Best Fish and Chips by far. Everytime they are fresh and hot. Fish is cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Chips are good and chunky. Certainly can recommend 👌

I ordered when I arrived it was busy so it took about 15 minutes to get the counter the fish was not ready so waited outside for another 15 minutes took the food home very disappointed the batter was thick and uncooked on the inside and the fish was very dry almost unedible but my dog seemed to enjoy it

Excellent Fish and Chip's 12 Broadland MGOC members phoned their order through 1 hour in advance this worked fine for everyone. Staff were very obliging and efficient. Would recommend to anyone passing. We ate our meals in car park opposite . Great David J

Came in late in the day and I think the cod was rushed a bit, could have done with being a bit crispier batter and stood so it wasn't as greasy. Cod was skinned which I like. At the right time I'm sure this is a really good fish and chip shop.

Waited in a queue for about 10 mins. Assumed it was because food would be amazing as the queues were well out the door. When I ordered I was tutted at for having not pre ordered an item as I walked in (no signs stating this). Was then told to wait out side and my food would be brought to the collection point. I asked for everything to be left open as we were going to sit on a bench just down the road. They shouted my order and it was wrapped. No salt and vinegar and not asked if we wanted any. The chips were dry and very brown. The kids didn't want them. I ended up walking to the local shop and buying a cheap bottle of ketchup to put on them. Small portions and over priced. Not impressed. Only given a 3 as the cheese and onion croquet I ordered was lovely and fresh and hot. Not over priced. The staff in general were polite and efficient, just not the lady who served me who was too Interested in talking to the lady before me about disneyland.

This is a very lovely family run fish and chips shop. They have been in operation for the last 26 years and they do offer some of the most excellent fish and chips. I always buy the large cod and chips and I have never yet been disappointed. The fish is fresh and crispy and tasty too. You have to beat in mind that occupying a village location, the shop closes at 1.30pm for siesta and reopens again at 4pm until 8pm,or 9pm on a Saturday. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Do make it a point of visiting this friendly family run chippy and you will be very delighted you did.

I have been using this fish and chip shop ever since there's been one there (over 40yrs) never had to complain but it's twice in a row now.. several weeks ago I bought cod and small chips, I live 5mins away and they were almost cold when I got home and the chips were virtually non existent. Tonight I bought the same and yes they were lovely and hot when I got back but again there's hardly any chips 😥 . Is there a potato shortage? your fish is Spot on though. Nowhere like it.

I can't recommend this Fish & Chip shop highly enough. I've been coming here literally all of my life and there is one word to describe this place in all that time, consistency. For nearly 30 years I've had the same quality fish and chips every single time. It is a testament to the owners and staff that they can so consistently cook perfect fish and chips every single time. I love this place and I can't recommend it enough!

Popped in here at lunchtime Thursday 23 September. Now I love F&C anytime but my wife finds F&C doesn't always treat her well. THESE WERE THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS WE HAVE EVER HAD! Very busy and why not, good food, but we had a quite large order 4 adults 2 kids and a couple items missing when we plated, fortunately did not spoil the meal, too far to go back and sort it out lol. Guy outside gave me hand sanitizer and I went into shop wearing a mask, ordered my food, paid for it and sat outside in the car and waited for my fish to be cooked, chips lovely, fresh and red hot, fish wonderful, tasty, red hot and lovely crunchy batter, would recommend highly and will use again on any return visit. We have been living in Stalham for 4 years and went next door to the Tender Chicken quite regularly. Only last week we went for the fish and chips (don't know why it took so long...). By gosh the haddock was enormous! If they say large it sure is large... Not too greasy and very tasty! Portion size is top and price reasonable. Was so happy with what we had last week I went back today after my 12 hour shift for myself. Yet again, top!

IMPORTANT: Unless its a medium cod or a sausage, you will need to order before queuing up. They don't tell you that, they just expect you to know it!! Order on left side side as you walk in and don't expect great customer service at all. no one seems to smile there. never had a bad meal from here but go in and order fish before queuing up. locally run which means no frills or great decor but portions are huge. no card taken, only cash. cash machine 50 yds away at post office. Update. Now accepts cards so I am told
