C. N.Please don’t miss this restaurant if you are ever in Nottingham. My brother took my wife and I to lunch and the food and service was fantastic. Our server Selina and the wine waitress Shy are the nicest people you could ever meet. My brother loved the Lyonnaise soup followed by rump steak with Stilton sauce and cheese platter for desert. My wife enjoyed the brie fondue followed by Chicken supreme and profiteroles for desert. I had the same starter as my wife followed by duck and also profiteroles for desert. Everything was delicious, good portions and beautifully presented. House red, Michel Servin complimented everything. My wife also had a glass of white. Cappuccinos all round complimented desert. The ambiance is lovely and the view of King Street from above enchanting. Exceptional restaurant in every way. Staircase to enter from exchange walk is easy but is a few steps and no elevator.
A. P.Mixed quality of service with average food. The ham hock terrine starter was tasting but a ridiculously sized portion. Duck main made me glad I filled up on the ham hock.
P. P.It’s located very close to Victoria center at Kings Walk. It’s in a beautiful historical building so you have different sitting area. We were seated next to the window and the service staff lead by Francis and Celine is really nice and friendly! The food is freshly prepared, well presented and delicious!
Only down side is the French fries… would prefer them using hand cut 🥔 would be perfect.
Overall it’s really lovely to enjoy the hospitality of dining out.
They offer 1,2 & 3 courses at very reasonable price and well worth to give it a try if you around town center!
J. A.We (2) were ' walk ins' for lunch on a Wednesday. Place was quite busy. We were made welcome. Service was prompt and pleasant. Food was served promptly it was hot, fresh made and very tasty. Coffee to follow. (They weren't able to offer other than full fat milk and had no decaff coffee to offer)
They currently are adding 10% surcharge to menu prices to cover ingredient inflation. They will remove this if asked. Gratuities are on top.

G. B.Not been here for years. Can not praise the attentive staff for their service enough. And the rump steak was fantastic. A mixed group of customers and was sat in a small back room, which initially thought was going to be quiet, too quiet but it wasn't. Enjoyable evening.
S. R.So I went on a Tuesday night. It was very quite. But it shouldn't be. The food was excellent, I mean really good. The staff were also amazing, staff to customer ratio when I was in was 5 to 1 but all of them were great. Yes they were all young and had been taught to be attentive but at no point was it over bearing. I don't want to sound patronising but that's a hard thing to do without experience. It's also upstairs which is always weird for a restaurant but it was really nice nevertheless.

We were served by a fabulous waiter named Lorenzo. The whole experience was tremendous, the food was out of this world, nice wine and friendly staff.

S. B.A lovely little restaurant with a very warm welcome and speedy service. The food was absolutely delicious with good portion size and lovely presentation. I would of scored it 5 if it were not for two points... 1 ) the pervading smell of cooking fat that was a little unpleasant 2) the extra 10% they now charge that goes directly to them so you still need to tip separately if you want to reward staff , so can get pricey.
P. C. I.Had dinner this evening with old school friends after a 50 year gap. The food served was excellent, nice helpful friendly staff and we all agreed choosing this restaurant was a good idea. Only criticism would be that coffee after the meal was not offered. Everyone agreed that they had enjoyed their chosen dish particularly the beef Bourgignon .

m. c.We went on a Wednesday for the vegan menu and the choice was great- at least 3 or 4 options each for a starter, main and dessert. I ordered beignets, burger and a brownie. All of these were delicious! Definitely recommend the burger. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the service was pretty slow. The ambience has that sort of vibe though, a relaxed atmosphere, nice music etc. Just had to be somewhere else and didn't expect it to take 2 and a half hours in total! I would book here like we did before, but next time make sure I have no other arrangements in the evening.

The food came out at the right time, the prices were incredibly reasonable and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is relaxed with smooth jazz and French cafe music playing. I wish I lived nearer because I would visit this restaurant regularly. It's independently owned and sums up everything that I love about the restaurant trade; friendly, attentive staff, delightful food and great prices. Long may they last!

Its easy to follow the heating instructions and you can not tell any difference at all.
Its very reasonably priced, there is a huge selection and the portions are more than ample.
When you are in a rush and want good food, but with little time, this is food perfection.
Id like more delivery times in the month, but that just because I love the food itself and cant wait for another. Im considering buying a bigger freezer, so that I can try the whole range.

