Incredible service! Honestly the wait staff at this restaurant were spectacular, best I’ve ever seen in my life. Especially Daisy! The UK are pretty famous for having poor customer service but it was just the right mix of friendly but not over the top like in the US. The food was amazing as well, great value for money. Was expecting it to be way more expensive! And they have unlimited drinks refills with the different flavour syrups. 10/10, 5 stars, we visited on Monday and we’re coming back on Saturday!

Very friendly staff. Food was very good and came out in very quickly. Very clean and good atmosphere. Good layout of the restaurant. Lovely outdoor space which was dog friendly. Only gave a four star as the salad bar was not as good as other harvester restaurants I have been too. Such as potato salad and better selection of pasta. Not many selections of bread rolls. One other thing my daughter raised to the branch was that other harvesters we have been too have had salad forks on the table which is a nice touch. My daughter told our waitress and she said she will inform the manager to see if it could be added as made eating the salad easier. Overall a great place to go for food. Plates where very nice compared to plain white plates. I would recommend to experience.

Dropped in for a late breakfast and it was really good value with a friendly welcome. The unlimited drinks a great option too, allowing you to have tea, coffee, and juice. The eggs benedict and full breakfast were both top notch and nicely presented.

Made a last minute booking on a Sunday afternoon. My expectations were not particularly high as I had heard some bad stories from a few years ago when it first opened. Well things must have changed!! My experience was fantastic. Starting with the staff who were all really friendly. Our waitress was Daisy who was lovely and the service and friendliness were top notch. Then the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The toilets were the cleanest I think I have ever experienced in a restaurant or pub. I am struggling to think of anything that could have enhanced my enjoyment of my family meal. I wouldn’t hesitate to dine here again.

We were shown to our table by a very enthusiastic server. As I pulled back a chair to sit down, I noted the carpet and foot of the table were dirty with food debris. Our server was attentive and soon took our drink orders, the restaurant was quite busy so it was a little longer than expected for the refillable glasses to be brought to the table and our food orders taken. The food we ordered was satisfactory to good but I found the soft drink refill area to be wet and in need of a clean-up. Desserts were satisfactory to good. Our bill was brought to the table and payment taken without fuss.

Thought we'd give this a go as we were close to the area but was greeted by a woman who literally didn't crack a smile the whole time we was there, in fact she couldn't of looked less interested in seating us if she tried...short blonde haired woman... needs some training on customer service 😁 Anyway we were served by Reo who was the complete opposite and was lovely and very welcoming. Apart from the macoroni cheese being zapped in the microwave to within an inch of its life.... So hard I literally felt I could of frisbeed it into the table seated near us with phones at highest volume settings to entertain their kids and husband watching football grrrr apart from that it was OK...... Puddings saved the day 😁

Came recently for my wife's birthday. Have come many times before this for family occasions and we're always very pleased with the welcome we receive. Gigi today however was a cut above - engaging sincerely with our 2 year old daughter, taking personal interest when we chatted with her and just generally giving us a wonderful, positive, and friendly welcome. She made us feel very well looked after, recommended certain new things to try on the menu and especially went out of her way to make sure everything was to our liking. We had originally intended to reserve another restaurant, but what a mistake it was to accidentally call this one. Our breakfast, however, was a major let down despite everything else being good. Given the number of restaurants in the region and how competitive the catering industry must be, it was quite unfortunate. We won't be going back there again after our first visit.

Unfortunately on this occasion my visit was unsatisfactory, although it started of good, seated quickly, drinks order received quickly, from then on not so good, took a while to come back for food order, ordered food, waitress then came back to tell us no spit chicken harvesters signature dishes and it would be at least 1/2hrs wait for cooking in the oven, so we changes are dishes, again another very long wait for food over 1/2hr with no explanation, once our meals arrived I had salmon salad, salmon was very dry/over cooked and a bowl full of lettuce with a couple of bits of cucumber and yellow pepper, thank goodness for salad bar I though, but unfortunately that wasn't stocked either with most of the compartments empty. Would I recommend this Harvesters, Humm not sure, No apology for delay or explanation, seem like either short staffed or inexperienced No one was at front of house while I was there and at least 3 lots of potential customers walked away. For mid week and early evening not great.

Was sent a promo voucher £10 off £20 spend. Ordered 2 course set lunch (x2) but was told we were not allowed to use the voucher on that. . Ended up paying about £25 for lunch for 2 with 2 fruit tea. Probably won't go back for a while. I am a regular customer, most of the time their vouchers have many restriction. Few weeks ago I went with family (5 adults, 3 kids) with 33% main (2-5pm) but ended up didn't save much as some ordered set lunch and kids menu were excluded (and they have to do it as 2 separate bills) Also their loyalty stamp (free meal when u visit 4 times /4 stamps) disappears after 28 days. Was not aware and it disappeared from my wallet on the app - my free meal was wasted.. I would advise to read their small prints and terms and condition properly on each voucher/promotion. Lately their salads bar quality has not been great. The salads (a few times that I visited) were not as fresh as it should be (eg cucumber turns watery) and pots ran empty without being renewed. They seem short on staff most of the time too. When it gets packed you will need to wait a while to be noticed, to place your order or get your bills. Would appreciate if management can look at the staff arrangement and add extra help at busy times/provide training how to be more efficient at busy times.

