Five guys is a must go to where ever I stop at and they have one. This one is located in the city center of Peterborough and easy to get to. Very clean and the customer service is speedy. Simple menu like every other location with high quality food. Of course the products are fresh and shipped in daily. I recommend it for fast food pick up

I had been cautious about going here after a friend who had been to the Reading site and had said the burgers were small and not worth the price. But I was pleasantly surprised to say the burgers weren't small and we're a good size and super tasty and the toppings were really fresh and added to the taste. I had the bacon cheeseburger and large Cajun fries and a lovely shake and everything was top notch and I will return again. Well done to the staff.

This was the first time we had tried Five Guys, having only fairly recently heard about them. Had the bacon burger with cheese and jalapeño and spicy fies. The store is very clean and tidy, the staff super friendly, although clearly working to a script, which makes it somewhat disingenuous. Service was very quick indeed and the flavours on the drinks was excellent with combinations you cannot buy in bottles, we tried the caffeine free Coke flavors and they were very good. The food itself was excellent the only problem was the fries were SUPER salty! I love salty food, but even I struggled with these. I suspect there had been an "accident" with the lid on the salt pot, my wife couldn't eat all of hers. As a couple this was a good experience, but at just over £30 for two burgers, shared fries and drinks, this would make a family visit very expensive. Probably rule it out for a lot of families these days, where household budgets are being seriously stretched.

Ok so the picture doesn't do it justice - but the food (and the peanut butter and chocolate milkshake) is amazing. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful member of the team, we found a table, and I went up to order our food, the lady at the till again was so helpful and friendly! Really really nice place serving top quality and delicious food!

Visited this Five Guys yesterday when I came to Peterborough to support my team Middlesbrough win 4-0 because I was really hungry and needed something really nice to eat. I ordered a double plain cheese burger and the lady on the till was really polite, friendly and respectful as I wasn't local to the area. I gave her 20 quid for my meal and I got change so I decided to leave the staff a 2 pound tip for their kindness towards me. I got my double plain cheese burger and took it out before getting the train back to Middlesbrough. Honestly, it was the best plain cheese burger I've ever had as it was cooked to perfection and made me feel stuffed after I ate it. I'd definitely visit this five guys again when I come back to Peterborough in the future. 5/5

Great burger joint! The ability to customise your burgers to such a degree is a marvellous idea; you can have a huge variety of different types of burger. It takes a little longer than most burger restaurants to prepare your order, but the wait is worth it as these are probably the best burgers you’ll get from a fast food chain. I can also say the same about the fries(chips), beautifully cooked with a crispy outside and fluffy inside- definitely puts other well known fast food restaurants fries to shame.

The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Staff incredibly friendly and the shop is spotless. Ordered little cheeseburger, little fries and strawberry cheesecake milkshake. Asked for relish and buscoff in the side. Staff eagerly obliged and nothing was a problem The chips were fluffy inside and crisp outside, burgers were scrumptious and very tasty. Milkshake was the perfect ending. Peterborough staff working on 14/11 you all deserve a raise!!!

The service from the staff here is very good, it takes a while to get your food but quality can't be rushed. The food is expensive in the grand scheme of burgers, but provided that you know what to expect the food isn't terrible value. Five Guys isn't full blown fast food, nor is it a proper sit down restaurant experience, it sits somewhere in between. Five guys offers a unique food experience where you can truly customise your food, this is exemplified in the fact that you can have bacon put in a milkshake!

The staff were a bit too enthusiastic but I think that's probably down to being an American company where its expected to be over the top. Cant fault the service or the food. First time I have ever been to five guys. The burger was amazing. The fries were a lot to be desired. Customer service wasn't up to scratch. Having never been, we didn't know what the portion sizes were. We asked and told not huge. I ordered a large chips, expecting McDonald's size. Oh no! These were a large drink cup full and another half at the bottom of the bag. They were very salty too. Will go back for burger, but that's it.

Hit and miss as to whether or not you get a good burger. Too often the griller has the tendancy to flip the patty for a second time and use their spatula to smash it a second time. This makes for a dry and tough burger. When it's done right it's great, but it's a gamble.

