Reviews of The Hampton Brewers Fayre
A. H.
I recently visited the brewers fayre in Hampton. Upon arrival I was greeted by happy, smiley staff. We went to order drinks at the bar which we were served quickly and efficiently.
When we sat down to order food my daughter was amazed with the choice on the children's menu.
Food arrived I had a burger which was absolutely amazing, my daughter had the pizza which she loved! And my partner had the curry which he said was "the best one" he's had in a pub.
My daughter absolutely loved the soft play there too!
We will definitely be back again soon for another delicious meal.
All staff seemed friendly and were very helpful.
Highly recommend.

An amazing place where the kids are safe and can play.
The food looks amazing and the offers a great.

A lovely afternoon tea with friend Val...Great service, value for money, friendly and helpful staff.

I will review properly once I have paid another visit to The Hampton. It was ok yesterday but to be fair it was Father's day and extremely busy. Staff were pleasant and friendly. They did their best to refill the hot breakfast selections but due to the queues what you had on your plate cooled quickly. The queue for toast was a no go for me anyway. However, I did have a hot breakfast selection and eventually some toast 😋
M. K.
The place is nicely decorated, we were greeted quickly and found a good table by the window. They didn't have any chicken however this was made up for by the lasagna, because it was lovely! The kids meals were good portions, brilliant order system for them too! no complaints! Lovely place, lovely staff.

I stay at Premier Inn's across The UK and have dined at Brewers Fayre restaurants many times. I always have a rump steak as a main meal and prefer it to be prepared 'blue'. Almost none of the chefs can get this right, but last night's steak was done perfectly. Thank you very much.

Went as a group of 8 for breakfast which we booked. Food on the hot buffet was almost empty when we got there at 915am and although it was all refilled, it took such a long time. There were no pastries left either. The toaster cooked bread either pale on one go through or burnt on two goes! 😆

I arrived 10 mins early to my 6.30pm booking. I was promptly greeted by a staff member who took me over to a quiet table. The restaurant was clean and inviting, covid signs for the one way system were clearly marked and easily recogniseable. A staff member provided a menu and carefully explained how the meal worked; they took my drink order almost immediately. It arrived very quickly and my meal order was taken. The first course arrived within 10min and there was no issue with me making a request for it to be altered slightly. Once finished it was cleaned away and my main arrived 5mins later. The service was very efficient and the staff were polite and friendly.

Went for a Sunday carvery and I was extremely impressed. Very family friendly, the staff were talkative and continued the friendly approach, and I was extremely impressed with the flexibility when changing sides on the children's menu. The carvery was fantastic value for money and really enjoyable. I upgraded mine and was happy with the amount served. The kids play area is just another added bonus.
L. Q.
Good food freshly made and lovely service. Justyna was soo patient with our ordered. Enjoyed every bit of it, we will definitely be back!
K. L.
Breakfast all you can eat was OK. Prices at the bar quite expensive. Outside tables quite rickety not comfortable, patio and area need attention.
R. O.
They let me work out of here during the day, bottomless coffee at £2.69 a quiet area and a powerpoint, couldn't ask for more. Helpful and friendly staff. Food was nice, good size portions. Covid precautions adhered to, felt safe.
H. M.
Ate here for the first time. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Clean and comfy seating area. The carvery was SO TASTY - full of flavour. Marshmallow cookie dessert was heavenly! So glad we stopped there! Thank you.
m. m.
Nice place for breakfast, quick service and friendly staff. Not the best brewers fayre but not the worse. Great kids play area. Kids eat free which is good.
C. D.
The service was excellent. The food was perfect apart from the chips they tasted as though they could have done with been cooked slightly longer but I think that's more of a personal preference.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!!
If you are a wine drinker don’t bother coming here they only had about 2 wines available from their menu the rest where unavailable this has happened the last three visits over a period of 3 weeks…to top it all we booked a table last night for 7pm turned up 10 minutes early to a not busy Sunday evening. We were seated and a few minutes later our order taken 40 minutes later we still had not got our starter now getting quite annoyed. The waitress seemed to be more interested in her loud mouth swearing friends on the other table. After a while the waitress came over to us and asked if we would like anything else clear to see we had not had any of our food order….to which we said we had not had our starters yet by this time it was to late so I told her to cancel our order off she went when she came back to tell us it was cancelled I said you had not ordered it had you!! to which she said she had not even put the order through…I would think twice about using this restaurant…
C. M.
Super staff, super food, 2 good sized meals for £9.49 until 6pm. Safe play area for children. Brilliant.
