Fantastic food, quality service.
First off the corn dog was brilliant, great batter and texture. Cheese was lovely.
Fried chicken wasn't what we were expecting, a bit spicier like Korea fried chicken, was still really good.
Ramen was top notch, for the UK at least. It's not what you'd get in Japan as the taste is different due to the source of the ingredients, really good.
Will definitely be returning again, especially in Winter!

Great staff, nice atmosphere, drinks were delicious and of course the food was amazing. One or two dishes weren't particularly our thing however thats just personal taste and we did practically order everything from the menu! The clay pot was a must have, the pork belly was the best I've ever had!

Food was delicious, very filling and worth every pennie! Passionate people cocktail was lovely too. Staff very friendly and provided great service ☺️

Our meal here was brilliant. The miso mushroom ramen was definitely one of the best ramens I've ever had. Service was excellent and very attentive. Cocktails were great. Prices are nothing crazy, with small plates around £5 and ramens £12-15. Already recommended it to lots of people and looking forward to returning!

First trip to Everyday People and it was absolutely brilliant! The atmosphere of the place was so relaxing, the interior design really created a soothing, chill vibe.
The food was stunning. Had the pumpkin small plate and the lamb ramen and both were just super tasty.
The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
Overall, a brilliant spot, and I'll definitely be visiting again soon.

Firstly, the decor is amazing and ambiance is great. It's a very nice venue for a new restaurant. I've enjoyed Homeboys when at the Streetfood Club so it's taken me a while to get to here.
The welcome was great and we were quickly seated at our table. The menu is simple with small plates and ramen. We arrived during happy hour so thought it would be rude not to partake of a cocktail which arrived promptly (and were very nice indeed).
We ordered a few snacks and the chicken to share with a ramen each for mains. The wasabi peas were very strong which I liked. The ramen was very tasty. We had the mushroom and chicken katsu ones. Recommended.
My only disappointment was the chicken. Unfortunately it wasn't cooked so I returned it. The middle was raw. It was a little embarrassing when asked how the chicken was and then being told it's cooked at a very high temperature so couldn't have been raw (without checking with the kitchen who admitted it wasn't cooked). A bit of a customer service faux pas.
We weren't charged for the chicken as I didn't want another portion. We enjoyed the rest of the meal but felt that the mistake could have been rectified better, especially if it hadn't been noticed and caused illness.

I absolutely adore Everyday People, to the point where it has quickly become my favourite place to eat out in the city centre. The staff, from the chefs to the waiters, are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and their fusion food delights are to die for! Thoroughly recommended!

Visited today and absolutely loved it! We had the pumpkin korroke, corn dog and yuzu chicken ramen. The pumpkin korroke was easily our favourite dish - so moreish. Also, very quick and attentive service! Highly recommend you pay a visit :)

Came here Saturday evening after hearing great things and was not disappointed! My bf and I are vegan and you could definitely tell the vegan dishes were not just some afterthought.
We got two starters to share, the banchan, which was a this beautifully fresh and perfectly spiced Korean cucumber salad, and the mushroom tempura, which is honestly the best tempura dish I have ever had. The batter was so crisp and flavourful, and the miso sauce added such a wonderful umami undertone.
There was only one vegan main, the aubergine parm ramen, so we both got that, but it wasn’t a problem because it was incredible. It was basically this Italian inspired ramen dish, which I wouldn’t necessarily be drawn to, but this fusion dish was executed perfectly. The tomato broth was rich and complimented the delicate aubergine and artichoke so well. I’m not usually a fan of aubergine, but in was so tender and had a deep umami flavour. The tokyo noodles had the perfect bite and went so well with the fresh basil oil. I love ramen dishes and this was truly one the most unique ramens I’ve ever had. The couple sitting beside us were not vegan, but ordered the same dish and were gushing over how much they enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have any vegan friendly desserts available, which is a shame because their desserts sounded so unique. But I do know their menu changes quite frequently, so hopefully it is in their future!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, service and all! Can’t wait to come back and will definitely be telling all our vegan and non vegan friends to check this place out :)

Loved the pumpkin korokke so much, but was otherwise very underwhelmed. Disappointing there’s only 1 vegan ramen. Found it overly umami and lacking depth, wasn’t particularly pleasant to eat. Wish there were more choices. Definitely felt like a very very western take on ramen.

