We had the goat curry, brown chicken and chicken roti for our mains and side. Both currys were rich and tender.
Unfortunately they were out of the ginger sticky pudding but our waiter Angel procured a brownie with coconut ice cream for me.
Angel was great throughout the evening. Recommending dishes to us, sorting out our drinks and sourcing my dessert.

We usually go to the Crawley one but moved house recently so had to find a new one and Nottingham was the closest - as awesome as ever! The coconut fried chicken beats KFC hands down no contest

The food tasted so good, with one of the party claiming that they were the best ribs he'd ever eaten! The service was good and the cocktails were excellent. Overall would recommend Turtle Bay!

Food was delicious, I ordered prawns to start, omg so flavorsome🤤 I could have had more.
I then ordered the ribs as my main, soo good, the pineapple on the side worked so nice with my ribs.
My husband had the ribs to start and a chicken curry dish as a main, which was lovely and very fragrant.
We ordered cocktails too, well it is a friday night🍹🍸🥳
B. A.went for bottomless brunch with my boyfriend and was seated immediately by the host. Katie or Kate I believe took our order she was so lovely and made sure we got our 2hrs worth while asking us continuously for our next drink order. I love the cocktails too not too strong not too weak just right. Was a bit skeptical about the food too but I went for the chicken burger with spicy fries - absolutely beautiful add a bit of hot pepper sauce to the burger 10/10. Will definitely be back again with some cash too to tip our server 🤣🤣
L. 0.Really good atmosphere. Had the curry goat and it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. Was tempted to ask for a recipe but didn't get the chance. I have since been back two times and haven't been disappointed! I only drank water, so I dont know about the drinks but the cocktails look good so I'll try that when I go back. Would definitely recommend! Friendly staff and service. Not too busy either. Just right.

L. C.We had the Bottomless Brunch on a week day. I had the sausage roti as my food choice, which was delicious! We had plenty of cocktails during our 2 hour slot, and our dedicated 'server' (a chap with glasses and blond cropped hair) was polite, attentive and didn't seem at all annoyed that we kept trying to get his attention for more cocktails.
We stayed for another cocktail outside of the 2 hours (which was 2-4-1 anyway) and even dessert.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely do the Bottomless Brunch again.
M. T.One of the nicest restaurant in the corner house. Caribbean cuisine, and cocktails with a twist. I liked the coconut espresso martini, not sure about marley mojito though, that watermelon twist doesn't work in my opinion. But 2 for 1 during happy hours. So can't really complain :)
T. D.I had lunch here with my friend and it was a pleasant experience. We were seated right away and given 5-10 minutes to explore the menu. There's a nice variety and they offer desserts as well. It's well-lit, interesting and spacious inside. Love the Caribbean vibes!
The mocktails and food were absolutely delish!! It's filling, but so tasty, that if you don't finish your meal, you'll want to take it home, which is what I did. Good prices, good food, and the music wasn't too bad either. It was lively but relaxed and I really enjoyed it :)
N.We visited here at 12 in a Saturday and it was so busy. Great atmosphere and the bottomless brunch is well worth the money. Especially if you get waitress Katie. She made it clear she wasn't letting us fall short on drinks and was already taking our next order when the new drinks were put down on the table. She made our visit even better. Food was fantastic and will definitely be visiting again. Hopefully we get Katie again!
a. w.A group of 6 of us ate there on new years eve, as usual the food was great, the place was very busy but very well organised. We went for the all that you can drink cocktails and 3 course meal deal. I thought that they might be slow with the drinks because they were so busy. Definitely not the case! We were served by Laura who approached our table constantly asking if we would like to reorder, she was totally on the ball and very attentive/professional, difficult given that the place was so busy. They needed our table back after 2 hours but again this was handled very well, The manager, a French guy made sure that we had another table to sit at and finish our drinks. Thanks, great night out. Our server Paulina was very attentive and chatty while always making sure we were ok and taking drinks orders when needed. She made the experience a lot better from her top quality service! We were given drinks without ordering so we didn’t know what we we were drinking - upon asking another member of staff we were told it was because the bar was busy , but it would have been nice to have known what we were drinking. We then were left for 20 minutes without drinks while tables were being cleared. A lady who was serving our friends table drinks (I think she was new) was so lovely and welcoming getting drinks so quickly but our table was left feeling a bit disappointed with our service

