Great experience at the Côte. We were a group of 22 and everything went well. The food was delicious, great quality, good portions and delicious taste. Everything was lovely and the service was 5* too. Friendly staff and very attentive. There was just a bit of a wait between starters and the main and specially for dessert but we were entertained networking, so it was fine, no big deal. Certainly a place to visit again. Thank you guys!

Absolutely amazing food and service. The staff are so friendly and even recommended dishes and certain wines too. We didn't have to wait too long between courses, although it was such a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant that we wouldn't have minded either way. We always wanted to try Côte so thought we'd do just that. Sadly the food and presentation were average and nothing to be wowed over. The sea bass came over loaded with so many peas it was rediculous. (Prezzo seabass was sooo much tastier). The 'fresh' juices also tasted like they were concentrated. Starters: Crispy Whitebait, Mains: Pan fried Seabass, Dessert: Tarte Au Citron. All in all the dessert was the best and was very tasty and we'd go there just to try the variety of desserts. The Customer service was good, but we were served by 3 different people. It's nice when it's just one person serving you.

I really enjoyed my dinner here. We were able to be seated straight way even though we didn't have a booking. The food was excellent with a French theme and the waiter was attentive and prompt when required. I would recommend this to couples and older family gatherings as it is a little upscale however I'm sure children would be welcomed.

Superb. From the moment we walked in and the staff confirmed it was my wife's birthday we were treated to a specially decorated table, they had written a b'day card and made her the star. The food was so well prepared, tasteful and extras gave us plenty of choices. Wine list is good especially the champagnes. We broke a glass and they cleared the table to prevent injury and then reset it for us. We were the last to leave and they were so kind, arranging a taxi and wishing us well. I have recommended this restaurant to so many of my friends and colleagues already. It really is a must do restaurant. Highly recommended.

WOW! I cannot recommend this fantastic little restaurant enough. I first dined here roughly 2 years ago with my parents and it quickly became my favourite restaurant in Peterborough. The service and food have been sublime every single time, including brunch and dinner. The quality of food is fantastic and it has a lovely atmosphere. Our regular table is by the window so we have a nice view of Cathedral Square. I've dined here at least 8 times by now, and cannot fault the place. Quality of food, service and price A+++. On Sunday I got married, and we chose to have the wedding meal here. We chatted up the manager in to opening the upstairs section for us (usually they don't do that on a Sunday) to allow us to have a private section and play our own music. Dominika was assigned as our waitress and I can hands down say I have never received such attentive and excellent service in my life. Nothing was too much for them, the food was amazing and they even surprised us with a couple of kir royale's on the house for the newlyweds and lovely designed desserts especially for us. Dominika made the evening for us, sweetest person ever. Thank you so much Cote, we couldn't have asked for a more magical wedding meal. We'll be back soon!

Went here for breakfast with 3 friends had the full English but with French styled black pudding, didn't know what French styled black pudding was but boy was it good, as part of the meal we also had Mimosa's which really cleaned the palate, this was so good that we had another. Had brunch here today. Lovely staff attentive and efficient. Food was excellent. The little extras go a.long way like real napkins free cold water and butter in a dish delivered to the table once Yr order is taken. Perfectly cooked poached eggs and fab fresh ripe fanned avocado.. None of this smashed avocado nonsense which is often bitter. Toilets r fab clean and also lovely paper towels for drying hands and also hand sanitizer all important in these times. Will definitely visit again next time we are in peterborough.

An excellent evening out with fine French cuisine. We were brought water as soon as we arrived, and even without a booking we were found a table quickly. There was a good range of French dishes on the menu and staff were friendly and welcoming. We were never pressured, but we were asked several times if we had everything we needed, and were given suggestions for something we might like to order. We liked the ambience in the restaurant, especially the unobtrusive music. I ordered mussels, which came thoughtfully with a finger bowl. There was a good range of wines by the bottle and the glass, and a couple of nice choices for dessert wine and cognacs. Price was reasonable. Including drinks (2 large glasses of wine and 2 glasses dessert wine) our bill for two came to £90 for aperitifs and 3 courses.