L. S.
first time visit. the place was very clean and the staff were very nice. the food was ok for pub grub but it was so noisy. its only to be expected as its a family place. we still had a nice time but if you want to sit eat and chat its wasnt for us that day. we would go back.
S. T.
Only went for breakfast buffet but staff were a delight, explained the whole process, were kind a friendly and checked on us regularly to make sure we were happy. Was was very tasty as well. Will go back again!

Great place food was excellent service was good but one person called Logan behind the bar just ruined the experience I asked for two glasses of rise which we had already been drinking she said she didn’t know which one it was even though we had a tab runnng so it might st have said on there I asked what rose they had she said the fridge is over there go and have a look wow customer service out the window so I looked told her what I would like then watched her pour it and she spilt it everywhere when I asked about it I was virtually told I have the shakes if you don’t like it tough don’t ask me to serve you again wow didn’t ask for that
I did mention this to the manager if the day and I was told she was pregnant so that means if your pregnant just insult everybody and give your company a bad name
Totally unacceptable
J. A.
Staff pleasant. Food was good chips were crispy
J. R.
Went there for dinner
Took my twin grand daughters
As there is a play area inside
Bonus is
While your sat eating
You can watch the kids on the screens in the dining area
Absolutely brilliant
P. S.
As this restaurant is attached to the Premier hotel it seemed more convenient during my visit to Peterborough. That said on my last evening there was a few minor bumps in the road, one a refund transaction, the other food related. The manager rectified both with no fuss. Fresh food was returned very quickly. I highly recommend the vegan sloppy joe burger it was excellent.. in my humble opinion that is. Good job 👏 I will be back!
N. H.
An ok place to visit. Soft play inside venue is amazing but food is just ok. Used to visit a lot when I lived locally but not so much anymore.
A. J. P.
went here last with the family , amazing service who were all friendly and welcoming, the food was tasty and great value would recommend!
A. G.
Great all you can eat breakfast very please and will defo be going back.
Charlotte was amazing went above and beyond to accommodate us
R. D.
I love coming here because the food is always good, the staff are very friendly and I like the rewards card.
L. B.
Food was good, but the service was slow, took 45mins for our desserts and it wasn't busy!
C. P.
Appeared to be short of staff food OK staff were friendly and made it comfortable because of their shortage.reasonable prices
M. P.
It's great place to go with your kids because of the jnsode play area. But I think they focus on that and they forgot the importance of good meal . We where a family of 6 . And everything we ordered was below average on the taste . Also too expensive.
The kids had great time tho . So if the quality of the food improves then it would be our weekly visit .
J. F.
The food is good and it's a great place for families with children. The play area is great and with cctv screens in the bar & dining area you can relax knowing your children are safe and you can see them on the screens. Big thumbs-up from me, knowing our Granddaughters were happy and safe 😀
C. A.
Went for a meal with my son and his wife Saturday food very nice didn't t rush you to get out had time for a chat before we left.Staff very pleasent
R. H.
Booked with part of my stay at Premier Inn next door. Evening meal and breakfast package really good. I have only given 4 stars as there was a long wait for my evening meal due to a technical problem with the tills sending the orders to the kitchen. However when it did arrive the food was excellent, well presented and plentiful. The staff are really nice and helpful. Breakfast which is self service was excellent with so much to offer for the price. Will definitely recommend if staying at Premier to try this. But remember you have to sign up to the meal deal at the time of booking your room to qualify.
P. N.
The food was great but the gravy was watery, the staff were very friendly
P. V.
Really nice restaurant lovley people and kids play area well you can just chill out.
M. P.
Went for breakfast and it was brilliant not only full english but u could also have continental lovely to finish meal with a selection of fruit. The staff were friendly and chatty a really great time.
p. B.
We had a lovely time at this restaurant, very clean, the tables were well set out and the place observed the covid safety rules with masks and screens. We had wonderful food. We would like to thank Jess for table service, she was such a cheerful young lady, very polite and very good at her job. Thank you again.
R. W.
See my review of the Hampton Premier Inn. I see the accommodation and catering as one package as that's how I book it.
E. D.
Overall acceptable quality of food and service provided.
S. B.
Hundreds of homemade British beers and ciders made at local Norfolk brewery to choose from. Mango cider is out of this word. Simply delicious. Also local gins and wines. Inside and out side dog friendly areas. They have a tearoom making some food but its very minimal unfortunately and serve it a very short time. Tea room needs really to step up and start making more food. They used to make their own flour and their own breads with lots of choices of sandwiches which were amazing for many years. The new vendors took over a tearoom and food they sell is very basic and non exciting. The brewery is the best thing ever they open here at Denver and everyone should start supporting our local British producers.
