We had a voucher for 50% off main meals so we booked a table. We visited and was greeted by the very friendly staff, from the waitress to the barman. Even though it was Saturday evening we had a choice of tables to sit at. Nice choice on the menu and reasonable prices. Myself and wife chose the half roast chicken, but unfortunately they had no stock. So we opted instead for the smothered chicken melt. The food arrived in good time, was hot and tasted very nice. I had cheesecake and my wife had the apple and blackberry crumble for dessert. Prices were very reasonable and even much better with our 50% off mains voucher. I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars, however what let it down was food left on the floor under the tables. Apart from that it was very good. We will be back.

Came here for a roast on Father's Day and everything was fantastic. Dylan was incredibly friendly - we couldn't have asked for a better server. Had a side of chicken wings and they're easily some of the best we've ever had. Roast was great - meat was perfectly cooked and big portions. We will definitely be back!

Staff were absolutely lovely. Especially our waitress, Tricia. She really made us welcome and feel like we were old friends. The only criticism I would have is that there is only one vegan starter, one vegan main and one vegan dessert. No choice really. Especially as the item I chose was out of stock. 😔 Everyone was very accommodating with my Service Dog though, making him very welcome and providing a bowl of water.

Our party of 8 were very well looked after by efficient and attentive staff. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming and happily gave us the non-alcoholic beer and spirit options when asked before showing us the way to our table. The fillet steak and steak salad were excellent. The lasagne, gammon, beef and ale pie looked great too. Lovely puds too. The children's meal was a really good size for a hungry 7 year old. Great pub, food and service!

Dined here Monday to Friday for 7 weeks whilst working in the Northampton area. At breakfast times Alex, Arthur, Trish & Shirley always looked after us. Wether it was breakfast time or evening meal, they always had smiles on their faces. Great service, Great food & generous portions also. We had breakfast this morning for a group of 5 adults and 3 children. The service was really good, staff friendly and attentive. We all had cooked breakfast and pastries. Croissants came out lovely and warm. Meal was really good value and kids ate free. Would recommend.

I was Staying in The Premier Inn next to this Beefeater. I spent a few hours in the afternnon working and came back for my evening meal. Staff were friendly and accomodating. The directed me to seating where I could plug my laptop in and were very pleasant. They Serve Costa coffee which is good, same as everywhere else that serves it. In the evening it was quite busy but i was still served promptly and politely by the staff and didnt have to wait ling for my meal. Food Served here is the standar Beefeater menu, steaks, grills and burgers as well as a few other British pub staples. Food was of a good standard and a reasonable price. Its a fairly good sized pub with a separate bar area. There is ample parking and wheelchair access.

Went for breakfast with my Son last Sunday... Very friendly staff who fitted us in even though we were after time. We had a full English which was great and access to the continental buffet. We were both amazed at the quality and variety on offer for £9.50 each with all drinks included. I was then double gobsmacked when our bill only showed one breakfast at £9.50 but the ever attentive waitress said that kids under 16 eat free!!! BRILLIANT.

Great food at decent prices. I was surprised to find they were out of sirloin steak by early evening. Had to go for rump which is not my first choice but was cooked very well. Unfortunately we were sat next to a large party with a screaming baby when trying to enjoy a dinner for two. We also had to wait 25 minutes for a server to notice us at the end and get the bill. Aside from that enjoyed the food and will be returning hoping for a better experience.

