Reviews of Beefeater Granary
O. B.
The food is amazing I literally enjoyed every mouthful 😋😋 and the staff are so nice and polite it was a pleasure to eat here 😁😁
C. G.
Had a great breakfast here, really good value for money with a great selection, great for kids too! had such a warm welcome from Maria & Louise, they went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They even asked if we had any allergies, couldn’t ask for anything more.
D. B.
Food was absolutely top notch, the service the same I highly recommend booking a table for that special treat
M. G.
Brilliant meal for the family on Mother’s Day. Fantastic atmosphere, great food and a welcoming environment. Our 3 year old granddaughter ate all her food, which is very unusual, and really enjoyed it. Big thank you to all the staff for an excellent meal to celebrate a special day.
N.
Food was good but the waiter was very rude (old women)took our plates and give us a bill straight away(we tried to order some cocktails) felt like they don't want us there
S. W.
Dinner was booked for two at 6.00pm. A service dog was with her wheel chair user owner and we were made to feel very comfortable and were placed very conveniently, but they were considerably understaffed I imagine, as the wait for table service, especially for the bill at the end, was awful. The food was OK, but the speciality Cob Salad was an ordinary leaf salad with a few sweet corn kernels and (very few) small pieces of red pepper, at a cost of £9.99, salmon, chicken or steak extra. As usual these days at any restaurant, we were greeted with a list of menu items that were unavailable but that was not a great start to our meal

We had the pleasure of a lovely lady called Molly serve us here, she made sure we were well looked after and the service she provided for us was brilliant. The food was amazing and so were the staff, will definitely be going back at some point. A very nice place to go to.
F. H.
Wonderful staff and gorgeous food.
Thank you ❤️
S. J.
Great staff very attentive and friendly. Food was very good, we had the lasagne and chips and chick and ribs. The chick and ribs were warm, but nothing to complain about. The lasagne didn't have a lot of mince in it. Would definitely come back again and even order the same food. 4 stars.

Stayed at ferry meadows caravan and motor home site. Booked reservation over the phone and received confirmation by text. Only a short walk to the restaurant. Served by Carole H. Amazing service and very helpful. She accommodated my very fussy son with a meal that he would eat. Can’t praise her and the team enough! The food was really tasty and plenty of it. Thank you x
D. R.
Well that was an interesting meal out... Just got glutened at a Beefeater.
Annoying because I said I was GF when booking, asked for the allergen booklet before ordering, reminded the server when ordering to make sure all food was gf.... Then in the middle of my starter I found gluten!
In their credit, the server got the manager straight away. He contacted his general manager to investigate why the error had happened. They said they are going to ring me tomorrow to see how I am... And the entire bill was complimentary.
Bad it happened, but good how seriously they took it.
Tomorrow is an important day so I hope I'm not too ill!

The waitress Emma was absolutely lovely, overhearing our disappointment that no Yorkshire puddings were served with the vegetarian no chicken roast, she promptly returned to our table with a plateful of Yorkshire puddings! So service was really excellent 👏 the vegetarian roast was tasty! The Granary resturant is on different levels and is difficult to access the actual restaurant area for wheelchairs, however some effort has been made to address this lack of inclusion, via a ramp outside for access into building and an area set aside down stairs for wheelchair users to dine in.
E. P.
Really lovely. We went out for a birthday meal and the staff even took the time to write a birthday card and give a box of chocolates with it. Food was very pleasant.
K. P.
I thought the food was good quality for the price, it was extremely busy when we were there but the wait wasn't long and the Service staff were fantastic at keeping everyone happy and well looked after.
They kept smiling, courteous and professional throughout what looked like a hard weekend
S. D.
Very nice atmosphere, on the outskirts of Peterborough. I had the mixed grill, my family had a selection of grilled chicken, steak, and hamburger, everything was very nice. The chicken was exceptional, beautifully cooked and succulent.
A. B.
Main meal was nice, but the desserts were quite reduced and the waffle wasn't nice with the ice cream, they could have toasted it.. tasted like it was just taken out of a packet and put on a plate.
M. C.
From the outset front of house was nowhere to be seen for several minutes when we arrived. The person was not rude but also not particularly friendly (It felt like they really didnt want to be there). The lunchtime menu was far too complicated - we were given two menus to look at. However when we had chosen we were told we had to order from either one or the other and not mix them. Our waitress was happy and helpful and the food was 'OK'. The Steak and Ale pie pastry seemed overcooked to me but the filling was ok. I am from outside the area but I have been to this place before and it was much better on the previous occasion (Maybe Six months ago). Parking is a ticketed car park closeby but validated in the Beefeater.
M. J.
Oh My gosh what lovely staff, went so much above and beyond from our waitress Carol who helped so much with choices to Manager Maria assiting us and well the food was so lovely could not fault at all would happily visit again
S. M.
Had Sunday Dinner here whilst visiting Peterborough for a weekend break . Best Sunday roast out in a long time and great service. Keep it up !
E. V.
I was pleased to see that the whole place was really clean and well organised with signs and arrows for the one-way system and empty tables to ensure social distancing. Food was great except the lamb which was a bit too chewy (but still not bad!). Recommended for a day out if you're in the area. Try the steaks as they're amazing.
T. H.
Went here today for some food. Staying at the Travelodge down the road. Pub has a nice feel to it. Very big inside. Sat outside for a bit and had a few drinks. Backs on to a golf course. Ordered my food. Prawn cocktail starter and 8oz fillet for the main. The starter came in about 10 mins. Very nice. Well presented. The main came about 15 mins after finishing. Very nice steak. Cooled well. The chips we're really nice. Over all a very nice meal. Staff where polite and very helpful. Would recommed.
s. e.
Gone for a walk to ferry meadows near the golf course, such a beautiful place to take the dog out and have a peaceful walk in nature.
popped into the beefeater on way for a quick coffee to treat myself.
Been greated straight away by member of staff on the door (mollie) showed to the table I asked for a quick place at the back near the golf course to enjoy my coffee yep that was no problem to accommodate me to one of they tables at the back with an amazing view of the golf course. Charlie recommended me to have a starter with a coffee which I really wasn't aiming to but I'm glad she did, beautifully cooked salt and paper calamari, then I went for the smothered chicken melt and yes I smothered myself in it, heads up to the chef for the food . I highly recommend this place. Amazing friendly staff, covid secure, beautifully cooked food, definitely will be back again.

We have just had a really lovely meal at the Granary. Excellent service and food. The grilled salmon was absolutely delicious. Our waitress Charli S was very welcoming, polite and friendly.
