The restaurant is well located in the West Bridgeford area of Nottingham & very close to Trent Bridge international cricket ground. It is very well laid out, comfortable & has a pleasing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful & attentive. My only comment is that my curry (rated at 1 chilli) was far hotter than I expected, very tasty, but I couldn’t quite finish it. I would go again but ask for it to be tempered down a little 👍

Absolutely blown away with the quality of this fine dining Indian restaurant. The dishes are so unique, for someone who has travelled India a lot this was so special to try dishes that are from the owners travels. Excellent service. I highly recommend the pani puri (complete with a literal carriage of tamarind and coriander water), the chicken Chertinad and the lamb Maas was incredible. Thank you so much, we will be back :) xxx

Just placed my first ordrr with these guys today, they have care and compassion for their customers the Aloo and peas with daal I don't know why took me travelling somewhere else 😆. communication: I will pop in soon when Im able to, due to the cost of living and bills, Im sure you guys know the struggles most of us face. Result: proper indian food, the service was fantastic as was the food, price was slightly over but thats ok was well worth the order and will now be your regular customer. 🍲🥗💯.

Have dined in and had take away from Bombay West Bridgford. The food is good but very rich. The menu is good for identifying vegan food but not other intolerances, for this you have to speak to someone to verify if a dish contains gluten for example. Take away was prompt and available soon after ordering for collection during lockdown. We were part of a large party in January and the service wasn't as good as it could have been, food not coming out at the same time, missing orders etc hence 4 rather than 5 star. It is more expensive than other places and although good not quite worth the increase in price tag. I'd be happy to order again but it is not somewhere you go for value for money. The menu is also a little difficult to navigate when using a smartphone, especially if you want to alter from delivery to collection

This place is fantastic, I can recommend the Lamb shank, it exceeded expectations, amazing. I’ll definitely be back. The staff are friendly, attentive and efficient. Rest of our party enjoyed their meals as well. Forget the classic British Indian meals, although you get those here too, try this pace for a taste of the real thing..

Great food and a lovely atmosphere, but the prices are too high for what you get, so it won’t be the first place I think of getting a curry from, also the rice isn’t included with the mains, which would only make sense if it was cheaper, but it’s not. Staff are really nice and friendly!

I came for a takeaway here and the food quality and service was beautiful. The taste was top quality and the care and love the stuff had was clear. Even though they had a busy restaurant at the time I wasn't just pushed to the side. I was greeted and made to feel just as welcome as all the eat in customers. The portion sizes were also fairly large and I probably didn't also need rice but it made for a lovely lunch the next day. Definitely would recommend and will be visiting lots more.

Ate here yesterday evening with a friend and have to say it was absolutely delicious. We both had chicken handi it’s was flavoursome and had a good kick to it.. the only point of improvement I could make is the chicken was on the tough side, but other than that it was delicious. Staff were friendly and looked after us.. the manager lady was walking round checking on everyone which was nice to see. Will definitely be returning again soon

Having eaten curries, usually around Birmingham, for the last forty years it's very rare that something exceptional raises its head. I called here early evening and chose the Boatman's Curry. It's basically a shellfish curry. The quality of the fish, the amount provided and the tastes were exceptional. I think the two people serving are a couple. They were extremely friendly and enthusiastic. It's such a shame it isn't local to me.

Enjoyed Beautiful food here! We came as a group for my Birthday & all of our dishes were delicious. The only disappointment was the chutney pots are far too small & we had to ask for more, three times. A little more expensive than other restaurants I've tried but the food was so good that I will definitely return.

As I work in the Hospitality Industry, I am always asked to recommend Pubs and Restaurants to guests who stay with us, so I have become a bit of a food critic myself. I very much dislike people who take to social media to place a nasty review and biased opinion about a business. They are clearly not in business themselves, because lets face it, we are all different and no matter how hard you try, you can never please everyone. That should always be remembered when reading anything. I believe its highly unprofessional. Our visit was on a rainy Saturday night. However the warm welcome we received on arrival more than made up for the damp and grey day. The restaurant was clean and the food was served hot without any delays. We loved the menu and even though it didn't contain the usual Korma etc, the alternative options were delicious, such a change. I would definitely recommend a visit, if your looking for good food, a relaxed atmosphere at an excellent price and not forgetting the friendly and helpful service. 10/10. Thank you Guys x

Have been using the place since it opened and have never had a problem. Mainly use it for takeaway now and was served an excellent meal for lunchtime at the first day of the test match in takeout containers for three. Not a grain of rice, naan or chicken/lamb left. Very envious glances from those around us.

Enjoyed Bombay Bridgford's BBQ pack this weekend - we may not be able to get out for a curry during lockdown, but this was absolutely superb, definitely the next best thing! And I really enjoyed being able to cook it at home myself, rather than having it as a takeaway.

Wow! Recently moved to West Bridgford from London and we thought we’d start out trying local curry places to find our regular. Well that was easy! Perfect food, my husband usually gets left dissatisfied by the lack of heat in a curry but was very happy with the spiciest one on the menu here. Mine was delicious also, and the peshwari naan best I’ve ever had. And kingfisher on tap, woohoo! The only things (but not big enough to knock a star off) were that it was a bit cold in there, but I think we were sitting by the air con, and it was a very cold night. Poppadums weren’t automatically served with lime chilli pickle but we asked for it and man alive it was amazing! Also the frontage is a bit off putting, if I hadn’t looked online before I wouldn’t have been so keen to go in but inside it’s really lovely. We’ll be back!!
