*update* since the management responded that they would address the issue the problem with quantity has been resolved and is much better! Food is really good but £1.70 for a 2 oz pot of dip, they literally drizzle a tiny bit into it. It’s a 2oz pot but not even a quarter full. This is the second time I’ve ordered dips as a side as their ‘loaded’ fries no longer come with a good amount of sauce on and it ends up being dry chips and chicken. I thought the first time was maybe a mistake… but no. Also they have changed their loaded fries from a long box to a small circular one with considerably less in it.. again the food is really good it tastes amazing and I order from here often so I hope they sort this out

Food is tasty and made quickly - we can usually collect within 15 minutes. Only downside is that it’s quite expensive.

Absolutely amazing, start to finish. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavours. The gentleman warned us a couple dishes were spicy, which they were, but not so much the heat overtook the flavours. The wings were fantastic, the sauce was unique, the heat just right.

I was only collecting a few bits for my vegan niece, but they had some dishes that had not been collected and were going cold that they offered to us and they were stunning! .... Has to be the best takeaway around! Superb food and wonderful tastes, the rice is perfect! As non meat eaters we did wonder what was on offer, but wow! Such great food. Had 2 deliveries now and it’s so fresh as if you are in the place and they put it straight on your table. 10/10 👍

Love this place. Restaurant quality food delivered to your door is what you get here. Look at the attention to detail they put into their packaging, you know the food inside is going to have the same detail added to it.

Really nice food, plenty of interesting vegan options. Staff are friendly and make sure orders are ready on time. We order here often and any minor issues have always been quickly resolved without any issue. Also great that nearly all the packaging is recyclable! Haven't used the delivery service as we always collect. Free parking opposite, just remember to grab the free parking ticket from the pay and display machine.

Website for ordering and paying for your meal is very easy to use, giving suggestions if you are not sure what to have. My food was to be delivered and I had a phone call from a very nice polite gentleman asking if I would like my food slightly earlier, as they had a driver who could deliver , that was fantastic. The food is delicious, packed and presented beautifully, the portions are huge. I think this has to be one of the best takeaway meals I have ever had. So happy I found it, I now know where my food is coming from in future.

The finest ingredients infused in a unique way to produce food that is nothing short of perfection. Just because food is not eye wateringly spicy it does not mean it's bland and if you have a fine palate you can appreciate this food, which I do. Yes the rice was plain but that is the way Chao Chao make it .... yes sure the Katsu curry is also less spicy than some items on the menu but again that is the way Chao Chao make it. If you want it your way make it at home yourself. Some may say the price but not me and if you feel it's expensive try and make it at home to your own taste. The mild flavour of the Katsu curry to the fiery dip this food is a joy to eat and an absolute treat for anyone with a fine palate. Rating: 5/5👍🏾

Our first order from Chao Chao - Wow! By far the best takeaway we've had. Ordered on a Saturday during lockdown so knew they were busy, took about an hour. The food was amazing! Tasty, fresh and delicious. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. Even the packaging was quality! I cant recommend enough!

Chao chao???? It gets a huge YES YES from me!!! Flavoursome, spicy and authentic tasting good. I ordered the Thai green curry (which if anyone knows Thai food in Nottingham, it’s impossible to find a proper tasting Thai curry as they are usually bland and not at all like curries and a lot more like soup) and the teriyaki beef and on both counts these two dishes are of good restaurant quality. My order was delivered within 45 minutes and hot and fresh from the kitchen. Highly recommend *****

Delivered promptly, and oh the flavours! Our search for good Asian takeout is at an end. Chao Chao is not good. It's excellent. The Bang Bang cauliflower is pure genius and the Malaysian street curry is perfectly balanced. I will be eating my way through their menu. Mmmmm!

Not as I expected, better than I had hoped. When it opened recently in Arnold I was curious about what it was and more importantly what food it served. After looking at the online menu i assumed it was another generic westernised attempt at pan Asian "street food" and thought nothing more about the place. This evening my wife suggested trying the place out which we did with some resistance from me. We ordered and collected he food, arrived home and sat down to eat. I was immediately surprised by the amazing smell and generous portion size of every item we had ordered. The taste of the food matched it's smell. The food was as close to authentic street food as i have tasted in the UK. It was reasonably priced and i have on many occasion paid much more in a restaurant for food of lesser quality. I would highly recommend trying this take away if you have not already as it is unlikely you will be disappointed. One word of waning though, although the food is not hugely spicy there is a lot of fresh chilli used to garnish.

The food is excellent, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Favourites include Beef Rendang, Donburi, Malaysian Curry, Korean Friend Chicken and Chilli Squid. I would however recommend you collect, as I've experienced where food has been delivered to the wrong address, by their delivery partner DG cars, and took a few days to resolve the refund with the store.

We just had the vegan veg and tofu katsu curry. I have to say this meal was amazing, cannot recommend this dish enough, the flavours are sooooooo good and tasty, this will definitely be one of our new go to spots for vegan food. Get your self down for some good grub. Thanks Chao Chao.

I noticed this restaurant/Takeaway after finishing work a few weeks back before it had opened and after visiting their website and seeing that they have another branch in West Bridgeford I could not wait for it to open! I ordered from here tonight and I was not dissapointed. Delivery was very quick and the food was outstanding, a lot better than your average oriental takeaway.

It wasn't bad! But it wasn't what i thought it was going to be. I thought the duck was very overpriced for what you got. A small portion of duck and sauce but loads Of cucumber and spring onions! I feel like the dishes could be slightly more saucy than dry.