Order regular fries if you want more fries than is even slightly necessary. The amount of fries you get is easily enough for a standard size lunch and are prepped in so little time you can get to five guys on your lunch break from your office job and order regular fries and sit there eating these awesome chunks of freshly cooked potato with Cajun spice dipping them in mayonnaise or ketchup and listening to some relaxing music on Spotify while watching the world go by and thinking about all the people who walk past the window and wonder what their days are like and how you hope that person walking real fast gets to where they need to get in time but even if they don't I'm sure it's all good and you don't gotta stress really man cause little moments like this like just watching the world move around you are few and far between but they're important to contextualise your existence helping you to relieve some stress cause when you think about the fact you're a clump of lucky atoms blasting through space on a crusted cooling fireball covered in other atomic clumps like you and that these people you're watching have all the same worries and troubles as you and that no one really knows the answer to anything and everyone's got the same worries and problems sometimes life gets easier and you can focus more on how these fries are good and you've still got time to walk back to the office and stomp in a puddle on the way and smile at someone and so what if you're a little late back off lunch, it's the cosmic reality that it doesn't matter, what's a few seconds anyways. Last time someone said "ooh, long lunch?" I just thought "yeah man, cosmic reality got me stalling" but just said "bruh, five guys"

AMAZING experience to say the least!! I was greeted by a very lovely member of staff named Melissa. Melissa had great positive energy and she very kindly took the time to explain to me the portion sizes of the fries since it was my first time trying them (even though it was really busy). She then made the Spicy Cajun fries with great expertise, taking the time to fry and season them to perfection. I can say hands down these are the best fries in Peterborough!!! I will definitely be going back often. Thank you Melissa for your brilliant service and well done, Five Guys has just gained a returning customer because of you!

Was pleasantly surprised by my trip to five guys. The prices seemed steep at first however I really enjoyed the food. Gemma had excellent service and helped to explain the menu to me as a newcomer.

Great food and fantastic service. Unlike McDonald's and KFC, who seem to only care about delivery orders these days and make in person customers wait 15 minutes for a burger, it's been a nice experience going here every time. It's amazing to go to a chain burger place that doesn't just serve heated, tasteless coasters covered in sauce, but instead use what appears to be proper meat. And it has chips made with actual potatoes, what a novelty! It's expensive compared to other places, but you get a double stack as standard and you can customise your toppings, so it's worth paying extra for good service and edible food.

Really great food, my biggest problem with Five Guys is trying to figure out what toppings to go into my burger (they're all so good) and still be able to fit it inside the bun. As for the chips, I love the way they throw in a tray full of lose chips as well. The people working at Five Guys are so friendly and have great customer service skills.

I would recommend getting a small chips as there was so many of them I struggle to eat all of them even on an empty stomach. I am absolutely enamored with 5 guys burgers. The smash burgers have such a great depth of flavour, the plethora of toppings you can choose are all complimentary with the taste of the burger, the American style Kraft cheese they put on last second before wrapping up melts beautifully. The staff are friendly and you get professional service. Their Cajun fries are phenomenal, the large portion is good enough for 2 people. The bacon (is you order it) is cooked to within an inch of burning so it is so crispy and flaky, I am salivating just writing about these burgers! The hotdogs are... okay. There is lots of space to sit in and eat, if you like milkshakes, try one from here, I haven't found a better shake in Peterborough. In fact, even writing this review has got me NEEDING to go back and get another!

If you want a maccieDs then go to the yellow arches as they don't compare - not on price nor flavour. MD is cheap & so what you get is. At five guys the milkshakes are beyond amazing, burgers are great & the large fries are large enough to share with the family. Unlimited refill on soft drinks (sadly not the milkshakes - which I could have a bathful of), the wife was pleased as decaff soft drinks & bunless burgers. Quick service, great taste, worth paying for! And they do hot dogs too!!

Went to Five Guys for the first time this evening, served by Ashley very helpful guy (think he could tell I was abit lost). Food was lovely. Ashley was very helpful in recommending things to eat. It wasnt overly busy so could get a table. Only thing that put me off a little(could be because I'm getting old though) was the music was quite loud when trying to have a chat with the other people I was eating with. Would return however.

The experience was not as I remembered at their Reading branch. The Peterborough location is much smaller, loud and lacked any atmosphere. It is target towards a younger group that like loud trap music with their burgers. The fries are better than McD & BK though.

A very welcome and overdue addition to the Peterborough dining experience. The burgers are as great as you will find in all Five Guys and the chips are also up to their well known high standard. However, I have to take one star off for the lack of seating. This is easily the smallest Five Guys I have visited and it certainly wasn't the least busy. Maybe their market research will be borne out in the long run but given that the building was once a fairly large pub, it was a surprise to see they there were maybe around fifty seats. Unlike Maccy D's, nobody pelts a Five Guys down quickly so you may find yourself struggling thto ifseat a family if early popularity is maintained.
