D. M.A friend of mine recommended that I try Saracens. I visited last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience ... we spent nearly five hours there and gad to extend my parking session 😊🤣 The food was amazing and service A1. Atta looked after our table and did a great job ... thank you 😊 If you have never been, please do, I'll certainly be going back 😊
V.We were let down by another restaurant at short notice, we called Saracens and they managed to fit us in! It was a birthday party with 18 people which was a logistical nightmare for other places!
Saracens did not let us down, spoke to Zak and he was brilliant. We were in a separate function room, great food and service, would recommend Saracens all day long!

The good
We came here for a birthday party which we had in the backroom. The decor is really nice and the staff were polite and attentive. The price was fairly reasonable tbf.
The Fish Pakoras were definitely the best thing that I tried and every one with burgers seems to really enjoy them. I would opt for a burger over the meat.
The bad
I think our large group of 20 was hard for them to manage as orders were mixed up and food was coming out at different times.
What I ordered personally was the BBQ ribs, which I didn't enjoy, there was not much meat, a lot of fat and for me it was tough and needed to be cooked longer. The sweet chili fries I didn't personally like but everyone else did. The BBQ Chicken tikka was really nice but was a small portion.
Would I return: Unfortunately not.

K. H.I have been twice now and love this place! Last time I went was for my brothers birthday and they bought out a cake and sparklers and sang happy birthday. Really made a great effort. There is a lot food to choose from and it is ALL delicious, One of the staff named Hassan was great and really helpful. The manager that recommended me the sweet chilli chips and dynamite prawns was also friendly. The service is great. They are very attentive and make you feel welcome. They have shisha upstairs which I will try next time. My new favourite place to eat.
D. D.Suprisingly good quality of desserts. When the waffle is hot but crispy, the fruits are fresh on it, the ice cream isn't melted....not too sweet. Just as it has to be....I was a bit skeptic after so many dissapointment of the dessert places in the town... but this place was really good. The staff was very helpful and professional as well. We will definitelly going back again!

We were greeted with a smile at the door by the lovely Attaullah and we had outstanding table service from the lovely Tauseef who constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything and everything was up to standards. F. R.The manager Zak was very welcoming as soon as we walked in and offered us a rooftop table as well as a discount on shisha. The service from all waiters and waitresses was impeccable and they were all so friendly! The menu was easy to navigate and food and drinks came relatively quickly. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious and very affordable! We were also offered free ice cream on our way out which was a great end to the evening. The atmosphere in the restaurant/lounge is as expected but not too loud! My friends and I loved it and would go back again!
R. T.Myself and 4 friends came to Saracens Cafe tonight for the first time after trying to find a lovely looking restaurant, and we couldn’t have had a better evening! The staff and service were impeccable, with each member being as friendly as the next. All of our food arrived quickly and we enjoyed all of the dishes. We also loved the shisha! We enjoyed the ambience of the roof top terrace and all outdoor seating was accompanied by heaters. As we were leaving we were all offered a free scoop of ice cream by the manager Zak for our journey home, which was really kind of him. I look forward to returning!
J.Saracens is a really lovely place. The music is really entertaining and has good taste. The decorations and restaurant look is breathtaking. A.Khan & Tauseef were brilliant assistants and helpers. They were very entertaining and welcoming. Fantastic service. I definitely recommend and I am certainly coming for my birthday as they are very creative on birthdays. I will definitely come more!

A very positive experience all round. I've been to a few shisha lounges in my time,this wasn't one of the more swankier establishments I've passed through. However it DEFINITELY had the best service of all the Shisha lounges I've been to.
Everything was on point,from arrival to departure,The introductions were courteous and professional,the service was polite,prompt and efficient.
The waiter even came around to tell us that out desserts were going to take a few minutes longer than anticipated.
And to round it off,excellent value for money.
There were 3 of us,only 2 were smokers,we had 1 shisha and 3 desserts,the bill came to £30,plus the desserts were delicious.
The decor isn't anything special,plus there aren't any TV screens,which we were surprised at,minor gripes really,everything else was bang on.

Like forks and other dishes and they would bring everything with manners in no time. One of the waiters I think his name was *habaka * he’s so sweet and welcoming in general.The food is amazing too. The grilled chicken salad was really yummy and the chicken Swiss burger was out of this world. Honest to God, I have never tasted such a yummy Swiss burger at any other place. 5 stars!

Service was on top form, food was great! I got the chicken steak and pasta as I’d never thought of such a combination - definitely one to get if you’re hungry as it’s super filling and tasty.
Princess peach drink was also refreshing and had a good strong flavour!
The whole family were really happy and we’ve made it our place to go whenever we’re in nottingham!

M.First I’d like to say, the service was genuinely spectacular. I usually don’t think about the service after I have finished eating, but at saracens, that’s all I could think about! Huge thanks to Masih. Unreal communication skills and new exactly what to do perfectly. Very impressed with the staff. The food and drinks was beyond my expectations!!! I was left in awe and had to take some home with me as it was that delectable. The place is beyond 5 stars in my opinion as it offers a wide range of cuisines that anyone can enjoy. So happy it’s halal because us Muslims don’t get to enjoy restaurants as much here due to the lack of Halal restaurant chains in the UK. Especially with the high level calibre this restaurant clearly exudes. Definitely coming here again as well as recommending my friends to come here too!!

Food was out standing (got a chicken steak with pasta), and especially the service. Big shout out to Manager Zak and Amman for looking after me, again great service.

