It’s amazing local farm and farm shop!
Staff is very friendly, polite.
We had a b-day party in this place and my daughter sooo happy! Thank you so much, your place is really wonderful, I’m happy that my kid’s eyes are full of happiness so far from our lovely home… 🇺🇦❤️
t. c.
We went to a 3rd birthday party at the back!! Buffet style food was really nice, and there is a small petting park at the back, that the kids loved!!. The member of staff that was allocated to the party was really friendly, and attentive to the needs of the guests!!. Apparently the cost of the event was very reasonably!!
P. S.
It's a local petting farm with a café and a farm shop. A small children playground outside in the back. A nice family day out if you like farm animals and fresh air.
S. H.
I was here for a Jubilee afternoon tea, it was quite a good afternoon tea for £14.99. The staff were friendly, polite, welcoming & helpful. They even warmed my scone for me when I asked. They catered for my intolerance too, without question. The small farm shop they have there is fairly well stocked. I liked the fact that I could buy a few different pastries, which were frozen, individually, because I'm on my own I liked being able to buy how many I actually wanted, rather than a big pack that I might not be able to finish. Their fresh produce looked good too. They also sell several lovely gifts.
S. T.
Delightful place for children, plenty of outside space, even I had a cheeky ride on one of the big swings. Had some cake and cold drinks. It was great fun feeding the goats etc although when you put the 50p in you only seem to get half a cup of animal feed, sure we got more last time we came.
B. B.
Great coffee and food with an even better selection of local produce, bread and other grocery items well worth a visit. Oh and the canvas paintings are 5 star too!
S. R.
Unfortunately my jacket potato wasn't very warm, but the filling was lovely and all the meals coming out looked good. Staff were lovely apart from one lady who disappeared off the till - albeit to help a customer with some potatoes, but I felt she could have told me what she was doing, I would've been quite happy to wait.
S. C.
Great find, will definitely be back here, shop is also great, some unusual bits and pieces would make great place to buy gifts
W. H.
A great little farm with a nice park for the kids and the opportunity to feed the animals. The cafe is great. A nice way to spend an hour or so with a small child.
J. P.
Nice food fantastic staff, great place with small farm shop, which I quite reasonably priced, but the food was very expensive but I guess a couple of coffees extra all add up, well done
K. B.
I lovely treat. Food has ever disappointed. We had a large breakfast, eggs benedict and pancakes. Thank you for the happy service too.
L. F. (.
The restaurant and shop is great. Lots of options especially for dietary requirements. Staff are very friendly.
The animals are in little pens, you pay to see them and use 50p coins to buy little pots of animal feeds, which they are very enthusiastic to receive!
We are a little little to use the play area at the moment but it looked like fun and was being used by other children.
D. S.
Absolutely amazing example of a well ran family business, the kids loved it , friendly staff , great food and a lovely animal feeding experience. Will come back again soon. Would definitely recommend a visit here

I want to say a huge thank you to the Harvest Barn, and Ashley in particular, for ensuring my children had a brilliant birthday party this weekend. After being let down by another venue, I contacted Ashley only a few days before the party date and I was lucky enough to secure the booking. Ashley was incredibly helpful throughout and liaised with me over the phone and WhatsApp, providing buffet menus, pricing and photos of the cabin. Having never been to the Harvest Barn before I didn’t know what to expect, but the cabin was a brilliant size and comfortably seated all 36 children, with additional room for adults. Animal feed and cups were provided, and all the children loved being able to explore the play area and Muddy Boots, despite the rain, which didn’t take anything away from the fun at all. There was plenty of shelter for the adults, along with tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities, and the buffet for the children was amazing – freshly prepared sandwiches, cookies, brownies, and homemade sausage rolls, plus lots more! I can’t thank you enough for accommodating us at such short notice, and I will happily recommend the Harvest Barn to anyone looking to book a children’s party in the future. We will definitely be back.

Been here many times and always reviewed the highest quality service. Delicious vegan wraps, burgers and cakes. Lots of vegan snacks in the shop area as well.
K.
Always love the produce, and gift items here. Nice and local to me. Cafe is also great, lovely food.
C. S.
Lovely place for children. Very nice farm shop with a large variety of products. And fantastic food in the café. We loved it. Can't wait to visit again, especially in the summer.
