The food here was exceptional! The service was always very prompt and the food arrived quite quickly. The dessert only took slightly longer to arrive, but the staff apologized heavily for the delay anyway; they clearly hold themselves to very high standards. I forgot the photograph the sharing plate of appetizers we got, which is a shame considering the lovely presentation of the sharing plate. It had camembert cheese, salami, prosciutto, tomatoes, olives, and pickles, and was certainly my favorite part of our visit. The potato dauphinoise was creamy and soft and the ribeye steak wonderfully tender. They had run out of some other steak options, including the fillet noir which I'd hoped to get, but the ribeye was a good substitute. I'd recommend coming early, before popular dishes run out.

Just had a lovely meal with friends at this fab restaurant. Warm welcome from manager Johnny and excellent attention from waiter Sam plus excellent food well cooked and presented. We had a lovely evening. Thank you to the whole team. Can't wait to return

We had a day trip to Oxford and had a late lunch here. Off peak time, not so busy, and cosy. The staff are friendly and attentive. Tasty french food at reasonable price with a nice selection of wine. I will be returning definitely.

Food was good but wasn’t a fan of the fougrasse. It’s a large portion but rather dry and salty. If you order it I’d recommend asking for balsamic vinegar and olive oil to dip. Vegan burger was good but nothing overly special. Drinks aren’t worth the price. Blood Mary was served in a short glass for some reason? Seems stingy to me. Staff were friendly and we had a positive experience otherwise.

Excellent service makes all the difference. We noted and admired as the busy staff treated an elderly customer with great kindness and patience, complete with genuine smiles. The food was good too.

Staff were really lovely but we were crammed in a tiny space for 7 people. Difficult to have a conversation with the noisy area. Unfortunately of the 7 meals at least 2 were overdone. Crispy duck and pork belly. I think we expected a cut above but got a cut below. Definitely does not feel like the website portrays. The restaurant followed up my earlier review in a very positive way. Obviously the review itself still holds but if you have any issue they do ask you to raise it on the night. Impressed with their desire to improve
