Went at lunch time and it was mega busy, but the service was brilliant, very quick and attentive. Great value for money, £5 for half a pizza of any flavour and chips. Massive portion, can't fault it at all. Delicious!! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Fantastic value, nice staff and the best pizza I've had. At time of writing it's £6.50 for half a pizza, chips and salad. Half is more like two-thirds and you're guaranteed to leave satisfied.

Very good restaurant, my Dad said he had visited this restaurant the first time he came to Peterboroughin 1985! Seemed a little cramped but maybe because it was popular during the pre-christmas. Good and straightforward selection of pizza, and half pizza served with fries. Servers were friendly and attentive. Didn't see the washrooms. Would definitely return.

Came here today with my family, by stumbling across the place. They have some great value lunch time specials, and unlike most places the quality wasn’t cut on corner! Great fresh produce, stone baked pizzas and good quality French fries. Due to my dietary requirements I had asked the waitress, and she was more than happy to liaise with the kitchen in regards to them, and accommodate them. A stress free, great quality and great value for money! The service was prompt and efficient! Would strongly recommend if in the area! Authentic Italian cuisine!

Always happy with the food and service here. I have been going to the pizza house for many years and I have never been disappointed with the food! Pizzas are always spot on and fresh along with the pasta dishes tasting amazing. The venue is clean, well run and good value for money. One of the best restaurants in the area for sure! Very good pizza, the sauce tastes fresh made in the house and very good dough. And for the price... Very cheap and very good pizza definitely have to go back there. For how good was the pizza I ahve to try the other dishes. I am planing to check if they have delivery service and I am definitely going to change my main supplier of pizza. Not 100% what happened with Pizza House this time as always had great experience here!! We’ve booked a table for later afternoon and were met by some super friendly staff. Ordered some starters and mains (calamari + couple of pizzas) and they came out FAST. Almost worryingly fast. And rightfully so because some of the calamari wasn’t fully cooked, was hard to chew or bite into. The pizzas followed pretty much as soon as the last bite of the starters reached our mouths and also tasted a bit undercooked and very “runny”. Like I’ve said, never really had this kind of experience at Pizza House before so slightly disappointed!

Good value and generous toppings - this is your regular pizza done well. £4.50 for half a pizza with salad/chips, or £5.50 for whole one. Pleasant decor and clearly a local favourite with lots of families on a Sunday. Don't come expecting slow fermented sourdough or wood fired ovens!

Their food is amazing!! We had mushrooms in sauce and meatballs as starters and some pasta with mushrooms sauce and chicken for main course - all of those dishes were sooo delicious 😋 We came at busy time and to be honest we didn't waited long for our food. Everything was hot and freshly prepared. Prices are good, can't complain. We will definitely come back to taste some pizza next time as they looked fab too.

Pizza and ice cream was amazing. Unfortunately the tiramisu was very dry and without coffee flavour (bland) - literally the worst I have ever had. the chocolate cake was dry and the lemon meringue had a weird texture - all served with squirty cream. A bit more TLC with the puds would have made this a 5.

Wow, I didn't think it was possible but this place has got better. The new renovation is really smart, the Pizza is so good and the value particularly, at lunchtimes, is astonishing. £21 for two large peronis (over a pint each) 2 half Pizzas aswell as chips and salad. I felt like I was robbing the place when I paid! Great work guys, great atmosphere in there. Thanks so much we will be back!

Had a takeaway delivery from pizza hous last Friday . We have had many before and always been alright . However on this occasion it was cold when it came and only got 1 meatball .We have always had 2 in the past with a generous portion of pasta . Still tasty but disappointing portion

MAMMA MIA! This is THE best Pizza. place I have EVER been to. I am always dubious about Italian restaurants as all of my family pre-grandparents are Italian so I know good Italian food when I see it. Not only is this place amazing but the deal that they offer - I have NO idea how they make any profit from it. In summary, everytime I am near Peterborough I will be making a point of having my lunch here.

Love this place! We got a takeaway last night. It was very tasty, ordering was simple, collected in a Covid secure manner. We ordered 2 x GF dishes (Pizza House special & Prawn Pasta) they were delicious. Miss going in and will be back as soon as we’re allowed. Highly recommend

A very pleasant Italian Restaurant. But not only pizza, unfortunate name in my view as I avoided it until invited. My surprise to find a huge selection of pastas and cooked to perfection. Good affordable red wine. Definitely a place to return to.

Food is average. Vegetarian pasta was kinda bland. Had to add alot of cheese. Chicken pizza was good. But the service was not good as one of the staff members was in a big hurry to make us leave as they had a few customers waiting. We won't visit here again probably.