M. L.
Always go here to buy sack of spuds, much better quality than supermarket and last for ages.
They have a cafe and dehli too and now small petting farm for children. I see they ate also starting car boot sales.
S. L.
This is right on my doorstep. I went to buy a cheese scone to takeaway as they are delicious. I also bought a pair of Foster Grant sunglasses for 38p !!!
J. R.
Fresh fruit and veg, at least 6 types of flour, gifts, preserves, frozen ready meals, cakes, bread, drinks and more. Really top class produce displayed beautifully.
The cafe has an awesome menu including gluten free, sandwiches using tasty bread, jacket potatoes, and a tempting array of cakes. There's lots more, just can't remember so I will have to go back.
They are taking veg and meat orders for Christmas too.
This is a top-notch place to visit and stay a while.
D. H.
Nice to see the day old goat's being fed with our granddaughter. Lovely staff and good food.
J. S.
Lovely food in the cafe with good vegetarian options. Bit of a farm out back with ducks, chickens, sheep, goats and pigs. Decent farm shop too. Well worth a visit.
L. P.
Great choices on the menu and cakes, and of course a great breakfast in 2 size portions. Staff always friendly and very efficient.
B. E.
We visited the MuddyBoots farm, and it was great. 2 small play areas - 1 for younger and 1 for slightly older. Feeding animals was good. Easy to use animal food dispensers (take 50p coins!) and wash and sanitise stations available.
R. M.
Lovely friendly staff. Still very new, and good variety of vegetables and food. Excellent café, with a decent menu. Now a regular 'go to' place for us.
J. P.
Nice, friendly place. Tasty fayre - No decent local beer though.
J. R.
Lovely visit today kids loved seeing the animals and playing at park. Had very nice lunch, prices are very reasonable too.
D. L.
Great breakfast and friendly staff, well worth a vist
P. R.
Very nice little farm shop and coffee shop. Good food and drink fairly priced
L. H.
Amazing full English, and then off to feed the goats.
Nice bike ride there from Peterborough.
S. B.
Quite nice seemed ok we'll go back soon and have a proper look have a meal
S. B.
Very nice but not dog friendly as the most garden centres.
D. M.
Got a nice pumpkin and had a tasty sausage n bacon bap and a sausage bap. Typically tasty farm shop quality meats used . Washed down with a decent latte all reasonably priced. No waste on daughter's plate lol !!
b. R.
Lovely staff, really nice atmosphere, the shop is amazing and so is the playpark/farmyard
S. L.
First visit, took my granddaughter, she had a great time feeding the animals and enjoying the play equipment. The shop was well stocked and good quality, staff were most helpful and polite. We didn't try the cafe at this time
M. R.
What a wonderful proper farm shop.
Called in on a whim and so pleased we did.
A lot of local produce. There are even labels showing how many miles to where things are grown. That's what I call low climate impact food.
Really impressed by how well everything set out and the huge range of high quality local produce from veg and dairy to meat, honey, cakes, beer, gin.... . Great value for money too. What's not to like?
Didn't eat there today but it smells very nice indeed. Next time we will.
All distancing and precautions well done too.
A friendly people too.
Enjoy
P. R.
Lacking in toilets for a such a large event such as the jubilee weekend but generally very good.
L. S.
had a lovley day today at harvest barn. i had lemon lime and passion fruit cake and a hot chocolate with cream and marshmellows. it was great. my friend rachel had a chocolate jaffa cake and hot chocolate. really good. i phoned my friend when i got back and told him how nice it was and we are going next week for lunch.
D. P.
Local farm shop , fresh produce , large range of food and non food items , lovely cafe .
M. F.
Great place to take the kids. It has a small animal farm with goats hens Alpacas and sheep. You can buy food to feed them via a tube so no actual contact is required. There is a small but nice swing and climbing frame area as well as a farm shop. Meals snacks and drinks are available but I thought the meals were a little expensive for what you got.
V. M.
Very expensive and overpriced, guy on the till tried to overcharge me for reduced item, lucky I noticed, individual items not priced, no receipt given so couldn't check out prices of my other items. Would go back again to try out cafe possibly as that did look nice from what I could see. Wouldn't buy products from there again though
M. M.
Great choice of good food at reasonable prices 😋 also lovely shop full of delicious goodies
T. H.
Lots of options for coffee & sweet treats in the cafe restaurant. Plus also (as it was a Sunday!), good choices of roast dinners available to be served between 12-2pm, but sadly I was unable to take advantage on the day I called in.
