Fantastic food! Very tasty and authentic Lebanese. Enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Very friendly service as well. Had mix grill and vegetable grill.

The place is very pleasant and the staff is kind. 5 mezze are enough for 2 people and all of them are delicious. Extra point for the pickles, the turnip one is the best I ever ate. They don’t charge for the service so don’t forget to tip the staff :)

Fantastic food, so happy we found this gem. Every mezze that we ordered ( all vegan) was perfectly balanced and full of flavour. We sat on the table out the front of the restaurant, was absolutely lovely . Highly recommend and will be coming back next time we come.to Oxford .

The BEST meal out I've had in a long time! Pinar was perfect, so incredibly lovely, friendly, and attentive and the food was impeccable. Particularly the muhammara...so so special, the yummiest thing I've eaten lately. I bought extra to take away! My housemate and I just moved to the area recently and can't wait to come back regularly, we'll have to bring all our friends! Thank you, Pinar!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say, this was an unexpected gem. It is not usually the sort of place I would go, but the meal, ambience and service were all excellent. I especially liked the pomegranate gin they offered and they certainly did not skimp out on the portion sizes. I really felt that the owners had a love of Lebanon and Lebanese culture which greatly added to my experience. I would definitely go if Middle-Eastern cuisine is for you.

The food here is to die for! Amazing spice blends, and prices are decent too. They do fantastic shared platters and it is the ideal place for a crowd of people. The owners are happy to put a bunch of tables together and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed

I must say that the two missing letters in the sign above the door made me prejudiced about the quality. However, as we went for food at an awkward time where most restaurants are still closed (4pm), we ended up here and I have to apologise for judging the book by its cover. The staff was very friendly, starters excellent and main course portions large. Truly a pleasant surprise.

I had the baked kebbeh, I think it's described as the national dish. It was maybe a bit like meatloaf, but drier and obviously differently spiced. It was a good portion and quite delicious, if somewhat strange for someone who doesn't know Lebanese cuisine. The wine was good too. Service was a bit clumsy, but didn't really detract from the experience.

Delicious, reasonably priced food. Very generous portions & friendly staff. The only confusing thing was a mezze platter for two costs more than just ordering one mezze platter twice... Seems a bit weird! We simply ordered a mezze platter to share and then some other sides. The fattoush is deliciously crispy, and we loved the aubergine dip too.

I live in a city with food from pretty much every country in the world but somehow I'd never eaten Lebanese food. This was a delightful introduction. I had a meat mezze platter that included meat and vegetarian: hummus, an eggplant dip, broad beans, a chicken wing, sausage, spicy potatoes, halloumi, a salad, and kibbeh. The server gave me a quick orientation to the plate. I found the food fresh and delicious. I had the house Lebanese white wine which was very dry. A really enjoyable meal.

The first star is for the speed of service: the food is with you in no time, so say bye to hungry waiting times. The second star is for the place: there's enough space to stretch your legs, and the acoustic is good enough to hear what your dinnermates say without having to strain your neck. The third star is for the atmosphere: they actually managed to re-create a corner of Beirut with music, cinema posters, Lebanese art, traditional cooking and tea-making gear. The fourth star is for the staff: they have always been nothing less than amiable, courteous and incredibly gracious whenever I spill my tea onto the table. Lastly, the fifth star is for the quality of food: tasty, fresh, traditional; this restaurant does not have any pretension to make Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern cuisine more suitable to northern palates, because this is not a Lebanese restaurant, but a restaurant from Lebanon that magically ended up in Oxford.

This seems like a reliable, fairly-priced Lebanese restaurant. The food wasn't super-cheap, but it was both generous and tasty. Can't complain - probably the best Lebanese you'll get in Oxford!

The mezze here is fan-tas-tic and really good value for money. My friend and I shared 4 dishes (hummus, mutabbal, bread stuffed with halloumi and pickled aubergines) and ended up paying just over £8 per person. We even had some leftovers.. Food came quickly. The only minus was that the bread that came with the hummus was fairly dry - clearly not freshly made. But overall a great place - would definitely go there again!
