This place is incredible, vegan food to die for! The flavours were insane and the food was generally really inventive. Never tasted vegan meat alternatives as good, especially the texture. It was better than actual real meat by far! The owner and the staff are the nicest people, they clearly really love and believe in what they’re doing. We’re no local to Nottingham and drove over an hour to come here and was well worth it. Thanks for the amazing experience guys, we will be back again whenever we can!!

Honestly can't recommend this place enough. Visited for the first time today and was blown away. I had the crispy chicken burger with fries and corn ribs. Everything was outstanding. The IPA was brilliant too. I forgot to ask for the name of the person who served us but he was great too. Just a really amazing experience. The best food I've had in a long time.

This is an absolutely amazing place to eat. The menu is bursting with creative food that is an absolute sensation for your tastebuds. Incredible food and such great vibes! Truly cannot fault anything from our experience here today, some of the best food we have ever eaten and although we live an hour and a half away we will be back for more next week. It is absolutely worth the journey 😀 all staff were super friendly and kind, the restaurant was clean and modern, and we even got a free dessert from the team as a very sweet gesture to celebrate recently getting married. We cannot wait to come back and hope that 13th Element can eventually become NATIONWIDE as everyone deserves this awesome food in their lives!!! Keep it up guys, amazing food!!!

Such a great place to eat. 13th Element is so so good for many reasons. The music, the decor the dining experience, good value, oh and the food, the food, it’s amazing! The smoked burger that’s served in a smoke filled cloche is a nice touch 👌🏼

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had anywhere.....I'm not vegan but my friend is so I thought it'd be nice to try but I wasnt expecting much taste wise, I ordered a burger with lots of sides.....the burger is the best burger I've ever had, hands down, I would happily pick this over a meat burger any day, it was just so tasty!! You have to taste it to believe it because it sounds over dramatic when I say it but truly it's incredible and that was just the burger!!!....the sides are delicious, the milkshakes are delicious, the desserts!! God the desserts!!...my favourite was the cookie dough but the brownie was fantastic, the service was fantastic, the layout was perfect, it was extremely clean, can't wait to return so I can work my way through the other half of the menu!!

Superb food! We stopped by today for my partner's birthday and the food was sublime. Top quality wholesome and filling vegan food. Even thought they weren't doing dine in they let us sit in to order for takeaway and they still gave top-notch customer service. We will certainly be back again! This place has some truly incredible food! Me and my partner had a burger each and a couple of sides to share, incredible! Chicken texture was really good, and the jerk loaded fries were bang on point. Sauces provided a good kick of flavour and spice if that’s what you like too! Even get a loyalty card which is great, we will be returning at some point! Only downside to the place was on visiting the toilet, to see a basket of non vegan toiletries that were free to use. As a vegan this just let the place down for me.

We came all the way from Coventry and were not disappointed one bit! We ordered chickn lickin burger, buffalo burger, shwarma loaded fries and korn ribs. My mum and auntie are veggie and I've always been thinking about becoming veggie and this place just puts up amazing alternatives for why going vegan or veggie is the way forward! The food quality was very good and presentation as well. You could tell a lot of care had gone into preparing the meal. It's just that it's too expensive for me personally, if you don't mind paying £10 plus for a burger with no chips then it's worth it I suppose. and with a 10% slapped on at the end without being told that there's a service charge that I personally I wasn't expecting. Apart from that, like I said I enjoyed the meal It tasted great.

Visited today for the second time in a week. I have to say this is the best vegan food I’ve ever had - the tastes and textures are amazing and just put a smile on your face! They have a great menu - not too many options as what they have is absolutely perfect. I’m an omnivore so eat a wide variety of food and this satisfies both ‘alternatives’ and purely vegan dishes. The restaurant feels fresh and vibrant - a nice place to hang out and have a good chat. The whole experience is well presented, the staff are lovely and I really hope they continue to have great success. 100% will be visiting again!

I first visited 13th element just over a year ago when they were based at the golden fleece, we found them accidentally when we had planned to go to the prickly pear and they had not opened despite us explaining we were travelling some distance. A quick happy cow search found this brilliant place, the food is absolutely delicious and service is amazing. Since then we have got take out whenever we have been in Nottingham and for the first time sat in on fathers day at the new premises. It's an absolutely beautiful place with incredible food!