P. R.
Thing with the Premier Inn is you know what you are getting. Rooms are nice, bed is comfy and the food and service in the restaurant is excellent. Plenty of parking and a lot of fast food places near by if you don't want a full on meal. Downside is the local boy racers use the roads near the hotel as a race track and it can get quite noisy. I've stayed here several times even during lock down and I'll stay here again because the pluses out weigh the negatives.
O. B.
Not a bad bit of grub, all you can eat breakfast, and a fair price 👌🏻
S. L.
Food was good, but unfortunately the waitress was new and really did not know what she was doing, needed more training.
After meal some member of staff in plain clothing made us feel that we should be leaving although our child was still eating!!
C. B.
We had a fantastic time with the family and had a nice meal
J. W.
Food lovely, breakfast definitely worth the money, plenty of choice in hand, staff helpfull and friendly
T. R.
This place is local to us but recently we have been a few times for breakfast. Each time recently we have been served by Chelsea, such a lovely girl and she shows the same enthusiasm to all the guests that she serves.
Thank you Chelsea for making breakfast enjoyable and to the chef of course.
K. N.
Pleasant experience food and service very good, will definitely return.
P. W.
Lovely, friendly staff. Beautiful food
P. O.
Always love going here for the Sunday roast...
W. A.
Great breakfast, reasonably priced can't go wrong
B. M.
Fairly busy but OK. Staff training, which means slight delay, but we all have to learn, & mobile card machines not working so everyone queuing at the tills, but no excessive wait for food, & pleasant service. No problems as far as I'm concerned
L. P.
Went here the other day with my son, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Like pretty much all restaurants you need to call ahead to book. I booked for us to go to the play area and eat. Was a great day, I could relax as the children's play area is very visible unlike most in door play areas and due to the pandemic this place is actually manageable compared to how it was prior to lockdown whereby parents would just keep coming and it was often overcrowded with parents spending all day there.
I think even post lockdown it would be a great idea to have a cap on the amount of children to not exceed 30 kids and keep the time limit in place as it really does make the world of difference.
I was served by a really nice young lady, I believe she was called Mel. She did a great job of making sure everyone's needs were met.
J. S.
Although fully booked we could not fault the customer service. Allowed the children time to play whilst recommended near by other establishments in the chain. Booked further on and would happily return when back in the area.
C. W.
My friends and I had a Lovely experience, we had re-fillable not drinks with our meals and was able to enjoy these sitting at a table inside the Ballpit Chikdrens play area which made it more adaptable to keep the little ones amused. Shall definetely return.
S. E.
Food was really good and staff nice. Wasn't very busy yet food took 50 mins... dread to think how long you'd wait on a busy day
P. S.
Very good breakfast. Toast, Cereals, American pancakes, crumpets, croissants, yoghurts and fruit. Also sausage, egg fried or scrambled, bacon, mushrooms beans and tomatoes. Costa coffee all inclusive in the breakfast price. Tea was available too
R. C.
Food good staff friendly enjoyable evening out with family
D. H.
Starter served ok main course neat was hot chips and peas cold. When complain was told we had not eaten the fast enough.!!
M. T.
Went for Sunday lunch, the food was like warm and had to wait ,albeit because they only had one person on the servery cutting meat and replenishing stocks from the kitchen,in the hour I was there not one employee offered to help the young man
E. M.
Breakfast- morning staff
The staff were absolutely brilliant and lovely. Great customer service and didn't have to wait very long to be seated and definitely had very quick service in regards to food and paying. All three staff members were super polite and kind, smiling warm faces that made the whole family feel welcome and at ease.
H. G.
Lovely waitress, great service. Gammon steak was very poor.
A. B.
Great place to take the kids in the soft play!
s. p.
We was In your pub today and we had to wait a hour and ten minutes for our starters I know u was busy but there wasn't just us complaining but others aswell
g. K.
Not bad, description of the dessert wasn't quite what I expected but quite full when we left.
J. C.
Just had lovely meal here - steak was done to perfection ! Many thanks to Linda our waitress - very helpful, polite & friendly& also to Cameron who showed us to our table & again was a helpful , friendly guy. Great set up & very well organised. Thanks guys & we'll be back for another meal soon !