On a different day, I browsed the shop area. There was a good range of different foods, including vegan & gluten-free options, along with nice little gift options, and a small range of fresh & frozen items, many that were locally sourced or supplied by small companies.
All in all, a great little place to visit & worth the trip there.
G. M.
We always get a warm welcome here. That's why we keep coming back! Follow the rules and you will enjoy everything about this place. The food, and their apple juice is so refreshing. They sell fruit and veg, mostly locally grown, and a nice assortment of gifts too.
B. E.
Very pleasant place for coffee and cakes with a good farm shop there as well
P. D.
Excellent afternoon tea, best ever and playground plus animal feeding too
G. I.
We had some lovely home made like vegetable broth soup today which were very nice. They do take away so we collected them while doing our food shop in there. Will definitely go back again. The only inconvenience was that we had to wait like 15 minutes to be ready, so I will call before going to place the order.
K. O.
Lovely shop. Great range of specialist food and fresh foods. Lots of outside (and plenty of inside) seating for café. Gorgeous selection of gifts. Very friendly staff.
S. C.
Enjoyed our coffee and cakes today. Very friendly staff and great cakes and coffee x
c. h.
Staff were very friendly and food was delicious
C.
i love this little shop so much very clean and fresh and country vibe about it with great choice its worth popping in to check it out if you have never been
W. H.
As a returning customer, we were very reassured by the new precautions of screens between tables. The lovely staff are efficient and very helpful and it's lovely to see their smiles ( wearing the facial visors so I could lip read!) Made our meal feel safe and secure time.
Once again, beautiful fresh food from the large menu of drinks, savouries, and then a huge cabinet of cakes, traybakes and puddings (not forgetting the ice creams)
Sadly the rain stopped us visiting the animals , but we used the time to look round the farm shop.
Again, a one way system has been implemented for safety and distancing.
Loads of different ideas for meals available as fresh, frozen or dried options. Luscious meringues, really light cakes, fab selection of flavoured find, beers and non alcoholic beverages too. Fresh bread and fresh local vegetables for sale too
Well worth a visit for all age groups. Baby change, disabled loo, and all on ground floor level.
Go today, return frequently!
C. H.
We ate out at the Harvest barn on their first evening. The staff were very polite and the table well spaced. Their screens were discreet and fitted in well with their surroundings. Food and drinks were quickly served and all were very good portion sizes, including the child's meal (photo is the bon bon starter). We did have a small hiccup but it was quickly resolved. The only shame was, on opening night the child's desert we had ordered, they didn't have any.
We were allowed to enter the muddyboots area whilst visiting for free which was great. A great selection of children's play area and then farm animals were great to see with 50p dispenser of food if you wanted to feed them. We can't wait to go back again when it isn't blowing a gail and raining! Highly recommended.
A. N.
An unexpected delight, I'm glad we stopped. Finding somewhere that does breakfast after 11am was even more unexpected 🤭
T. H.
What a fantastic place! Lovely friendly staff and a great place for the children to interact with the animals, enjoy farm life and play whilst the grown ups enjoy a coffee and some yummy fresh food from the barn cafe! Nice to find a friendly place that’s caters for all, especially the activities and shows that are put on every now and then to entertain the children! The produce on sale in the barn shop is fab. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
C. P.
Nice food, good location, well priced & very clean. Staff are lovely. Will return again soon.
V. M.
I visited Harvest Barn Farmshop because they were hosting a LEAF Open Farm Sunday event and I'm glad I did. It is a lovely set up run by very friendly people. They have a lovely farm shop which hosts a range of fresh, chilled and frozen goods including fruit, veg, dairy, meat, herbs, spices, baking goods and much more. They are very keen on sourcing local products where possible and display where there products have come from. This is great for people trying to reduce their carbon footprint.
They also have a cafe which, although I didn't try it, looked very clean, professional, well stocked and tasty.
Outside they have a small range of animals and fowl that children will love to visit. Also there is a play area for children including a newly installed play frame for older children which shows the owners ongoing commitment to making visitors' experiences the best possible.