E. N.
Lovely venue, great atmosphere, wonderful greeting for both dinner and breakfast. Really nice food, service was good….. special mention to Anita who was a really friendly server. We will be back :)
S. D.
A pre-Christmas family gathering of 11 adults, 6 children and a baby. Good festive meals on offer but it was fine to mix with the regular menu.
The food was good - didn't hear a single complaint! Service was exemplary and I sincerely hope the right people read this and are proud of their staff and management.
Finally (of course) the bill arrived..... and that was also a pleasant experience as we all thought it was very good value.
K. P.
Fantastic location, very tasty food, life music as well.
W. T.
A very pleasant experience from start to finish. An extra shout-out to Emma who gave us very good service and never kept us waiting. Because of this, I will go out to another beefeater in the future.
A. S.
A ++++ restaurant.
Highly recommended to anyone wanting GOOD food and a GOOD experience. Food is absolutely exquisite, chefs are always on point with delivering exceptional quality meals. Manager is so friendly and loves talking to customers. We came for Christmas and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere inside the restaurant Is always lovely. 10/10. One of the best Beefeaters I've ever ever ever been in. You'd never think this was a chain restaurant. Thank you for being the best!.
I. A. W.
Came in this afternoon with my partner and was served by Carole I think lady with blonde hair very nice and great service, was my first time trying this restaurant and I loved it will definitely be coming back
K. P.
Very first time here, what a great place to meet with family and friends, we will be going again soon, staff were very helpful and friendly, service was quick, food was delicious, cannot fault it
A. R.
Not much choice for a light lunch and quite expensive for what I had. The meal was not particularly hot. Perhaps not the place for me but was organised by a friend.
N. D.
Lovely views across the golf course, shame about some of the bushes in need of cutting back, could have seating on grass area close to the fence instead of tucked away a dark corner, plenty of oarking, didn't sample the food due to food not being served for outside seating, could be possible with table numbers,
D. M.
Great value breakfast buffet and friendly staff.
D. S.
Great for a few beers after a round of golf, large selection of food also, nice beer garden to watch the 18th hole
S. T.
Meal excellent 20min wait for food to be cooked and considering nearly all tables full very good. Waitress Emma was great but rushed off feet so left a good tip. Very friendly and chef talks in the background and it sounds like Mr bean talking so was amusing too 😁
S. O.
Ate in the bar area for lunch, was very pleasant. Service was quick and friendly, portions were well worth the money and food was delicious. Will be going back more often 😊
A. B.
Good food, brilliant staff extremely helpful. Thank you for my birthday treat from staff xx
P.
Always stay here for work, last time I was here was just after lock down and was a massive disappointment. Things have improved. Food was nice, service was OK we did end up having to wait nearly 30mins for our bill though despite it not being busy. Saying that I would not hesitate in going back again.
L.
Staff were phenomenal. I went with a client I support, first day I asked if I could take it to the room, they went out their way to do so for us, then the second day they helped me too when I had to go take the client back to the room. They wrre so so kind, caring and considerate and all had lovely personalities. Loved this place! Thank you all x
P. T.
My wife and I called on Sunday 20/02/22 just by chance .We were greeted by brilliant staff and we selected the roast beef lunch. To say we were impressed is a gross understatement.I honestly can’t remember having a better roast lunch away from home than this.As my wife and I are both in our 70s and can’t eat as much as we used to do we brought enough of the beef home which will make us some lovely beef sandwiches.I must mention our waitress Carol who looked after us both brilliantly.Nothing was too much trouble for her.We Will definitely return in the future.
S. B.
Great breakfast really busy today, but no waiting time. Staff were great 👍
M. R.
Very good service. Meals werevery good but did feel they didn't give many chips. Counted 12 chips with my steak!! Other than that would recommend the quality of the steaks offered.
I. H.
On Sunday 17/10/21 my wife and I along with 2 others treated ourselves to an engagement celebration meal, I arranged for glasses and champagne to be on table when we arrived. The staff did not disappoint, they were superb throughout the evening. The food was as always excellent.
My thanks to Tim, Kate and especially Paige who looked after us magnificently.
A. M.
Really nice dinner with the grandkids. Food was good as was the service.
T.
Really a great place great staff v friendly. Had a great meal, ordered a particular bottle of wine that was out of stock. To our surprise the gent running the restaurant replaced FOC with a found bottle at the original cost even though we had started drinking the other. What fabulous service. Well done staff! We will be back!
N. M.
Meal was worst one if had for a long while. Starter had the lemon wedge under the prawns and I had the root of the lettuce in my dish. When it came to the main it wasn't chargrilled but charred and tasted burnt. The chips looked overcooked but weren't cooked at all. Only pro I had a voucher that meant I only paid for one meal
I. H. (.
We were staying at the adjacent Premier Inn so the receptionist was able to book us in for dinner on the August Bank Holiday Monday. Despite the fact that they’d obviously had a busy weekend the service from Adrian & Poppy was excellent. They were both friendly and efficient. The restaurant is having supply chain problems and to avoid disappointment provided a list with our menu of items that were not available. There was plenty of choice left though and we were soon enjoying our meals. My Smothered Chicken Breast which came with skinny fries, salad and coleslaw was delicious. My husband enjoyed his Classic Cheeseburger with Chunky Chips and coleslaw and a side order of onion rings. We shared a chocolate brownie sundae for afters. It was perfect comfort food.
S. S.
Excellent service, excellent food and super friendly staff. Highly recommended from my many visits there.
A. S.
The restaurant itself is very comfortable and welcoming, The staff are generally kind and welcoming too, unfortunately however some staff do seem to forget to ask about what chips you would like with your meal and do not think that because the menu states triple cooked chips come with the meal you will get them because you're mistaken. If you then ask for them once you're food has arrived some staff become sarcastic in their responses.
the food itself however is very appealing and delicious. unfortunately though the sugar and alcohol tax does bump the drinks prices though the roof. if you have a discount code let them know before the bill arrives again some staff do not ask.
G. P.
Food was great with good service. Best were garlic mushrooms with yummy homemade BBQ sauce.
C. M.
Excellent steak and friendly service. Limited wine list but I got by!
W. C.
Absolutely lovely meal the chicken crunch burger was amazing and so was the Cobb salad and was served by the lovely Carole 10/10 experience
J. P.
Lovely food, good service.Lovely evening meeting up with dear friends
D. S.
Excellent very friendly staff, perfect lunch menu and inexpensive, recommended
C. B.
Service was reasonable but one of our group ordered a steak which turned out to be very fatty and tasteless.
