I have been to a few restaurants in and around Peterborough and some have been good and others not so good, But I was amazed how good the Smokin Burgers and Shakes is. The staff are welcoming and helpful and we're able to answer any questions I had. The restaurant looks wonderful which great lighting and interesting decor. I was given plenty of time to look over the menu and given some recommendations by the server. I went for the Nutty Professor milkshake which was topped with cream and I also had the Smokin House Special Burger and both of these were amazing and beautifully presented and I also had some dips which were home made and tasted great and made this meal a 10 out of 10 for me. You can tell the staff put the heart into their meals and take time to cook and prepare the meal and make it the best it could be. Before coming here if someone had asked me the best place to goto in Peterborough for a great meal I would have said Five Guys or Nandos but this is now the place I would recommend as the best Peterborough has to offer.

Finally got around to eating in Smokin Burger and Shakes and was not disappointed. Great ambience, the one young lad working there was great. Lovely burgers, wraps and fries. As someone else pointed out about the music, whilst it wasn't loud it did contain f word at times so not really ideal with kids around. I provided feedback about the music and to suggest not to have music with f word in it when kids come in and this was taken on board. I'll be back 😎 for the tasty food and to see how we're getting on with the music. I would definitely recommend this restaurant 👍

I don't know why my review land here without content. Ordered burger with milkshake. Burger was different from this what I ordered. Milkshake contain plenty of plastic wrap. Come on guys! Serious food safety issue.

Absolutely Amazing! The Wait Time was About 15 Minutes. The Fusion Burger was incredible, Meat and Chicken was a good match. The Cheesy Chips were nice. There are 2 options for a Burger, 4oz or 8oz. The milkshake was declious. 5/5 from me.

Great place for food! They do an amazing 16oz burger (Big Boss) that I have to get everytime, the meat is great quality and the flavours are great! The masala chips always compliment the burger nicely! I'll always come here everytime I'm nearby. My only nitpick is that I wish they used a different bun for the Big Boss burger as the current one sometimes falls apart. Besides that, the service is great and friendly and the venue is very modern and clean!

Amazing tasty food and good service; however, the music can be loud and offensive, which lets it down. (There is no need for it to be so loud as rap music can be quite vulgar).

If McDonald's is a Fiat 500, Smokin Burger and Shakes is a Porsche. Beautiful, big, juicy, tasty burgers and the milkshakes are incredible. Thick and packing real flavour. Even the chips - cheesy, Masala or Piri-Piri were a class above. Yes, it's more expensive than a Macdonald's but you get what you pay for. Smokin Burgers is a solid 6 out of 5.

Tried their signature burger for the first time today, and it was absolute divine! although i made a mistake and did not order my burger as medium rare, i still got one of the juiciest burgers I've had in a very long time! good presentation and the portions were perfect! i have also ordered the Oreo milkshake which again was absolutely perfect! the customer service was a delight, the staff were very welcoming and nice! i will definitely be returning for more as its now officially my favourite burger place in Peterborough!

Milkshake was Amazing! Creamy delicious honey comb and peanut butter. However the food was disappointing and not worth the £5 they charge for a small burger. Burgers did not have enough toppings and came with boring chips bit dry. I thought the masala was a sauce it's just a sprinkle of flavour on the chips.

Ordered from just eat, multiple burgers, it arrived hot and on time. The chips were perfect, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The burger itself was satisfactory, it had a great bun, good salads, too much sauce and the meat was sub-par. I'm a burger enthusiast and I can tell you, the meat is of a lower quality. Due to this lower quality meat, the burger was cooked well done and this is why the burger tastes greasy. The over greasiness is due to the extra fat found in lower quality meat. It is a good decision to cook the burgers well done by the restaurant as you only serve good meat cooked to medium or medium rare. I recommend the restaurant lower its burger prices, as the meat just isn't that good.

Amazing. Only visited cause I was close by and after a quick search found this little gem. Ordered a Spicey burger and a milkshake. The burger was ready in no time and was freshly made. It tasted fantastic and was really well presented. The milkshake itself was a good size and also taste amazing. The staff where really friendly and the meal itself was very reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

Came here for our sons birthday it was empty when we walked in so customer service expected to be second to none. The young lad behind the counter could have made a little more effort in welcoming us to the place a quick hello welcome where would you like to be seated or even a smile (why so serious) etc would have not hurt. We placed our order of 5 meals. They all came out reasonably in short waiting time. The burgers we had were a good presentation with a nice touch in serving food on a slate. All the burgers were juicey and delicious. Generous amounts of toppings. The chips were standard notting award winning the portions can be slightly more as they come in a metal bucket and not filled to the top. Again the young lad could have came over and asked how our food was do we need anything else. We had to ask for napkins but this should be standard on the tables as the burgers can become messy and condiments dripping out. The price of the food is a little expensive but as a one off comfortable to afford. Overall lovely food especially burgers the place was nice and clean good seating arrangement. Brush up on making customers feel more welcome perhaps read between the lines that it may be someone's birthday (it was our sons as he had a big age badge on him) or a special occasion and perhaps a small discount or on the house milkshake wont break the bank. Excellent service , friendly and polite. We were fasting and they gave us complimentary drink and starter while food was being prepared. Food was delicious. We will be coming here again and again . The best place in Peterborough. They had prayer facilities too . What more could one ask for ...highly recommended .

Have been patiently waiting for this place to open as we don’t have a great gourmet halal burger place in Peterborough. I ordered it as take-away - Burgers didn’t disappoint, however the service wasn’t so great. The waitress was having a bit of a breakdown over something going wrong with another order, which her colleague fixed and they then got my order wrong which was only noticed by me when I checked it before I left. The waitress’ response to this when I told her was a blank expression and “ok then”. She went to change it and heard herself and her colleague bicker over it, apologised and I assumed it had been corrected but got home and it was still the wrong fries. Place is still new and I know things go wrong in the kitchen but I still expect some professionalism. It was also a long wait, 45mins for 2 meals. All in all if you’re after good burgers and shakes then you won’t be disappointed.
