Absolutely amazing. The food is great here. Not the cheapest but very high quality. So tasty and worth the money. One of the nicest restaurants in the area. It has atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. Overall the food is superb and I recommend, we will definitely visit again

Overall a good night as the food is extremely good. Prices are a little high. Service was not brilliant , first drinks info was poor and not that friendly, only a couple of food menus were available so we had to share, main wine menu needed to be requested and final bill was incorrectly showing a second bottle of wine. It strikes us that the food, if consistent, could be in the 1 Michelin bracket, but front of house would need to improve.

First visit & genuinely pleased with whole experience. Staff were welcoming, charming & very attentive throughout. We were recommended & so glad to eat here as food was superb. Had prawns starter with lovely monkfish main, well presented & very tasty. Would recommend & definitely be back, it is not cheap but all about good value, quality of food & the experience. What an amazing experience at the Kings l had with friends. The food did not disappoint- succulent scallops, juicy fillet steak, amazing desserts. Only downside is that if you have an allergy or intolerance its not clearly written on any dish ( gluten,dairy,nuts etc). I had to ask for a dish if it contained dairy but besides that it was amazing. Remember to bring lots of wonga!!£££ worth it

Easy online booking, much higer quality food than expected from a pub, reasonable prices. Need to stress it out, you get fancy dining quality food here. As a suggestion I d get a few more beers on tap.(or give out drinks menu)

A fabulous location of a restaurant, especially on a sunny day, where we sat outside for pre dinner drinks. I had the liver Parfait for starter which was beautiful and the Sea bass for mains which was equally tasty. The issue that we had as a Birthday party group was that we pre warned and booked 4 people in out party as vegetarians (including the birthday girl) and required the vegetarian Sunday dinner, unfortunately this wasn't fully communicated as the vegetarian roast was just the vegetables without gravy. The gravy was unfortunately meat gravy and we had to ask for an alternative which was a mushroom or tomato sauce which wasn't ideal as these were just sauces from other meals on the menu. It would be great if there was a specific sunday roast for veggies, like a nut roast or maybe a flat mushroom with breadcrumb as the main element. In reflection dessert was absolutely amazing for us all, the warm mousse is to die for! I love this restaurant alot, and I think Danny and Jo have made it fabulous, just a bit of thought into a vegetarian roast would be perfect!

Had Sunday lunch and the meals we excellent and staff friendly. Nice location, well maintained and thought through surroundings. Would have been a five star but a young member of staff needs to be trained to gently place the food in front of you and to give the impression they care about the experience offered. But don’t let this put you off, the other young girl that served us and finally actioned the bill was excellent. We would recommend and go again.

Staff were attentive, and friendly. Safety measures in place ensured space between tables, and access to sanitisers and hand washing facilities. A lovely female waitress managed my dietary needs with gluten free gravy and a fabulous gluten and dairy free desert. The chef produced some delicious and well presented food.

First time to the Kings Head and I really enjoyed it, even in Lockdown. The pub is lovely inside and the staff and service was fantastic. The food was really good had the tomato and garlic prawns to start. For the main i had the rump of lamb which was perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend.

Good food and service. Not your normal pub grub so don't go expecting a plate that is over flowing. It is quality over quantity. We had 3 courses and were impressed with the flavours and presentation. Nice place for a special meal. We will come back in the summer and try out the patio area.

Excellent pub. The food is good the service was very friendly and efficient. My wife had hangar steak which actually was tough but when asked if everything was ok they immediately took it away and supplied another which she said was excellent. They are open from 8.30am where they have a coffee shop. Lunch is from Mid-day to 2.30. my food was excellent. Highly recommend the King's Head.

What a fantastic place - whether you're stopping in for a coffee or a delicious meal. Great variety in the menus (I'm a big fan of the lunch time salads). Staff are friendly and nothing is too much for them. Has a really lovely, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for bringing groups of friends.

Dinner for 2 on Monday evening. This was our 1st visit to Brasserie23, excellent 3 course meal for 2. Food was very good although the new potatoes for my wife dinner were a little late. Bill came to £50 per head with wine and beer, but worth it for a special occasion.

Thought we would try this out. Very noisy restaurant bar,no real welcome on arrival,had to wait quite some time for our order to be taken.the menu is a bit limited(no pasta dishes) the food was beautifully presented ,don’t expect a large portion though. I had a take on fish and chips which was nice but only 1 king prawn scampi! The price of beers was as you would expect in a village pub,but the wine list prices are an absolute rip off.nothing much under £17.95 a bottle for something you can buy elsewhere for a lot less,and a glass of wine for£6.95 come on this is not London!! Needless to say we will not be returning Simon Crow from chapel Brampton.