M. R.
Ran out of T bone steak mid week. Very few chips, small meal with mushrooms being the only positive
W. B.
The Beefeater next to the premier Inn with views of the golf course. In the evening most of the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, very warm and friendly welcome. The morning staff were unbelievably friendly and welcoming from walking in explained everything in a professional manner, I recommend the beefeater and I will visit again.
O. D.
Very friendly young man behind the counter, food was nice, steak slightly overcooked but still juicy and tender so didn't send it back. Will visit again in the summer and utilise the beer garden.
J. C.
I stayed at the premier inn next door and had the all you can eat breakfast, great choice and food came cooked well and hot
G. M.
Had a lovely meal here with our grandchildren. Kids menu was excellent, lots of choice. The main menu was good too and we were very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, especially AmyMarie. Definitely look forward to visiting again soon.
T. L.
Food was nice need more staff though service slow queuing at the bar
P. P.
The food was incredible, I had a mixed grill and usually do in 5/this kind of establishment and was happy with all items except the chips were slightly undercooked for me. As for the meat, simply delicious. The car park was a little tight getting in and I can't help but feel people pop in to the cycling shop only to validate parking. Overall one of my favourite visits to a beefeater, myself and cycling partner has added it to the list of approved places to dine - c.£19.99. Next time I want to try your roast dinners... Mops up dribble.
D. H.
Went here to celebrate a milestone birthday. Got a good deal with reward card. Nice location and friendly staff.
C. H.
Delicious meal, I had the mixed grill and it was one of the best I've ever had. Unlimited chips and bottomless soft drinks topped it off nicely.
C. H.
Amazing food and service highly recommended going again today 👌
M.
Lovely attentive staff, one of the best beefeaters we've been to. Don't even come that often but Manager always remembers our drinks order, even after over a year with covid! Steak always cooked as asked and fast service
A. C.
Having owned & operated pub-restaurants (not locally), I know 'Beefeater' establishments have been at the top for years, as perhaps offering the impression to being "the ideal place too order a steak". That - in my honest opinion - is no longer the case.
This establishment felt like we were visiting/using in an upmarket cafe-restaurant.
Since a prior, pre-COVID visit, It now feels more lighter inside the building (it were previously with very dark corners / areas). **This aspect is a wonderful change**
It also felt like a fairly recent 'paint/decorating job' (internally), had taken place too.
If you like chips with your meal (highly desirable with a steak!!), you get a mini-metal flowerpot... holding 2oz (about a tea cup full)!! Easy to count how many 'thick cut' chips you get!! You have to ask for more or they do not offer them and the portion size is under border-line acceptability. A absolutely typical, cost control method from Whitbread 😐
Unfortunately not a place to rush out too, but continuing discounting/money saver vouchers lures you in.
Expect to pay £40 > £70 for a two course + one drink X 2 persons visiting. If £30 isnl your top amount of disposable cash, then go elsewhere.
As a comparable, consider the 'Harvester' at Serpentine Green....more atmosphere, cheery staff, an entertainingly 'flamboyant Manager' and abundance of light ..to read the menu and see your meal.
M. B.
The food we had from breakfast to tea was very good the salt and pepper calamari was supurb. The staff were all very pleasant, friendly.. and acted in a professional manner when 1 customer kicked off. Thank you for a good weekend..
B. R.
Nice food, nice staff, only the place needs decorating.
P. R.
Good value food at lunchtimes, outside seating area leaves a lot to be desired. The service was very good and very efficient, all the staff that served us were very friendly and helpful. Could do with more outside seating at the back which overlooks a golf course rather than the front
K.
Limited vegan choice, but staff were great and friendly picked a rubbish weather day to go but staff were really attentive and even when it got chilly as we were sat in the shade our fault they let us sit on the front of the grass with our pitcher so it wasn't wasted and several other customers followed suit too as it was too chilly in the shade. No complaints for food was really tasty. Hope to be back soon.
I. C.
Very good place. Nice look. Delicious food.
M. S.
Visit 2 or 3 times a year and can always be relied on for quality and service.
S. C.
Our meals were perfect, but desert took a turn for the worse. My son had a Knickerbocker glory type desert and hurt one of his teeth on a plastic sauce cap. They took his name and address and took the pud off the bill. I think that as far as it will go.
c. r.
On a sunny Sunday with lots of people over ferry meadows and the outside seating full, no food available at the bar. Planning/organisation??
r. w.
Brilliant, steak was cooked perfectly and the waitress was lovely.
B. W.
Time between .meals was too long over 2hrs for 3 course meal staff abd food good
F. b.
Gorgeous meal. Carol was a superb host and that was shown in the tip. Superb T bone, gorgeous food well recommended
J. B.
Love it there take grandchildren when ever we can. Always great service. Xx
T.
Fantastic! We’re regulars here and they always do a good job! Tonight they smashed it! Cleanliness of the dining areas and toilets was brilliant. We visited an expensive steak resultant recently (Middletons) The Granary was better hands down and I extend my gratitude to our waitress and the kitchen staff. My “Our Best mixed grill” was nothing short of exceptional in quality, presentation, flavour and value. As we frequently do, we’ll be back soon and the Beefeater Granary remains our FAVOURITE place to dine in Peterborough. Well done team!

Ignore all negative reviews.
This place has taken top place on our list of favourite restaurants.
We had never been to this beefeater until last night, immediately once your inside its lovely, everything you touch is dust free and exceptionally clean even the toilets.
The staff were very welcoming and really friendly and pleasant, table service was quick and very pleasant.
The food was exceptionally tasty, the big daddy burger was what a burger should be, the sides especially the mac and cheese was the best we've ever eaten and the deserts were not only a genourous Potion but really tasty aswell, please don't get rid of the hazelnut dome that was heaven on a plate.
I'd give this place 11/10, we cannot wait to come back and look forward to our next visit.
B. H.
Weve just had a great meal here, food was excellent, all 5 of us enjoyed our meals and desserts.
Our Waitress was so helpful and attentive.
We were given a box of chocolates and card for our birthday girl, lovely touch.
Thank you Amy 😊
X. H.
They know exactly what they're doing with their meat! Cooked beautifully.. made a rare date night perfect.
C. G.
I went here with my friend today and tbh I was expecting i bit more for the outside seating area , I know today was bad weather raining and quite windy but considering that the restaurant had been closed to customers for a number of months due to covid restrictions i thought that a bit more of an effort would of been put it into keeping customers dry and warm if it was raining. The outside seating had not been adapted at all and was still a table with an umbrella. That being said the staff were lovely and the food was very nice .
f. D.