M. R.
Good food reasonably priced great for the kids
R. D.
They got us in for a table of four the food was ok I was super hungry and for the price I expected a little more. Overall good experience would come again.
L. G.
We love coming here. So many choices of delicious food. We were told that the food could be an hour because they were so busy but it was only about half a hour. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly then I had the Belgian waffle which is my favourite. The staff are so friendly and polite. I look forward to going again
C. J.
Food a bit hit and miss.
Everything i ordered i was told something wasn't included as they had run out eg mixed grill no gammon and things like chips came out luke warm.
T. D.
Nice atmosphere, clean and comfortable. Very impressive menu. Staff were polite and helpful. Waiting time was approx 30 minutes but the staff warned us before ordering. Offers unlimited drinks and the food was brill! Would recommend.
m. r.
Sunday carvery here was lovely. We were going to go across the road, but it was too busy. Came here instead. So glad we did. Meat was cooked to perfection, plenty of veg choice, and staff were friendly, with nothing seeming too much trouble. Think this is my new favourite Sunday lunch spot!!
D. S.
Ordered a club sandwich off the bar menu which was very good, but it took over 30 minutes to arrive in a relatively empty bar after politely asking about the order.
R. R.
Really nice meal, great staff who are always polite, food was hot and cooked well. It's not the worlds best restaurant but they are good at what they do. Price was very reasonable and worth every penny. Will be visiting again.
g.
Great service & yummy food.
Of you pay for a fizzy drink...like coke/etc...you can have free refills.
You use a machine you get the fizzy drinks & ice yourself. Which Is good for me because I love a good amount of ice.
So far I've only tried the burger meals. They are delicious, but very filling!
The only drawback is the prices.
L. n.
Good for kids to eat free x
P. J.
Um walked in, "was a Pub with no beer" and as we wanted to eat we decided to leave it....
D. M.
The food is very amazing. Waitress is very friendly. I really recommend this place to eat
A. P.
Excellent service, great quality and value for money meal
B. D.
Lovely place to take grandchildren for the play area, unfortunately we decided to have lunch, so wish we hadn't. The food was very below what we expected, our granddaughters burger was well overcooked and my pie needed a hammer and chisel to get into the meat. Such a shame as all the staff were nice and location great.
A. R.
Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We ordered the Sirloin steak which was cooked exactly to order and was delicious. We also ordered the Chicken and Bacon Salad which was also delicious.
T. M.
Had a breakfast last Saturday it was beautiful 😍
S. P.
Good food and a really nice soft play for my 7yr old and 2 yr old :)
K. C.
Lovely place and lovely food but their service delivery could be improved. A lady with a baby struggled to get a high chair and the morning staff just carried on talking with no offer of assistance. I observed two customer approach this staff member to ask for service as she was too busy talking. This is areal shame as I enjoyed my stay and the meals apart from observing this on my last day.dont let this put you off.
l. l.
I have been bringing my son here since he was a toddler, even having his 3rd bday party in then bear factory... my son now is 15yrs old. I think that alone speaks volume. I have to say recently I have been amazed at the fresh ideas n changes being made across the restaurant. Staff on the whole are welcoming, friendly and some even a little cheeky which is fab with a sense of humor and my son and I. Thank you for putting up with us for 15 years.
Great value for money, great family restaurant, kids can run off steam whilst they wait for dinner and be cared for by amazing fun factory staff.
Thanks again guys you rock. X
J. P.
The food was ok for the price, the starters and mains came out very quick as would be expected when microwaved. However the pie for mains was not properly heated and was cold on the top and in the middle. Overall ok for the price when in the meal deal from premier Inn. The beer selection was average but the beers themselves were fresh enough. It has a very early closing time though and we were told to leave quite rudely by the staff there. However for the convenience next to the Premier Inn it was decent enough and it's good that it had the outside seating area to enjoy a bit of sun!
P. H.
I was booked in smoothly and served promptly. Service was friendly and prompt to for main meal and dessert. It took a long time to get served the last drink and bill, probably hecause I was in towards the end of the night.
S. J.
Excellent service. Didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. It was piping hot and delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go
again and recommend to my friends.
A. W.
We had a lovely time here. The 2 girls we had swith us went into the play centre. We had a great time.