A.We did the bottomless brunch and if you're on a mission to get drunk this is great. For just over £30 we got a plate of food and as many cocktails as we could drink in 2 hours. We joked the Waitress wanted to kill us because she told us what cocktails would come quickest etc and every time we had drinks to the table she'd ask if we'd like to order more. The cocktails weren't great quality and you could tell they were using cheap alcohol from the taste. Not for me, I prefer luxury but if you want to drink as much as possible in 2 hours you will not be disappointed.

D. M.Very nice generally. Missed 5* as the server wasn't interested at all when I gave feedback on the ribs that my partner couldn't eat due to them being dry. A real shame as everything else was spot on. She made no effort to speak to the chef, how do you expect to improve if you don't tell the chef? The chef will understandably think all the food is bang on if the servers don't report back. Personally I think she should have at least credited the meal as the customer couldn't eat it? Seemed very out of character for the place. Staff have been excellent on previous visits

K.Okay food but very noisy and very poor service, like I know it’s a busy Saturday evening but our server would look right at us and walk right past instead of taking our order, and when we wanted the check she just stood in front of the kitchen waiting for food instead of serving her tables. Wouldn’t come back.

Food and drinks are all fantastic on one occasion my daughter in law Tina and me tried to taste all their cocktails.
Would definitely recommend this place.
Also the staff are lovely the music suits the menu and is played at the right volume.
Toilets are upstairs and kept clean.
You can see the food being cooked.
I could keep going on but I'll just say Great Restaurant.

The venue was busy but we do feel rushed . It has a very good vibe.
Ian is funny, attentive, he gave us recommendations on the cocktails and he kept the drinks coming for 2 hours. It was an amazing experience thanks to Ian.
Shout out to the bar staff, they were working non stop and all the cocktails were amazing! Thank you so much.

We were served by Ian who was absolutely fantastic, he was always checking on us and very friendly, shout out to him! The cocktails were lush and got us both drunk very nicely. I recommend trying the One Love, Passion Rum Punch and Jamaican Mule, but honestly try get as many as you can because it is worth it. Food is also great and most options on the menu are nice, the sides were particularly great. Overall a great restaurant to go to especially for the bottomless brunch deal and it was made even better by Ian.

I.So I'm normally a bit harsher with my reviews for big chains for whatever reason. But I really have nothing to complain about here! The jerk chicken was nice and spicy, and the watermelon slush drink was thirst-quenching and cooling. Staff were also very friendly.

We often had to wait up to 10 minutes in between drinks- and this was at 3pm on a Thursday, so they weren’t particularly busy. So, you don’t really get your money’s worth. There are plenty of other places in town that provide a better bottomless brunch experience. But for a standard lunch or dinner, this spot offers a range of yummy Caribbean-inspired dishes.

S. C.Hello I’d just like to leave a review for my stay today. Me my mother and my partner and auntie came this morning for bottomless brunch where we was served by a lovely member of staff called kye, her service for around the first hour was brilliant could not complain in the slightest and was overall really happy with the service. However when it came to the second hour of the 2 hours we was served by a member of staff called Paulina and we was not happy with her service at all, I’m aware that some people may have bad days but she got a drink wrong with my girlfriend aim which she implied this was our fault but then when we asked for the drink we originally ordered it came literally straight away which seemed strange considering the time we was waiting for the first drinks we ordered from her was around 20 mins and overall we thought her service was quite rude in comparison to the excellent service from kye. Again we appreciate that it got busy into the second hour and Paulina may not have been able to get to us quick but there was no ‘I’m sorry for you’re wait’ or ‘I’ll get to you as soon as I can due to how busy we are’ like we would normally get where we go. However our visit was very good other than the poor service in the second half. The food was outstanding so i would like to congratulate the chefs for that.

