c. S.Me and my partner came here a few weeks ago and were served mainly by Charlotte who's customer service was outstanding. We did a 2 hour brunch where we got unlimited cocktails and red stripe along with a main meal.
Personally the vegan burger bun was a little too toasted for me which gave it a funny flavour but apart from that, the food was good. Also, wow do you know how to cook plantain, it was the best plantain we have ever eaten from a restaurant.
We will be back! The food is incredible, customer service was incredible and the vibe and cleanliness of your restaurant was incredible.

M. v. R.The food was most excellent, staff excellent. We ordered a Rum and coke with “just any rum will do” but they wouldn’t have it. Gave us a lecture about different rums and guides us to each amazing stuff that opened our eyes. Great experience! Nice atmosphere and two-for-one drinks until 7 helped too! Writing this as we are here again on the day after. Round 2!
E. l.Overall it was a good experience. Atmosphere was good! Service was alright but with only two young women nearing the end of their shift, it was not surprising.
Drinks were good and the 2-4-1 deal was a fantastic.
Rating poorly for the food. The jerk wings were slimy and unsatisfying. The flavor was nice just a bit underdone. My biggest problem was the rice. Needed about 10 more minutes to cook.. left untouched.
Won’t recommend this place for the food but for a group, for drinks, it works.

G. W.Visited for Bottomless Brunch last Friday and wanted to say a big thanks to Freddie who made everything so easy! The drinks came quick and the food was delicious. We brought my sister who just turned 18 and was a bit nervous on her first night out but he made it super relaxed and gave her some great recommendations on cocktails as she struggles a bit with social anxiety.
I know it’s hard to get good waiting staff these days in hospitality so Turtle Bay need to give recognition to Freddie!

f.Very busy restaurant, recommend booking at weekends. We ate in the bar area, staff were friendly, food was tasty and cooked well.

We arrived at 7pm so it was after happy hour making it a little pricy at £9.20 a cocktail but still had 8 that were mostly nice. Seemed to be a glassware issue as drinks were served in wrong glasses. Good music, good vibes. Would visit again but only in happy hour and wouldn't use the toilets again!

I found he was very polite and professional and gave a good explanation of different foods and drinks which were on offer. D. R.Went for a work meal one Sunday evening. It was fairly quiet with a nice atmosphere. Prices for food were good and the food was lovely -something different- the cocktails (which let's be honest are the reason you go to turtle bay) were fantastic. I don't drink but I do when I'm there. My prawns unfortunately were not cleaned properly which was off-putting but the fries were fabulous. The jerk salmon was beautiful and I heard great things about the curry and ribs from my colleagues. Our food did come out all in the wrong order and some people were left waiting etc but with such a large table and a small kitchen it's understandable. Service was great and welcoming. Overall its a good evening out. Nice music, great flavours and stunning cocktails.

T. L.Amazing food, rums, and cocktails. Bit slow the evening we went (a Wednesday) as they seemed understaffed. The waitress, Charlotte, was apologetic though and did a good job despite being obviously busy. The coating on my Kingston Fried Chicken was excellent. A little spice from the scotch bonnets but subtle enough for all the flavours to come through.

K.Can't fault the place, staff were amazing and attentive even when they were busy the staff were just lovely and made sure our bottomless drinks were filled up. The food was so tasty had the vegan Buddha bowl which I had to pay a little bit more for but was full of flavour. The girls were so sweet and even let us have takeaway cups to make the most of the drinks on offer although I don't think we needed any more we definitely got our moneys worth.

However, the best part about my experience was an amazing Freddie. He hand picked all our cocktails and met the flavour expectations to the tee every single time. He knows the menu, the flavours, the banter and was simply a pleasure to be served by. Give this man a raise or a promotion! Its 5* exclusively for the experience he created for us. Thanks buddy.

They are quite attentive with their table service and happy to try take orders in between other orders eg not waiting for you to have food to ask if you want drinks. The staff are happy to have a casual chat when not busy. Their food and drink is always told quality for the price and very typical of all turtle bays. The 2 4 1 deal is worthwhile if you're looking to have a try of different cocktails on their menu whilst not breaking the bank if you arent a great fan of it. Keep in mind they can be quite busy since of such a deal being a great way to start a night out.