M. J. H.
Typical conglomerate nonsense here. I was not expecting much upon arrival, considering we just wanted to eat something other than your usual fast food. I was right to be apprehensive, the food was low grade at best, and not value for money in any way,I used to work in the kitchen of somewhere similar, and most of it was microwaved,I can tell instantly. The tables, chairs, carpets, and most worryingly the cutlery were filthy - complete with solid particles of food and industrial dishwasher residues! We actually used the water we were drinking with our serviettes to clean the cutlery, shocking considering the place was almost empty. I cannot understand why these pop up so called family pubs have such poor hygiene standards? In my opinion it comes from the top,if management have less than average standards, then the staff will too,I come across this in all similar outlets all over the UK,and unfortunately this was the LAST time I will visit such an outlet - EVER,due to a culmination of the things I have elaborated on above. Terrible experience for my business partner and I.
D. K.
Nice food, reasonable priced, very friendly and helpful waitresses.
S. B. (.
The kitchen lost our ticket inbetween the starters and main courses. Because it was busy and they don't have a standard table service with waitresses we went nearly an hour without our food which then came standard without our requests (No mayo etc). The food is good but don't hang around if your food is slow your ticket may have gone awol. We were offered free deserts to make up for it so the service gets 3 stars but the kitchen let the team down.
C. R.
Nice place for lunch with my Bestie . Food was good value for the £8.99 deal - well recommended
Rose was the perfect waitress
S. N.
Perfect place for having a dinner with the family and friends and let the kids play while you enjoy a nice conversation. It has big area with slides for the kids and nice spacious restaurant area. There are windows that allows you to keep an eye to the play area but also there are tv screens/cameras that are focused on the play area. Definitely is the favourite place to go for the whole family. :)
C. R.
Not busy but v noisy with lots of kids around. We had a lovely meal we didnt have long to wait for our meal. The waiter said he would be back to clear our plates but we sat there for at least another 15 mins and plates still sat there. We had a 2 for 1 voucher so got a good deal. GF if you ask when ordering food. Refil drinks but had to walk from one end of resturant to the other to get them.
R. G.
Great system walk route to table ,felt very safe with there social distance, staff greeting you and serving you were friendly and put you at ease .well done brewers fayre you are brilliant and so was your fabulous food . would definitely recommend anyone to pay a visit ❤️
P. A.
Our experience here has been very hit and miss - the food is usually of a good quality and the buffet nights are a great idea, however we have experienced very long wait times for food and incorrect plates being delivered to our table. Usually feels a little short staffed.
C. H.
A nice enough place to eat but you get the impression they are resting on their laurels, given assumed trade from the attached hotel franchise. Service can be a little patchy. Sometimes you get a friendly attentive one, sometimes one who makes you feel like you are a nuisance. Breakfasts are often missing or incredibly low on advertised items.
E. M.
Popped in for food and drink we were served by Katie Harrison and she was friendly and polite and very welcoming.
J. O.
Great friendly staff accommodated a family gathering of 13 with great food and we were also there for breakfast the next day which was superb xxxx
B. O.
Very poor food, booked as part of our premier inn booking. This is our third time as we have family we visit regularly. Dry, overcooked food, served disdainfully. Kitchen staff seem to be having a lot of fun, if the noise from the kitchen is anything to go by, but such appalling food meant our time wasnt so good. Won't come to the Brewers Fayre Hampton again. Plenty of other establishments in this area.
J. n.
A group of us went. Was such a good service we was given. Would recommend this place for a social gathering
C. M.
Great curry night on a Tuesday. £6.99 for a good selection of all you can eat. Food was hot and fresh buffet style. Plenty of sides included too I.e. Naans, poppadoms, chutney... Staff were friendly even with a big group of us to look after. Great play area for the kids, really good value and child friendly staff on hand to help. Looks like the do specials throughout the week, will have to go back again. Many thanks to all.
J. N.
Excellent service, food was lovely waitresses were friendly and helpful good time had by all 3 people in party
E. B.
Usual Brewers Fayre, farye. The staff were very nice. The children were well behaved and loved the play area.
J.
I loved the food it was amazing but I think the play area should be a bit more big so children can play better games with more space.. but other all thank you for a great day.. ow and the staff were very politeful and they are nice
M. M. L.
Nice staff. Very long wait for cup and hot milk was look warm no good for a HOT chocolate drink
H. G.
Had some lunch there with family. I had a generous Yorkshire pudding and sausage, which was fine, although the gravy was a little thin. I'm sure there are better places to eat, but it's good value.
L. C.
Good food, came fast service brilliant
A.
The food is both good and affordable, with a decent variety of menu items available. The carvery is decent but not massive, but it gets the job done. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend to a friend.
J. T.
Sunday roast was great and kids loved soft play.
