Overall, lovely experience and recommend it to any Norwich locals!
Only thing - the bisque was an unusually small portion. I’ve normally only ever had it as a soup. This was more of a purée so this explains it to some degree, but it really should have been a bigger portion for £9.50. I would rather a bigger helping of bisque instead of the prawns because it was delicious.

A little bit of Portugal in Norwich.
We had been for lunch in the past and this time we had dinner, it was superb! We both had the fillet steaks supplied by “Tom Hixson of Smithfields” they were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The meat was served with skin on fries, pepper and onion salsa and peri peri sauce. The finest steak i have had for a long time!

M. E.Absolutely amazing! Loved every bite. I had the pork with sweet potato fries. My wife had clams, followed by red snapper with prawns. The food here is special.
The staff are very friendly and allow you to eat and drink at your own pace.

Stunning pork carved from the leg was exquisite. Melt in the mouth and divine taste. We are now spoiled for any other pork!
Tasting dish for main. Steak was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Huge prawns were stunning. And the chorizo sausage was one of the best I have tasted.
Full we took some of the famous Portuguese custard tarts home with instructions to reheat them 😋
Very highly recommended. A real treat in Norwich and we will be back!
Update May 2022: Tuesday night is tapas and steak menu. Excellent menu. Great wine recommendation. Tasty desserts 😋
E. H.Jorge's is a wonderful intimate restaurant with phenomenal food. The servers are excellent, know their menu well and give good recommendations that suit the person. The pork is particularly excellent though it is hard to select just one thing from our starters and mains.
E. E.Absolutely fantastic meat! We had picanha, t-bone, and black pork, and it was all amazingly good. Beautifully cooked - just the right amount of grilled crispiness to set off the wonderfully juicy meat. Don't forget the chimichurri sauce - really sets things off perfectly. Great friendly service too. Good wine (so I'm told).
