Had an amazing experience at this venue. Although I was performing, I can say that the staff and owners are extremely top notch. They make sure that their customers are taken care of. When a problem arises, they make sure it is handled. I would recommend them to host any event. Great day and night.

Regularly eat at this pub, great atmosphere, wonderful owners and the food is amazing. They are having a change of chef, but I'm sure the quality of food will be maintained. Not many pubs as good as this and I've tried a few in my time

Came here with our son. Nicely laid out pub, obviously doing social distancing stuff. The food was good, especially the waffles with biscoff. More than adequate for two people. Nice range of beers (both ales and lagers). Staff were friendly and helpful. We had booked, glad we did as people were turned away who hadn't.

First time to the Countryman, stopped by on the off chance after our countryside walk with friends, so glad we did staff were pleasant and the quality of the food was excellent, all at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

Excellent pizza which uses authentic Italian ingredients, in particular mozzarella fior di latte instead of regular mozzarella which is what usually makes the difference. Only criticism of it would be that it's clearly cooked in a pan, which you'd never see in Italy, so it loses its authenticity for that and it produces thick, high crusts. Friendly staff though and reasonable prices.

My wife and I were so impressed by the quality of the food here. The Licensee (Steve) and his partner Michelle were courteous and helpful. As I said, the food was piping hot, very tasty and large portions. Would highly recommend this place save for the decor which could be improved a tad.

My first visit here with family mid week and very pleasant dining experience. Initially we stopped for drinks in the garden at the rear with it's own pond but decided to go in for a celebratory meal for my sister's birthday. Although she has a strict diet they were able to accommodate her request albeit on the 2nd menu choice, the menu has a good number of options. Very nice staff. We will probably stop again there, if we're passing by.

A nice clean and bright pub with a lovely garden for outside eating and drinking. Unfortunately the food wasn't up to much our chicken was dry and tough loads of Stilton sauce which was a saviour although it had a real need for more Stilton. Food just didn't live up to much but could have been just a bad day in the kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can imagine this place being a great spot to stop in for a pint on a summers day.

We was in Norwich for a long day at a dance competion and needed to refuel on route home. Stopped here by chance and were pleasantly surprised, the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us, despite us arriving just before food stopped. Good food and portion sizes just what we needed and a nice break up the journey. Defiantly recommend and best of all no detours required!

We came across the Countryman on our way to Aylsham. The service and food we're absolutely excellent and a really good beer too. We had our 6 month old granddaughter with us and she was entertained by I've of the super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. Recently went with 7 family members for dinner. The staff were very helpful and efficicent, the food was delicious and plentiful, with a wide choice on the menu. All reasonably priced. Lovely experience, will go again.

The staff are very good and the young chef is excellent. A starter and main meal for under £11.00. One Prawn Cocktail and Whitebait Then Cottage pie and Steak pie to follow. £30 with drinks, good value and recommended.

Seems a nice little pub, the beer was good, a pool table and dart board if that's what you fancy. Outside seating if the weathers ok in a small beer garden and a reasonable sized car park. Worth a pint if you're passing on the A140. Can't comment on the food as I didn't eat.

Can not reply directly to google reviews so will answer the last reviewer with one of my own. Use of our toilets. We NEVER mind people stopping to use our toilets BUT prefer people to ask. only polite to do so. For the information of the review who complained about her parents. these are the FACTS Your parents came in at 11,20 am. both went of to the toilets, without saying a word. Your mother came out first and waited by the exit with keys in hand. They never asked for a menu. They had NO intention of staying for lunch as you state. They ONLY came in to use the loos. When questioned I mentioned it would of been nice to ask. we ALWAYS SAY YES . They then purchased a coffee out of guilt and left promptly. My staff are NOT horrendous. It was me the owner who questioned them. And politely I may add. Thank you

Would have had 5 stars only that the chicken I had was a tadge tough. The wife's chilli con care was very hot, chilli wise. Picky I know but we enjoyed it and will definitely go back. Overall a lovely meal. Lovely staff

A party of eighteen of us went for Sunday lunch. There was no delay getting to our table, and we were all served was promptly by cheerful staff We all enjoyed our meal so much that a table has been booked for our Christmas meal.
