Brilliant authentic Caribbean food. So far I have tried the Jerk chicken rice n peas, curry mutton, fried plantain, various patties, and cocobread sandwiches. All have been delicious. Tried a good few Caribbean takeaways in Nottingham and Mama's is highly recommended 👍

Awful reviews from hateful people, went all over Nottingham finding somewhere clean and authentic, my mother and me are fussy particular eaters, we were happy to see all food was well wrapped and clean. At the end of the day, food was great, not as good as my mom's, but I was full

This is a good Caribbean take away, the staff are polite,food is fresh and a good level of hygiene as the facilities are always clean and presentable. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I had many patties goat and beef I've eaten them all so no pictures yet to show, the rest of the food menu looks great but haven't tried yet. So my review comes mainly from the impression their patties had on me and also their jerk chicken coco bread, I definitely can say that they have a recipe passed down generation's.

YES. All fine food wise. Just Slow service with not enough staff. Had to go back after having it delivered by deliveroo. All you got to do guys is have a sense of urgency, be happy, even under pressure. If orders more than an hour late. Something to compensate would be good.

First visit for me here today, mutton soup and curried chicken rice n peas, wow, just wow. There's a 1 star review on here regarding being white and ignored, I'm white and the the shop had a few none white guys in there, I felt no problem at all, even had a nice chat with the chefs as they used to work at a different shop I used to use... Luck for me I'm working 2 mins away so I'll be eating there daily..

Food taste fine just not much in it. I had ackee saltish but I found it hard to taste the fish because there was nowt in it.I know cod is not cheap but come on bit more fish!!!

The food was nice enough, I ordered through Just Eat and a lady at the restaurant called me to let me know that one of my orders wasn't available. She was friendly and told me what she could replace it with, not sure why other reviews mention the staff being rude?!
