Reviews of Falafel

It was my first time here, it's right on the street but never noticed it .There used to be a subway earlier. Falafels are my new favorite so I was happy to find this place. Not a great interior or anything, very very casual, mostly I saw students visiting.customer service alright, not bad not great- which is good for me.Ordered falafels and hummus, bread was complimentary. Really tasty hummus and falafel's size was good.I will definitely go again...

My boyfriend told me about this place and raved about how nice it was and i finally went there on Saturday. Honestly, i was so impressed! The entire place is veggie which suits us perfectly as veggies, the falafel was the best I've ever had (and I've had some really dry), the salad, the bread, the presentation was all amazing. I told the manager and he was very grateful and really polite. I just thought it was a healthy and delicious place to eat. I'm actually ordering some food from them now. Highly recommend!

First time being at theis place and third time in overall trying Middle Eastern Cuisine. The falafel wraps are of good value for the money based on the portions given. Ordered few wraps and bread and humus, and halloumi fries as well. All the items were worth for the money and was satisfied with the taste as well. The bread and humus were amazing.

Visited a couple of weeks ago with my friend. It was our first time and it's safe to say we are fans!! The food was so delicious. Generous portion sizes. Great value for money. The girls behind the counter were really friendly too. I had a Turkish Falafel wrap and my friend had the Iraqi Falafel mini platter. I could have easily eaten another one. So delicious.
Can't wait to go back!!!

Good food, decent portions, friendly staff.
The falafel was excellent as expected, the chips were a little sad though the wedges were good.
My only real complaint though was that they didn't give me my baklava and I didn't notice until I got home.

Really good food! A good variety of dishes served hot and full of flavour! Some outdoor seating as well as a few indoor window seats, but more of a take away style place. I'll definitely return 😋

The food here is delicious, tasty and very fresh. The falafel were some of the lightest and nicest I've tried, with everything else tasting amazing. Highly recommend trying here as a change of pace from the usual high street food, with generous portion sizes.

Fantastic falafel and pretty good value at £5. Food is always great, but I've been a few times and the service is always pretty slow - despite their being no orders ahead of us, today it took over ten minutes to get our food.

Went here for the first time today. Amazing food. Lots of flavour experiences. We had two different mini platters and two desserts for £18.00. Worth it. And comes with freshly baked bread. Put together with care.

I’ve ordered Palestinian wrap and my wife got the platter. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is okay here in the downtown of Nottingham, but because sometimes the food is pretty cold I could not make it five stars this time.
R. M.
Four stars for the food which is great! If you take away it's fine. If you eat outside it's cold & not great with buses roaring round the corner. Eating inside upstairs is a different matter. The tables are dirty - actually dirty - no regular or effective cleaning. Even the odd wipe down doesn't clear them of food or dirt. Fix that and the place would be 100%!
Great to hear about the upcoming renovation, looking forward to visiting again soon!
J. G.
I really love this place, it's tasty and reasonably priced, a good option for lunch.
The problem is it seems to be a victim of its own success, each time I go the service is slower and slower due to them being busy preparing orders
I'll still keep going though, just try and avoid 12-1pm

Friendly staff, excellent felafel. Had a sandwich along with some mint tea and loved it! Will definitely visit again, soon.

Nice falafel place just opened a few weeks ago. Menu caters for most which includes Middle Eastern desserts like bakhlava and kunefa among others.
Went in for Iranian falafel wrap as I like falafel & humous. Unfortunately they didn’t put any humous in. The two young ladies at the counter were friendly and courteous. The owner came in from the back singing to himself and completely ignored me. I was the only customer in the shop at the time. Not good.
R. B.
Very good experience at Falafel. I had eaten there twice with family and tried the wraps. Food served is good and customer service is nice. Ample space for dining in. Definitely recommend for all vegetarians.
G. S. N.
Loved it. After lots of burger and pizza joints it was refreshing to somewhere new and different to eat at in Nottingham. And somewhere for us vegetarians.
N. H.
Very tasty falafel. Great to be able to eat something different and enjoy the middle eastern vibe. Can recommend.

Update. Visited again the place after my original review….Definitely much better. Tables are cleaned after a customer leaves(no more sticky tables) and feels much nicer place to enjoy you meal. The girls as always are very polite and great with their job.
Food was nice though wraps are a bit pricey to
be fair. They definitely can do better with cleaning. Tables are filthy and not cleaned between customers and floor can be full of trash. I don’t blame the employees as it can be quite busy but owner should look into this

We just stopped for a snack, ordered a wrap thinking it would be a smallish bite - was huge and really tasty! Lemon ice tea was homemade and delicious and the Turkish coffee took us back to beautiful holidays in Turkey! Highly recommended, give it a go!
R. G.
AMAZING falafel. As a huge fan of middle eastern food, this is truly the tastiest falafel I have had. The salad was fresh and the bread was made while I waited. I had to wait around 10 mins but they were pretty busy and understandably why. Well worth the wait. I found it to be clean and the staff were really friendly. Very chilled and just what this city needs. The amount of food you get is more than enough, I couldn't finish the sandwich. The deserts look delicious so ill try them next visit! In conclusion, it was worth the visit and the food is LUSH!
P. B.
Fantastic place had the chips with garlic and cheese and had a Turkish falafel was amazing
B. A.
Great food, middle eastern food , the falafel is delicious. The service in peak hours is slow. But it is worth waiting.

Such great vegan and gluten free falafel!
Only thing I could say is that the outside area could be a little cleaner

Falafel provided delicious food for a recent celebratory event we staged in Mansfield.
The food was truly excellent, delivered promptly and all the Falafel staff we dealt with were delightful and efficient.
We would have no doubts about recommending Falafel.
Thank you so much.

Amazing food and amazing staff. Would recommend

Love the food and service is very good. Don't let the place be spoiled by allowing someone to get away with smoking in your upstairs room.

Lovely tasty restaurant , Nottingham city centre

Very very tasty!! I really enjoy coming here for quick bites to eat; stuffed vine leaves, falafel, falafel wrap. Prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and the store is conveniently located in the heart of Nottingham. It is definitely worth at least taking a look in here.

Good hummus and tsatziki, authentic iraqi falafel. Quite quick service and they have shisha (payment by cash only) for those that do that kind of thing. Was hoping for more iraqi snacks and street food.
A. R.
Incredibly tasty and reasonably priced food, and friendly service. There was with a great selection of veggie and vegan options, which were clearly indicated on the menu. I was also pleased that gluten-free bread was available. Highly recommended.

Fresh And Tasty Falafel, would 100% recommend.
My first order from Falafel Nottingham and definitely won’t be my last.
The Falafels are fresh and very flavoursome, the humous is creamy and tasty and the bread is so soft (was still warm when delivered).
The delivery was quick and all of the food was still hot.
Definitely would recommend the chilli sauce too.
E. M.
The food is very delicious and the staff is very nice. Will always comeback for their FLAFEL

Wow, it's hard to come by this type of amazing food in the middle of England. It was way healthier than the usual meaty options and a lot tastier.
