Absolutely loved it. The food was excellent and service was really good as well. Only couple minor hiccups. No car park but there's plenty of on street parking available. Definitely will recommend sirloin steak combo and bottomless drinks as you gonna need few glasses to go with this very generous portion of the food. Steaks itself was cooked perfectly, exactly as requested. Well done chef. I am bored of restaurants bringing it out cooked to completely different level then requested. Only thing I do not get is why Fanta is constantly out of stock. It was not available when we went there and after checking with fellow food enthusiasts who visited this place it was not available either. Also, the garlic bread, although tasty it's not of a bready type but pizza kind off stuff.

Amazing place to give your tastebuds a feast! Friendly staff and good ambience to enjoy your meal. One of the best places in Nottingham. One would always want to return!! Would recommend Sizzlers and Lamb Chops to start with - top notch!

Great atmosphere and great food. I love the interior. It had this very rustic setup where it felt like you were being seated outside. The food was amazing really. It didn’t take that much time for the food to arrive. The staff were all really friendly.

Came here as family for my daughter birthday for the first time as we just found out it is HALAL. We ordered sirloin steaks and combos chicken butterfly. The food was lovely and cooked perfectly. Farro’s -Nottingham. We parked on the road outside, and it is Pay & Display. The signage outside had some lights out, so we asked when we went in if it actually “Farro’s” & the lovely person on at the front of house assured us we were in the right place. The décor in this place is quite nice, and it is a fairly small restaurant (compared to Farro’s Birmingham) and has a very cosy feel. The service however was immaculate, and the happy chappy on the counter on the counter deserves a medal, politest guy I have met… ever! The drink machine didn’t have Fanta, and the coke ran out on me, most of the straws had holes in the bend so using them was a hassle. There was a strong smell of ‘herbal medicine’ lingering in the restaurant, so either my fellow diners were of a hippy nature of the flat upstairs were having a party, but it was a little off putting. Overall experience was good, sizzlers were divine, and mega large portions. I would say there were a few niggly bits that could do with improving, hence four stars for this visit, perhaps five on the next one, time will tell. Thank You Team Farro’s.

Serving Piri Piri chicken, steaks burgers and pizzas to eat in or take away Farro's is a real find. I am a real Nando's fan and the chicken was as good. The cheesy garlic bread was huge, so definitely one to share. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic even on a cold Tuesday evening. Well worth seeking out.

Lovely welcoming friendly staff and amazing food. Absolutely loved the flavoursome calzone 👌. It was delicious. Never had one as good as this anywhere before. Me and my mum shared it. My brother had a TBone beef steak he enjoyed it with peri peri chips. My kids had lamb steak with peri peri chips and American burger with peri peri chips. Everything was spot on. The strawberry heaven drink was heaven. Loved the food loved the setting nice spaced out tables and most of loved the friendliness of the staff. Keep it up and thank you.

On our latest visit we got a butterfly chicken which was delicious. The flavour was there, portion was great and worth every penny! They also offer student discount which is an additional bonus!

I have been a few times to Farro's and it's always been a great experience. Today, me and my partner both shared a delicious Margherita pizza, definitely our favourite one in Nottingham, super cheesy! :p. I have never written a review before- but this one I just had to! The food was lovely, really admire the pineapple slices in the chicken hawaiian burger! Just for the vegetarians- the chocolate cloud waffles has marshmellows so do ask for it not to be added if you do not want it. To the asian guy that smiled at me despite coming to pay a few times- Hi and you are really welcoming :)

Was my first time there few days ago. Went there as recommended by friends. Top service - friendly staff, and order ready very quick as well! Very delicious lamb and steaks. Pizza for our daughter was not impressive at all but hey, it was free (yes free meal for kid between 4 to 6pm!). My daughter did enjoy her sweet potatoes. And guess parking is available too, although I prefer to park outside as the parking are looks a bit tight and possibly might pose difficulty to manoeuvre your car if the parking is full. All in all, would definitely come again.

Must be place for meat lovers and predators ! At this moment best in town in my opinion, served on sizzling pans with company of crispy sweet potato fries and lovely coleslaw. Meat well matured, fair cut, tender and spiced just at point to highlight natural beef taste. We tried ribeye and sirloin, both medium rare and both amazing. Sauces creamy mushroom and gravy, well balanced to put taste buds in position 👍 Smiling seamless service deliver your choices ordered at till. Desserts heavenly delicious, not oversweet and with fresh fruits, great finish to meal. There is a wide choice of steaks, chickens, pizzas and burgers as well so everyone will find they best. Overall spacious restaurant hidden behind not so fancy entrance, but worthy to discover again and again, will recommend 👍👍

Fantastic place for groups. Good tables if you book ahead and a big menu. First picture shows a hot rock fillet. An uncooked fillet served besides a HOT rock which you can use to the meat exactly how you want it. This is a lot faster and easier than you might think. Definitely worth trying!