Absolutely one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had, all employees were friendly but our server was incredible and the team even brought me a birthday gift and card cannot fault a single thing
R. S.
Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely evening meal for the family
P. R.
Love this place.
Four of us went here for lunch after a lovely long walk round Ferry Meadows.
Second time I've had fish and chips and it's still the best for miles. Very crispy batter 😋😋
Great service, friendly staff, delicious hot food. No complaints from us 😊
A. P.
Great food at good prices. Staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Good free parking too (as long as you eat here), with access to Ferry Meadows close by!
t. l.
Great atmosphere .The lady serving was excellent thankyou Carole. Food was great Very fast service we don't have to wait too long for our food
S. S.
A huge restaurant with great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, lovely food and fantastic service.
D. (.
Very nice welcoming atmosphere. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food was amazing and cooked to a high standard. Only downside was that the majority of customers seemed to all be seated by staff close together. Not normally an issue but with covid still about I think space could of been utilised more.
P. M.
Very nice Buffet Breakfast deffo recommend 👌
S. M.
Enjoyed both meals & drinks here, good food and friendly staff. Must book on weekends as can get very busy.
R. A.
Had 2 meals here while staying at Premier Inn. First was wonderful, second was disappointing.
J. D.
Food was good but service was slow and menu was limited. We had booked for 10 people weeks ago but whole festive menu was sold out and we went at 5pm!!
Steak was limited as was couple of starters - why have a festive menu and not cater for it. As I say when we got our food it was good but a bit pricey especially puddings most were over £6. We had a nice family evening but would not rush back
J.
Good food. They were very accommodating to my special food request & service was good. Nice atmosphere too.
A. P.
The place was nice and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. I'd tried to book on-line but there were no tables available before 8:45 so I decided to walk there and just have a beer around 5pm, only to find it virtually empty, so I don't know why I couldn't book earlier. Anyway, I got a seat, and ate around 6:30. All Covid rules were clealy laid out and being adhered to other that a couple of children wandering around oblivious. Parents - your children are your responsibility, please supervise them!
p. c.
Good service. served by paige, very friendly
R. W.
Excellent meal and first class service. The new menu is great with something for everyone and the sweets were fantastic. Generous helpings at every course.
T. B.
Nice food and ample amount with great choice friendly staff so delighted. Only strange thing Zi could not find a car park area although I am willing to be corrected hence I have no problem giving 5 stars even going back for a Boxing Day meal
A. C.
. Meal was very good and staff are very friendly .Very good service.
B. W.
The waitress made our experience great. Okay-ish place. Customers park in the cycling/golf shop and validate the ticket in the restaurant. Toilet is dated. If not for the waitress it would be a score of 3
P. P.
Great place with good food. Have visited many times. Prefer to have a table overlooking the golf course as the lighting is very dark throughout the whole restaurant.
R. G.
Family meal. Staff were perfect. Meals arrived together. They had limited menus as trouble with deliveries but still enough choice to enjoy.
T. H.
It had been a while since we were last at The Granary. It was fast, efficient service & good food. It was not too busy/noisy (one small advantage of a socially distanced restaurant!). The time between ordering & the serving of food was very fast & the food was delicious. Of course, this restaurant is 'on our doorstep' & we should return if we don't want to wander far from home.
J. S.
Fantastic customer service. Lovely food. Cooked well and polite friendly staff that made us and the kids feel very welcome. Thanks guys
C. D.
Very nice roast lunch. Quickly and efficiently delivered to our table by the brilliant Julia. Lovely food presented well.
The only downside was the food was not hot enough.
Would visit again.
Used 33% discount voucher...Very welcome.
E.
We have had 3 very nice dinners and 3 good breakfasts. Staff have been very helpful and cheerful.
S. F.
Excellent meal and great service.
l. p.
Really love it here we was served by Natile the service was brilliant. The food was lovely highly recommend it here
N. G.
Very enjoyable visit. Service was excellent as was the staff/waitress.
Good menu. Certainly will return.
A. S.
Friendly welcome and served quite quickly. Good if slightly limited menu, generous portion size and reasonable prices.
B. W.
Four of us went for Sunday lunch and we all ordered lamb as we don't get it very often and where looking forward. It looked very nice when it arrived. However the lamb was very fatty and almost inedible. We asked for a serrated knives but the lamb was still almost impossible to cut and great lumps of fat were left on the plates. The staff were very sympathetic and did give us a discount without us asking. We then heard a waitress at a nearby table telling the customers not to have lamb. Not sure we would go again.
D. R.
Went here for breakfast with some of the girls and it was lovely. All you can eat fried English breakfast and a full range of continental all for a great price. The bacon was cooked exactly how I liked it and the pastries are always fresh. My only regret is I didn't eat more.

So pleased with our visit!
Staff where so helpful and food where so good! Also, I can assure that this place is breastfeeding safe zone! We definitely will be returning !
J. B.
Good selection for breakfast.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
No berry compote though.
S. S.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty and reasonable priced
G. B.
We had a lovely meal. Service was excellent, aswell as the appearance of all the dishes.would definitely recommend to others
R.
Good service, but personally think overpriced for the portion you get. I ordered a steak but didn't get the mac and cheese which should have come with the surf and turf! Jake the waiter had absolutely fantastic service. Keep up your fantastic hospitality. Overall a lively place, will recommend to others. :)
D. N.
Ok place. We waited for too long for the staff to come to take our drinks order. I suggest that the person who shows you to your table should ask for drinks order. Food nice.
G. G.
Lovely food excellent waitress in Jasmine, very attentive, professional and approachable. Only downside was the cleanliness of the toilets - for this they would get -1 star.
W. J.
Great bit of steak. Expensive at full price but with a coupon was well worth it. Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had, but have not had many fillets in my time. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too, overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable meal.
J. B.
Great meal out with my wife. Food was good and service exceptional. Special mention to our server Charli who could not have been more pleasant and helpful.
M. D.
Our favourite place to go to have a drink and a meal after a walk in nearby ferry meadows. Very pleasant environment, spacious area easy to get a table. Very friendly staff and quick excellent service.
Catering for all tastes, with lots to choose from, from the menu. Allergy advice highlighted
V.
Nice staff and food.Meat was excellent, but not a fan of the Sundaes. Good selection of starters as well.
K. B.
Delicious Sunday roast with good selection of vegetables.
Waitress Paige was amazinging fast and lovely with it !