Came here during lunch and left very full. I had the waffle, bacon and chicken. Inside its very modern and spacious. The staff were very attentive which i liked. We were in a hurry, however with 3 of us we managed to order a starter, mains and salad within an hour.

A great place to eat with friends and family! The waitress who was serving us (I didn't catch her name unfortunately) was lovely. Very friendly, polite and accomodating with a big smile. The menu has a lot to offer with sizable portions, they also have a very good vegan menu which was unexpected, much to the excitement of my partner. We ordered the sharing platter (the squid and chicken wings were amazing), the cowboy burger (which is a challenge to ear, unless you can unhinge your jaw!), the purist burger (a good vegan alternative), the chocolate orange slice (another vegan option) and the chocolate fudge cake (which was huge and diabetes inducing but worth every bite!). Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. What more could you want?

I have to say as a customer who often dines out the The Harvester is a regular go too place. Reason being it's local (always support your locals) it's got a decent variety and sizable menu as well being affordable. The service is always of the highest standard with big smiles and friendless throughout your stay which adds to the atmosphere. This is however, hit and miss, dependingonday and time. Today in particular I wanted to share my view. I had the "Bird, Surf & Turf" and let me tell you this, stunning is not a word that delivers enough of a praise and feedback I could offer. It quite simply was the best all round meal I've had in a restaurant. It delivered on all the highest levels from taste, texture & how it was cooked, the list goes on. Compliments to the chefs who no doubt don't get enough praise but they have not only filled my belly and allowed me to leave with a cheeky grin of satisfaction. I had to tip , the reason, the chefs out did my expectations and fully deserved my feedback. Well done guys, keep up the good work and service.

Another great meal at Harvester, fair play to the team coping in this Covid 19 world. They've made a difficult situation easy with the salad bar and the food is of the usual high standard. Then at the end Mark and Vicky made our son feel special on his birthday. There's a reason we keep coming back here, it's because they give the best customer service in Peterborough.

Had our first Christmas dinner in a pub and was frankly blown away. The three courses were soup and three piece seafood, our mains were turkey and the steak and rib combo and christmas pud and ice cream and millionaire tart. The food was incredible, literally the best meal out I have had in a long time. We have already said we will return there for a meal on a non Christmas day. Add into that superb service, our waitress Charlotte was lovely, very attentive and pleasant. As I had no cash on me I drove to a cash machine and returned to give her a personal tip as she was so good. All in all I would honestly give 10 stars for the day, the food superb, the service excellent and the experience of christmas day dining? Fabulous memories made. Well done harvester and the team!

Popped in after work with my family. Food was lovely and presented beautifully. We was served by a lovely young girl called Daisy I think her name was. She was polite confident and great customer service skills. During our meal we decided to play a quiz with the kids. Another member of staff a man called ‘Sam’ came over to check on us and assure we had everything we needed. He spent alot of time joining us with answers on our quiz interacting with the children and overall making the meal an experience. It was so refreshing meeting him and his enthusiasm to his job and deliverance of 5* customer service and satisfaction. I have to say he is a real credit to the company and definitely makes us as a family want to visit more regularly. So a big thank you to daisy and Sam 👏🏻💞 keep up the good work guys. Great selection of food and a reasonable range of drinks. Very helpful and attentive staff but our waiter asked us if we would like large fries or potatoes. This made it unclear that he was offering the "double" portion offered on the menu. We therefore ended up with too much food. The steak was not cooked medium rate as requested, it was overcooked. We would also prefer to serve our own salad and drinks now that COVID restrictions are lifted.

From the young man who greeted us and showed us to our to our table to our waitress Geraldine who served us everything was done in a friendly and efficient way. Afterwards we were not hurried away from the table and when we did leave the waitress was there to thank us and say goodbye. The whole experience was most enjoyable and we will certainly return soon. Was my first trip to Harvester in donkeys years but I must say the service was absolutely fantastic. We were lucky enough to be served by the wonderful young Hannah who was extremely polite, super attentive (even before we had stepped through the second door, she with full tray in hand made sure we were reassured we would be seen to shortly), very pleasant to coverse shortly with, a great listener and recommendations, her attire was very professional and seemed to be working extremely hard tending to her tables and checking in with everyone. She was always happy to alocate her time to breaking things down and explaining things clearly step by step so naturally which was a fantastic thing for me as I am autistic, she totally spoke my language which is extremely rare. Very sweet and had uplifting banter with other tables children even when one spilt his drink all over the table and was so quick to remind people of safety (hot plates) in such a cheery positive manner. She's consistently engaged, very quick with any requests from all tables, always happy and had great eye contact. The salad bar and the meal were lovely but the service just blew it out the water for us.