The service was excellent, our waitress, Angie, has been there a while and is brilliant, whatever you ask for she always gets it right. Want to swap chips for potatoes, no problem, alter the sides, all sorted. Even after your meal has arrived she comes back regularly to check if you want more drinks, is everything ok. Really attentive. She's great with fussy kids too. This was a special event, family birthday, and it really was perfect. The food was delicious, presented beautifully. Reasonably priced, great setting, definitely recommend! 😊

Well I must say, it's been a long time since we have been here over a year ago as we gave a 1 star last time. It was fab tonight with a new chef and the food was great, so much better. We had a lovely steak and burgers. The service was brilliant and the atmosphere was back to how it used to be. It was clean and fresh looking well done we will be back again very soon. The breakfast was beautiful, you order as much as you like for a set price. It's just off the M1 motorway and the food is much better than what you get at the services. The staff were friendly and polite and the interior design creates a very nice ambiance. My only criticism would be to improve the signage, as it was not apparent that breakfast was served in the rear of the building, but we quickly overcame this and it was still a five star experience overall. Absolutely loved the food here. Very good quality, I had the prawns in garlic starter, with flat iron steak for my main, very nice, steak was cooked medium rare how I like it. The chips were lovely. Staff were very good at finding us a table as it was full. The full english breakfast next morning was cooked very well and tasty. My boys loved the pancakes and syrup! The orders were always taken quickly, no hanging about. Very easy to get the staff's attention if wanted.

Me and my partner both had a beef Sunday lunch here. The food was perfect...very tasty and great portions so definitely value for money. We went on a busy day so as we hadn't booked, we had to eat in the bar area however we didn't mind and were happy with our setting.

The early bird menu is well worth it 2 steak dinners for under £20 is a bargain. With such a low price some would say the steaks would be poor. However the rump was quite nice only one small piece of grissel and cooked to order. The early bird voice of puddings was limited but again for the price I paid I would say worth every penny. They do a lovely steak here and not all Beefeaters do. The staff are very friendly and the waiting time was fine, considering how busy they were this evening. I had the sloe gin trifle for dessert and this is where they lost the 1 point. The base was not very pleasant. A bit sour and mushy with tinned custard and whippy cream. To be very picky, I didn't get any chocolate chips on the top either. I'll definitely go there again, but I'll have a different dessert.

My whole family come here to eat every few months, and we're always very happy with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - even when it gets busy. My son needs gluten free food, so I'm also happy that this is well catered for.

Usual level of efficiency - left waiting at the access point to be seated for nearly 15 minutes and ignored by most staff even though we had a booking. Feeling amongst regulars in the line was that its always like this. Food was very good when we got it as always. Large south facing garden and seating area. Well frequented by locals, nearby business park employees, and the neighbouring hotel guests. Car Park can get full up and on street parking available. Good menu and drink choices.

I am a regular customer of the beefeater at turnpike Harpole. We take advantage of your meal offers and eat the top or medium meals. This could be 2/3 times a month. Depending on your offers. We are very satisfied with it all Your meat is cooked to my liking. I've had the new Surf and Turf . I love all sea food and the combination is really good. I wish there was more. Sometimes I have calamaris as a starter. The girls are very polite and help sorting out menues. Just one more beefeater in Northampton would be good. And one close to Addenbrookes Cambridge would be nice because I visit there every 2 weeks and we have to find somewhere to eat all the time.

Have used the Beefeaters for breakfast before and really enjoyed it. The Turnpike cooked breakfast was not upto the others standard. Certainly do not ask for an omelette, it looked liked a couple of fried eggs mixed slightly together and the scrambled well let's not go there. The continental part was fine, but not sure the coffee machine actually worked properly.

I love this place, great food, great beer and nice friendly staff..... but .....I think I owe you some money????? I arrived just after the kitchen had shut.... around 10pm on Wed 12th August I think! After a very long day on the road I was looking for somewhere to park up for the night as the truckstop down the road was full. The manager was kind enough to let me park my truck in the corner of the carpark to have my break wile I waited for them to reopen at breakfast. I had a pint and got my head down for the night...... Breakfast was just perfect...... Except I think I left without paying? I would of paid cash and didn't need a receipt so I'm not sure? Tried calling you but nobody answers and you don't have an answer machine!!!! Next time I'm in the area I will call in and pay if I forgot when I left this morning.... Hope that's ok?