D. C.
First post lockdown meal! Excellent food in a very well organized covid safe environment.
Our waitress Kelly H communicated well & provided us with a very friendly & efficient table service!
K. B.
Great food as always lovely atmosphere and friendly staff look forword to coming back soon recommended to friends they had a great meal too thank you
R. S.
My friends and I are regular customers here and have always been very satisfied with the food and service. The lunch menu is extremely good value. I would normally have given a full 5 star rating, but on my last visit 4th Feb, being disabled and use a wheelchair for access from car etc. I was very disappointed to see a builders skip taking up one of only 2 disabled parking bays. This is simply not good enough with todays standards of disabled facilities. It does not put me off from my monthly visits but It is something which should be addressed and failing to do so may well mean I have to find another venue.
R. E.
Its got a pleasant atmospherebut is dimly lit.
J. T.
Great food nice setting! Be warned tho ordered 2 child's meal (meal, dessert and drink) for £5.49 and didnt come off bill as it's only certain drinks. This only states in small print on menu not by the drinks like the extra cost for desserts are.
A. G.
Steak sandwich for lunch. Steak was cold and overcooked and overwhelmed by the foccacia in which it was served. Food table service very slapdash. Good skinny fries. Won't be rushing back any time soon.
S. G.
Nice atmosphere, rapid service. Watch out for parking fines from the hotel next door
T. W.
Great ambiance, super service from staff who are very attentive to the needs of the customer. Excellent food, especially steaks (only to be expected from a Beefeater) and at a very competitive price. My wife and I are frequent dinners. Also stick a wide range of ales and lagers.
I. C.
Very helpful and friendly staff. My food was excellent, however my wife's chicken was dry and overcooked, the waitress apologised but nothing else was said or done about it. This is why I'm not giving the full 5 stars.
H. E.
Quality breakfast, good social distancing, friendly and quick service, I'd highly recommend eating here. It's no frills, but, all you can eat for £8.99 each..... Its a no brainer!
J. G.
Excellent food and great service!
Make sure to book in advance as this place seems to always be extremely busy, but it's certainly worth it!
Also they only have two Blue Badge Holders parking spaces. They could do with more.
From 01/10/2018, the car park shared with the bicycles shop and the golf club will become a pay car park, or so it seems... :-(

Very friendly staff. The food is always nice and fresh and doesn't take long to arrive at your table. The place is always clean and tidy and is such a welcoming environment love coming here for fathersday breakfast or any special occasion. If you love food and enjoy spending time with your family the effect place to take them and be.
J. S.
Were out of several things due to logistics but food was good, staff were friendly. Very quiet in there.
P. C.
Excellent food.
Friendly, polite staff, especially 'Paige' 😊
Never a bad visit to The Granary
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
M. S.
Nice food and good prices. Not too busy during lunch time.
R. R.
A really great time!! Me and the girlfriend visited after an evening walk around ferry meadows. As we entered we were told the restaurant was full but the bar area had some tables we could use. We were told on sunny days they get very busy. We were happy to sit in the bar area. The food was cooked well and portions were perfect. Free re fills on Pepsi max was a massive bonus. The price is a bit more than its competitors but was worth it.
M. T.
The food was fab, a great price for 'pub food'.. fast food service. It look a rather long time to be seated.. we had to go and find a waitress, because we were stood waiting by the desk for a few minutes being ignored, who then seemed irritated that we had done so and still couldn't help us. But the staff we had were lovely once we were seated.
F. O.
We went for a Christmas meal get together using the Meerkat meals so got great value every one loved their food. Filled chicken with triple cooked perfect chips. Some had steak and prawns and ribs all good. Really kind and helpful waitress too
j.
Very good meal. Took a long time to be served after ordering but was told by the waiter one of the chefs had called in sick so was short staffed In the kitchen. When we got the bill we hadn't been charged for a round of drinks and my son's pudding by way of compensation. Would recommend
T. G.
Food is very good but the staff are absolutely excellent, very polite and very quick with everything they do. For a chain type restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. The only thing that let any part of the experience down for me was to find that the tips dont go to the staff that served you
K. E.
Excellent service, wonderful food, can't wait for next time So much fun too ++
A. E.
We ate early evening as a large family group the food was ok and served promptly. We did have a waitress who didn't enjoy her work and seemed to resent our custom. She was in contrast to her colleagues who couldn't have been nicer.
J. H.
Great staff . great food . win win .
T. J.
Good friendly staff and great food lovely mothers day meal
R. J.
The menu is very good and contemporary, there are many items I'd choose and the £5 lunch menu is very good value.
On the down side is this venue is looking tired, there is a reception counter that no one manned and we waited for a passing member of staff to ask if we needed anything for nearly 10 minutes
We ordered and as I was having a steak I expected a bit of a wait which wasn't too bad at all, as I was having a steak I really wanted some English mustard which our server said she would get, she then went off two tables behind us to generally chat with the occupants, she finished with them and walked off, I was hoping she was getting my mustard but no, I ended up having to go and find her to remind her of the mustard, the surprise on her face told the story succinctly of how she had forgot us.
I am a beefeater loyalty card member but I will not be rushing back to the Granary very quickly. My final thought is that while the service was poor the food was excellent
C. N.
My wife and I and two friends stayed at the adjacent Premier Inn. We went in for our meal at 7.30pm and taken immediately to our table. Social distancing was great and there were plenty of hand sanitizer stations.
I ordered the extra large fillet steak, over £20 and my friend had the mixed grill. We didn't have to wait too long for service but when we asked for English mustard our waitress said they only serve Dijon mustard, which is generally used in cooking.
When we had spent almost £40 on our two meals not to have a choice of mustard was very disappointing and Colenan's mustard is made in the next county, Norfolk.
O. M.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff

What a difference a day makes! The next evening we visited again. We had booked a table this time Our waitress, Amy, was so very helpful and pleasant. The food was excellent and the children happy.l Thankyou!
We visited yesterday with our two grandchildren. We were shown to our table (after we felt we’d been reprimanded for not booking - even though there were plenty of empty tables while we were there). We ordered food for the children from the kids menu. However we failed to notice that the deal included a drink. I appreciate this was our fault but The waitress never mentioned that a drink was included. Surely she should have asked us what drink the children wanted as it was included! (We had just paid almost £6.00 for two cokes which is extortionate). Also one of the children had the burger which included two pieces of corn on the cob (according to the menu). The meal arrived with just one piece which our grandchild immediately noticed and commented on. I spoke to the person who had showed us to our table and her explanation was they used to cut the one piece into two (and considering the piece on the plate was only about an inch wide I find this hard to believe). I did say to her that this is a child she’s talking to - they read two pieces are included so they expect two pieces! if I was in her job I would have simply apologised and fetched another piece - if would hardly break the bank!!! So maybe staff could be advised to point out the free drink included in the child’s menu and assure it comes out with all the items listed on the menu.

