We really enjoyed our dinner. The food was delicious as always, and all the staff members were smilingly and helpful. Definitely recommend it 👌 We were also amazed with such a small bill count. Car park at only 2 minutes walk from there, where you can pay as little as £3.20/2h or £6.20/12h. We will come here again for sure. P.s. they should put a heating on the guest toilets as there was freaking freezing 🥶 😫

I recently ate here with some of my work colleagues at their recommendation, as they'd been before. The place is a decent size, well thought out and was very welcoming. The waiting staff were really excellent, they were attentive and friendly without being over familiar which is a rare skill. I was already sure I would visit again before I'd eaten anything just on the strength of the staff! The food was fabulous. Fresh, a decent portion size, well presented and absolutely delicious. My creamy garlic mushroom starter was mouth watering but my lamb chop main was incredible, even the rice was delicious. I would definitely recommend eating at the Turkish Kitchen.

Simply - just wow! Amazing service from the time you've walked in. Masive thanks to all staff as they're giving great customer service. Even when there was extremely busy, we had wait for food only 10-15 minutes. The food was super tasty, big portions, even the kids menu portion was big. I've eaten Turkish cuisine quite a few times - in different countries (although not in Turkey, yet) - and I have to say the quality and the detail put into the dishes is truly superb. The meze was rich in flavours, particularly the bread which was very, very good. I had mucver, it was delicious, great portion as well. Our group had all enjoyed their meals and the desserts. Turkish coffee was really tasty too. But in my opinion, in a restaurant the atmosphere and the attentiveness of the front of house staff are equally important to the experience and that was delightful. The servers were so friendly and mindful, it was a pleasure dining in this restaurant. We hope to come back soon when we are in Peterborough again. We really appreciate everything! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Second visit, and once again the food was amazing! Very extensive menu. Delicious and cooked to perfection. Restaurant was incredibly busy, but the staff served us swiftly and efficiently. The only negative thing I can say is that it would be better if steak knives were provided rather than the standard ones. We fully intend to visit again to try another choice from the menu. Would 100% recommend!!

The most delicious Turkish food I have ever had! We had dinner last week and I have been left very impressed, therefore here I am leaving a great review for this amazing restaurant. Haven't been to the Turkish Kitchen since before lockdowns started and I had forgotten just how amazing the food is. Had the lamb ribs and chops. Literally melts in your mouth. The staff were all super friendly. One of the best meals I've had in Peterborough in a long time both for taste and ambience. 100% recommend and can't wait for an excuse to go back.

Surprised by their kebabs and drinks variety. Cool place to go and have a good time. The only thing I would not recommend is Falafel wrap, it was not the taste I would expect. Have tried many other restaurants and their falafel wraps were way better than turkish restaurant's.

Tonight was my first visit and I will definitely be back. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Absolutely superb, freindly staff and amazing food, we went on a Saturday we hadn't booked but they happily found us a table, it was late and we were just passing through Peterborough in the middle of a long journey, the place was buzzing large groups were having there party's and there was a constant stream of customers through the door. Checking out the other tables as we were seated everything looked so colourful and appetizing, after ordering it wasn't long till the food arrived which was surprising as the place was so busy, we ordered a share platter for three and it was amazing we ate the lot, every item was cooked to perfection and didn't all taste identical! Unfortunately it's an hour and a half journey to were we live but it's definitely going to stay on my places to eat list, I'm sure it won't be long before I make up a reason to return!

Highly recommended! I ordered a few starters and they where lovley! Presentation of the food was great. The customer service was friendly and professional. Absolutely amazing food and outstanding service. The lady who served us was very friendly and gave lots of attention to our little one which was sweet. The portions were very generous so we ended up taking some home. The mixed grill selection was incredible - all the meats were cooked to perfection. Warm restaurant, friendly staff, healthy food. And plenty of it! Free bread and dips before the starters, salad with everything, huge plates and no room for dessert! We parked for free on the other side of the Passport Office and cut through. And if I didn't say it before, the staff are lovely :)

Excellent food. Best grill platter i have had in UK. Good ambience. Personally i am picky on lamb but they served good quality meat and enjoyed every dish we ordered. Only downside was we had to wait for almost 1 hour even with a booking although we messed up slightly by booking for only 8 where 10 turned up. I think it was a super busy saturday and the service generally struggled a bit. I am still giving a 5 star for the yummy food. So best to make sure to have a booking for the right number and enjoy the food.. worth a visit.

This place was amazing! I came at lunchtime and everything on the lunch menu is £6.95 for everything on it, and it comes with rice or chips and a drink! Amazing value. I had the izgara kofte wrap, the lamb was so well cooked and had such good flavour. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dishes too. Not to mention, the bread and sauces they provide as a starter on the house were amazing.