B.I thought the service was good, however it was really slow, there was a lot of staff not doing much though, just standing around the middle bar, but at least 3 members of staff were rushed of there feet. The ladies toilets were grim, build up of dust in the sink, and the sink was clog up, with dirty water, floor could of also done with sweep. But I blame this whole experience on bad management. The food I chose wasn’t great but maybe that was my personal taste. The rest of the party really enjoyed there meal though. Cocktails were very strong, so I would recommend if you just want drinks. The staff would always check on us and they were extremely nice, which made dining there much better. It was also easy to book a table 1-2 days before (for a friday evening), so definitely worth booking here instead of booking 2 weeks in advance for a worse and more expensive place.

He kept us topped up all the time and made cocktail recommendations. He made sure we got more than our moneys worth. He was talkative, tentative and in a vibrant mood. Nothing was too much. We could do with being a bit more like Ian once in a while. Thanks for turning our sad day into a more bearable day. The food was delicious too.

Table service was great once we were sat and the waitress was lovely. Some of the food was amazing (sides deal-dumplings, chicken and halloumi fries), but the main meal ribs we got were really dry to the point that we left the majority of them, and the cheesy covered jerk fries were far from cheesy. Turned out all the cheese was at the bottom!! Will definitely go again though, even if it is just for cocktails.

Food arrived promptly & was delicious (also very filling, so make sure you're hungry when you go). Waiting staff all delightful (ours was Rikki). During payment the waiter assumed that the change was a tip so we had to ask them for it. It would have been over 20% tip otherwise! We left 15% tip as it was a great night.
N.I love the atmosphere, staff and food! I've never been to the Caribbeans but I can imagine that the experience would feel the same as this restaurant. It's the perfect place for drinks (2 for 1 cocktails) and casual food if your not looking to have a full meal. Try the chill fried squid as a snack to go with the cocktails. I recommend the grilled pork belly for the main.

Ordered Toasties and wraps from the lunch menu. The drinks were served after our food arrived which was disappointing as we’d been waiting a while. We all sat in our coats because it was freezing. Staff were polite but not attentive, too busy talking to each other. N. S.I love Turtle bay, food quality is always high. The trinity and goat curries are great! and the portions are perfect. Definitely recommend them. However, some of the other dishes are low in quantity for the price that you pay, such as the burgers. But if you make the right choices it can be a very enjoyable meal (If unsure just ask them for recommendations).
If you are looking for a place to just chill and drink cocktails then there are better options around Nottingham. They have a 2 for 1 on cocktails until 7 pm during the week which is good and the atmosphere is always great. The cocktail menu is however not that big; the majority of the cocktails are pretty average, there are a couple of noteable ones.
Still definitely worth a try! So come along and have a taste of the carribean at Turtle Bay.
N. M.This was my first time in Turtle Bay, and I will certainly be back! We went for a meal around 3 o'clock so it was a fairly quiet time of the day. Food was very well executed and had a pleasant kick to it. Being before 7pm it was two for one on cocktails, which were nice before the meal. Service was very good and attentive, whilst not being intrusive.

I mentioned the portion size to my nephew who recommended Turtle Bay and he also agreed that the portion size was small.
N. B.Food is OK. Tried eating out here for the Eat out to help out scheme. I wouldn't pay full price as thought the price was a bit steep for what you get. Toilets were grim. Toilet paper all over the floor in every cubicle. Skirting board coming away from the wall and toilet seat sliding off the pan. The dirty sanitary towel sitting on the bin wasn't great either. There are better eating places in Nottingham but I guess The Corner House is a draw for some.

D. V.This place is great fun, a little slice of the Caribbean in the centre of Nottingham. Spend and evening there drinking Carib beers and tropical cocktails and you'll probably get a little shock when you walk out the door and find yourself teleported back onto a sidewalk in Nottingham. We shared a starter platter so that we could try all the delicious flavours. Those ribs! 😍 Then we tried the goat curry and the chicken curry. Both were delicious and very different. The portions are generous, we were stuffed by the time we teleported out of there. Some nights busier than others so will depend what you are looking for.