A nice and pleasant place to eat, staff are friendly and helpful to all nationalities... would definitely eat here again.
Self serve on hot drinks (full range Inc herbal) breakfast is ordered and made up..and you can ask for gluten free toast or bread...which is better than nothing.
S. R. (.
Nice friendly establishment, popular with passing trade, golf club and regulars. Our servers on Friday and Sunday were particularly friendly and happy to help!
D. J.
The bar and restaurant have recently reopened following covid restrictions. Bar area is well set out catering for social distancing. Breakfast is now served to the table replacing buffet. Food was very good and staff very helpful
N. L.
Great food, lovely staff. Best place to go if you want a good meal out
S. D.
Quick service, waitress was very polite and efficient. Meals were very nice, steak was cooked to perfection.
R. B.
Beefeater has increased their quality over time, the steaks are super. Staff excellent and very attentive. Not sure about the fish ( salmon) though, but overall well run with good salads etc. Not cheap but good value for money. I well recommend it.
A. H.
Excellent service from all staff members and the waitress dealt with a table of 7 very well. The food was great and served quickly and correctly. Will definitely visit again.
G. P.
Great service, food was ok/good but could have been better
M. S.
Stuffed! The only complaint about this restaurant is that it's not clear where you are allowed to park. There is a sign inside to say go through the barriers but the only barriers are for the golf club 🤷♂️
S. H.
Amazing food and majority of the waiting staff were amazing
C. B.
Friendly staff especially Anita, good selection of food even though some was in short supply due to distribution problems, reasonably priced with vouchers
T.
Good meat, gets busy on a night so if you want table service you should book a table, but you can get food in the bar still. Friendly service. If staying in the premier Inn next door you can pay £25 & get a 2 course meal (most things on the menu, the free that aren't you pay a few quid extra for) and a drink (soft/wine/ale/lager) and a breakfast (full English or continental)
P. M.
Good quality food, although not too much quantity for the money paid. It also took an hour for my food to come out. The breakfast however was very good. Great quality and service.
T. S.
Cosy, friendly people, fast service. Very clean and nice view of the golf course.
j. a.
Large Beefeater with a large bar. Lots of tables. Not wheelchair friendly. This restaurant serves average food and the steaks weren't up to scratch despite this chain having a reputation for steak. The other food was ok but certain dishes lacked the detail the menu described.
This place can get very busy and the service time suffers as a result, if you're not in a rush then it should be ok.
R. B.
It was a little slow to get seated and served, but understandable considering covid restrictions and it was the middle of the day.
Our server was very good with our boys and the food was served quickly after the initial delay
S. B.
Had a lovely meal here yesterday, steak was just awesome and we will definitely be calling in again. Waitress Nicole was very friendly and polite, couldn't ask for anymore.. 5* allday long..
K. B.
Clean and tidy quick enough with the service but the early bird menu was not readily available, and I was made to feel awkward for asking for it. I was with a party of 9, 8 of those ordered from festive or normal menu, which was short of several items that we asked to pre order in advance, but we're told on the phone, it wasn't necessary.
Unavailable both cheese starters camembert and the Brie.
No festive Sundaes.. the pub was very quiet only a few tables occupied and 6/8 in the bar. 230pm-4pm visit.
Advanced ordering is important too ensure that your choices will be available.....
Duty manager was helpful, just under the same pressure of Christmas as us all it seemed.
P. K.
Heading up to York after our wedding on Thursday so overnight stay at the Premier Inn. We had a superb evening meal Saturday then a lovely breakfast Sunday morning.
Staff were so nice and friendly plus very efficient.
People out playing golf at 7.30am too!
T. B.
Nice place, friendly staff and laid out well with the covid situation but not the best food.
Steak was not the best cut and expensive. Don't mind paying for good quality but this was far from that!
H. m.
Lovely food and service 👍
j. w.
Staff not helpful waitress putting her hair in plats behind bar but food was good
L. B.
Visited on a super hot day and it was amazing walking into the Granary, so spacious, beautifully laid out and very cool in there bonus! Inside theres a seperate pub part to the left,we were eating so went up a few stairs to the restaurant which is very open plan with a few levels and an open kitchen so you can see chefs cooking. The seating is great as its well spaced out so your not on top of other diners which is a definate plus!. Our waitress was Nicole, what a lovely young girl she is, super friendly and accomodating she definately excels in the customer service department made our visit that bit more enjoyable.
P. J.
Lovely place, clean and very welcoming.. Service and Staff so nice.. Food was excellent so glad we called in...
C. S.
Nice food and quite reasonable prices on the lunchtime menu.
Selection of real ales Doombar is the staple ale here but ask what guest ales they have on draft.
S. G.
Returned for the first time since march. Feels very well laid out. Great food and plenty of familiar faces with the staff. Looking forward to going back.
D. G.
Average pub serving drinks & average food in a nice setting. I had tuna steak which was overcooked but eadible served with a rather nondescript portion of vegetables. I will not be rushing back but handy if you are using the Premier Inn next door !!
S. O.
What a Great Place this is. Set inside Ferry Meadows . It's like stepping into a Swiss Chalet. The staff are friendly and can't do enough to help. Food is fantastic never had any complaints . Perfect for a large family gathering.
P. B.
Good food at a good price with great service
D.
Everything I ordered was good...however my partner sent her first steak back. By the time another came back I had finished my meal. Waiting staff very good and seated quickly despite being very busy.
J.
Prompt response and great service. Went for breakfast. Food was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff
J. D.
Went with family for breakfast, so there was a few of us, the staff were lovely and so was the food. Always seems to run out of pastries though!
C. D.
Great food and excellent service from Katie not from Toby carvery
S. T.
Good food, excellent staff who are very pleasant and friendly. We go most weeks and thoroughly recommend the Granary.
R. S.
We have had several meals here and the quality has been excellent. Staff very pleasant and helpful with my wheelchair needs. Prices are somewhat high but not really much different to others locally. I don't mind paying for good quality food, service and a good plate of food
J. A.
Very nice food and lovely surroundings.
Staff were very professional and friendly, would definitely recommend it.
M. H.
Good food, service & staff also very good
S. A.
Been here a few times, one occasion was a very poor experience but was resolved amicably and has no bearing on this scoring and review.