Friendly attentive staff, good explanation on the menu. Good selection of ramen n soup base and specials.
Took slightly long for the ramen to arrive.
We ordered a Yuzu and a shoyu. The pork collar and the chicken are really tender.
The soup base is a little in the salty side.
The price of ramen is comparable to london prices (when we are almost 150miles away).
Did not sample the drinks menu. May be next time.

Second visit last night, food, drinks and service have been spot on both times. I had the beef shin ramen special and it was amazing. Will keep coming back here!

Such a great place. Food is delicious. Everything was so good: Ramen, skewers, bao, cocktails, corn dog. But the staff took it to the next levels and went above and beyond in terms of service. So friendly, helpful. Great stuff 10/10
L. P.
We had the corn ribs, ham hock nuggets with kimchi BBQ sauce (I don't know what's in this but I need it on tap), Korean glaze wings (big, crispy, juicy) and pork belly claypot (smoky, sticky mouthfuls of joy). Seriously great food.
M. R.
Not enough stars to give this place.
The service, absolutely top notch.
The food, delicious and almost revolutionary.
The restaurant, spotless and clean with a great atmosphere.
The prices, very very reasonable for what you're served!!!
10/10

Great food and great cocktails. Looking forward to future menu changes so I can try the new coarses. I recommend sharing everything you order with someone so you can try more of the menu

Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Everyday People. The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be making a return visit in the future. I had the special, an Ox Tongue ramen in a pepper broth, which really impressed me. I was particularly happy to see that they had a regularly changing menu and were using lesser used and under-appreciated cuts of meat. The ambiance was good and our waiter, a chap named Harry, was very friendly and did an excellent job.

Everyday People is emblematic of what makes Nottingham’s food scene special. Take your friends, take your family; impress a stranger.

I've been a huge homeboys fan during their tenure at NSFC and it just hasn't been the same without them. WAs thrilled to see they were planning a restaurant, and am overjoyed that it has opened at last! Didn't make opening weekend unfortunately, but sophomore weekend.
I tried both vegan options and both were amazing. Would love to see more in future, I have full confidence that they will a) happen, and b) knock your socks off.
Boyfriend had mussels, sausage and wings, loved them all.
Although he did say that the aubergines were the star of the show.
Loved the Mikkeller on tap, and the lychee cocktail was lovely. Didn't try any of the natural wines but you know what? I'm coming back so I will get one next time.
Great atmosphere, very attentive and bubbly staff, all round cannot fault it in the slightest.

This place is a revelation. Do not miss out and make sure you have extra people to share all the menu with. You will want to try EVERYTHING.
T. F.
Have visited 3 times now and every time has been brilliant. Next level food with friendly and knowledgeable service. Rotating menu has meant every visit has a new experience. Definitely get the specials, they won't be there long! Looking forward to coming again, hopefully soon!
P. A.
A small, minimalist restaurant serving mainly SE Asian inspired dishes, with small, medium and large plates. The quality of the food is superb, there is a selection of interesting drinks, and the staff are friendly and efficient.
The menu changes frequently - in my visits I've had either rice bowl, katsu curry, or ramen options for large plates, and all have been brilliant.
It will be busy at peak times, so you will probably need to book, but it's well worth the visit.

The food was absolutely incredible, the best ramen I’ve ever had. The service and overall atmosphere was great, and the assistant manager Harry was the most lovely server that looked after use well. The food and drinks are priced very reasonably considering how tasty they are, I can’t wait to return.
R. M.
Delicious meal, great place.
Had the Pork Ramen bowl (forgot the name) and it was great, full of flavour and a decent portion. My partner had the lamb and loved it too but it was too much for her ro finish. Will definitely be returning
M. H.
Love Homeboys and glad they got their own place. Staff were super friendly and drinks were great.
I felt the lamb ramen was tasty but a bit too fatty - especially the sausage which was a bit flavourless and out of place
My partner had the mushroom ramen which was also tasty but a bit too salty
Nice food overall but we felt a tad disappointed considering the menu is so limited
t. f.
The atmosphere made it feel that the food was going to be good, but it turns out to be a disappointment. The corndog and fried chicken as a starter were both really tasty. I could eat the chicken with rice. The ramen was a big letdown! Too expensive, cheap ingredients and too salty. If you want to pay for the atmosphere, this is the place to be.
A. r.
Just simply the best ramen I have ever had (tan tan men for those who want the same)
a. r.
Incredible small plates, oodles of noodles, and sensational cocktails! We had an amazing evening at this beautiful restaurant dining with friends. My pregnant friends enjoyed the incredible mocktails, and the service was impeccable - thank you to Kasia, what a babe! Recommend the tan tan ramen extra spicy 😋
P. Y.
Never thought I’ll order chicken for ramen, tasted a bit herbally but nothing too much that one couldn’t handle. Really good especially with the crispy tangy fried chicken skin bits, chicken was tender and a hint of butter note. The egg, high quality and the noodles slurpy goodness, perfect texture. OUT OF THIS WORLD. Finally a proper ramen shop in Nottingham.
Side note, would be better if they had more options of ramen e.g pork.

