Real Hong Kong style dim sum and foods, delicious and look really nice, sure will go again.
s. w.
Very friendly staff and the food was delicious with generous portion sizes.
The interior is quite modern and very clean.
Highly recommend
M. N.
A very tasty meal in a relaxed and nice environment/atmosphere. The staff are helpful but not overbearing. I didn't feel rushed which is important when dining alone when away on business.
H. Y.
Man's restaurant serves a good selection of dim sum and Chinese dishes which has a larger portion than normal. The food is extremely delicious. This restaurant was formally known as China China. The staffs are friendly and has a nice interior. It can be a venue for weddings.
S.
slightly pricey, but good Chinese food and pretty big portion sizes.
S. K.
Amazing place for dimsum with family and friends. Great food and selection of dim sums. Service is quite variable depending on customer load, don't say you've not been warned.
M. E.
We had a coeliac in our party, some of the servers were less than careful about which dishes they served were gluten free. 'I think it's gluten free' isn't good enough 😕
D. W.
Have as neat as a pin !
By contrast other,Customer service was alright.
Chinese Culture from here you cant asking more better as they all have pigeon eye.
Very reasonable prices & great food.
J. D.
It is an authentic dim sum restaurant but for a Chinese person, it could be better. I would recommend fried squid and Har Gao. But not the porridge, I was very disappointed by the porridge. Not the best in Nottingham but considered to above average for UK Chinese restaurant. Personally, I will go to another restaurant for Dim Sum in Nottingham.
D. H.
Pretty good restaurant, most of the dishes we pick were very good, but noodle dish has got smaller than last time, most dim sum were good.
N. S.
We went here with my brother and I was dubious as we don’t normally like Chinese food but we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the set lunch menu excellent value and service perfect. I even managed to use chopsticks.
Edited after a second visit. We had the set meals, my wife and I having the vegetarian set meal and my brother and his wife set meal A. The meal was absolutely stunning, in all honesty one of the best we’ve had. The profusion of dishes was amazing and the quality fantastic. We’re already planning a repeat visit.
D. C.
Best place for authentic Chinese dim sum. Hong Kong style egg tarts are amazing!
D. H.
Pretty good chinese food most of the time but a little pricey with add on for tea and special days.
Y. P.
The place looks fancy and the food was good
M. M.
Fantastic superb quality. No stomach ache! However, sitting space is not very generous.
a. c.
Lovely meal, service great, friendly staff. Fantastic,
D. T.
An authentic dim sum restaurant. The food was tasty. Staff were okay.
J. L.
Fried dim sum was overcooked and yet somehow only warm. Tables are situated in an awkward way (2 chairs on one side of a round table) which creates a weird unwelcoming atmosphere (never thought I would ever comment on seating arrangements). Service was okay, steamed dim sum was good.
L. N.
Came with a large group for work, with a pre arranged menu. Staff were attentive and handled or large group well. All food came out hot and delicious, which can't have been easy for the kitchen. Would recommend.
C. L. M. W.
Food are awesome here. Friendly Staff and the food were so good. Good atmosphere here as well. Definitely will come here soon.
G. X.
The food was super great and not expensive.

Good place to have chinese food in Nottingham
R. B.
wife took me after 25 years since she visited but we loved it. had the set meal for £33 each was very good.
J. C.
Lost some of its original charm, very empty for a Friday night, hope they can improve back to it's original levels. The wollaton restaurant is still so good.
M. M.
Was looking for a bite to eat after arriving from a long international flight. Saw a sign walking from my hotel for Dim Sum and Red Wine which delighted me. Ordered the crispy duck, a bunch of assorted dim sum, and of course some red wine. Food was high quality and fresh, and the wine selection was extensive. It was pretty busy but the service was very attentive. If I lived in Nottingham, I would go here regularly
T. D.
Had Dim Sum menu for lunch. Very good food quality, all fresh tasting, not frozen dim sum like some places. Certainly the best Dim Sum in Nottingham. Staff were very efficient, although one of my dim sum dishes was forgotten about and I had to ask again for it. I’d also have liked to have been brought some dipping soy for the steamed dim sum. But these are minor points. I’d certainly go back and it was all fairly priced as well.
N. Y. T.
Nicely decorated and good was enjoyable. Location is in the city center and price point was competitive. Even on one of the hottest days, and busiest days, the room was cool.
J. g.
Food was good really enjoyed it, service also good, very pleasant, drinks flat asked for baccardi defo was'nt. Would still return though.
N. S.
Absolutely delicious food. The best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. Lovely inside and friendly service.
We had four drinks between us as a couple, three starters and four mains - the whole thing came to £61! Bargain!!
Best crispy spring rolls I’ve ever eaten - satay chicken beautiful and then fabulous crispy fried beef and much more.
Will definitely return here and highly recommend it.
W. B.
The food is lovely, just as good as I tasted in HK & Beijing. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly in good surroundings.
M. M.
We visited this restaurant specifically for the dim sum as it was my mum's 70th birthday. How delicious was the food!!! It was amazing.
It also looks so classy inside and even my mum commented on how nice the toilets were. My mother was originally from Singapore so is a very good judge of how good the dim sum is and she said it was delicious!
k. r.
Wow and wonderful to say simply. One of the best dim sum bars around Nottingham City centre. There are lots of things to tryout ranking from veg to meat. We went for lunch and ordered different kinds of dumplings and some noodle kind of mains and sole rolls everything is awesome. It's best to tryout different tapas by sharing if you are with a group. They have good choice of drinks as well.
B. S.
We had Sum Dim and it was lovely, we had the deep fried squid paste for the first time, it was very nice. We tried the pork puff and the fried dough Cheung Fun, they were lovely too.
This has to be the best place for Dim Sum in Nottingham city centre. It's popular with Chinese nationals too, that's always a good sign.
S. H.
Great food, service slow. I'd heard good things about this restaurant so wanted to try the famous dim sum. We arrived at 5pm to be told the chef was having a break. Finally got served at 6pm with starters. And another 30 mins for the mains. Also restaurant was very cold near the windows.
B. C.
Still a limited Chinese menu, however the dishes we chosen were of a good standard.
F. P.
Absolutely first class. Mid range price wise.
Food was fresh and tasty. Best lemon chicken ever!!!plenty of fellow country men which is a good sign.
Generous portions as much as you can eat.