D.The restaurant and service were good i started with the salmon with was very nice.. my wife had a baked camembert that was so got it had split not enough to send back although here first drink was exchanged because that was not nice with they did with no bother or fuss.. second course I had chicken supreme which was very salty and my wife the seed bass that was tasteless without any sort of meaningful seasoning.. again not enough to moan to much about so we moved onto the puddings.. we ordered the profiteroles and a sticky toffee pudding the profiteroles were OK but instead of cream it was served with ice cream.. the stick toffee pudding was burnt and neither sticky (or if you took the bought in toffee sprinkles off the top) toffee a basic sponge served with ice cream that was refunded with no fuss.. I would say if we had complained about anything I would assume we would of been sorted out with either replacement food or a refund but to us its about feeling relaxed and if you are forever complaining about the little things it simply detracts from an otherwise good environment..

J. S.Really good food in a generally welcoming environment. Reasonably priced for the quality - 2 courses, sides for two people and a bottle of wine for less than £100. The portion sizes were good and we both left very full.
Waiting staff were quite attentive, though we had different people at different times through the night, which means the service wasn't quite the standard I might expect if we had had only one waiter/ess for the night.
The place was also far too hot - it's a small space and the heating being on meant that I was overheating quite soon after I had sat down.
The maitre d' was very welcoming and helpful.
A great night overall, with only a star dropped for the uncomfortably hot space. Thank you, Petit Paris!

This restaurant has a French flavour and options but don't expect haute cuisine ( two green beans a mouthful of meat and a smear of sauce) - in my opinion it's much better than that. Decent portions of good, tasty food served by exceptional staff at a very reasonable price.

D. R.I have been to Petit Paris a lot in the past and it is one of the few places we still go to to enjoy a really good meal out. However, it definitely feels like there has been a change of chefs as the Fillet steak I ordered was not up to it usual high standard. Whilst I understand that these are currently difficult times for the hospitality industry, I am disappointed that standards have slipped and don't feel like I will go back in a hurry. I would like to point out that our waitress was amazing and I can't complain about value for money as we used a deal, however Petit Paris is not what it once was.

L.Really lovely place. Whenever we visit Nottingham, this is where we eat. Don't think we have ever had a bad meal there. Always tasty. Hard to choose the dishes because they all sound good and I think whatever you chose would be delicious.

F. S.The hygiene standards due to COVID-19 were high. The staff were great and food was OK. Soup was too hot with no warning. Price was matching the quality of food. Please consider that there are two types of Value Added Tax extra to all the prices you see on the menu. So whatever you see, add about 30%. So our bill was 41, we paid 58.
G. F.Food was OK, nothing really wrong with it, but nor was it brilliantly executed (not amazing produce used, bit overcooked, not well seasoned).
Service was fine but not particularly brilliant, got forgotten once or twice.
In summary, its alright - neither expensive nor cheap, just utterly devoid of the charm I remember it with.
Will be trying their new effort across town when it opens, see if they sent their A-team there.

A.An overall average experience. Menu indicated that 2 courses were £14.95, though upon visiting we were charged the full amount per course.
Portion size seems largely dependant on what you order.
The size of the room forces some really close knit dining with other revellers. It makes for quite a loud experience and to be uncomfortably close to other diners, very little expectation of a private conversation over dinner.

Food was great, best was beef bourguignon and the tartiflette, not so much the tagliatelle.

After we had done the 'Track & Trace' we were taken to our seats, which I was pleased to see were quite a few meters from other tables. The restuarant was lovely and airy. The menu was very pleasing for me, whole meal was absolutely delicious, I decided to have a french dessert, pain D'epice, which was a lovely zesty, spiced ftuit cake which was served with caramel sauce & a scoop of rum & raisin ice crream, it was lovely. I hadn't had this before but will definitely partake again if I have the opportunity.
The meal was a very good choice, our first visit but will not be the last. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The person who delivered our order earlier in the evening was so friendly and prompt. Love the fact that you can order these well ahead of time and put them in the freezer if needed.
The food exceeded our expectations it was so tasty. We had rich, delicious beef bourguignon, slow cooked pork belly, plentiful sides of mash (how do you make mash so damn tasty?!), as well as cheesecake and brownie (which was so much more than it sounds on paper) as well as a bottle of red. All that and delivery for £35 - brilliant value. Our suggestion would be to add more sides as we’d probably have spent more and ordered more veg if there had been more options. We can’t wait to visit when you reopen but until then we can’t wait to use the at home service again! No photos as we were too quick to eat it as it smelt so good cooking!

