We stopped after a trip to the JR, it's been a few years since we last visited but the quality and taste didn't disappoint everything was cooked fresh and tasted amazing. I had the cheddar bacon which was amazing and my wife had the davincheesy blue which again was amazing. We also had the mac n cheese which were incredible they were massive as well. All in all another fantastic meal had from Chosen Bun thank you we will be sure to call in again.

Best burger I have had in a long time, very impressed with how quickly it was delivered, the packaging was smart and the food was hot. Milkshake was amazing too! Would order from here again and recommend 10/10!!!!

Worlds best burger!!🍔 So drove past this one loads of times but I always stick to the big brand burger Chains. However decided to give it a go, so while ordering my burger I said that’s a big statement to make after seeing the sign in the window (Worlds Best Burger) so Lucas says I’m going to make you the best burger you’ve ever had!. True to he’s word and the statement made it really was one of the BEST burgers 🍔I’ve had. And I do love a burger!! Real thought has gone into the ingredients to get the flavours that compliment a good burger. Ps didn’t get chance to get a photo eat it to quick.

Central location, very clean, and organized. Recommend the milk shakes, tasty and come in mason jars. Fries/chips tasty and thick cut. Burger tasty, fresh, and juicy. Lots of packaging for everything you order, seems very wasteful.

I had a room near this little restaurant during my stay in Oxford, so I decided to jump in and try their burgers. Definitely one of my best choice. From the outside you won’t tell that they are going to serve you such a great dish. The place is tiny and thought for take away more that eat in. You can decide among different beef, chicken and even vegan burgers. There are some variants for each type of meat and it’s easy to find something for yourself. I took the BBQ Eastwoody. It was delicious: the patty was perfectly cooked, the bread was crunchy and tasteful and you can feel al the good quality ingredients inside. They offered a deal with chips and a can. The chips were tasty, not the best I’ve tried, but you won’t regret them. The service was good and the personal kind. I picked it by myself so I don’t know how their delivery service works, anyway they will bring you whatever you order at your door.

Have tried a few of the ‘more expensive’ burger places in Oxford over the last few months and have been let down terribly by their choice of delivery drivers! Food always cold and soggy! Tried The Chosen Bun last week as an alternative! It was Soooooo good tried them again this week! They delivered to the max from amazing burgers…hot fries…ice cold milkshake and a lovely delivery driver. 11/10….doesn’t get any better than that! Thank you. Xxx

Have to say these are some of the best Vegan burgers we have ever had!! We got the Korean Chilli Burger and The Chosen Cheesy Plant and both were unbelievable! Also, the fries with rosemary and salt are to die for and are essential with every order. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but we will continue to order from here for sure!

Once I visited the place around mid day and nobody was at the cashier to take my order. Waited there for a while, calling for others to serve me. Got bored after 5 minutes and bought pizza from Papa Johns next door. Otherwise a quite expensive place, the burgers are decent. Would only recommend their 7£ meal deal. The fries are super salty

I got this delivered through deliveroo. All I can say is omfg. The burgers are amazing, the milkshakes are to die for! (I got the Oreo one) It's the best burger I have ever had and want this place to franchise down south in Bournemouth (where I am from 😂)

12 quid for a burger meal means it needs to be top of the pops. The burger agreed was above the rest of your average burgers, a nice thick Angus beef pattie. The huge onion ring good idea though probably to big. You need a jaw extension to get first bite. Overall though a solid 8 out 10. But tven the chips...so much potential yet on this occasion failed on many levels. Firstly they need to put a warning on the box, the chip literally had hot lava inside and decorated my mouth with a lovely blister, this was followed by the most amount of salt I've ever had on a chip it was like eating pure salt. Not pleasant. Would I go back, probably yes burger was decent though I think the 12 quid price tag (11.95) is way to steep. I'd also ask them to hold on the shovel of salt on the chips next time.

