Reviews of Donnington Arms

This Nepalese restaurant is as always absolutely perfect for a genuine and authentic culinary Nepalese experience.
A modern, airy, light and spacious dining area with fully operative air conditioning that provides a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for a memorable dining experience.
Having also ordered a home delivery on occasions, I have never known a takeaway to be sealed with such hygienic care and attention.
Parking has always been an issue here because of the surrounding residential parking restrictions. The new LTN hasn't made any real difference as a result.

Amazing resturant!! The food was fantastic, and there was lots of options!! The staff were very friendly and it was not busy. There isn't parking right outside as it is just permit holders but I drove up to Ridgefield Road and parked there.
Will definitely go back and would recommend for the resturant and takeaway.

I have just returned home to Kent from a week-end in Oxford, visiting my old friend John Irvine, whom I had not seen for more than fifty years.
I took with me my little Cavalier King Charles spaniel and although the weather could have been kinder to us, we still enjoyed ourselves. John introduced me to the Nepalese cuisine at the Donnington Arms, which was a most pleasant experience. The treat was further enhanced as the owner very kindly allowed me to bring my little dog with me, which was extremely courteous of him. We ate in the bar area and very much enjoyed both the food and the company of the staff. The Nepalese cuisine was a new experience for me and one which I can thoroughly recommend. The establishment was clean and the food was presented well, the combinationof flavours was a treat to my taste buds. I was so impressed with my first taste of their food and wonderful hospitality that I asked if we could return the following evening to sample a different dish, which we were able to do. Both meals which I enjoyed here were first class and the staff were most polite and friendly. Well done to you all, I shall look forward to more of the same when I next visit Oxford.
