Might have to join a queue but it's definitely worth it. We have had numerous different meals from here and every one has been delicious. We travel to come here as it's not local to us, then find somewhere to park up and eat. We come at least twice every month and looking forward to our next drive out.

Great fish and chips. The Haloumi bites served in a box with salad for £4.00 is great value and taste. Also serve donna kebabs with chicken and chicken Tikka in a box or in a pitta. Can upgrade to nan if requested.

By far the best chip shop in the area and one of the best we’ve had in the country! Everything is always fresh and cooked perfectly. The cod is always spot on and there is no skin like many other nottingham chip shops. But the star of the show is the chicken curry special. It’s an absolute monster! Chips, rice and chicken curry all wrapped up in an XL naan. It’s the perfect dirty takeaway dinner!

I had a lovely Doner Cob from this chippy. We all know that Doner meat isn't exactly the highest quality meat you can get, but it really does taste good, and Annesley Road Chippy seem to have it down to a fine art. I thoroughly enjoyed my generous portion of meat, (tee-hee), served on a burger bun and topped with what was allegedly a hot chilli sauce. The sauce was the weak point. I like my hot sauce to pack a punch and this didn't, unfortunately. It wasn't nasty, it just lacked a chilli "kick". Still, the atmosphere in the shop itself was great and the staff all seem like a lot of fun. I will happily return here for more chip shop goodness in future. 👍😁

This place is brilliant. It is rare to get a takeaway that is a genuine chip shop that can also do a good kebab. My wife and I have stopped coming here, not because it’s bad, but because my waistline can’t handle it anymore. Once I manage to loose some meterage off my midriff I will use again, responsibly. On a serious note their chips are good, burgers and kebabs too. My wife and boys rate their fish. Portion sizes are very good. Can’t go wrong with this place.

Great easy online ordering, friendly staff and delicious fish. It seems family run which I like, staff having fun together and working efficiently. I had an extended wait for my order but it did include gluten free items so I understand and would still visit again. They could label the GF items better just for reassurance - maybe put them in a separate bag, not personally worried about contamination but it reassures that the items are definitely as intended. Absolutely perfect 100% food 100% friendly 100% Going Back I would recommend the kebab meal it's like 20 quid but it feeds 6 ideal if your having kebab night with friends, I tend to change the naan bread to pitta which works better but they will change it for ya, but well worth trying!!!

Food is nice but the staff or at least 1 of them was very rude on arrival. I placed my order on line and the options given were select a time to collect or order for now, the later is the option I chose, I arrived at the shop yo be asked if I'd ordered and said yes gave my time and was abruptly told I was early. How could I be I thought I ordered for click and collect now and it took me 5 mins to get to the shop. DID I READ THE EMAIL well of course not I followed the website instructions why do I need to also read an email I was given my order by a much nicer young girl and left the shop to get in my car opposite the shop, at this point all I could hear was the girl who first served still going on about me being early and moaning. I have used your sister shop during all of locdowns and the staff have been brilliant, but this girl is so rude I will never go back, please send her on some customer service courses

great food but rude staff. banter with a customer is fine, when appropriate what is not appropriate is getting the order wrong twice an then when asking to double check my order was made right I was greeted with sarcasm which the boss shrugged off as banter which it wasn't it was rude.

Excellent fish and chips, nearly every time. Sometimes during slow periods the fish can be left under the warmer for a while making it dry, but this is very rare and I'm a regular visitor. The price is reasonable and the staff generally welcoming with decent portion sizes.

Sometimes chips are crunchy and lovely and doner kebab is great - when they are busy the standard slips, kebab meat greasy and chips taken out too soon so not quite right. Great food but service was slow, I get service can be slow sometimes as I work in retail but there was at least 6 people working and only 2 before whilst 4 of them was just talking and not doing anything now I get its nice to have a chat but not when customers are there then I asked for more sauce on my wrap which I was ignored although the lady was near me and I said very loudly and when I said I didn't need a bag aswell she still gave me one, end of that though food is great service can be tweaked

Most of the time there is a short wait for the chips. So the chips are fresh. Service by the staff is excellent. They are quick to serve you. Not to long a wait even with alot of customers.
