Full of life, very hospitable and great with my kids. The food was incredible!! My husband, mum and myself all had the black ‘n’ blue burger and it was soooo yummy! Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you to all the staff there on Saturday for a great experience.

h. w.As a treat I thought we would try this place. While its out of my price range for going every week, the experience is something that will make us return at some point. One thing I noticed first off was how good they are to accommodate families despite the less room in the restaurant. Also how the accept special needs - had a few bad experiences taking my son out for meals.
The food is made for your order so its hot fresh and well made. The burger I ordered I couldnt finish, napkin job for my dogs once home! My son on the other hand had been playing out all day so he finished his! He wanted a dessert but the waffle was far too big for him, I tried that, wasn't how I remembered waffles as a kid, so a little disappointed. The milkshake was lovely, had a skinny one so my son could try it.
Overall it was a good experience, and the food is brought to your table once you pay at the counter.
Just a shame they dont do lime milkshakes,
C. M.Staff were lovely. First thing they asked was if we had any allergies. Told her my son has a nut allergy so she showed me their app which you can select your allergens and it then lists the menu without the foods you cannot eat. Sunday before Christmas, was expecting them to be busy, but service was great, good arrived quickly and was delicious.

Free refills on your drinks (check which ones) and I did enjoy the self serve machines for soft drinks - they have a variety of drinks to choose from. You do have to go up and order at the counter. I would say Ed's has a nandos type of service now.
S. H.Seriously... to say this is just a restaurant tucked into a shopping centre I was hesitant on quality... I went and browsed the menu and all the food sounded amazing.. this diner is American themed ... which appeals to me! I ordered the BBQ chicken cheese burger...and cheesy and bacon fries... which wasn't that cheap but I thought I'd go for it! And by Jesus I was bloody suprised! It was amazing! Seriously...heaven in my mouth. I've been back since and it was amazing again. The food is well worth the money!
I definitely recommend trying it out if you're ever in the shopping centre and peckish!

K. P.Had my first visit to Ed's Easy Diner today and I was impressed by the food here. It was a Wednesday so we order the chicken and bacon burger for the price of one with the sides of halloumi cheese and sweet potato fries, I also had a Freak Shake which was to die for. The staff were really nice from the moment we arrived, we didn't have to wait to be seated, when we ordered our food the person that served us was patients and polite about the changes we asked for which is quite rare to find in food places as it means more work for the staff, however they handed it great. It wasn't busy so the atmosphere was really great and calm, however most of the tables were dirty when we first arrived which was surprising to say that it wasn't busy but besides that one small detail I enjoyed every moment there. Food arrived quickly and would definitely recommend 👌🏻

Staff are friendly and there's a wide range of food on the menu. I would say that it feels a bit strange being sort of open to the rest of the shopping centre, and they used to only play old 50s music which they have changed to chart stuff which is a shame. Still a good place for a hot dog though!

We had a discount price through a local offer, so we felt like we got a fantastic deal, but I can understand some of the negative reviews about the full price menu if buying for a family. Overall, if it was a choice between this place and a similar style/price place, I’d go here again. Customer service wins overall!
L. H.Food was okay, wasn't liking toasted bun for my burger, it put me off. But other than that the service was amazing and really really quick. I had a young 'drop dead gorgeous' lady serve me who was polite and always smiling. I literally sat there for hour and half or so, had 2 coffee's and glass of water. The other members of staff was helpfull and very polite also. Halfway through my food manager even walked past and asked if I was okay. Very friendly place and was mega busy. I saw at least 30 people come and go. 👍

D. C.Had an everyday experience at this American diner that would suffice if you enjoy American food and have enough time to wait. We were seen to and seated straight away by the lovely, kind staff who were no issue. We got our drinks and ordered our food where we waited about 40 minutes to receive it. In all fairness it was lunchtime and the school holidays, but the food turned out to be great in the end. No issues, except the wait, and would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

Whilst the staff are still great and the food good, the new way of ordering is pants. It's just become a really expensive Macdonald's. And no Eds club so I couldn't redeem any money from my account to the bill.
One to avoid in the future. Such a shame.