It is looking tired and dated. It is quite dark and unappealing with an overbearing dark wood theme throughout. The food is basic run of the mill fare and some of it was cold by the time we got to eat it.
We are not planning to return any time soon but if we do I hope it has had a much needed facelift, lighten the woodwork, will make a lot of difference
j. s.
food was ok, had the fish and chips there but nothing special and the fish was overcooked. service was excellent. other dishes we have tried there had been better than the fish and chips. you do have to pay for car parking now but if you go to the restaurant you put in your number plate and it is paid for you.
R. Y.
Absolutely lovely place and clean and the staff are really polite and it's a nice and warm welcome
D. C.
It's been a few years since I last paid a visit and I was impressed at how much it's changed. Service was great along with the food. No issues at all! (8 people in total)
P. b.
Lovely dinner today we really enjoyed it
C. “. B. B.
Great experience was had by our little family at this place. The food was pretty good and the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and was happy to accommodate. Would recommend for families with small children as they have high chairs too.
A. W.
Always love this place, atmosphere, staff and food never disappoint.... Will be coming back year after year no doubt
C. H.
Really good meal had the lobster stack. Delish. Very busy so a bit slow but waitress was excellent. Great seating plan, private sections. Barefoot wine yummy 😋
S. B.
Staff where very good, some of the decor is old and tatty. Was annoyed when told the kids could have a coke, they were only allowed diet or max, did not know the beefeater had parently over our children
C. W.
Lovely food and friendly staff had chicken wings and haddock and chips and caramel apple Betty. The best dinner out I've had in ages
W. C.
Had a lovely full English breakfast here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the pub was lovely and clean.
d. s.
Cooked to perfection really tasty
A. L.
Food was lovely but it tuck 50 min for our food to be served to us . There were 11 of us . They should have had more staff .but there were some empty tables so dread to think what it would have been like if they were fully booked
a. s.
I was deciding between four and five star but ended up on five.
Value for money and really good prices. I will definately go again 100 percent.
The best stake pie I have ever had was just disappointed that is was not home made. Theres a lot of use of soya bean and was not happy when is was in my vegetables. Cant believe I did not take a pic of my meal but will definately next time.
S.
Lovely quickly and hot served meal. Very friendly and polite staff.
I'm sure we will come back again as food is very tasty
P. R.
Very good breakfast, environment and service. My only criticism was that it took a couple of requests for them to get the eggs right; they kept coming out slimy when I asked them to cook them well. Otherwise, great.
T. D.
I had a tasty rack of ribs in BBQ sauce, followed by sticky toffee pud. The service was efficient and safe. An enjoyable experience!
C. B.
Great food, great prices and polite and efficient staff, what more do you want?
Y. H.
Used as a bar for a drink as staying in the Premier Inn next door. Pleasant staff good real ale.
S. C.
The Granary was not crowded and the staff wore masks. The food was lovely and the staffbwere great. Had a lovely lunch.
S. o. t. (.
Went here for a family meal. My brothers wife had just had a child and they where very accommodating for the push chair. The food was good, and my dads steak actually came out cooked the way he asked.
M.
Staff were friendly and attentive, very professional. Food was first class as was the service. Will definitely be back.
L. C.
Very polite friendly staff good food ,shame not dog friendly in bar area as many places are in local area .
M. L. H.
The lady who welcomed us was great BUT there was no toilet roll in two toilets and a seven minutes wait for our drinks. We could see them on a tray near a hatch. We left before the drinks arrived.
P. S.
Always a great meal at the Granary. Brilliant service and very friendly staff.
D. F.
Had 3 courses off lunch menu which was tasty & excellent value
I.
The food is excellent. Staff are very friendly. I will always go when I am out that way.
M. P.
Always been a lively pub when visited before. What a disappointment our visit was today. Waited fifteen minutes to get a drink with only one, but competent bar person serving and taking the food orders on a fairly quiet afternoon. We eventually decided to order food but the daytime value menu advertised was apparently not available in December. The dishes ordered were of reasonable quality but absolutely overpriced. Good gastropubs offer far higher quality food and presentation for the same prices. My gammon would have been a third of the price at Weatherspoons and would include a drink. Whitbread, you are losing the plot.
J.
The food was ok I had the bbq ribs. The prices were what you'd expect. The only thing I would say is that the service was a bit slow and they didn't seem to be that busy so I'm not sure what they'd be like if they had more than a few tables of customers in.
S. T.
Great location and a great restaurant to have your Sunday dinner.
Great staff members who were very helpful, reasonable prices and big nice portions!
S. B.
Very friendly, prompt service.
D. R.
Always great food and service
G. C.
First time back since lockdown, usual friendly staff, reduced menu. Wife had chicken and ribs I had mixed grill, well cooked and tasty.
J. N.
Great atmosphere. Very attentive waiting staff. Lovely food. Didn't have to wait long.
G. T.
Excellent choice , great food, nice view of golf course and lovely, helpful waitress. Have to say the trifle was light and yummy! Couldn't ask for more.
J. T.
Popped in for lunch. Good food and amazing service. Jamie waited on us today and he was amazing despite being run off his feet...what ever you pay him it's not enough....star member of your team. I've been to this resturant countless times and have always received faultless service but todays experience was the best yet!!
L. C.
Lovely food and service! They have really done their best to make guests feel safe.
h. f.
I love it here my son had his 13th birthday meal here server was great finding alternative puddings for my 5 year old who is allergic to dairy great staff great atmosphere beautiful food. Kids menu is great value
B. B.
Excellent service and the steak was cooked to perfection.
J. W.
Lovely meal and lovely staff thankyou
K. E.
Excellent service, good food. Friendly staff.
P. T.
Food was very nice, service was friendly and efficient.
C. N.
Great food at a great price . Service spot on too
D. G.
We used our tastecard so buy one get one free, so excellent value, and a good quality meal.
Will definitely be back on our next trip to Ferry Meadows Caravan site.
D. M.
Great food and friendly service
R. C.
Really nice place to eat, fantastic staff and food. Also very accommodating. Very highly recommended.
A. B.
I had a very nice salmon salad and the staff were very nice and Friendly
J. S.
A nice restaurant with a friendly environment, a good selection and helpful staff.
My only complaints being that the fish was not the best quality for the price and that they got rid of the quorn halloumi burger after massively reducing the size of the halloumi in said burger.
Other than that I would highly recommend it.
P. O.
There for a birthday celebration, good food and absolutely amazing waitress. Only one small neg when I arrived I had a good 5 min wait before someone came to show me to the table
G. B.
Staff friendly. Quick and efficient service
a. g.