Came here three days ago, thought I'd better leave a review as the food was fantastic. Great little place and great atmosphere. The service was swift and efficient. Amazing ramen 👍👍
E. C.
Tasty ramen and delicious craft beer.
T. E.
Absolutely sublime!
Some of the best food I've eaten in Nottingham in a long time.
Everything down to the experience, the service, the price and the atmosphere was spot on.
Pete goes from strengths to strength here and I hope the menu continues to change and evolve so we can keep coming back.
They even have reasonably priced pints on draught. Bravo!
A. H.
Great time out at this restaurant after struggling for a booking to get in for a while! Went with the fam but would say it's more of a 'out with your mates' than 'parents visiting' vibe
All plates we had we're very nice, they had run out of mussels which was a shame.
Make sure you keep space for the ice cream sandwiches, the vegan miso one was particularly scrumptious😋
J. C.
Managed to get a booking for their first official opening night.
So glad we did as the food is everything you would expect from a masterchef finalist.
We could of had one of each from the menu but decided to be sensible.
The cured Salmon is delicious and a sizeable portion.
Ham hock Nuggets came with a Kimchi BBQ Sauce.
Grilled Prawns were fresh and tasty.
The star of the show is the Claypot Rice with BBQ Pork Belly.
A must try if you in the lovely city of Nottingham.
Good luck homeboys & homegirls.

Amazing food, not boring at all, and the cocktails are also very tasty! Would particularly recommend the whipped tofu with cucumber, the lamb, and the fried eggplant 😋
I am looking forward to going back and trying some different things.
j. m.
Really nice food and great staff. Some really nice specials too. Nice spot!

Managed to snag a last minute table thanks to a no show - incredible food throughout, especially the fried aubergine. The kimchi rice shouldn’t work, but really does! All accompanied by great service, a solid drinks list and some great old school hip hop
N. M.
Amazing food, highly recommend their special chicken bun! And special shout-out to the waiter Harry for being such good fun!
S. B.
Food, service, vibe all top notch, great place with a great atmosphere which I'm sure anyone would enjoy. Particularly loved the super enthusiastic staff and the natural wine selection
s. h.
Decent ... nice menu , Asian inspired and interesting. Most of the protein items sold out which was disappointing , so we were just left with the cheeseburger spring rolls, which sounds odd but they were great so turned out well and we will go back for the other items another time :)
Som Tum salad needed chilli and a good Thai kick with more flavour tbh. Overall food and service was excellent and worth a visit .
T. S.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Everyone needs to visit this little place in Nottingham

An absolute must place to eat if your visiting Nottingham and if your not visiting Nottingham then may I suggest you go out your way to visit Nottingham
and visit this most amazing restaurant. The food is absolutely sublime with the most amazing flavours. Everything is freshly made and bought straight to your table by the loveliest waters and waitresses. I would highly recommend Every day People to everyone. I will be back soon. Thank you.
A. P.
Delicious ramen and small plates, just stunning. Service great too.
C. Y.
We were very excited to visit Everyday People with its glowing reviews and having been regulars at Homeboys but it didn't meet expectations on the night. The fried aubergine was the star of the show and the ham hock nuggets were tasty. Sadly the dan dan noodles were far too salty and the pork belly special looked nicer than it tasted. The dishes are also quite variable in size. Overall it was hit and miss with the execution.
W. M.
Amazing ramens 😍

We've been fan of Homeboys for years so when we heard they were opening a restaurant it was a no brainer to drive 1.5hrs to get there. We got every dish available on the menu and it was all incredible, we couldn't decide what we enjoyed most. Already planning the next visit!
