Reviews of escabeche
S. N.Lovely atmosphere, with a great offer of tapas and drinks, including wine, sangría, etc. The restaurant has two floors and many tables. I recommend booking in advance, but we did not book and got a spot anyway. The staff was very friendly but I felt that some members lacked training. We ordered a vermouth and the glass was quite less than half full, which is quite different from the "usual". That was quite disappointing.

G. H.Brilliant place to eat, great atmosphere, great food and very pleasant and helpful staff (our waitress was Sophie and she was excellent). Food is very tasty and well presented, not always traditional tapas, but certainly tapas style. Would recommend and I'd go back again.
N. P.Food was OK, definitely declined since last we visited (many years ago). Stand out dishes were ones with quality produce (sounds obvious but some dishes really were average due to quality of ingredients) atmosphere was poor. Terrible live music, felt more like a cafe than a restaurant.

J. C.Menu del dia was a good deal so our group of 4 chose this. We ordered at the same time but the tapas came at different times so some starter plates came after others "main" plates so we didn't really eat together at the same time. My friends finished eating almost before I could start my choices. Most of us enjoyed each plate but the lamb in one of mine had quite a few gristly chewy bits which in a tapas adds up to most of it. Service was pleasant but as the restaurant was busy we had to ask for service more often than is usual. Less good than on previous visits for food and service
P. R.Update:Very nice, but a kittle pricey for some of the portions. For example the french fries, nearly £5 for a very small plate, fels a bit of a rip off.
Precious review:Great experience. I believe there are 2 restaurants in nottingham, which always serve tastey food. This restaurant has very friendly staff, and of course it serves lovely food with a tastey sangria and beers. The sticky chilli beef is one of my favourite dishes. I will definetely be back.

S.This is the only place we eat out at in West Bridgford, we do not get out to much due to my husbands illness so when we do it is a real treat, we managed to get out at the weekend and as always there is nothing to fault while dining out here, food exceptional as ever particularly the Korean cauliflower, the atmosphere and the waitresses, the chefs do an amazing job, I hope they are appreciated for their cooking skills, I think we were served by Eden, she does normally look after us and her customer focus is bar none too, we have booked for our wedding anniversary late January so have something to look forward too.