I stumbled upon this restaurant after visiting the area. The staff were very accommodating for a Friday night and squeezed us in. This is Not Only The BEST Turkish restaurant, but also one of the best restaurants in general that I've had the pleasure of dining at. I travel the world for work and have eaten in some of the top michelin starred restaurants and this is truly up there at the top. As a party of 5 people, it was a VERY busy evening. Despite the tables being spaced apart, I was thinking that they were probably not adequately spaced, almost like a 'normal' evening with nothing going on. We waited some time before we were showed to a table; a waiter kept apologetically coming up & saying a few more minutes (& ending up much longer than the time specified). There was some confusion with the ordering & serving of some foods & drinks (e.g. only one serving of bread of the 2 ordered) that came with the starters but 2 further servings of bread followed after most of the starters had been eaten, 1 serving around 2 minutes before the starters were cleared away. The rest of the meal & drinks servings - as the restaurant became a bit quieter - were a little more prompt & correctly served, as well as generously portioned. All in all a slightly more disappointing visit to this restaurant, despite it being the favourite place to eat for one of our diners.

The food at Turkish kitchen was cooked perfectly, the meats were tender and moist! The cocktails were also very refreshing and nicely presented ( we opted for no alcohol). There were 4 of us and we ordered the Baba Ganoush starter. I haven't really been one for aubergines but this was actually delicious. And the jumbo platter for the main course which was sufficient for 4 people.

Great menu choice for vegetarians and the portion sizes were enormous and the price did not reflect that at all - excellent value for money. Most dishes have cheese with them and there is a LOT, so if you prefer only a little cheese make sure you tell the staff. Would definitely eat here again.

Came here for my birthday, hot meze sharer starter was lovely - cannot fault it. Main came to the table whilst still eating the starter.. once dropped off on the table we were never asked once how the food was. Both myself and my partner ordered yoghurt dishes which we now realise come with a lot of yoghurt. Too much for our tastes and extremely soggy. Bar maid was lovely and took on board our comments when paying, she spoke to a manager I'm assuming who looked at us rather unimpressed and she offered free drinks. We politely declined and asked to remove the service charge from the bill, the gent who did this again asked what we thought and we said the same and got "well thats what you ordered.." although true, the tone seemed unnecessary. Starter lovely, main disappointing and service not very impressed. Unlikely to return.

The food was cooked to perfection. We had halloumi starter which came with complimentary Turkish breads, hummus and sauces. Then we had the mixed platter which was huge with such a great variety of meats. The food tasted so fresh and the flavours were immense. One of the most delicious meals I’ve had in Peterborough!! The atmosphere was brilliant, the starters and main courses came in good time. We had halloumi to start with and chicken for mains. Had a work meal there last night. The food was out of this world. Every course was a variety of meat and fish dishes and the flavours were just a joy. The Calamari starter and the prawn starter, well, just bliss!! Probably one of the best restaurant meals in Peterborough that I have ever had. Liked the food and Service. Chicken was succulent and perfectly seasoned, the chicken platter had a variety of different meats combined with barley and rice. We've got a lovely salad on the side. Overall we were very satisfied after the meal. Unfortunately I was not happy about the ambience, restaurant looks lovely but the laud music completely ruined the atmosphere. Sorry but the restaurant is a place to spend a nice time with friends and talk, not nearly shout at each other like in the night club. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars.

However it was a very long wait for food between courses and getting drinks/condiments was an issue as the staff are just so busy. Note if you have food allergies best to ring ahead especially as some of the staff have limited English. Took my wife here for our 29th Anniversary. We did not book a table, but we were lucky, as we went early evening and only two of us. The food was really nice and plenty of it. It was phenomenal!!!! 🤤🤤🤤 the lamb was sooooo tender and exquisite, the chicken was so juicy, the pilau rice and barley rice it came with was so good, I've never had barley but it was so delicious. I can't even explain how yummy this place is😍😍😍!!! The meals also came with bread and dips (cool cucumber yoghurt type dip and salsa type dip). They were also 5* with customer service. I was waiting outside a long while to collect the food and it was quite cold and windy, they offered me and my family free drinks for the inconvenience of waiting which I thought was super sweet! I am so glad we ordered here, finally some amazing delicious, well cooked food in Peterborough 😍. I can't wait to dine in when it reopens!!! We had freshly home-baked bread which was delicious and still warm served with two delicious dips. We ordered four starters to share and two main courses, all the ingredients were fresh and the dishes were fantastic. There's so much on the menu, plenty of vegetarian options, fish and meat.