P. T.
Shocking. No salmons opted for chicken bacon salad.Worst that I have ever had.Limp lettuce cold bacon half a tomato and chicken No croutons until I asked and then pieces of brown bread. My husband had steak.Old chips onion ring and peas. The steak was grissly .For 14 pounds you would have expected much better.Really poor substandard meal.
E. V.
Very tasty burgers, good beer options, they remain open until late. The food is expensive and the side portion are very small for the price. Soft drinks totally overpriced. If you go just for a burger it's alright, but if you order sides or starters, the bill will be similar to a luxury place.
S. J.
Food is nice BUT watch out they have changed the menus (well some of them) ordered the chicken tikka for £8.99 when it came asked about the popadom told it doesn't come with it any more. Checked the menu and IT WAS in there. Questioned them and was told they had updated the menu so it must be an old one and they are trying to reduce costs so removed them from the cheaper menu, but I could have bought one for 25p... to late to be told that after the meal and it doesn't say anywhere that you can buy them and wasn't asked when ordering. Don't mind them taking it off the menu as it's still value for money but when it says it has it, it should come with it and they should remove all old menus.
A. G.
Unexpectedly pleased with both food and service. Would happily return for an enjoyable affordable lunch. Children's eating/play area is a brilliant idea.
M. M.
Sunday very busy. Guy at the till was grumpy and did not explain the mechanics of Sunday Roast for us who were first timers.
Nice play area fir kids... though you will have to pay extra £3.
Sunday roast meat portuon small... but can fill your tummy with potatoes and veg.
Is an OK place
D. H.
Average food, good facilities, long wait for food. Cheap prices, get what you pay for
T. E.
Hmm what can I say ... It's a brewers fayre, same food cooked differently, ask for a medium steak get a well done (all possible moisture cooked out of it) ! A T-Bone can't be cooked rare but needs to be cooked just until the fats rendered ! That's what was asked for but got a bit of shoe leather :( Inedible to person who likes steak that has flavour !There was also a burger called a black and blue because it has blue cheese in it ! No blue cheese in the burger :( ... It was an okay burger apart from missing some bits but the chips were awful ! I think they were waved over the fryer as there was no crispness to them and they were horrible undercooked :( The staff were lovely ... well the girls were :) The guy that was locking up wasn't, obviously thought we were all drunk ! Guess who was the driver and had been drinking tea all night ? I went for a wee it took me a moment when I came out for me to work out which way was back out to the beer garden this guy appeared asked where I was going I said beer garden he said there was no one out there ! I said there was and continued out there ... he followed he took the glasses off the table (it was so much trouble for him) he never said he was locking up, there was no last orders announced ... he wasn't happy ! He was downright rude ! We walked round the front of the building to meet one of our party that needed the loo , he was by the bar but wouldn't look at me when I rattled the door instead he walked out the back. He was rude to her when she came to the front and couldnt get out she had to go through the premier in ! A great night with good company 6 of us. Just a shame it was in this particular establishment with a chef that can't cook and bad tempered staff :/

Food was lovely and I will definitely go there again. Good prices too.
V. M.
It was ok, the staff member we felt with with super lovely, can't remember her name unfortunately, the fruit didn't look very appatising but cooked breakfast and toast etc was fine.
a. b.
Friendly staff, good food
B. D.
Friendly and helpful staff, food is what you'd expect but never had an issue with it. My kids really like it here.
Can experience a long wait when it's busy but that's the same anywhere I guess.
D. M.
Nice and easy to use. No over crowding, felt covid safe. Food was great for a sunday roast.
J. J.
Found manageress of breakfast and dinner service very helpful don't recall her name but appeared to be Italian very professional
G. P.
Ok so this place is not any kind of gastro pub. The place is clearly understaffed and a little tired. But the staff are friendly its clean even though there are kids everywhere and the food is not too shabby. It's for kids and it worked for us so kudos to the staff. I would happily go again..
C. C.
Good food and good service from the staff
W. C.
Again, always think it's the staff that make the place and these are no exception. Helpful, friendly and I've been there so often, we're almost known on sight. Welcoming and can get quite busy if the hotel is but it's another easy location for meetings. Only downsides; music a tad louder than is helpful (especially if writing reports or on a web conference, but hey how) and food is expensive for what it is.
P. B.
Most of the tables hadn't been cleaned when I visited.
D. M.
Well well well, I must say I love it, when the tiny weeny arrived I could have died, so cute, the coleslaw was a revaluation and the chilli's were inspired, don't even get me started on the buns, as sir mixalot once said, I dont want none if it ain't got buns Hun, and boy did it have buns, wowwee did I love them buns. Brewers fayre, I have 3 words for you, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum.
