The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the dining area was lovely with lots of great art on the walls. I had the Fishy Tacos and Doner fries, they were perfect. And they had a chocolate orange cake that was a great way to end a meal. This was great food and a great experience! Check it out, for sure.

We come here with my non-veg friend every March when she is vegan for a month for Her beliefs and we always leave happy and satisfied. The foos is absolutely gorgeous and so tasty. The prices are a bit too much I guess it is what you get for everything fresh and prepared in the kitchen in front of you. Despite the service being a bit slow, the ambiance and the staff being so nice make up for it!

Unbelievable food! Some of the tastiest vegan options we've had. Staff were super friendly and made us a special dessert which was the size of our heads 😂. My boyfriend had the "devil's avocado burger" and I had the "Holy Smokes" burger...both of which were delicious. The garlic fries were VERY garlicky- just how I like 'em. Thanks again guys!

Absolutely sensational! Cute little cafe just a short walk from the city centre. A little bit of a wait for food because it's a very small team and kitchen, but absolutely worth the wait for fresh delicious food and sweet service. Great for a chilled, cosy long lunch with coffee and cake. ✨

I'd neglected the Pear since before lockdown and what a mistake this was. So much did I regret this, I ended up going two days in a row. Breakfast was great, with portions just right and packed with some gutsy flavour. Great to get a more inventive vegan breakfast than sausage, beans and hash browns. Tofu scramble with avo and bangers was great! Staff are friendly, chilled and clearly dedicated. The cafe is small but always busy when I've gone, and there's a great vibe and clearly thr place attracts a clientele that's as diverse as the menu options. Special mention of the Biscoff Millionaire Shortbread, which was divine, sent my blood glucose soaring, and remind me that I can be an indulgent vegan but often a bad diabetic at the same time:) Absolutely top notch.

The experience at Prickly Pear was so good we've already booked to go back. The food is all cooked to order and so fresh. The only difficulty is choosing what to have! I had the biscoff and hobnob milkshake, Aztec, and Chipotle Fries, followed a little later with a Golden Tumeric Latte. The ambience is laid back and the staff are friendly. We were never made to feel rushed at all as we got there at 6.30pm and didn't leave till much later. Thank you for a lovely evening Prickly Pear. Looking forward to next time to try the Christmas Menu.

Had a meal with a pal here today, where we each had our own smoothies and shared 3 dishes: buffalo cauliflower wings, garlic fries and the fishy tacos. Lovely food, the food did take quite a while to come (around an hour) which was surprising considering that its quite a small restaurant. Nevertheless, had a lovely time there.

Absolutely delicious vegan food! We come here regularly and it never disappoints. Staff are incredibly friendly and patient with kids. Makes you feel relaxed and very welcome. Can't wait to come back soon!

Went for an alternative lunch with my daughter. The staff were super friendly and happy to squeeze us in despite being very busy. The food that was presented was visually appetising with lots of bright colours. The actual taste was tremendous. Great flavours and textures and generous serving sizes. I'm not a vegan but I would definitely go Flexi based on this experience alone. Worth every penny, I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks guys.

Amazing food! Absolutely blown away by our first visit here, not only was the food out of the world but the service from Marc and Lizzi was absolutely amazing!! My partner who isn't vegan fully enjoyed her meal and drink too! So I was personally over the moon about that too😂 the prices wasn't bad either, I was expecting "City prices" but we paid "town prices" Prickly Pear has got to be one of my favourite places I've ever ate! And I've ate at places all over the world too! I can not wait to visit again. Thank you for one of the best meals I've ever ate!

Menu looked very balanced with a lot of healthy vegan food and junk food vegan dishes. My mum and I were very pleased with what we ordered and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and food was decently priced. It was very clean and very nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this place to others, whether you are vegan vegetarian or flexi, it is all delicious. Cant wait to go again. 10/10.

Really great food. Super tasty burgers! Not a fast food place as they cook it fresh (so don't expect to go there for a very quick meal - REALLY worth the relatively short wait though). Great choice of drinks too.. the milkshakes are incredible.

My daughter and I visited pre a gig at Rock City, we dont live in the area, but had searched to find somewhere vegan to eat and Prickly Pear looked good. We weren't disappointed, the food was delish and the staff lovely and chatty and friendly. We will definitely be visiting again. We have actually contemplated driving 40 mins each way just to pick up a weekend takaway :)

My favourite place to go for a burger. Such amazing taste and variety on the menu. I love seeing the weekly special burger. The vegan fish tacos are so good too. The only thing I would say is I've started to notice the portion size on takeaways is alittle smaller than usual.

This was my first visit to the Prickly Pear. The place is lovely, clean and understated which makes it feel very comfortable and relaxed. Started coming here shortly after it opened, and the food is brilliant. Have had a 4-5 things off the menu, but try to visit once a week for the chilli-cheese fries which are out of this world, good portion size and good prices too. Great service and the owners are clearly passionate and proud of what they're doing. They have some great offers, support some cool charities and stuff which is nice to see and make changes to the menu every now and then to change things up. TL;DR - Foods great, affordable options and nothing is mega pricey, friendly service. What more can you ask for.

I've been here twice now and I love it. There can be a bit of a wait for food and drinks but that's because they make everything from scratch so it's well worth the wait. You can really taste the fruit in the smoothies and there's a good range of food. They accept card payments and Monzo. (Just a heads up for anyone considering a visit, the toilet is downstairs so not ideal for people with mobility problems and probably impossible for anyone in a wheelchair.)

I had tasted their burgers and would reccomend seitan burgers! I love their chips so good. I didn't like the hemp burger, it was just okay. Made me wish I had ordered a seitan burger instead. Just my preference! You might like the hemp burger but it wasn't for me. Hamburger style burger was in between. Seitan burger was a winner.
