Excellent sports bar. They had the women's football match I wanted as well as rugby and cricket. The food was good and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The owner is knowledgeable and has some great stories! Definitely recommend.

Excellent pub, beautifully decorated, lovely touches. Lots of memorabilia, covering all sports. Love it. Mark & team have excelled. Booking system for match days to ensure not overcrowded. Service exceptional.

Fantastic venue. Time and effort has been put in to achieve a refurbishment. Policy of maximum occupancy of 150 works well. Anyone can book a table. Friendly efficient staff, table service and they keep a good pint. The best pre- post match venue!

Only had 2 pints (cheapest being Stella at £4.50 pt...there is no Carling/Fosters if that's your thing) so can't give a comprensive review including food. Looking at the menu though, it could possibly do with more hearty meal items such as burgers, sandwiches, pizza etc. 'Pie n mash' seems to be the only main meal type option - not sure liquor with the pie would go down well in these parts but you can choose gravy instead. Great to see a sports bar in the area once again though, ever since South Bank closed. Would've rated 5 stars had it not been for kids constantly smashing the piano keys creating a racket - just get rid as can't see the point in this type of establishment. Screens towards the back are painfully high so you'll need to be at a fair distance (or stood up) to avoid neck strain. Great friendly service though with neat surroundings and various sports memorabilia adorning the walls. Would go again to watch a match, devour some wings with a few pints to wash them all down with. Just hope there won't be any young, budding, out-of-tune pianists drowning out the commentary.

Absolutely love this place, my new 2nd home. Best venue for cricket or football when in nottingham. Owners are nice and the staff are amazing and up for the laugh. Food is a limited menu but has something for every1 and is always nicely cooked so recommend this place 100% See you soon 🥰

A very well kitted out pub which serves as a replacement for the recently closed Southbank (as we used to know it). The only room for improvement is the food menu which comprised mainly of small bar snacks. The only thing resembling a meal was pie and mash. 6 friends and I all wanted either burgies or pizza, both of which are very easy to cook. Come on Boot Room, fill them football fan tum tums.