Ordered from Deliveroo at the weekend, and was without doubt the best takeaway I've ever had. Beautifully packaged to ensure freshness and to not make it soggy during transit. Delivered promptly and the food itself was delicious. Will be ordering from here again. Suggestion for the future: buffalo chicken wings for the menu please!

I had the veg edemamy burger whilst my brother had their original chosen burger instead of going to the usual (the Mediterranean fish bar just opposite). Lemme tell you that was the best decision we have ever made. The burgers were absolutely perfect, flavourful and the complimentary chips were floury, crispy and perfectly salted with rosemary; although the food wasn't particularly hot (only just barely hot) -- which may be due to the slight walk home in the evening cold. Despite this, the burgers were really good, the service was both excellent and polite, and the place itself is nicely done-up with a clean-feel. We were so full by the end of the meal, so make sure you're pretty hungry prior to ordering. Regardless, I'm definitely planning on coming here again! Thank you!

HAND'S DOWN THE BEST BURGER and the BEST CHIPS even compared to the high end £12-a-burger places!! I usually go for their Burger+chips+can for £11.95 combo as their chips are hard to say no to! The only thing sub-par I'd recommend avoiding is their milkshake which are more on the runnier side. Love their branding as well with the amazing packaging which keeps their food warmer for longer and their promotional leaflets we get at home always have new design on them unlike Papa johns or Dominos. This could easily become a chain with their branding and quality of product although I can't contest for their service in store as I've never eaten in at their location before. I wish there were more branches near Cowley and City centre in Oxford that way more people could taste their amazing food. Deliveroo isn't always the best at delivering items while they're still hot so it might be a bit of a turn off for people who get their items cold every now and then from the looks of it in this comment section. I personally have always received items at the perfect temperature but mind you I live at Headginton so not very far from the restaurant. The only sad thing is that they don't deliver everywhere in Oxford so you'll only get to them if you live within their deliveroo locations.

Vegan burgers absolutely stunningly good! Cannot emphasise enough how impressive their two vegan burgers were! Edamame and mushroom based, with truly fabulous vegan mayo, an excellent vegan cheese, and pickles etc.and a vegan brioche bun. Just out-and-put delicious. By no means cheap but more than worth every penny. Can't recommend too highly.

Good for takeaway, prices are fair for the quality but more than your typical fast food burger. Eat in is far too small and not set up for going out for a meal, so take it home and I'm sure that you'll be happy.

Ordered through deliveroo. Had wonderful burgers and milkshake! Love the concept that they use glass jar to contain the milkshake. At least not paper cups! I am a slow eater and I normally didn't finish a burger til 20 mins later. But this (vegetarian, non mushroom) burger was soooooo nice that I literally finished it in 10 mins, my friends were all surprised with it lol Highly rate this restaurant! 4.6 rating at deliveroo! No idea why it's only 3.8 here

Pleasantly surprised at the effort put into the burgers -I would put it amongst the best I have had. The chips were really good: chunky, crispy outside and the rosemary salt makes a great seasoning. Look forward to trying the chicken and veg (edemamy) burgers.

Being a burger lover, I'm always happy to see another burger place open. This is a takeaway / delivery place only (i.e. you cant eat inside). I had a Chosen Cheesy (see picture) which was well cooked (medium) and fresh, also had some Chosen Chips. The sauces and pickles were nice and they had something resembling 'Branston pickle' inside. The chips are good too (though the fat gets a bit overwhelming towards the end). The only thing I would say is that given you cant eat in, £16.25 for a cheeseburger, large chips (no drink) and delivery is a bit excessive. There is tough competition out there so I guess only time will tell if they can survive at these prices.

I love burgers. I make my own burger, which I love. I've eaten at all the 'high end' burger joints, Byron, GBP, Bills, I've eaten burgers in the states from New York, to Wendys Daytona Beech, I regularly eat burgers in The Cotswold gourmet pubs. Chosen Bun hold their head up high amongst them all, I love them. The chips are epic, great presentation and I hope they expand. Try them, you won't be disappointed.