V. K.Authentic French experience. Luckily we went when it was very quiet during the beginning of January and we managed to eat a two course meal in less than an hour. The staff is so friendly and kind, the atmosphere is very intimate with lovely jazz music. The chicken was cooked to perfection with crispy skin, my partner had the sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce which was also amazing. Unfortunately there was no Creme Brulee but the desserts we were offered were equally good. Really good experience. Would definitely visit again. 10/10

M. H.A lovely dining experience. The food was spot on. Served on hot plates, which is a must, the starter arrived piping hot. My husband and I had escargot which I would definitely recommend. As we visited on a Sunday lunch time, we decided to have their Sunday lunch. My husband had beef which was served rare as he requested. I had the pork which was very succulent. I have only one minor issue with Petit Paris, they don't answer the phone. As we were held up in traffic due to roads being closed off in Nottingham, we were an hour late. I rang them 19 times, not one call was answered. When we arrived we were told our table had been cancelled. All fine in the end though. As I said, the food was delicious and I would recommend this as a good dining venue. Just don't try to phone them. :-)

The pre theatre deal is fantastic value and the food was cooked to a high standard with beautiful seasoning. The service was genuinely friendly. N. B.A nice and busy restaurant that with some attention to detail could be very good. Menu is good and essentially French. Quality a bit inconsistent, my first course was crab, it was awful, soggy and tasteless. Others with me had camembert tarts which looked good and they enjoyed. For a main I had lamb and that was very enjoyable as was my dessert.
The prices are reasonable, it cost around £40 per head for three courses including wine. Without wine it would be about £28 per head depending on one's choices.
Use of cheap paper napkins and cheap glassware gives the place a down-market feel that does not do justice to the food.
The bar service was very slow, we had finished our first course before the wine had arrived. The house red is cheap plonk, not nice. With improved consistency of cooking and some attention to details of service this restaurant could be very good. At the price it is good value and despite its shortcomings I would use it again

We popped in at the end of the lunch sitting and used a Groupon voucher. The food was delicious but we had to wait ages for dessert... classically French then! We'd still recommend it and would definitely go again - the pigeon breast salad was delicious!

They made a mistake by not giving me the children's menu at the start so I got my daughter some sides off the main menu and then at the end without even being told they said they are sorry and only charged us child prices for her, so that was a bonus as she enjoyed the food anyway. Everything was cooked perfectly and all came out hot. Would highly reccomend, also very fairly priced.

C. J.A busy restaurant where the food is good - I guess that's why it's always busy. The tables are generally closely packed together so it can be noisy. Also pay close attention to the menu regarding what you get with your meal. We discovered you have to pay extra for vegetables and sauces. It is always much better when you get 'free' and copious veg supplied even if it means adding 50p to the menu cost. Francisco was amazing and really went the extra mile to make sure our experience was first class. The room hire was of no cost, they opened early for us, we paid £50 for decorations and were over the moon to find the room with candles, balloons and fresh white roses it looked amazing! We found the service professional, prompt and sensitive. The food was delicious and lots of choice for vegans, vegetarians. We had initially booked the room from 4:30-8:30pm but ended up staying till around 10pm at no extra cost. We would highly recommend FIVE STARS!

I must say that all the food I have eaten there has been delicious and it's not too expensive.
I started with the Cheese tart, typically French and lovely. I then had the slow cooked Beef Bourginion, what can I say except that was the nicest, tastiest beef that I have ever had. I ended up having the Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla icecream, well you've got to, haven't you? A bit too rich for my taste but enjoyed it all the same.
Staff were great, naturally friendly and helpful.
Atmosphere very good, clean and welcoming. A few people with children ( it was lunchtime), lucky children to have been taken there.
Petit Paris change their menu around, I thank them for that because if you go regularly, it's good to have different choices.
Well done Petit Paris, I shall be going again if you maintain the quality and quantity of the food served by your good staff.
Don't forget to book first, lots of people turned away, it's so popular.
Only downside I found was that if you can't manage stairs, this isn't the place for you, lots of them!

They have an early evening menu which is great if you are going to the theatre or concert hall as they are just 3 minutes walk away. You do have to order vegetables separately as they aren't usually included booking at the weekend is essential as it gets very busy. It is located upstairs so not very easy accessible for some diners.