R. R. (.I was travelling from Newcastle upon Tyne and was recommended by someone to go to this place as their food and service was considered the best. As soon as I walked in, Zak (the manager I think) welcomed us and explained what the business was about as it was my first time visiting the place.
The choice of food and Zaks recommendations were on point. In fact, it’s the best food I have had in any shisha place in my experience in the UK. Their desserts and food were fresh and cooked perfectly. To top it all off, my friend told Zak that is was my birthday. Zak with his colleague, Tauseef came with fresh Cake and ice cream with Birthday fireworks with a birthday greeting track in the background. It’s been the best experience for me in a long time and I’d like to wholeheartedly thank the Staff at Saracens for their hospitality. I’ll be back soon! Oh and Zak gave a tour of the place explaining his ethos in terms of ensuring that it was a family friendly space on top of giving me tea and desserts on the house! ☺️

I used to hate going outside until we came here, ended up liking it enough to stay for dessert and shisha too, and didn't even need to cry when the bill came out.
Attaullah was a marvelous delight, and had amazing customer service skills, I was genuinely surprised to discover such highly professional and amusing people were working in a food establishment, it was also the first time I did not feel the need to implore for the servers to stop speaking or to speed up, nice relaxed and non creepy shisha place.
Bathroom also had a lota which was infact the gold star that earnt them my first Google review.

D. J.The atmosphere and decor is really on point. The food matches the vibe and menu has a variety of things to choose. But what stood out was the customer service. From the door being opened for you on arrival to the waiter introducing himself and keeping a eye on you during your time was a lovely looked after feel.
We visited on 28th April around 9.30pm with my 2 young children and the atmosphere and vibe was perfect for them too. Its a great night out for the whole family.
They do drive by sheesha outside which looked really busy too. I can imagine this place will b buzzing after the lockdown is eased and rightly so.

t.Was let down by another restaurant (out of their control to be fair, it was electrical problems) and they were unable to provide a time slot. 18 member family birthday party, spoke with Zak and Tauseef who managed to get us a private room on very short notice and went above and beyond, customer service, food and atmosphere was fantastic.
Really appreciate all they did for us to ensure my brothers daughter had a wonderful birthday dinner with in-laws.

The servers were all great and it was lovely how friendly and welcoming they all were. There was one particular server, his name was Raza who was attentive and sorted out any issues we had immediately. The food was phenomenal. As a professional chef myself, I am quite particular in food, and I found the food was very good. I would highly recommend. I’m not very experienced in shisha, so I wouldn’t be able to give an opinion. But from what my companions said, it was of very good quality. The drinks I ordered were mojitos. As a connoisseur in drinks my personal preferences are mojitos that are carbonated.. ie. Fizzy, but I found theirs to be not fizzy at all and they happily replaced them with normal drinks like coke. And they offered to let me teach them how to make a real mojito next time I come down. Now wether they were joking or serious remains to be seen… 😂😂😂

D. (.Been to Saracens multiple times brought a lot of people but their number of people/2 = how many shishas have to be ordered policy drives me nuts as it makes 0 sense whatsoever. The food is decent, cakes are bomb, the wraps are awful. Shisha is good quality a bit expensive for what you get I think. The music volume is good its not too loud so you can hear your mates talking but it isn’t awkward silence either.

B. M.My second time here eating today brought my family along to enjoy the experience this time and they absolutely loved it. Was greeted by Alex with a warm welcome and seated and served by a young man called zach. What a pleasure it was to have zach as our waiter. So polite and was on hand to answer any questions. His service was excellent. Towards the end Alex came over to find out if everything was OK and asked how the food was and if there was anything else we needed. Our overall experience was exceptional and we will definitely be recommending and coming back again!

The classic beef burger and the sweet chilli chips are to die for. I definitely recommend them. Good selection of desserts too.
The shisha was definitely on point, no complaints whatsoever. Again Masih was very helpful in helping us choose from their 30+ shisha flavours. The atmosphere is good with light music playing in the back rather than blasting music like a night club.
Overall 10/10. Service, food and atmosphere.

all the dishes were fantastic, not too spicy for the kids , service and attentiveness by attahullah and usman was fantastic - polite and conscientious, regularly checking if we needed anything.

I have been to a lot of restaurants and this is definitely top of the list. The setting and theme is exquisite it’s not like walking in to your bog standard seated restaurant, the roof top setting is something that is unique and it makes this restaurant stand out even more. Most important the staff and service is 10/10 super exceptional. Every staff member is so friendly, approachable and attentive. We were greeted by the ever so wonderful zakir who made sure we were seated straight away and had the best night . Also a special shout-out to the amazing lovely two waitresses who went over and above with service and made sure my birthday was extra special on Wednesday night. 😉 Thankyou soo much zakir and team.

H. A. R.Travelled to Nottingham for the first time, and visited Saracens for my birthday dinner. Upon arrival, the staff there made us feel so welcome and were very attentive. We were quickly seated, and the staff shortly after presented us with a free fruit platter for iftar, which was a lovely touch.
The atmosphere is amazing, and the new rooftop terrace is perfect and not at all cold as there are plenty of heaters to make you feel as though you are indoors.
The food was amazing! We could not fault anything. The drinks were also so good.
My husband and I would like to thank all the team at Saracens for a truly special birthday meal and making us feel at home.
Now we just need a Saracens in London!!! Please!!!

There is a large and evolving dessert spread available and they are very well presented. The ice cream is satisfactory and there is always a wide range of flavours available that they often change up. The side of the store is slightly disarray at the moment but this is likely due to the pandemic and the current disuse of the seating areas. However they are ensuring that the outlet is COVID Safe. Overall the service is good.

We enjoyed the Strawberry Mocktail, Salmon Grill & sweet chilli chips amongst other things. And portions are so generous guys, that we had huge leftovers for us three Ladies, all for well under £50!