Just to reiterate I love dem buns.
PS the burger was the second best meat I have taken today.
J.
Good food, great service. Helpful friendly staff
M. C.
We usually use a different Brewers Fayre but the Hampton was well up to scratch with friendly helpful team members. The portions were very good with plenty to eat and we enjoyed our meal there and would not hesitate to go there again.
S. A.
Play area is value for money but a wee too small so at peak times you have no where to sit (as parents) and too congested for kids to run around freely as it's that busy!
Food is ok, place is clean and presentable but the toilets absolutely disgusting so avoid!
J. K.
Saturday evening restaurant not to busy lovely atmosphere. Food and drinks order placed, staff mentioned offers of the day. Food was delicious, staff checked a number of times if all was well. Lovely evening thank you.
M. S.
Dissapointed
Not good, booked a table for 7pm & we decided on the chef's counter for a meal. Although it was served until 8pm we were told that it was finished despite there being plenty left even after finishing our alternative choices. The food was normal but we dined along with a large number of fly's in the restaurant. Won't be returning in a hurry
.
M. P.
Nice restaurant. Nice relaxed ambiance. Poor service by food order assistant. Atleast try smile when serving. Face like a wet Sunday.
Great service by bar staff, polite and friendly ☺!
Food waiter friendly and helpful. ☺
Chicken liver pork pate - bland and tasteless.
Salad. Fresh ☺
S. W.
Love the buffet breakfast, the best we've had, a lot of variety, there could be more fruit on offer, and pancakes run out quickly, but overall my favourite place to go for breckfast.
A. B.
The staff who was on Sunday was fantastic ttfn
T. S.
It's a nice place to bring your kids, meet friends and have a tasty bite. The play area is pleasant. It can be quite noisy but that's understandable.
N. S.
My son and I love coming here. Food is lovely and a nice size playarea. Shame that the toilets by kiddie area were shut and giving off a nasty smell. This didn't however stop us enjoying our food.
s. t.
Three family just hit the breakfast. The food is ok. obviously plentiful because it's all you can eat, but £10 a pop. All that encourages is overeating to get your money's worth. What you would normally eat, for £10, is naughty
P. M.
Went for lunch during Eat Out incentive...was not impressed...the place was not even busy at 2.30pm it took over 1 hour for Main Course to arrive...giving it a 3 star as staff were really nice...starter was ok main well not so nice am sure they forgot my order and burger bun was hard...i got problems in mouth was expecting soft bun this was just terrible...i would never go back 😔
L. D.
Male bar assistant ruins the experience from the word go!!! He was ignorant to myself and my partner as well as other members of the public. We love the breakfasts there and often pop over for a treat. However his sour face soon ruins the moment. The place its self is not disabled friendly and could do with some work to make it so.
K. G.
Excellent. Thank you staff and Belinda
G. M.
Carvery was delicious and staff very friendly. Great place for kids to burn some energy while you enjoy a drink and some delicious food. Will definitely be back
A. D.
Food was delivered quite prompt from ordering. Friendly staff that made you feel welcome. Only downside on my visit was they had ran out of 2 draught lagers
J. S.
About half of the menu was out of stock and the place just wasn't loved; either that or they had a really busy weekend?
The staff were kind but there seemed like a communication problem in the kitchen.
I felt frustrated on behalf of the manager, however he seemed to be just as lazy.
L. B.
I had the rib eye steak and it was the best steak I have ever eaten and I have been to a lot of places to find a good steak , so impressed I bought the chef a pint . Would definitely recommend you try here , waiting on staff all polite and efficient .
I. D.
Brilliant service very helpful went above and beyond for our party of 12 would recommend it to anyone food cooked perfectly and all came out at same time even tho ordered at different time will be back again
P. H.
Nice food and friendly staff
E. W.
Food was ok. We have had much better food in similar pubs. My child enjoyed the play area. Parking was plentifull and good location for people traveling in a1.
P. F.
Great staff, Great service and great prices. It was a pleasent surprise for a chain pub.
L. A.
Nothing bad about the food but it's very generic chain restaurant type food.
Had curry which was okay, tasted like the sauce was out of a jar.
Not a bad place at all, just nothing to rave about!
a. w.
This is a place to go when you fancy nice, good quality, reasonably priced food any day or time of the week. Very low key & casual dining. Would highly recommend this pub for families.
