L. S.Met up with a couple of friends here. We all had a very nice lunch. My vegan option of spicy lentil hotpot was lovely and would definitely go again just to have this! The vegan chocolate torte was also great. Well done to the staff.
B. W.Great place for tasty, good value food. Staff all really friendly, easy parking. Wouldn't have stumbled across it so really glad when a friend recommended a trip.
S.Unfortunately we were too late for breakfast and too early for lunch! But we decided to have coffee and wait for lunchtime. Sunday roast was a choice of beef, turkey or gammon with a good selection of vegetables. Very reasonably priced and decent size portions.
P. G.A standard chain pub menu, however the food and service was good. What I really appreciated was that they came and took our order from the table, this is becoming a bit of a rarity in chain pubs these days with most taking orders at the bar. I would go back again.
S. C.Called in for breakfast before travelling to Cornwell. Very satisfied with breakfast. Full English and continental breakfast. Staff very good but it would be advisable to arrive early as it can get very busy at times.
k. g.Went for breakfast and i sent my cooked one back. Asked for runny poached eggs and they were hard as rocks. Black pudding was cold and flacid. Bacon was fatty and cold the only hot item was the mushrooms. It just felt as though it had been sat in a bain marie . The continental was ok but you cant really go wrong with cerial and coffee. Kids enjoyed it and the manager was apologetic and gave my meal for free. I didnt ask for the food to be done again as i was a bit peeved they couldnt get the 1st plate out correctly. So i give 3 stars just for the managers helpfulness or it would be 1 star.