Delicious vegan food that never feels like a compromise or like it’s been added to the menu as an after-thought! Love the range, not too much to dilute the quality but each burger/dish is specially thought out and unique to the others. It’s my favourite takeout now in Notts!

I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times now and I can most certainly say I’ve died and gone to heaven 3 times the food is that amazing! The food is so unique and there’s a huge gap in the market for this style of food. If you’re a vegan / vegetarian you should take all the time in the world to travel to this lovely place in Nottingham (trust me it will be worth your while). The service is outstanding, we always feel welcome and they present the food so well. We can clearly see that they believe in what they are doing and they always present their ideas to us for the future, which is very exciting I must say! Me and my partner recently visited this Sunday. All i can say is WOW. The best burger I have ever had in my life (and I’m non vegan). My partner is vegan and has been for a number of years now, he said it’s the best vegan burger he’s ever had - he enjoyed the burger so much, he decided to order another! The service was wonderful, brilliant menu and the vibe of this place is immaculate. Will definitely be coming back.

The burger tasted fine. Not for someone who is a true beef burger fan, it's not an alternative! Taste and sauces can be improved. Serving portion is quite small for the price you are paying. Loved the fries! The overall dine-in experience was pleasant, though they take a lot more time then regular burger chains, to prepare the meals, which was quite annoying.

This review comes in two parts. The food experience and the personal experience. Personal experience... After an unfortunate incident which meant I was not able to board my flight, I was stranded in Nottingham. I came here looking to find a nice vegan restaurant to settle in whilst I figure out what to do next. The owners of this restaurant were 10/10 amazing. Service was great and very friendly before they even knew about my situation. Once the elephant in the room was addressed (all my suitcases and me dressed for Spain!), the staff/owners were nothing but amazing. They offered support and advice and were as kind to allow me to stay after they closed the restaurant, and helped me by calling up places themselves to sort bookings and sorting out what to do next. After what was a rather rubbish day, my experience here definitely restored some of my faith in humanity. Food experience..... I had ordered quite a lot of food (stress eating maybe haha). The staff were able to suggest good combinations and helped with the decision process. As for the food, some of the best food I have had. Not just the best vegan food, but best food all together. I would of enjoyed this just the same even in my old school meat eater days! I will be sure to revisit 13th Element, just wish there was more restaurants like this place. Could not recommend enough.

Don't miss the chicken tenders, buffalo chicken burger or truffle burger. Even the wine is great (get the pinot noir). The vibe and staff are brilliant too.

Food was tasty, I had a bacon burger (decent) and seasoned fries (OK) wife had KFC (tasty but a lot of batter) and truffle fries (amazing) but the chips were served in cold dishes and it took half an hour to arrive. It came to £28 (no drinks) which I thought was a bit steep for what we had, I could have made the burger myself from supermarket ingredients and for £13 (extra for chips) I would expect something more special than that.

We came to Nottingham for the first time for my birthday and we’d come across 13th Element online as one of the best vegan places in the city. When we arrived we discovered that they weren’t doing dine-in for another few weeks (this was on 9th January though, I believe they’re open for dine-in now). The chef who answered the door to us was really polite and let us order to takeaway and let us sit in the restaurant area while we waited. I have to say that the chick’n’ tenders were my favourite and were moist. Along with the sweet chilli dip it came with it reminded me of when I used to order chicken selects from Maccies before I went veggie (these were much better though, of course). Our burgers were really nice too. I went for the Crispy Chick’n’ burger (although I’ll definitely go for the buffalo one next time as I like spice) while my partner went for the Carri-Beyond. Next time we’re in Nottingham we’re definitely coming back to sit-in! Keep up the great work guys, the food is amazing.

Food is actually very tasty! The Chick'n tenders are particularly delicious. Also the corn ribs are clever and a pleasant surprise for the taste buds. However, the service is and organisation is something to be desired! Although arriving on time for a booked table, we were told we were to wait, as another booking (that turned up 15 minutes late) had priority. Strange logic. Also, we waited forever to get acknowledged by the waitress, to be given wrong advice on drinks and having extra items appearing on the bill. This was quite disappointing considering the food was so good. I would give them another chance to see if these little niggles have been rectified, however, if not, I wouldn't be back.

