Definitely a unique deli experience in Nottingham! Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee break and even fine Italian groceries Delilah is definitely the place to be. One of my all time faves in Nottingham.

I love visiting this place! Really cute deli in the heart of Nottingham. We came here for lunch and had fantastic food, really great value for money, and great service I had the frazzled chorizo, haloumi, rocket and chili jam soughdough sandwich and my fiance had the soup of the day (tomato anf corriander) and rarebit. Both were delicious and I definately recommend them both. Great artisinal range of foods from artisan breads to cheeses, balsamic glazes and sweet treats. We took some jaffa cake cake slices home with us anf they were so moist and delicious. One of the best places to visit in Nottingham!

Stopped in this morning for breakfast - we both got the French Toast and it was insanely good! Our server, Tom, was very friendly and invited us to their pizza night tonight - can’t go unfortch as we are travelling but still lovely. The shop itself is super cute for gifts, loads of artisan chocolate and the like. A must visit and definitely grab some food too :)))

Went to an event here last night and had some of the most amazing food I've ever had (the tomato, basil and feta sorbets the highlight!) The event was really well run and the food themed with the night. The host / owner was knowledgeable, engaged and engaging and for my first meal out post covid it was well organized and felt very safe without the safety measures feeling intrusive. I've eaten here lots before, and taken part in one of the at home wine tastings (great fun!) and have had an amazing experience every time.

Great place for artisan foods like chutneys and lovely deli counter. This visit we had 2 amazing sandwiches - ones I wouldn't make myself - pastrami and sauerkraut & quatre fromages taken in the upper gallery. Bit pricey but well worth going, hence the 4 stars.

Always wandered in to do a bit of shopping, like Cheese and fresh Olives along with all the other fabulous food products. This time we had lunch in the upstairs cafe area. The lunch was great and nice coffee too. There is also a bar area downstairs which serves all kinds of drinks and of course nibbles along with their delicious cakes particularly their cheesecakes.

The best Deli in town, always busy, good for breakfast, lunch or brunch. There are a big corner of cheese and cold cuts that you can order or take home. This is also a place to come for tapas and a glass of wine. There are many selections of wine/fine wine available.

First time visiting on Good Friday, shame we didn't have time to walk around the ground floor as the items they have on offer look wonderful. The food and service were great, but drinks a little on the slow side - attribute this to them being very busy and it being Easter. An okay selection for people with dietary requirements, even though not listed on the menu. I had a salmon and cream cheese omelette which was absolutely incredible. Would definitely come back, even if to just look around!

came in for lunch with my mum today (8/1/22) and even though it was really busy the food was immense- had the salmon sandwich and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches i've ever had! Shoutout to Leo, our server who was so quick, friendly and professional- a real asset to the place!

Really lovely waiter and service. We had a cauliflower dish (which we weren't happy with) and he replaced it with no hassle. I really like it here and have always liked the staff, the atmosphere and the food - probably won't get the cauliflower thing again. Sandwiches are sooo good.

Great food for a brunch or lunch over the weekend! They have a long option for teas and coffees, as well as vegetarian/vegan food. The kale and wild mushroom bruschetta was really good, as well as the frittatas. The shop is absolutely lovely with a good selection of italian delicatessen food, lots of good wines and good cheese and cured meet.

Been a few times previously when in Nottingham and considered the meals and prices fair. However, went today and had the chargrilled steak with rocket in black garlic sauce. The steak was almost not there and what was there was on the chewy side. Not worth the price today. We ended up having dessert (which was good) as we felt that we had not had a main course, rather a taster. Staff were good as usual.

Better pre pandemic. Now it is plagued with all the one way system, rules and knickerwetting curse of covid drama. Having said that while one staff member had a heart attack at the sight of me picking up some cheese to buy the other staff members were human and helpful and I bought some lovely wine with the help of a very knowledgeable person. Oh for the Delilahs of yesterday year though. It would be nice to box the nonsense and fear theatrics.

The shop is brilliant with all the samples on offer. The staff were helpful and offered advice. I bought olives, strawberry and cream popcorn and blue cheese savoury biscuits for a client. They were well received, very tasty and most enjoyable. Will be going back for more and maybe I'll try the cafe next!