Have been here a few times and have never been disappointed, the staff are always friendly and the food is always delicious and there's plenty of it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is always good and it's always busy, we had a few minutes wait for a table but oh my it is worth the wait. There was 3 of us and we had different starters, cheesy garlic bread (delicious and cheesy) bruschetta (wonderfully garlicky) and mine, tomatoes and mozzarella (beautiful) Then we had our main course, spaghetti bolognese (delicious) vegetable pasta (wonderful) and mine salmon tagliatelle (delicious as always) We had a couple of drinks each and no desert's as we was full. I can't recommend this place highly enough, if you are in Peterborough give them a try. We came from SE London to visit family and we always stop here.

Peterborough Pizza House is my fave quick bite as I'm gluten free and Pep catered for me long before anywhere else could be bothered. I always enjoy the food there and the waiters are charming and very attentive. Must be the Italian natural charm. Today was an early bird v early evening visit after hairdressers and before train and it wasn't madly busy. Food was as always plentiful and tasty. My waiter was as always attentive and charming. I didn't care for a female staff member asking what else I wanted before I had swallowed my last mouthful nor the same female bringing my bill finalised and prepared before I had even finished my drink especially when I hadn't even requested it. Made me feel I had to leave whether I'd wanted anything else or not. That aside it's a great Italian and I wouldn't chose anywhere else to eat when I visit Peterborough. It is also very popular and always any day, very busy. I can't think of any better recommendation than that.

I used to frequent this lovely little 'Italian Eataria', in the past, &, on a visit back to 'Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, U.K', i decided to go again. Now under new ownership, the 'Italian Family', &, other staff that run it, have renovated the place, &, it is now larger than it was before. This is a 'Very Busy Place', &, one is best to try to book a table but, it is not necessary. They have a few tables outside of the establishment too, &, the food is delicious, as you'd expect from an 'Italian Mini Restaurant'. It is constantly busy, from when they open, until closing time, &, the staff (bless them), although friendly, &, polite, always look shattered. Ditch the usual establishments that constantly serve up boring 'CHIPS' with almost everything, try this place for a change. They seriously need to find bigger premises. I for 1, am going back their soon, &, my table is already pre-booked. It is situated on 'Cowgate', in 'Peterborough', about 5 minutes walk from the railway station, &, 2 minutes from the upgrading 'Queensgate Shopping Centre', &, 'Bus Station'. In the daytime, they do cater for adults, &, children but, nightime is more for the adults. For those interested, 'YES', they do sell various alcoholic drink (especially wines), that are a little on the expensive side, as well as soft drinks.

Loved bringing my girlfriend here for a lovely meal it was delicious. The flavours came together, the prawns and the squid were cooked to perfection. It was her first time having this meal and it’s now her favourite. Will definitely come back such a romantic evening with music playing in the background.

Went into town today and had been googling to look for a pizza restaurant that wasn’t too expensive and was a decent standard. Found a couple of places to look at in Cowgate. After shopping was done found this little gem of a place bang smack in the middle of the two places I was looking at online. Noticed people queueing to enter then I see why! The boards outside said a whole pizza for £5:50 or half a pizza and chips for £4:50. A lunchtime special six days a week. Wow! I thought. So the three of us joined the queue. After a short wait we was greeted at the door by a friendly chap with menus. Gave us a few minutes to decide then took our order and led up to a table. Waiting a maximum of 10 minutes for our food and considering the place was at capacity! Well, the important bit how did it taste! I ordered a Napoli Pizza without the peppers so it consisted of ham, mushrooms and salami. Piping hot straight from the oven. It was delicious, crusty stone baked crust, lashings of such a tasty tomato sauce. Mozzarella cheese and the all toppings were lovely especially the salami. I could not fault it. My 11year daughter who considers herself as a pizza expert even said that this is the best pizza She has ever had. I cannot fault the food, the service and the attention to the current COVID 19 climate was excellent. 3 pizzas, chips and salad and 3 Pepsi’s all for £22.50. I cannot fault The Pizza House in any shape or form and will highly recommend to my friends and will be visiting again very soon. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch today.

Always such a busy pizza place. You are very close to other diners but so long as there are more than 2 of you it's okay. They've been serving great pasta and pizzas for years. Still family owned and their prices haven't gone up for years.

I love this place, great value at £4.50 for half of a large pizza and chips you cant beat it! Only downside was we had to queue inside for around 20 minutes which isnt a problem but we were in everyones way as there was no where else to stand so with 2 children and 2 adults it was really awkward, it would be better if there was a space out the way till table was ready..
