E. H.This is a lovely place. The manager is a friendly lady who clearly cares about her customers. I could not recommend the paella enough (served on Sundays). Probably the best I've had outside of Spain! Beautiful decoration and lovely attention to detail. See you again soon!
V. A.Lovely sophisticated restaurant with a relaxed ambience. The food was delicious - we found 5 tapas dishes between two left us very satisfied. Would recommend the "Pisto" (Like spanish ratatouille), the chorizo, and a Spanish ricotta ice cream. Also, the bread was warm crusty and good at mopping up the delish sauces. The best restaurant we've been to in Oxford!

Thankfully we stumbled across this little gem of an independent tapas restaurant during our visit to Oxford. Serving simple, simply delicious food and incredibly good wines, the beer selection looked fantastic too.
We sat in the wonderful covered garden, with retractable roof, which had an ambience that matched the food and excellent friendly service from the team.
If going to Oxford, which has a lot of branded restaurants in the centre, I would most definitely consider, then decide, to pay a visit to El Rincon, you will be a lot more than pleasantly surprised with what you find.
PS the deserts and cocktails (I can recommend a Negroni) are a delight too.
