J. L.We came here originally on Thursday. But they were closed. Serves me right for not paying attention to the opening hours on Google Maps. Luckily, Nottingham is pretty small that coming back the next day was no issue. The food here is on par with and even better, in some cases, than dim sum restaurants in Canada (Downtown Toronto, Scarborough). We ordered 8 dishes for a family of three and was satisfied with the portion sizes. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for quality dim sum.

A bit disappointed that the food was only on average, dish and dim sum size were small.

C. C.Absolutely the authentic taste of old Hong Kong and we all miss it so much!! The dim sum are scrumptious and we particularly like their barbecued pork crisp, egg tart and shrimp dumpling. Most impressive dishes are roasted duck, fried stuffed three treasure (煎釀三寶), sweet and sour pork and stir fried rice noodles with beef.
J.Excellent traditional Hong Kong cuisine, serves best-in-town dim sum and freshly made pastries. Excellent main dishes during the night. Food quality is unchallenged among similar restaurants in Nottingham. Competitive even compared with restaurants back in HK.
Price is slightly higher but absolutely worth it, evens out easily when eating with friends.
Some items need to be reserved as they are served with limited amount every day: braised duck, special pastries etc.
Predominately Hong Kong customers, perfect atmosphere for those who are homesick!
M. B.Great Dimsum menu but we had to explicitly ask for that separately after only being offered the main dinner menu.
After we finished we were going to have a pudding but the staff all ignored us and the plates were left on the table for about 20 mins with our glasses empty. No real problem, but by then we’d gone past wanting a 3rd course so got the bill and went elsewhere for another drink. Food was good and tasty and quick to arrive.

F. K.I have eaten at over 50 Chinese restaurants in the UK by now and this one definitely is the best so far. The dim sum is very authentic Hong Kong style and cooking and surprisingly good. Rarely will I come across a Chinese restaurant in the UK that make the rice roll with outside wrapping so thin, soft and succulent. The congee with preserved egg and meat my favorite too.
I live far from Nottingham but I surely will go there again when I come anywhere near it in the future.

N. M.Clean, modern restaurant with traditional elements to the decor. Unquestionably it's the staff who's praises have to be sung the loudest here. The food is clean not greasy or oily and certainly no hint of msg with any salty pangs. Stand out dishes were the crispy beef and sweet and sour fish. However, everything on our table was finished and well enjoyed. Would certainly return and possibly try the lobster which looked delicious.

Spinning part on top of table let us share food well. Location is town and so some street parking nearby. But limited to some extent. We had a set meal. Was nice. Chilli tofu and aubergine mains were nice. The starter of mixed veg with lettuce was good too.

Decor is just ok but it's the food that matters and quite frankly they are amongst the best.

J. D.Very very authentic Cantonese Dim Sum. The owner is from Hong Kong. Very busy all the time. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK for Chinese. It is the best place to go for Dim Sum in Nottingham. I will recommend the porridge and Har Gao. The atmosphere is really good, you will feel like you are in HK. Chinese restaurant for Asians.

A.This is the best Chinese I've ever had. The service is great and the staff are so friendly. They remember you as well if you revisit (maybe we eat here too much).
Would recommend the Cantonese style chicken. I know it's not an adventurous dish but it's the best you'll ever have.

m. “.Had an 8pm booking on a Friday night, originally booked with the assumption myself and 7 others would be going for Dim Sum only to find out that this was only available until 4:30.
Our sudden dissapointment was quickly alleviated by the wonderful service from the staff (whom I believe may have been the owners of the restaurant). They were very accommodating helping a group of fairly indecisive diners pick a number of starters and main courses - which we all loved.
Although I'd put their night time menu more in the bracket of an anglicised Chinese restaurant, all the food was delicious and the quality of the ingredients spoke for themselves. Particularly have to recommend the crispy beef and any of the "Salt and Pepper" options.
I'll definitely be returning, most likely to try their Dim Sum - which certainly looks like they have all authentic areas covered.

C. W.Good dim sum but some things were better than others. Recommend the beef cheung fun. We ordered the crispy duck instead of the chinese duck by accident but they didnt even offer a free drink or even better to swap the duck. Not the best customer service.
N. R.Spent another Saturday lunchtime at the Mandarin restaurant trying their multiple selection of dim-sum and also the rice and noodle dishes. Very authentic and nearly as good (but not quite) as what we get back home in Hong Kong, and in my view, better than London's Chinatown' offerings. Friendly atmosphere, freshly cooked food, fast service and a reasonable price make this a great place to visit with family and friends.

K. T. W. H.Finally one dim sum place that reminds me the authentic taste of Hong Kong -- the origin of Canton dim sum. Dumplings (like har gou aka shrimp dumplings, scallop w/ spinach or shrimp w/ chives etc) from other Chinese restaurants here are usually quite mashy and lack of a sense of delicacy. But this one isn't. Nicely pleaded, fresh, fine fillings. Their chiu chou dumplings are a pleasant surprise if you fancy something on the traditional end. Dinner dish not overly salty, which is quite uncommon in the UK. We are regulars now.