The main role of the farm is to grow specialised organic crops that are gluten free. This is reflected in the foods and ingredients found in the shop.
All in all this is a wonderful set up and well worth a visit and support. I will be back!
J. A.
Great place for a fun time with children. Is nice to stay and have lunch......food is very good and reasonably priced.
s. r.
Nice food shop with quality veg and fruit us the more artisan relishes cheeses dressing gs and sauces plus frozen croissants and pan aux raisan to bake at home.
Z. M.
Always a great atmosphere. Not just a farm shop... Its a day out! Fab food, awesome play areas for the kids and the cutest animals which you are able to feed. You can easily spend a few hours here watching the working farm and listening to the goats.
L. A.
Not overly impressed at the moment but maybe I was expecting something different and to be fair it is still quite new. Lots of higher end food in which reminded me of places like Van Hage. Great to see local veg though which all have the distance they have travelled from on the price display.
Would like to have seen more meat for sale and other local things.
Looking forward to visiting the cafe sometime. Great for cyclists who use this road as they can sit outside with their bike and have some tea and cake.
l.
I love the shop for its wonderful things. The cafe is great too, with good coffee and great cake. Always have a good experience!
c. t.
Great tea and coffee ..good breakfast
L. B.
Small place with a few animals, but great to keep an 18 month old happy! The little park was also a hit! Food can be purchased to feed the animals which was lovely. Cafe food also very nice.
K. B.

Had a mixed bag here. My first visit left me very impressed, both with the cafe service and the range in the farm shop... however, my next visit was awful. They'd allowed a WI group to totally dominate the cafe (note: it's a cafe, not a restaurant) which meant both the cafe and shop were under staffed. Our cafe order was mixed up, we got our drinks 15 minutes after our food, after the horde of WI had been served (despite the fact we ordered before them!) and that was even after my mother started choking on a very dry toasted tea cake (one small portion of butter between two halves... and no drinks) She had to run to the counter and interrupt someone to get her water, asked for more butter but never got it. Awful service. They should have remembered they're a cafe and treated everyone on a first come, first served basis and not let one group dominate the entire place. I was extremely angry. I went back again, the cafe was alright this time, but supplies in the farm shop were lacking somewhat, so we didn't get what we'd gone for (having seen it previous times)
I'd recommend it if it's on your route (it is for me) but not convinced it's worth a special visit.
d. r.
Lovely local produce. Love the lables telling you how far it has travelled. Good touch. Bread looks and tastes delicious. Love the purple carrots. Cafe clean and service with a smile. Food good too.
S. G.
Just had a lovely lunch at this great new farm shop and coffee shop. Did some shopping too! Very good quality produce. And it’s accessible for disabled people including toilet. Great to see this opening in our area. I’ll certainly be back.
K. M.
Great family atmosphere without loosing professionalism
C. N.
Had lunch there very nice
A. P.
The meal was very tasty in the coffee shop
P. W.
We had a lovely light lunch at the cafe and were served by friendly helpful staff. The farm shop is stocked with lovely locally sourced produce. They have plans to expand the services offered so it is worth keeping an eye on them to see whats new
L. R.
First visit, very good food and helpful staff. Lovely shop too and all very clean. Will visit again.
B. F.
1st visit here today on a rainy morning. Good range of produce at the farm shop, we walked out with 2 full bags of veg, fruit, meats and assorted dry goods. It was a rainy and drizzly morning so we decided not to take our 3 year old round the farm and instead got lunch in the coffee shop. The coffee shop has a good range of Coffee and Tea options with free changes to Almond/Soy based milks and a good selection of different cakes on offer as you are queuing for the tills. The food is reasonable priced and appears to be all sourced locally. Our 3yo had Sausage, Chips & Beans and was so enthused by the sausages that we had to buy a pack from the shop to take home. I had the burger in a soft pretzel bun as pictured which was fantasticlly flavoured despite forgetting to ask for it to be prepared at med-rare, the well done burgers were still very juicy and flavourful, my only complaint there would be that the salad was a little brown but didn't tast bad for it. It was good to see that the menu tells you where a number of the main products is sourced from and allow you to buy the same products in the shop which is a good try before you buy tactic for the shop. Also good to see that they were thinking about sustainability and locality, with the origin and in some cases distance that the fresh veg had travelled being clearly labled. We will be back here often.