G. B.
Quite rowdy, parents with children in the wrong part of pub running around virtually unsupervised and staff disinterested. Food and drinks fine but remember that people do sometimes re-visit and remember things.
L. W.
Brilliant food , best service in a clean friendly place which makes a lovely atmosphere for all the family👪 to enjoy😁.
Definitely worth going back again for.......
S. T.
Excellent Food & Very welcoming staff at a very reasonable price!
R. S.
I am not fussy but the food was ok but not very hot, and it wasn't just a my table, There was quite a few complaints about it from other tables. A shame because I was there at the beginning of the year and was very good
D. B.
What a fantastic meal there were 9 of us we had a great time
The staff were very helpful as it was my grandsons birthday they took time to bring out his cake all in all best time ever
First time for a carvery meal I rate it 5 star yummy
H. M.
Stayed 3 nights at the Premier Inn next door, had breakfast and evening meals at the brewers fayre and have to say the staff, food and all safety measures where fantastic, thankyou for a fantastic stay 😀

Y. G.
When food arrived chips cold peas also cold the only thing hot was the scampi. Gammon not hot same with chips and peas. Couldn't fault the staff
D. T.
Good place for taking kids for food or just a play at the soft play area.
S. T.
Great food staff were friendly and helpful. Loads of parking its attached to the premier inn hotel great if you have had a few to many in the bar
K. b.
Excellent set up so kids can play and not wonder around the pub and get lost or bother other diners, food was lovely and service was great wish more places were set like this as it's the first peaceful meal with my 2 year old I've had in a long time 😁
T. D.
I've been visiting Peterborough every two weeks for around a year now and always try to stay at the attached premier inn due to location. The pub provides decent dinner options and breakfasts and you can usually find a fairly quiet table if you are looking to do some work in the evening.
W. P.
All you can eat breakfast, what's not to like, friendly staff and abiding by Covid-19 regulations.
S. U.
Food ok. Sitting next to the refillable drinks unit and ice dispenser does not bode well for a relaxing meal and quality time with my man. This equipment shoild not be in with diners.
A. P.
Was packed due to a group of 30 just ordered. Only 30 minutes for our meals - hot & tasty. Staff coped well.
N. D.
The food was very nice, a very clean and tidy environment but, as I suspect, there was not enough staff around for a quick service, the staff that were there were very nice and professional
A.
Good food reasonably priced, beer selection not the best, but through no fault of the place. Friendly staff, nice and clean.
B. B.
Reasonably priced food with good service..wouldn't recommend the pork and beef lasagne but great choice on menu...they also have themed nights i.e curry night where they have buffet where you help yourself.
L. C.
We thoroughly enjoy the Sunday Carvery here! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice play area for the children too.
M. W.
Had an enjoyable time there with my family.Dinner was very nice, portions were generous, overall very satisfied.
B. S.
It was OK. Managed to get the Premier Inn meal deal.
S. E.
Went for a carvery the veg weren't hot but we booked for our Xmas Dinner
K. H.
Stayed next door for a local business meeting, so ate in the evening (mixed grill & it was lovely) and again the next morning for the £9.50 buffet English Breakfast
H. D.
Nice food. Not freshly made as it tasted like microwaved rice rather than fresh but the food was good and price was good
O. K.
Saturday night but I was met with courtesies and staff wanted to serve you.
Food is great, very reasonable price and kids' play area equipped so great for family.
C. S.
We had the early evening deal two meals for £899 and a starter and 2 soft drinks £15, good value would go again
D. F.
2 meals for £8.99 excellent value & good selection to choose from
T. M.
Don't like chips with skins on look like old chips warmed up, not very appetising.
O. C.
Good Food, good times. Fabrizia is very accommodating.
M. G.
Excellent customer service our waitress was very polite and knowledgeable
C. S.
Excellent service despite being short staffed.Good value for money.
R. S.
Overall not the best place I have ever eaten. Although the staff were polite and helpful the quality of food wasn't the best.
N. M.
Reasonably priced. Food was very good and so was service
d. h.

Service was slow. Food was acceptable and reasonably priced
R. W.
Food was ok but order came out wrong hald of mixed grill was not on the plate! Had to go back to kitchen to re-plate
J. P.
Typical Brewers Fayre. Rather understaffed. Many items on menu unavailable.
C. R.
Rebeka was absolutely lovely. Very polite and helpful and definitely made our visit comfortable and pleasant. We will be back soon.

We were looked after really well, fantastic breakfast
S. S.
The gammon was almost too tough and overcooked to eat and the garden peas had been held too long. The service and staff were good.
