Great food attentive staff in a fabulous atmosphere…..went for a quick dinner 6 people every meal was cooked to perfection will be going there very soon ……. Went for a second time today with friends all loved the experience fantastic food etc …left my wallet by mistake and was saved and I picked it up later “Thank you”

Visited today, been wanting to go since we saw th sign go up! This place does not disappoint. If you want a cheap pub meal then please find a pub that will satisfy your needs. As with Turkish tradition you get bread/olives/dips once seated which are lovely! We could not finish the portions and we are big eaters! The moussaka was delicious and the garlic prawn starter was out of this world. My husband said the calamari starter was the best he's had. Beautiful chilled out vibe inside. Felt so nice to feel slightly closer to Turkey as we cannot get there right now. Will be returning very soon.

Took my daughter for a walk in lunch today, the staff were so friendly & lovely, we ordered & were presented with a basket of delicious bread olives and dips. The main meals were so generous we brought enough home for another meal! Highly recommend and will be heading back in the evening next time with friends..a gem in Arnold with a beautiful interior.

My husband and I isn't from Nottingham, we were visiting my daughter in law and granddaughter, she took us to your restaurant. We enjoyed the tasty platter which shared for 3 adults and a toddler. Only one thing I would love to suggest, could do with more lamb, chicken was tasty but the lamb was even better, when we visit Nottingham again we will definitely come to Istanbul for their delicious food

Having booked a table for 8 well in advance we were shown instantly to our seats. Ordering starters, drinks and mains went well until the staff disappeared for over 30 mins to attend to larger parties and functions. Orders taken for drinks and dessert appeared sporadically and some weren't available though we weren't informed at the time. Either get more staff in to cope and inform people of running late and food choices or we won't be back!

Whilst food was good I think they haven't got to grip with service yet, needs teams in zones looking after customers not running up and down stairs and everywhere, 4 stars for food, 2 stars organisation which means 3 stars overall. I certainly didn't feel like a valued customer

We enjoyed our family visit in Istambul. Food was lovely, and we had sharing platter for 3. We had halloumi and salad and additional fries. Everything been tasty. Guys had Turkish beer. Service and Front of house very pleasant. It's been busy what make me happy at the time of crisis when we need support independent local businesses. We would definitely be back as I didn't had a room for dessert and that's means portions are quite big, or I just have small tummy-boys are everything and huff and puff with being full😂 Thank you, wish you all the best and see you soon.

We visited last night, really enjoyed our meals, staff very efficient...nothing too much trouble. Meal portion sizes excellant, very tasty, authentic.....really enjoyed the appetisers..bread and dips. Menu provided us with plenty of choices..both meat and vegetarian. Reasonable prices. The rumours are all true! I popped in last night to try a takeaway after work, I was greeted by lovely staff and had a drink while I waited for my food to be freshly cooked, the place was packed to capacity on both floors and for good reason, the food was amazing! Very friendly staff, great food, and a lovely upmarket atmosphere, we will be back soon to dine in the restaurant.

Staff were fantastic. Food was really tasty. All seemed very authentic. Would love the option of getting an extra kebab as a side rather than having to pay for a full meal and some more lovely bread when ordering the cold mix starter. Highly recommended the Turkish lemonade and Wonderful Turkish tea served at the end of the meal. Going to Turkey next year so may have to keep coming back to learn a bit of the language

Amazing 10/10! The service was impeccable, staff was a good chat! The waitress accommodated us to our every need, we were a group of 10 and service was very quick. Food was amazing I would recommend the lamb beyti it came with the choice of rice,chips or couscous and came with a portion of salad for the table, all food came out at the same time which many restaurants can’t do when it’s a bigger table. 100% recommend have vegetarian and vegan options too!!!

First try & a very enjoyable time. Friendly staff, we were lucky to be situated near to the entry & thus Amy kept us entertained or was it the other way around! Great food, lively but not overly intrusive surroundings & nothing was to much trouble. Only one minor negative, not all waiters/waitresses wore facial covers correctly. I'd strongly recommend visiting & if you're lucky to have Amy take care of you, you'll need in very safe hands.

I am just waking from my food coma with enough energy to leave a fully deserved five star review. The food is fantastic, the staff are very friendly and fun. I saw many tables get takeaway boxes of their meals, more evidence of the generous portions of food. I highly recommend this restaurant. All those reviews bemoaning the lack of covid procedure need to stay at home if they are that scared. All staff wore masks and were fully compliant with the non-sensical rules 10/10 for this place.

Have been eating out at Turkish restaurants for years… Today was our first time here and unfortunately was disappointed as bread was cold and the main meal (mixed shish) looked like a child’s meal! Not even enough rice!! Very small portions in comparison to the other Turkish restaurants. Don’t even offer you free Turkish tea as we normally get everywhere else so we asked for it…. Wouldn’t go again but the food was nice nevertheless… just lukewarm so not hot enough.. Is it value for money??? Definitely not as was still hungry!!!

We ordered a takeaway from Istanbul in Arnold which was collected by my partner. The Adana kebab and Chicken Wings were delicious and came with a generous portion each of chips and salad. So much food! My partner said the staff were very friendly and he was given a Turkish coffee whilst the food was prepared. I would certainly order from here again and look forward to visiting the restaurant to eat in the near future.

The service was a little scattered and disorganised but the food came out quick. Chicken wings and hot mezze platter were delicious as starters. My chicken shish was tasty but the rice was a little bland. Across the table we had halloumi wraps, a chicken pide and a lamb shank sort of stew which my mum really enjoyed. The food was certainly closer to Turkish takeaway than high-end restaurant food but for something different on a meal out or for some authentic, unpretentious Turkish flavours I would easily recommend.