Staff very nice . Sat outside big tables. Only limited menu at the moment due to covid
S. G.
Told we had to be quick because the table was booked after us, then snail pace service. Waited ages for main and dessert. Steak was overcooked.
G. W.
Really made to feel welcome. Waitress Julie was outstanding, always ready to see to our needs. Would certainly return.
C. J.
A few simple choices for vegetarians, but glad its open. Very good gluten-free chips, very potatoey but crispy too.
R. C.
Great service as always, really can not beat the breakfast here especially when 2 kids eat free per adult.
M. F.
Great food and service for a fiver on the lunch menu. The menu had 10 different dishes for £5!!!!! If you never been here before. You should come on your next meal out.
M. K.
Very good service even though we had to ask for the cheaper day menu! Food good but hot custard on a cold late cools quickly!
G. W.
Good service, good food, poor choice of ale, only 1 available..
P.
Meal was average but acceptable. Had to wait 40mins from ordering to meal arriving- very busy this time of year (summer hols). Best to book a table.
P. J.
Very well looked after by the staff having dropped in on a weekday lunchtime with no reservation. Good selections on the menus and reasonable prices.
H. W.
Table was booked for 5.30pm we have only just got home at 8.35pm.Upon arrival the wasn't anybody to greet us at the waiting area point had to wait several minuites to be seated,we has a disabled person with us aswell. It appeared to be under staffed I beleave the manager was plesent and helpfull helping to serve. We has to ask the waitress for refills and wasn't asked again. So not worth paying for the refill. The food was ok when it arrived but not worth the money that was spent.
J. E.
Not bad food. My steak was a little when it should have been medium rare. Not worth £24. The price knocked off one star.
g.
staff polite and helpful.
L. S.
Fantastic service, very good quality of food and my meal was only 5 quid! Would highly recommend coming here with friends or family.
J. L.
Tasty food reasonably priced. Pleasant staff.
R. O.
Reasonably priced 'Family" restaurant, service and food was not great the last time we visited, but previously has been OK. Kids steak was tough and chewy, but they knocked it off the bill. Parking available, just sign in at the restaurant desk, with your Reg number. Overall a great place for a family meal!
A. S.
Went here for a steak and chill with the boys. Unlimited chips, nice one! Food was good and good service. Would eat again!
C. H.
Excellent steaks. Lots unavailable on the menu but very happy with the service and quality of food. Also the MeerKat 241 helped keep the price down.
V. P.
Delicious meal and zingy wine had a very enjoyable evening but I didn't photo my meal not into that unless Stuart has cooked it.
M. R.
Decent breakfast except for the poached eggs which for all four of us had hard yolks. I watch MasterChef and know it's not that difficult to produce an egg with a perfect yolk
T. B.
Good food good service
J. M.
Friendly staff, good for what it was.
K. G.
Nice place, but the food was not so good. Burgers ok but stakes were awful. They have not unfrosted the meat well and you tasted more water than meat.
J. N.
Nice place food wasnt to bad approximately £20 a head which is usual main restaurant places so wouldn't stay your "pub lunch" prices but staff were amazing gave her a good tip and left happy.
R. S.
Great food with a decent atmosphere and good service. Overall a decent meal.
T. W.
Reasonable priced meals served all day, service was a little slow food was nice when it did arrive, good portion size. Plenty of seating.
I.
Had a amazing dinner here
J. C.
As always amazing friendly service from staff our waitress was amazing!
S. F.
Really wasn't happy with the steak. It was like rubber. The reason it's a 3 star and not 1 is because when I spoke with the bar staff they was helpful and gave us dessert on the house to apologise
M. R.
Nice spot, but the bar is under-staffed. Poor barman needed some assistance as the wait for service was quite poor. Pleasant chap though!
M. F.
Meal of surprising good quality. Lovely friendly service.
A. A.
It's a nice Beefeater restaurant big inside would have given it 5 stars what lacked was no offering of drinks after the first drink, otherwise good restaurant staff were friendly
E. J.
Good food friendly staff and quick service very pleasant overall
M. H.
Lovely food. The breakfast is a really good deal and kids eat for free. Nice friendly staff.
S. B.
Family think this is a great place to eat, I feel it is a bit hit and miss on last visit everything was fine but on other visits we have had problems with cold food, wrong order, long wait etc
S. D.
Great place to go as a family or with friends. Food menu is tip notch at reasonable prices. Number choice for big group events within my group of friends.
m. w.
Excellent service good food friendly staff
L. H.
Enjoy my treats out and ideal for party's,catching up with friends or a quite meal with a loved one!
Great prices and great food!!

Good food and good service 👌
B. P.
Surprisingly good. Nice food, Punk IPA. Job done.
H. D.
Amazing food. Didnt have to wait long for food. Friendly staff.
S.
Consistently good. What we all want from a local restaurant. It keeps us coming back. The pre 6pm menu is really good value for money.
E. V.
Great food, nice atmosphere, super kind staff and overall a really good evening :) price a little bit above the average but totally worth it.
S. H.
Staff very friendly. Food is pub food but good.
t. “. P.
Really nice food, lovely staff and nice bar to eat and bargain day menu, thoroughly recommended A+
C. B.
Nice venue, good service, good choice of food and drinks... they especially have good deals with their card... had my birthday main course as complimentary meal!
G. L.
The staff were very helpful considering that they were run off their feet.
H. S.
Very well cooked and presented food, very helpful staff and lovelly atmosphere. Not much else needs to be said!
P. G.
Very friendly staff. Good grub. Seven in my party. The meals arrived in good time. Going again next moth.
E. D. V.

A very busy popular beefeater on the edge of ferry meadows with a premier Inn next door golf course and bike hire shop we called in on friday for a drink and decided to go for a meal on satturday as it looked quite nice however you need to book for a meal on sat nights in the Granary resturant as when we went they weren't doing bar food service as the restaurant was fully booked the bar staff did enquire if space was available but we couldn't eat till 21.00 (a little tip beefeater if your not doing food remove your menu's) there was a A4 note on the bar but due to customers waiting it couldn't be seen until we went to order food and we noticed several other customers being refused food service.it would have been better if a notice board was in the entrance informing customers of the situation . The internal area was pleasant with different seating area's and a restaurant area upstairs, also available was a pleasant outdoor seating which during the summer and warm nights would be nice, my partners Stella was flat but as we were not able to eat we just left would I go back yes as the menu looked quite good we'd just book this time
