I forgot how bad these were last time I tried the fish and chips ( about 2 years ago) and they haven’t got any better! Chips a bit manky, lots of eyes and black bits of potato, some undercooked, none tasty or crispy, fish ok, mushy peas rubbish. Won’t be going again ☹️

I normally order large fish and large chips which is usually pretty good. Last night the fish was smaller, the batter was burnt, and it was just about warm when delivered. Very disappointing.

Service is good but last choice for a meal as chips fine but fish always comes with that much grease you could cook another 10 pieces of fish in it. Course just my preference and foxes do like the grease poured over the bread we put out.

This is our chippy of choice in Peterborough. Cooked fresh, scraps (aka batter bits) are available too. Truly delicious, the fish has always been cooked to perfection in our experience - batter is crispy but not dry. Chips are also cooked just right - with no horrible hard bits resulting from reheating. We enjoy one of the meal deals - we get a cod & chips - which comes with a selection of sides. We recommended the curry sauce for the latter. The portion size is just right. We always look forward to fish & chips from Fishtastc. Our food never feels full of 'stodge'. In fact, the lack of grease is evidenced by the fact we can put the cardboard box it is served in, in the recycling bin. The shop also boasts friendly staff, who greet you when you enter & who say please & thank you.

Superb fish and chips. Nice and spicy curry sauce. Excellent batter on the fish and really nice chips. Homemade tartare sauce is amazing! Definitely recommended. Staff welcoming and efficient even though i came really late.

One of the most tasty fish and chips in Peterborough. It is very close to my work place so I visit at least once a week. The staff is super nice and friendly. They suggest you different types of sides and homemade cheesecakes you could try! This place deserves all the awards it has won so far. I would recommend the mini meal with haddock and curry.

Ordered 8.40pm on a Tuesday evening, food arrived 9.05pm! Hot, delicious, generous 'The Big One' sized portion of fish, chips and peas, bread roll and a can of coke for just under a tenner. Expertly presented in a rigid cardboard box, sealed with 94% fat free stickers. Delivered in a temperature controlled bag by a polite and friendly driver. Highly recommended.

Was recommended fishtastic by a colleague and i can say the fish and chips as always served fresh, very friendly guys and service is quick. Everything in internally is done to a good standard and menu is clear, with extra information such as the origin of the fish and nutritional information on the board. They also do home made fish cakes and cheese cakes which are delightfully yummy. These guys have certainly Wow'd myself and stand out from the crowd and i have recommended them to friends. Keep up the good work.

Firstly ignore the scam review clearly posted by the same person 2 years apart. Likely an owner of one of the crap chippies nearby. Undoubtedly, a top class Fish and Chip shop, they dont come better than this. Fish is ALWAYS cooked to order whch only takes a few minutes, the batter is crisp and light, and not greasy, and the fish is always fresh and "substantial". Sustainability info is always displayed about where the current catch is from. Chips are always fresh and no stale rubbish thats been sitting around. As far as the rest of the standard chip shop fare goes, its all standard pukka pies, savaloy and so on. but believe me when I say the Fish and Chips them selves are exceptional. They also started doing Pizzas as well, which Ive heard are very good, but not tried them. They are open all day (11am to 8:30pm) I belive, so you can grab some at 3pm if you want. They also deliver, which I think is a £1 more. Contrary to the info on google, they actually have a 5 star Food&Hygiene award *unless its out of 4..it was maxed out anyway. It is VERY clean. I was glad they opened, cos the chinese next door is less than perfect! Maybe they left the bad reviews! Theres also a nice park across the road to enjoy a fish n chips picnic :D BUt PLEASE use the bins for the rubbish, as its not appreciated when all that crap flies down the road and in to peoples gardens!

I waited for 3 hours whilst the manager was on the toilet, and when he came he told me to give him all my money and he held out a knife! He didn't give me anything I ordered, he gave me a bag of peas, which he covered in urine! Peas were okay though, but sory only 3 stars as I was shanked 4 times.