J. B.
Great breakfast, and the staff are really helpful.
Good quality products in the shop.
S. F.
Excellent restaurant. Good food at sensible prices. First class service.
T. P.
Very nice place, friendly staff and goats! Lots of local goods at very decent prices. The cafe is a hit. Overall I think I'll be taking my family there again many times.
A. P.
Very pleasant visit enjoying our first coffee out since lockdown started. Excellent service following all current restrictions. Will be visiting again soon. Many thanks.
N. M.
Such a lovely hidden gem and lots of farm shop goodies to buy. Would have been 5 stars however I got home to discover the fudge I bought is out of date!
N. F.
A good selection of fresh produce and meats, although they are VERY expensive. A whole chicken is £11 for example and it's no better than you can buy at your local supermarket for over half of that price. I'm all for supporting local shops, especially those that are garm shops, but unfortunately the prices are absolutely ridiculous.
L. C.
Very friendly place, lovely produce, lovely meals served in the restaurant and lots of things to do with your little ones.
J. O.
Really nice find after being at Gildenburgh Diving. Lots of choice for meats, fruit veg. And dairy produce. Loads of different drinks and chocs plus goid selection of edible gifts. The tea shop cafe served good choice of drinks and cakes plus snacks. We were to late to eat dinner which was very good value. We bought a local leg of lamb which I van tell you was heaven on a plate.
M. W.
Wow amazing place very friendly fantastic food very good service bacon brie cranberry panini was amazing chips where very moreish a must go try great choice of cakes
E. B.
A friend and myself had lunch there today and it was excellent. The food was fresh and tasty. It is situated in an ideal spot on the main road from Peterborough as there is nowhere to stop for a coffee around this way. The staff are very attentive and helpful.
👍

We are weekly visitors, are always treated with courtesy and respect, and to top all that the food and the tea are a bit ace.
J. v. d. W.
Shop excellent with fresh produce happy to pay a little extra. Also stopped for coffee and cake. And do order the harvest barn hot chocolate. Fantastic value for £2.95

A lovely place to have coffee and relax in a pitoresque, rural location.

L. C.
Great food excellent value
E. P.
Nice little shop and cafe. An area of farm animals including alpaca, chickens, ducks (mostly goats) that can be fed for 50p per pot.
T. T.
Love this place, lovely fresh food, lots of choice and of sundries too. The staff are excellent and can't do enough to help, support local where you can!
D. E. M.
An absolute gem of well sourced. Food. They need to be much clearer TN their sign posing outside and plant out the weed full troughs. Maybe get a nursery to take them over in return for plant sales. The outside foes not show how amazing it is inside. There is space out the back too but you would not know it. Great cafe too. Do some publicity.
N. J.
This is a great place in the making and what this area has been crying out for. Lots of artisan produce, a lot of it local, at decent prices. Meat is expensive but is from high class local suppliers and includes game, unobtainable in these parts recently.
Looking forward to the warmer seasons when the farm's produce becomes available.
W. B. B.
Amazing breakfast with lovely coffee. Farm shop fab too - got some lovely treats in there 🙂
J. A.
Food at the cafe very nice, service a bit slow, but very pleasant staff
W. D.
Quite a good find, lovely clean cafe and farm shop. Had a nice coffee and a very large veggie breakfast with real mushrooms. Very nice. Lovely wander around the farm shop.
C. Y.
Great farm shop. Lots of different items.from meat to bakery goods. Like that on the local veg items they put how far from the shop they are grown. You the know they are locally produced
K. N.
Small, local farm shop with a fantastic range of products for the size. They serve the usual range of hot and cold drinks. I enjoyed a delicious cake and hot chocolate.
L. E.
Hidden gem in the Fens. Lovely for good produce and other lovely things, also had a nice lunch in the coffee shop, delicious bacon, brie and cranberry pannini served with salad, coleslaw and crisps. Go look for yourselves.

Good food.. reasonably priced...farm shop is on the pricey side.. but typical prices for farm shops... I couldn't get the bacon chilli jam I always buy there.. but suspect thats due to Covid!