Really enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is good, and decor is pleasantly different. They have quite a few different options. The main options being the sizzler steaks and gourmet burgers. If you enjoy burgers, I recommend the Farros special. They have a number of other options also, including starters and some dessert options. It is busy on weekends, so I would recommend booking a table.

This is definitely my favourite restaurant in Nottingham. I go there regularly with my family and sometimes with friends. Our food always arrives quick to the table. The lemon and herb chicken wings are my favourite, so juicy and full of flavour! The atmosphere is so relaxed and happy it's almost like being at home. The staff and the boss are so welcoming and courteous that one feels among friends. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and a pleasant environment!

Must say, pleasantly surprised by this place. Staff are excellent, service with a smile and always checking to see if you need anything. As for the food... amazing. Ordered a chicken butterfly and am used to them being dry to some extent, no matter where I go (excluding nandos, they usually get it right)...this was an exception to the norm though, lovely flavour, well cooked but still moist...perfect. Also have loads of other options on the menu including steaks and gorumet burgers plus plenty of dessert options. Wil be revisiting when I'm next back in Nottingham. Never really write reviews this long but this place deserves it....Well done farros :)

Went at night. The service was exemplary. The service was great the girls kept coming to check on us if we were okay. The restaurant is big with plenty of seating and there’s also rooms if you want to have a more quiet time. The food was incredible and just as I had it the last time I was there. The combination of beef and shrimp in a burger is something I only have at Farro’s and it’s amazing. In terms of drinks they do fabulous mocktails which I was told they make themselves from scratch and not from any bottle. I believe that!

I went last night to celebrate my daughters graduation and this place is amazing. The food is tasty and hot! Customer service is always friendly and polite, they always check if you are ok. Value for money too. The owner says hello and recognises his regulars. If you haven't been then make sure you go and it will end up being one of your favourite places to go to!

visited on a busy Friday the customer service was amazing, the standard of food has not dropped since it first opened. My favourite restaurant in Nottingham I was shocked by customers sitting opposite to us a family of four- actually put hair in the food for a refund. The length some people go to- well done to the manager for dealing with it in such a professional manner. I’ll be back :)

Went there for Takeaway burgers - lamb and beef, the sizzler and Hawaiian! Also had the strawberry and Ferrera Roche cheesecakes which where top noth! Felt fresh and homemade, delicious! Food is good not amazing. HOW can it be improved? Charge less for drinks.. 18 pound steak came with about 130g of cooked rice defo not enough and very expensive. For 18 pound I would expect a big portion of rice.... If the sizzler comes with rice pasta and chips and is the same price??? Surely the steak and rice have alot more rice or chosen side. Steak was decent. Flavour could be improved by using better seasoning.

Went here on way back to bradford, the city/town is a dump so was not expecting much, street parking ticketed but cheap, the place is like a halal nandos without alcohol and does live up to the expectation, family orientated, alot of similar places in bradford but usually food quality is poor but not here, staff member was great with us very helpful great service, decor is nice, even has a small prayer area, , atmosphere was great aumbience, food quality was spot on like nandos. If travelling nearby again would defo visit again.

I saw a picture of their grilled chicken with peppers on my friends post and had to go try it out! I was really happy with my order, it was very spicy and the flavours were amazing. I liked the middle space we sat in, it gave me holiday vibes. The only downside I would say is that the place was really hot, (was around 30 degrees that day though) and the bathrooms could do with refurbishment, more toilet paper and handwash. Otherwise I will definitely visit again from Leicester

Wasn't overly impressed with this place the first time I went there. Food was average, service was average, "unlimited drinks" was just a rip-off. Diluted drinks to the max. This time, post-pandemic however, the staff were just so much more attentive and genuinely so. Their enthusiasm and desire to please seem very genuine and sincere. The food tasted really good and wholesome this time although my chicken had a little too much lemon in it but I can overlook that, the experience overall was very pleasant. Will happily go again.

Love this place. Really like that they don’t serve alcohol and the young ones on dates have somewhere nice to go and eat without drunks ruining their evening. The food is always cooked to perfection in my opinion and they have a good variety. The mock tails are all really tasty too.