Flowers, a card, chocolate and champagne were waiting for us as I have specified on the online reservation that this would be an anniversary meal. I was so impressed with the service. I have dined at this restaurant on several occasions and it is without doubt my favourite place to eat in Peterborough. The standard of the food is consistently high and their service is excellent; attentive but not intrusive. I recently ate there with a friend who has swallowing difficulties and the manager went out of his way to ensure that her requirements were met and was prepared to serve her whatever food she would like, whether it was on the menu or not and we had a very pleasant lunch indeed. All the staff are welcoming and cheerful and work very hard to ensure that you have the best dining experience possible. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just ate here with my wife. Attentive and impecable service coupled with beautifully cooked food made for a wonderful evening. I believe this restaurant to now be the City's premier eatery. I have already booked my return visit. The set menu makes any visit easy on the wallet too. It looks like the kitchen is upstairs so there have a dedicated member of staff who carries the food to the dining room, waits near the table and the waiter comes over and serves it. Why don't more restaurants do this? Instead of the food getting cold in the kitchen or spoiling under a heater until the waiter gets around to checking the kitchen. Excellent

This is an excellent place to eat! It's so very clean, staff are very welcoming & helpful, without being in your face the whole time. The food is delicious & their Creme Caramel is to die for! I would book a table though, especially at the weekend, because they get very busy.

I visit fairly frequently and the food is consistently good, as is the service. It's a chain so don't expect too much, but the food is a cut above most other places locally, and the wine list is reasonably priced. Staff are good and service normally swift. Sometimes there's a feeling a being a little rushed, and they do the increasingly common (and highly irritating) trick of adding an 'optional' 12% gratuity to the bill. I think this is very poor and feels like it's designed to illicit double tipping (which I've done before) because it's presented as a line item on the bill rather than being well highlighted. It's sad, because cote are consistently good when I've been, in Peterborough or elsewhere, but this 'forced tipping' leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

Ate here last night with a friend and her 4 month old baby. We had pre-booked, forewarning them that we had a small baby and a pram. They were attentive from the moment we walked in and asked if we would be willing to wait a few extra minutes for a booth. Once seated, they were chatty and took our order. They were happy to warm a bottle through for the baby and even offered to hold our main course back a little, so that my friend could change him and get him settled. Excellent service from start to finish. We ate from the evening set menu, full of choice and wonderful flavours. So glad I squeezed in the dark chocolate mousse to finish 😉

Had a fantastic night again. When we arrived they were rammed and our table was not ready so they asked if we minded going to one of the nearby pubs for a drink and they would pay for them. On return they immediately paid our £28 bar bill, kept apologising then a complimentary glass of fizz! The food was described by a French friend of ours as "authentically French". The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. It's simply decorated and stylish in a way the French do so well. They serve 3 meals a day. My husband o a big fan of the breakfast.

I got the early dining deal, a three course meal for £13.50. I started with the Jerusalem Artichokes Gratinee. They were rich in flavor; the crunch of the croutons paired well with the cheese and sauce. For my main course I had the roasted sea bass. It was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The skin was crispy and the meat was moist and flaky. I finished with the chocolate mousse, which was generously dusted with cocoa powder for a very rich chocolate flavor. There was a bit of a wait between courses, not ideal for dining alone, but it would be great for a couple or group. Total dining time was still only a little over an hour, so not bad at all. If you haven't tried this place, do yourself a favor, you won't regret it.

Food came in a good amount of time - had delicious eggs Benedict but waited for ages for someone to come & clear away. No one offered us any more drinks - would have loved another coffee! Overall we were both a bit disappointed. It's never nice to be ignored and left standing for ages when you arrive for your booked table - and no allocated area to wait. The service really wasn't great for us but was automatically added to the bill. The house red wine wasn't very pleasant. Initially we were brought the wrong sauce for the steak which they corrected when asked. On the up side the atmosphere felt good, lots of people having a nice evening with friends or partners, the rib eye steak was good quality and taste, and they had gluten free bread available. Perhaps we were unlucky with service as a late sitting. Early days, may give them a second try in a while.

I ate from the early bird menu......I am gluten intolerant , ( looked at very extensive gluten free menu. The choice was amazing! ) I looked at lunch/early evening set menu & found that some choices on there were gluten free too. So a two course meal for £10.95 was great value. All food was fresh & piping hot! Could not fault the food at all. The service was first class. The wine went down well too! 😊😊 The waitress, Kevey, was courteous, friendly & very attentive....without being ' in your face '. Cote Brasserie have a gem in her! All in all, my first experience of Cote Brasserie has been wonderful. I will recommend to my friends....& I will be paying a visit again in the very near future.

The rib-eye steak was quite good, although I would have preferred grass fed beef rather than grain fed, for ethical, environmental and health reasons - and in my own opinion, grass fed beef just tastes better. Red and yellow peppers? Since when? 3 green beans, and 3 squished out stoned olives, not one anchovy either. Very poor at £14 something. Partners pork belly was ok but just that, ok. Staff were very nice though hence the 3 stars but won't be going back, too hit and miss and needs a revamp, was like sitting in a canteen.