We had an amazing waiter, Seb. Nothing was too much trouble. I ordered the mini dessert with a liqueur latte and wanted plant based milk. The machine that makes the coffee only uses normal milk so he came back and offered to make an americano, warm up some soya milk to then make a latte. As I normally drink americano coffee I opted for that with ameretto in. He was friendly, attentive and had a great sense of humour.

Went for lunch after a shopping trip. The manager was very friendly and charming and explained where the salad bar was and the current procedure for using it. Visited this restaurant for the first time today. Had booked a table through their app, and reviewed a very warm welcome on entry. The member of staff had a great personality and interacted well with my children. The table was ready and clean, as was the rest of the restaurant. We were served in a timely manner, in regards to the order being taken, being guided through the salad bar, and for the food being brought to the table. The food was served at a good temperature, and had been cooked to a very good standard. I'm afraid it's become too expensive now. £16 for a mixed grill (without drink) compares poorly against prices in the Wetherspoons chain. In addition, on this occasion, my wife's meal was served cold (though the mixed grill I ordered was perfect). Her meal was quickly changed for a fresh hot meal and the staff were unfailingly helpful. The Harvester restaurants I've visited have all been very clean and pleasant places for a meal. I just feel that the menus prices are just a little too high

And they have really thought about being covid safe while also having a decent evening. And you can still have something from the salad bar. This place was a new find for me and now it's a regular place to go . They have an Awesome range of food including vegan and vegetarian which is great. It's a relaxing atmosphere and no limit on how long you can have a table for. Tables are well distanced so it feels comfy. The service is reliable and very efficient. They have all of the covid guidelines in place and the restaurant is very clean. I highly recommend going. Enjoy 😄👍

Food was nice but we were sat near an air con unit and it was on and was blowing cold, but it was cold outside so not sure why the air con was on and so that made our meals go cold quicker. I'm not one to complain and I'm not complaining now just wanting to make you aware in case other people have medical issues or just don't like certain things on the salad bar then not to mix two different things in the same tub, they had the mixed peppers in the same tub as the onions, have never seen that before when been to a Harvester. I am not allowed many foods, medical reasons, and onions being one of them. The member of staff did go into the kitchen to see if she could get some that hadn't been in with the onions but they had ran out of peppers which is fine and I just had the other few things that I could have off the salad bar.

Visited on an early Saturday evening with my nieces and nephews in tow so family friendly was definitely required. The welcome was very friendly and we were quickly seated with menus. The service was great throughout the evening - our waitress Colette was great with the kids and extremely helpful. The menu is great for the kids and everyone ws able to choose what they wanted. The salad bar is always welcome although can get a little untidy. The food was all good - the kids size steak was a little small but they cooked and brought an extra piece without us asking. Desserts are good too and we all went home full and a little cheered.

Being valentines evening we was both prepared for a longer wait for food and a busy atmosphere however the food did come very quickly as did our drinks. Lovely staff and food, this was the second time I've had a meal here and this time i went for the mixed grill, the chicken was a little dry but I am quite fussy when it comes to chicken, the rest was very well cooked and the salad bar was a refreshing change. I loved the refillable drinks and the range flavours you could try. The staff were friendly and when someone elses pudding was bought to our table, they sorted it out quickly and with a smile. I think next time I will go for the ribs again as they were very juicy tender and well seasoned.

I consider myself a regular at Harvester, yet feel it can be a bit of a hit and miss. Often the service is friendly, warm and fast. However, tonight it felt like the staff were too busy chatting with each other rather than serving customers. More than once I felt the need to walk over to the bar area to get their attention. Furthermore, the salad bar tonight was far from fresh. The cucumbers were clearly out for too long as they were dry. Pasta salad had spilled all around and was not cleaned. All this aside, the food was still tasty, despite sitting on the counter for what felt like ages before being served. Like I mentioned before, it can be a hit and miss. Hopefully it'll be better at my next visit.

Best Harvester we have been to. Salad bar always being restocked and plenty of choice, just wish they still had grated cheese. Food cooked really well and portion sizes are good. We popped in for lunch. I had the fried mushrooms as a starter. They were mis shaped over fried and tasteless. I had a traditional burger and chips as a main. The burger with the bacon was pretty good. However the bun wasn’t crispy. I wouldn’t choose the fat chips again. Not browned or seasoned. Why a tiny amount of coleslaw when your taking as much salad as you require? Overall not bad for the price and must say staff were attentive.
