S. N.We have been to Ania a number of times and last night was our latest visit. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful with the menu. The food is very good and well presented, most meals are cooked fresh after the order is placed and although the service isn't slow, if you want fast food go to McDonalds. We love it here and will return again and again. I can highly recommend Ania, if you want a lovely meal served by lovely people look no further.

Food was impeccable with healthy sized portions. All the sauces were rich and well seasoned. The beetroot and salad sides were a great touch.

N. M.Still never disappoints. Lovely, home cooked food in a real family run restaurant. The pork in plum sauce is wonderful. All so full, we couldn’t manager any dessert. The fried pierogi were a bit too heavy for me - but that is what they are. Drink prices very reasonable. It’s a proper evening out, and well worth going.

Having a couple of vodkas with the food is a pleasant change. I have been to the restaurant several times and it has always been a pleasure. It's good value at full price, but with a 2-4-1 offer on main courses it's a bargain.

O. C.It was alright. The meat tasted and felt like the kind of meat youd get from a residential care home and could have been a lot fresher. The meals were tasty in their own right but the quality of ingredients let the side down. Veg was beautifully cooked and the service was heartwarmingly welcoming, if a little slow at times. Would return if I heard they were getting restaurant quality meat in, as it felt like they were cutting corners.

j.Lovely authentic experience in a cosy venue. Ania was very attentive and helpful in suggesting a drink to start off with. The food was tasty, I can't understand why some people make comments that its bland! I ordered prawn cocktail to start, and I have to say it was the best I've ever had, then got main I had Chicken in a mushroom sauce, it was huge and I struggled to eat all the chicken, my husband chose pork dripping which he was happy with and the loin of pork and that was also very tasty. I asked for cheesecake to take away as I was so full. Thanks to Ania and her daughter for a lovely birthday meal .

I am pleased to say that it was as good as we hoped - the service, food and value were all excellent. As we went on a Tuesday night, I probably should have steered clear of the cherry vodka though - but it was too nice to resist!

The menu is extensive & if you couldn't find anything you liked on there there is something wrong with you. We had three courses & everything was fantastic. We were separating a birthday. They brought out a dessert with a candle & we all sang happy birthday.
After they gave us complementary liquors & saved us off when we left.
Will definitely be returning.

Portions were generous and everything was cooked to perfection. Lived every minute and would highly recommend Ania's restaurant to anyone travelling. It was also extremely well priced and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night your get one free main meal when you pay for one.

J. B.I cannot rate this place higly enough. It is my most favourite restaurant in Nottingham. It is such a welcoming and friendly place. Ania is always there, working hard to ensure you have the best time. The food is always super fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. Check the menu before you go as it is quite small and I think it has stayed pretty much the same for years, but that is because it works, the place is always busy. Make sure you call to book, especially at the weekend! The outside isn't much to look at, so may have even walked past without noticing it, but inside it is spotlessly clean and always with the very best fresh flowers, clean linen and candles on all tables. If you haven't tried a Polish restaurant before I would urge you to start here. I absolutely guarantee you will be back!

The food was delicious. We were a group of 8. When it came to the bill we thought they had made a mistake... It was less than £10 per person and that included drinks. Then we realised they had an offer of buy 1main course get one free. Well worth a visit. I have no negatives to say about this restaurant. Great experience. 😀👍

The only thing that let it down was the seating, you are sitting on top of each other really, the space is so small. It opens at 6pm and we got there at 6.15 and it was already practically full so ensure you book if you want to go as it stayed full all night. Good service lovely manners, mince staff. Their beetroot soup is out of this world as is the apple cake. Whatever you order is always tasty. Portions are generous, so you won't leave hungry. Good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks won't leave you thirsty.

J. C.Extremely lucky to get a table on Father's day due to a cancellation. Really didn't know what to expect as never eaten Polish food before. What we never expected was the fantastic all round experience. The Staff 100% professional helpful and gracious. The menu was to good so many choices we wanted everything. The food was awesome superbly cooked and with flavours my palet was not accustomed to but will be again. The price was incredible had we been charged twice as much we would not of been dissatisfied. This place does not carry it's number 1 restaurant in Nottingham status by luck. You reap what you sow and Ania is testament to that.

J. K.This one took me by surprise and not necessarily in a good way. Having read many reviews directing me to the 'best restaurant in Nottingham' I was disappointed to find that the food was a little lack lustre. Don't get me wrong it was tasty and not doubt the recipes authentic polish, but it was mostly under seasoned, under ambitious and overall and little bland. The portion sizes were very generous though, and the chap serving us was a super hero! The drink menu was comprehensive. There is some. Parking outside, but give yourself 5 minutes to find one before your reservation.

Delicious food, friendly, cozy atmosphere and parking nearby. Food took a little time to arrive, but nothing that was unexpected for a busy Sunday lunch service.
N. A.Small Polish Restautant in Sherwood with good quality food without frills. Busy on Wednesday evening mainly due to a party of around 25 so a little close & hot but food made up for it. I tried Perogy - pasta parcels with filling of potato, cheese & veg- very good even if a little greasy. Service also good considering there’s only one waitress, lovely & helpful Natalia. Worth a revisit and will try something different next time.

Whether it's for a special occasion like a birthday or just for lunch they always make you welcome and the service is always excellent. It is never too much trouble of someone wants something cooked a little different or want a different sauce that's not on the menu. always obliging and nothing is too much. only issue is that the portion sizes are SO big you'll feel guity if you can't manage to finish all that delicious food! Jedzenie pyszne, w duzych porcjach, domowe, desery palce lizać (sernik, jabłecznik robiony domowo), właścicielka Pani Ania miła, serdeczna, uśmiechnięta, czułem się jak u cioci w gościach, bardzo za to dziękuję za tą gościnę gdzie czujesz ze nie jesteś zwykłym „klientem” ale naprawdę gościem :))
Jeśli chodzi o sam lokal bardzo ładny, przytulny, elegancki ale tez prosty, co rekomendował bym osobiście to ściągnięcie zasłony z okna która zasłania widok wnętrza z zewnątrz :) pozdrawiamy z Bristolu i mam nadzieje do zobaczenia znów :)
