremely poor service. Never written a review before thats how bad it was. Like we were unwanted. The 3 stars are purely for the nice food. Seriously though train your staff please.

I am no expert on Vietnamese food and need guidance, more guidance than the menu offers, I think they thought they had a couple of English idiots and they were right. What we had was ok less tasty than I expected seemingly based on dilute sweet chilli sauce. I am however an expert on inadequately washed cutlery and crockery both of which were on my table. I have given 4* because I can't compare the food and the service was ok. I will try again but might look up Vietnamese cuisine first.