Although it needs a bit of updating decor and furnitures the building was beautiful. The food we had ( salami and cheese sharing plate) was really lovely! Especially bread was real heaven for us. We came here today and the parents liked the food we had. For five of us it worked out at eleven pounds each for a sandwich and a drink. The food was enjoyable but I felt it would be better with a bit of rocket and cherry tomoatoes on the side I know a garnish is not for everyone but it helps with presenting and sometimes a bit of salad is a nice complement to a lovely Sandwich, I thought the tea was well presented too. My only down fall is the toilets being unisex were awful and could have been cleaner. I had to dodge a pile of pee all over the floor to get to a toilet. I will come again but next time I will try a different dish.

Ambiance 5/5 Food 2/5 Overall 3/5 Mixed feelings about this one. The ambiance and decor is very inviting. The blend of dining and shopping for fine foods looks beautiful and place looks bustling. The food on other hand is a different story. The two types of breads on sandwiches were very very chewy. The prices are not refelcted in the taste. The sandwiches taste no different than your usual garden center cafès. They are just.. okay. Polenta chips were the most disappointing I have ever tried - Extremely oily and smell of overused oil at that. I recommend to visit and enjoy the ambiance. Buy slightly overpriced stuff for the experience of it. Stay away from sandwiches and mains. Stick to tapas and coffee etc.

The service was prompt and friendly and the setting was pleasant on the mezzanine overlooking the deli below. They also have an impressive selection of coffees. Would definitelynitely recommend.

The best fine foods shop in Nottingham. The quality and spread of the foods on offer is excellent, everyone finds something they'd like to try. Particularly stellar is the cheese selection and the knowledge of the staff; you can go in and sample any cheese you want with the help of the staff so that they can find something you enjoy. Another thing to look for is their wine selection. This shop also offers lunch, all made in house from the foods they sell. Highly recommended.

All of the below still applies, but I had a terrible expirence about a year ago when I went in with my baby. She cried, as babies do, and the attitude from the staff dived. The difference was immediate and palpable. I presume crying babes aren't welcome, which is fair enough, but if someone has paid for food and drink you owe it to them to force a smile, or a refund and ask them to leave. Haven't been in since, and don't plan to go back, which is a crying shame because it was my place to go for a treat with my wife. The best quality ingredients from there deli make for affordable and delicious meal. The staff and super helpful, as well as being very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Meats, cheeses, wines...all of it is pure quality. If there is a wait for a table, do yourself a favour and stick it out.

Very difficult to find a table, not very disabled friendly, tables down stairs are akward, there was food on the floor. Food was decent, expensive. A nice selection of deli products to buy. I find however that they have possibly the best coffee selection in nottingham.

Stunning decor and ambience, not unlike a fine Parisian coffee house or Viennese deli. Certainly not your regular greasy spoon, put it that way. Great Delhi if you are looking for an interesting selection of cured meats and cheeses. Large selection of speciality tea, coffee, wine and some beers. It's an Aladdin's cave of speciality food and drink. It feels a bit in the expensive side, but I guess you are paying for better quality or unique stock. Seating available to eat at a bar or tables set around the shop (mostly upstairs). It's gets busy at lunch so may be hard to find a table.

I don't carry cash, and even in Delilah Fine Foods, a loaf of bread comes in a bit under the £5 minimum charge - an outdated practice. Otherwise OK, interesting, a bit 1980s, for me maybe too much in packets and jars, a kind of 'gift shoppe' vibe - why not stuff I can't get on Amazon e.g. (speaking as a non-vegan!) serrano ham carved from the jamonero, some italian sausages, maybe arrosto rosemary ham? Take a look at La Fromagerie W1 for an updated vision of deli/cafe. It's a lot more work, of course.

I'm not a regular visitor to Nottingham but had come across this place the last I visited, well before covid, so was happy to find it again when I felt the need for a late breakfast. I intended to order something reasonably healthy but when the waitress came over to take my order, the little devil sitting on my shoulder took control of my power of speech and made me order the gourmet full english breakfast. Now, if you judge a breakfast solely on how cheap and how many sausages you get head to Weatherspoons BUT if you want top quality ingredients, beatifully prepared and presented and still get plenty on the plate to fill someone with a belly as big as mine, visit this place. It is at the upper end of the scale for price bands for breakfasts, but in my opinion is still reasonable value when the quality of the ingredients snd their taste is cosidered.