Good food. Tried their classic beef burger which was spot on. However, the sirloin steak was dry and not properly seasoned. Could do with some extra butter when nearly ready. They need to work on their exhaust/ventilation system since it was too stuffy. Perhaps get some fans/air coolers. Quite disappointing how we got treated towards the end of the meal. We had three staff members coming back to back asking us if we had finished our meal and if we needed to pack anything despite the fact that we were all eating and travelled over 140 miles for a small family get together. It was so awkward that we left as soon we finished without an argument only to sit down somewhere else. In total we only spent an hour and about 20 minutes.

The food was very nice, we ordered pizzas and peri peri chicken along with some other dishes. I would say the pizzas were freshly cooked and tasted fantastic. The peri peri chicken was nicely cooked very tender and full of flavour and went down a treat. The staff made our stay very welcome, very nice, polite and courteous. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to, consistently very tasty food I’m not from Nottingham and visit often, every time I’ve been to this restaurant, it doesn’t matter what I seem to order, it comes relative quick and really tasty, all for a really good price. Their chicken is so succulent and moist, way better than the Nando’s in my area. The only downside is you might have to book as it gets very busy sometimes, although we’ve never had an issue. Customer service is good too. Keep up the good work!

We hadnt booked a table prior but communication was clear at the start that we had a certain amount of time at the table if we didnt want to wait. Amazing place with fabulous food, cooked well. Went for Ribeye steak with special Farro's marinade, which was tasty. The place had good service and friendly staff. The only minor niggle was that they had an issue with the front door that didn't close itself. Instead of having it fixed, they had a sign up asking customers to close it, which went effective at all. One staff member was having to constantly go and close it whenever a customer arrived or left, which must be irritating for them and kept on bringing in cool breeze all the time! Really nice restaurant this one. A good variety of food from all over the world. I had a cod sizzler, my friend had a beef sizzler. He had piri piri chips, I had sweet potato chips. All of this food was excellent and only a tenner each. Add to that bottomless fizzy drinks for 2.20 and it's not a bad deal. Parking would be an issue which keeps it from getting 5 stars but my friend lives just round the corner so it wasn't a problem for me on this occasion. Service was friendly and fast. Decent toilets and the whole place has a relaxed, airy feel.

Farro's is one of my favourite restaurants in Nottingham. Friendly staff, great food and great prices. It's very laid back and relaxed. If you live in Nottingham you should try them at least. The king prawn starter and lamb chops is my favourite.

Food was awesome, I've knocked a star off due to the fact that the chicken sizzler was not cooked properly and some strips of chicken were raw. They offered to cook it more which was a mediocre response. Secondly the olive oil I requested was actually not olive oil! I had ordered a Cesar salad and wanted to drizzle some.olive oil on top, however they gave me cooking oil and insisted it was olive oil. The main courses were fantastic, I had a faros burger and a half chicken and a margarita pizza which were all fantastic. Lastly I had an espresso which was like water. No taste or depth or flavour to it whatsoever, but I will not knock them down for this as they are not a coffeeshop. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Have been to Farros a fair few times and have never walked out disappointed. I never leave reviews but this is a restaurant I have to leave one for. The staff and management are so friendly. The food is always served hot and well presented. The mix chicken and lamb sizzler! The Farros sizzler calzone and the chicken combo meal. The portions are absolutely huge. I tried the strawberry waffle on my last visit, it was the best waffle I have ever had. Just want to say a massive thank you to the staff and management for the excellent service every time. Keep it up guys. Recommend this place 100%

Greeted warmly by the crews, love the vibes of the restaurant. What caught my attention again was the detail given to the food - where each plate was checked by the staff on a pre serve bench (just like how'd you see in a Michelin Star restaurant). Starters - amazing choices, king prawns were amazing (wish the portions were bigger accordingly due to group of people!) Main - wide range of food, you'll never go wrong with the sizzlers, my all time favourite! Desserts - WAFFLE and COOKIEDOUGH ! All in all, worth your visit and money. One of the best independent restaurants I have visited. Enjoy!

This is a great family restaurant. It was my father’s birthday on Saturday so we thought we would go visit Farros, there were 9 of us altogether and we were welcomed in and made to feel at home. My son is autistic and suffers from social anxiety, when we usually go to restaurants we always expect either a tantrum or an outburst of emotion. During our visit to Farros one of the waitresses took time out to talk to him and made him feel at ease, she also walked him to the drinks dispenser and let him choose his drink and straw which was very nice of her and it really helped us out because after that we no outbursts whatsoever. My wife and I were both surprised and pleased at how the waitress not only took time out for the kids but also my father and wished him a happy birthday. The food at Farros is delicious but that’s to be expected with an establishment of this sort but the level of service is exceptional. Thank you again to the team at Farros from the Rashid Family
