Visited on the 4th of April; I wouldn't call this place splendid but ok...the food wasn't the greatest however their freshly made naan bread with the houmous spread was fantastic 🤩 The food itself was a bit too dry for me and the Pina colada was terrible (am sorry not nice at all) I think they used stale milk or something 🫢 The server was not sure of what she was saying half the time, the toilets were vile and I had to ask for tissue from one of their staff who gave me serviette to use, this was a Monday (the start of the week! I expected a little better) It is located right in the heart of Nottingham city centre just a walking distance from the paid car park which wasn't too expensive. To be fair, the decor is nice, I went with a few other guys who also said their food wasn't great but still edible I guess 😀 I don't think I would be visiting again as first impressions are everything to me. Oh the paid carpark we used is sooo tight, you could see that many cars had been scratched against the walls😱 You have to be really careful when manuovering in there. The carpark is right opposite the Waitrose I think and a lil cafe that sells some sort of assorted teas...sorry can't really remember the name 😊

Beautiful restaurant with contemporary decor. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I had the olives and mixed grill, there was plenty of food, and the meat was cooked very well, though the chicken did seem a little chewy and could have been juicier. Great mix of flavours and very seasoned, would definitely recommend this place.

I was so busy devouring the food could not take photos of it but it was delicious! I’ve never enjoyed Turkish food from other restaurants in Nottingham but Aspendos is completely different. A great representation of the Mediterranean cuisine with a nice blend of World Cuisine. They also serve alcohol and have amazing cocktails as the bartender is very talented. The portion sizes are extremely big which I did like since you pay very little (except for meat dishes) and get a huge plate. The taste was amazing, I had Mousakka and Ezme with it finishing with a nice Rice Pudding.

Had a lovely evening meal here with friends. The food is good and the service excellent . Yasmin and Berk were lovely and friendly. The house white wine was reasonably priced was really nice. We had complimentary bread and dips and went for a sharing platter . The resturant decor is very attractive.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant and fantastic food People of Nottingham you really need to go here The cold starters with pitta were delicious. Great for sharing between the 4 of us. The lamb Beyti that I had was really tasty and everyone else had different dishes but all confirmed they were equally delicious Will definitely be back for more

Perfect mix of all the things a modern British customer wants: alcohol selection, modern decor, good coffee yet with authentic Turkish cuisine, renowned Turkish hospitality and Eastern atmosphere. Just had a lovely authentic Turkish lunch. The restaurant has been decorated beautifully - would be even better in the evening.