D. S.Had a breakfast there today. It was very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. I've knocked a star off due to the hot water dispenser. For some reason it t will only do one cup at a time and it takes 5 mins until it will do another cups worth. Look into investing in a kettle. 👍👍👍👍

M.The place was nice and so we're the staff but we went on a Saturday and waited 25 mins after ordering to receive our food which was ok but nothing was McDonalds cheap and the eggs on my breakfast were a bit cold and I forgot to ask and received snotty eggs 😕 not a fan. The rest was ok and the burgers did look nice from what I saw as I passed the bar. The bottomless soft drink is a winner also as I shared one with my partner and saved a couple of quid off the bill. They did have lots of sweet stuff to tempt me on the menu but again nothing is cheap nowadays and I passed for the cost reason. Lots of food to enjoy there for everyone, but it is in an area of the Vic centre where there are lots of different food establishments for all tastes and appetites so have a look at the menu first and decide for yourself.
L. C.We were in INTU Nottingham looking for a place to lunch and Ed's Diner was the easiest menu to access and it looked good, worth a try. We were immediately shown to a table by a friendly and helpful waitress named Jayne. I chose Ed's big burger, no sides and hubby chose Ed's big breakfast. We like big and they were. Good, hot and reasonably quick, we enjoyed every mouthful. Drinks are all with free refills. Look for a discount voucher, we got a huge discount and rolled out well happy. Try it!

C. R.A great place to eat, meet friends or go and eat on your own, the staff are very friendly, the menu is vast and the milkshakes are amazing!!!!
They do have a toilet for customers only and it is disabled friendly but a tight squeeze to access due to the narrow gang way and access to the kitchen.
I have forgotten how many times i have been to this branch, I mainly go mid afternoon early evening as it's a lot quieter than at breakfast and lunch.
If you download the Ed's diner app then you will get points each time you visit these can be used to by items from their menu.
I would give this branch a 5/5 If there eating in area was slightly bigger, more space in the gang ways to allow easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs to be side by side or the pass each other without trying to squeeze through then this would be a perfect place for all to enjoy.
p. s.Had to ask for my food to be redone as by the time it got to us it was cold, but second lot was ok.

Didnt seem excessively busy but waited for ever for our food. We did get an apology when it arrived but it would have been nice to have been told at the time we ordered just so we werr aware as our time was limited.
We had drunk our first unlimited drink amd had started on refills.
Food wasnt exactly the same quality what we have had in the past. Chicken was dry and the coleslaw was unappealing with a funmy taste. Unusual for us we both left food on our plate!

N. R.Having never been to Nottingham before we had no idea where to eat. We were in the Victoria Shopping centre and Ed's looked busy, which usually shows either quality food or value for money. The menu was as you would expect of an American style diner. We tried to order Mozzarella Sticks, Classic Hotdog, Big Cheese Burger, famous cheesy chips, waffle fries and 2 refillable drinks. Unfortunately they had no Mozzarella Sticks. We were expecting a long wait as the diner was busy but we were pleasantly surprised the food arrived quickly. The hotdog was just a hotdog, nothing to shout about (the roll was a little dry) the burger arrived with no cheese on it, so the Big Cheese was just Big! Waffles fries were delicious and the famous cheesy fries, I should have just ordered 2 bowls of them....... the cheese sauce on the fries was very tasty and I will definitely order them again. Dessert was a bit of a disaster, I ordered the only thing on the menu that didn't involve chocolate, Vanilla Cheesecake, this too was unavailable. The Nutella and ice cream waffle stack was as you would expect, not very imaginative. The waffle was very grainy. We would have rated the diner higher had they had the food we wanted, the waitress was very loud but friendly and happy. The woman who showed us to our seats needed to use deodorant as the body odour was unpleasant. They do offer a reward scheme but as we don't live in Nottingham we didn't take the diner up on this.

They now do bottomless breakfast EVERYDAY and all their food is made fresh. All food is tasty and well worth it if they add on any waiting times! Me and my partner love it here!!

a. c.We visited an Ed's easy diner in Birmingham,and one in Nottingham,they were completely different in that you paid after at Birmingham and before in Nottingham,the menus were also different,at Nottingham I had the foot long hotdog with chilli and cheese sauce,however the tray it was served on was not warmed up,so my food went cold very quickly,it was nice,but it just didn't taste as nice as the food from the Birmingham restaurant,the staff were friendlier at Birmingham too(although I think they were short staffed at Nottingham,and were trying to keep up with the amount of orders)on the whole well worth a visit.
