Reviews of Busaba Oxford

When I walked in, I instantly knew it was a good restaurant. The scent was on point. The decorations and the plating were tangible to high end restaurant.
Food was amazing, nothing to complain.
One point to improve on was overly friendly staff. Very very friendly, almost to the point that they may have as well grabbed a chair and joined the table!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! loved the starters and the touch of prawn crackers with sweet chilli while we dicided (could have been a while lol) mains where amazing! We had the Chicken Katsu & Duck Noodles. Staff were very lovely and so confident even though it’s only second day open! About time oxford had somewhere like it! Thank you everyone & see you soon!

Decent Thai food. Good service. For some dishes, quantity could be better.

Visited a few times since they opened in January. Really lovely atmosphere. Staff are attentive and helpful. Menu is full of some lovely dishes. If you get a chance visit their bar Ajia down stairs, sporting some great twists on classic cocktail as well as some new and delicious recipes. Great vibe, great bartenders… who doesn’t like a basement bar?.

Delicious, but a little pricey. There is also a service fee (12.5%) they put on but the waiter was friendly enough to remove it so we tipped them directly with cash (like how it should be).

Came here for a family meal It was not overly busy but still had a good buzz. the welcome was friendly and we were seated pretty quickly and the first round of drinks and prawn crackers were on the table just as rapidly.
There is a good vegi choice which was key for us and the waiter was on hand to make a few recommendations as it was our first visit
The food came to the table quickly too, exactly as ordered, there is no way to fault the taste portion size etc, it was delicious.
The only small negative point was the lack of dessert options available on the night we were there, this was totally a supply chain issue and not down to the lack of choice, to be fair it probably saved me from myself.
We will be back the next time we are in Oxford.