Went here 29th Dec lunchtime for my birthday with 11 friends for dim sum. The food and service was amazing and the price was very reasonable. Everyone left full and very happy, would recommend highly.
D. H.
Great food, lovely ambience, very pleasant staff.
E. J.
everyone does love a bit off Chinese don't theyyy lol.
the food was very nice however I did think that it was a bit pricey
S. P.
The food was great but really small portions. The staff wasn’t so great. It was very nice atmosphere but wish it was worth it. Very pricey and would love it if they would have better service. It’s a 3 star for me.
M. J.
Absolutely beautiful food!! Makes me hungry Just thinking about it.
Staff are friendly and good at remembering your order - in our group there were 6 and they remembered it all.
M. H.
Really nice service and good quality dim sum. Lots of people here which proves that the food is great. A real nice community atmosphere. Great value and quality. Just a fantastic day out.
S. L.
Not very forgiving if you have specific dietary needs. They supplied noodles instead of rice (at a charge of £1 extra - not a great problem) but only when really pushed to do so. The waitress told me off for not wanting rice on the lunchtime set menu and the telling off was unappreciated! The noodles came out late.
So, lovely food if you are able to comply 100%.
W. Y.
A pretty good place for decent dimsum, best still at a good price.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is really good and the customer service is fantastic.
Only reason not a 5 star yet is because I feel that the food could be better. Saying that, I have high requirements for my food 😬
P. O.
Chinese cuisine is amongst my favourites and a great choice for our mums' night out with the mums of my daughters' school year.
Staff was friendly and very accomodating with our large group of cheerful mums. I will definately visit again.
M. C.
First visit to this restaurant it was a very relaxing meal with great food at a reasonable price in a very nice atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly, we were not rushed which made the meal better. We will definitely be making a return visit.
C. N.
Came here with my friend and her mum for dinner. Best Hong Kong-style food in England so far with good ambience in the restaurant. Unlike those restaurants in London Chinatown, the staff and the level of comfort here are much much better.
N. G.
You can tell that this is a great Chinese restaurant by the number of Chinese people who eat here. I'd recommend booking and going in the daytime so you can try the dim sum menu, i think this is only served between upto 4pm, so get there early, it's all cooked fresh to order.
S. F.
Visited this restaurant with my wife for the first time as it was recommended by some friends, the food was outstanding, but service was a big let down. I was expecting a higher standard as it was so highly recommended. Cannot fault the food though, it made up for the service shortfall.
“Try the Salt and Chilly Squid”

I went with a colleague from Beijing, and her son. Was guided through the menu brilliantly. The food was authentic, and good value. Service was good, and the staff were happy for us to stay as long as we wanted.
D. P.
Friendly staff, high quality food and quick service. Definitely worth going and try it you will love it 10/10 for sure best Cantonese food restaurant in Nottingham for sure ⭐️🌟⭐️
S. F.
We went in on the off chance. Staff extremely helpful especially as I'm in a wheelchair the entrance is level to the pavement.Food was fantastic. The manager also went above and beyond when we left as it pored like a monsoon and he sheltered me as best he could as my husband helped me into the car
C. D.
Good food. Super friendly staff...must be good as there were plenty of locals dining. Would definitely recommend it
T. P.
It's a nice place to be and with good food. Staff can be either pleasent or rude and the prices are slightly steep for the dimsum and tea. The main meals are better value however. Make sure you go with Chinese people to avoid the language barrier and getting larger bill then expected ;)
H. G.
Best dim sum I've tried - 1 item on the menu actually means 3 dumplings... we ordered way too much.
G. J.
Very nice lunch from the lunchtime special menu. £8 for two courses. Quick service made it an ideal place. Nice decor and pleasant atmosphere.
M. P.
Great dim sum food, but a real shame that they eater down their soft drinks. The Diet Coke is see-through and not a good flavour.
P. V. K.
Great selection of dim sum! Also enjoyed the sesame rolls and Singapore rice vermicelli, which tasted extremely fresh. Highly recommended.
D. N.
Amazing dim sum lunch :) took me back to dim sum restaurants of Hong Kong
W. X.
We love going there for dim sums on the weekend! Good value for money and the selections are quite good. Parking is slightly a bit difficult though as the restaurant is right in the centre of the city.
J.
All covid rules adhered to so felt very safe in restuarant and with any of our the staff serving etc.
Meal absoultly beautiful and staff all very attentive to any of our needs when we needed them.

Excellent food and service, easily the best Chinese cuisine in Nottingham, if a little on the expensive side.

Authentic Chinese dim sum and dinner. Great place for group dinner, banquet, dinner party, function etc. Normally packed on Saturday so need to either book or come early.

(Translated) Overall, a Chinese restaurant that specializes in Cantonese cuisine.
Overall the food is very tasty. Some food tastes even better than local Chinese restaurants in China.
The downsides are that it is a bit expensive (I ate a lot, but it came out to about £85 for 3 people), the rice is a bit tough, and most Chinese restaurants charge for tea for two (about £3.6 per person based on Puer tea). However, it is a restaurant that can cover all of these with taste. John taste in Korean