Wow! Just wow! Exceptionally high standard vegan / plant based eats. Mainly burgers and dirty fries but really sensational flavour & quality. Visually gorgeous, I'd post a photo but it was after we'd already absolutely destroyed half of it. They are only open for take out at the moment but opening their doors soon, the place looks gorgeous and has these beautiful African portraits up which really add to the feel of the place - if I'm not mistaken there are African influences in the food too... Got me vibing soul / happiness / connection / respect of body / humanity. Got talking with one of the owners, was an absolute gentleman.. Clearly very focused. Nice place and the food was unbelievably good and will definitely be back! Looking forward to the menu change in the next weeks too. Some of the vest food we've had in a long time. Minor bits but probably down to personal preferences. I found the drinks very expensive so will be having water next time. £4.50 a can of 330ml beer and £9.50 for a gin was far too much. Also adding the service charge to the bill is a pet hate, especially when I'd say it was fine but on the slower side. Other than that, spot on and will be back!

I've been ordering from 13th via uber eats for a while now so was so excited when they finally opened a restaurant. The whole experience was amazing, staff are so welcoming and fiendly, the restaurant is gorgeous with beautiful artwork and the food is absolutely fantastic. I went with some people who haven't tried 13th before and they were blown away. I ordered a burger that came under a dome of hickory smoke, mac balls and corn ribs and it was amazing! The brownie was also ridiculously good. I highly, highly recommend 13th element for all your vegan needs (non vegans should also check it out and prepare to be shocked!). These are the best burgers in the UK hands down!

Food is good if you like vegan cheese. I would rather not have cheese, have tried to eat it a few times. Our whole family in Leicester is already strict vegetarian and lurching sporadically towards veganism. Quite appropriate since the whole vegan movement started in Leicester. Lots of fried stuff. Can't be that good for you. I'm at that stage in life where seriously thinking of going from carnivorous to vegan but I need to source less processed more vegetable based food and recipes. There's a lot you can do with chickpeas/pulses and fresh fruit/veg.

Every food we ordered had its own unique taste. That is very difficult to achieve. I had 13th element burger and my wife had buffalo burger. I cant remember the names of rest of the dishes but trust me, anything you will order will be amazing from this place. The food is little bit expensive. But its worth it. The dips should definately not be £1 each. Should be 50p. Overall we had great time. Staff was lovely too.

We have been to 13th Element several times now at both Sneinton Market and in the street food club in Victoria Centre and every time the food has been amazing!! We have tried nearly all the burgers and sides on the menu and they are delicious! I used to think of vegan food as being bland and boring but everything was packed full of flavour. I loved the little touches like the edible flowers, and their ideas are great like the Korn Ribs. 100% recommend whether you are vegan or not - you won't be disappointed! I really hope this local business is around to stay and I look forward to seeing their future menu ideas.

THE best burgers and fries ever, the food is fresh, hot and delicious every time we order. While out shopping on Saturday in intu Victoria centre me and a couple friend decided to go to the Nottingham streetfood club as we heard it had reopen! I’ve heard the hype about this 13th element place and thought let me see if it live up to it! On entering the streetfood club we were seated and shown how to order which was really easy to follow! I ordered the carri beyond burger, fries and side of the corn ribs to keep in with the theme! The food came very quickly and looked amazing! I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I have to say that the burger was the best I’ve had, it was full of flavour and little heat which was just perfect! The fries were homemade and just amazing too! But the corn ribs, wow wow wow I’ve never seen anything like it, what a picture and the taste was to be accepted, just amazing! Overall I love it and I’ll be back for sure! I 100% recommended if you don’t know get to know!

We’ve been to the Nottingham streetfood club in Victoria centre on several occasions and tried most of there offerings! But the one we keep coming back for is 13th element. At first we were a bit apprehensive as we aren’t vegan and the vegan food we have tried just hasn’t hit the stop! But this isn’t true for 13th element. We’ve tried most of there menu and it’s all just so flavoursome and has a air of great quality. So when people say vegan food is boring that just isn’t true, trust me and believe me and try there’s guys and you’ll soon change your mind! We will keep coming back to enjoy there offerings!