We were in Peterborough on a day out, and decided to try Caribbean food for tge first time. We were served by Emily, who helped us decide what food would be good for us, and I must say, it was delicious! Very tasty. The restaurant was very clean and well organised, and has a very Caribbean vibe, it also specialises in cocktails. We didn't have one so I can't comment on that, but lots of people were having them so you'd think they were good !
Only thing stopping me give 5 stars was the toilets weren't the best.

J. F.I ate at Turtle Bay during a lively Saturday night happy hour session and found the whole experience very enjoyable with some great food and cocktails. Highlights for me were the jerk sharing platter and Trini doubles for a starter and upside-down rum cake for dessert. Even thinking about these whilst writing this review is making me want to head back to the restaurant. For my main course I played it safe and chose the goat curry which was very good (and I'd be happy having it again) but not the best I've ever had. If you're tempted by the goat curry then definitely go for it, it's a delicious pot of curry, potatoes, and rice and peas.
Cocktails are 2-4-1 during the happy "hour" from 4-7pm so it can pay to get there early. The bar looked busy so I presume a lot of others had the same idea but as we were seated in the restaurant we had the benefit of table service and avoided any queues.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, being happy to talk through the menu and offer suggestions. As a fan of spicy food I was pleasantly surprised at the level of chilli used. I did find myself reaching for the chilli sauces on the table but even without those the dishes had a decent kick to them. If you're chilli-averse I would suggest speaking to your server to advise on safer dishes.
Despite my visit being a complementary review experience I felt the 5-star rating is very much deserved. Other than being physically transported to Jamaica there wasn't anything extra that could have made the meal any more enjoyable.

The food was quite authentic and tasty and was very hot with scotch bonnett pepper. 2-1 Cocktails before 7pm turned out to be good value for us and the waitress tipped us off shortly before happy hour was due to end so we could reorder . Every table was taken in the restaurant, the restaurant music was brilliant and the service was good. The restaurant catered well for my two little niece's with their little turtles menu and we had a lovely time out together as family . Highly recommended

Nothing wrong with them, just i do ribs at home. Goat curry for main. This was delicious, generous amount of tasty tender goat, no excess fat and not one piece of gristle. The rice was nice the flavour just right. It was really nice.

C.We arrived first time at Turtle Bay on a Monday and we got a nice table in the back. The young man who gave us a table was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious. My partner ordered the salmon and I had the Roti Roll. The sweet potato was delicious and crunchy! Unfortunately the service is very slow. It was not busy on a Monday and there were a few tables. It took us quite long to order drinks and food. The food came even later and the table next to us (who came much later) got their food so quick! Also a small note for the young guy. We saw you serving cocktails in your hands (4 glasses) to tables, where your fingers touching the drink glasses. It just doesn't look good. We would love to come back (especially for the sweet potatoes) and to try new cocktails. Friendly service and nice drinks. Lovely music and good vibe. Thanks.

The chicken Buddha bowl is amazing, the flavours just go so well together. My partner had a burger that was huge with jerk bacon. The cocktails are fantastic with a huge variety.
The only issue is every time we have gone here, the service hasn't been great. The first time we came here, it took 40 minutes to have our order taken, it then took a lot of offered to call someone over for drinks or to get the bill. Once we ordered, it took another 30 minutes to get our food but the couple sitting next to us who arrived 30 minutes after we did had got their food way before us. We were in there over 2 hours because it was really difficult to get someone's attention.
So the food and drinks are great but the service isn't fantastic.

Wonderfull drinks, really tasty food,all the atmosphere in there and all these offers! 👑 The staff in that place is the best one in the world ❤️👑🙌 all the time smiling, always up to have a conversation(if not busy of course) always helps you with great professional opinion if you can't decide about something or if you just have some questions ❤️ huge effort given from the Bay's manager Tibar🤘 always can jump in bar and make some cocktails to support his team 💯
All i could suggest to you is definitely visit this place! You will have a nice and relaxing time and some incredible and tasty drinks and food!

J. D.Food was incredibly tasty. Music & atmosphere is unique. Good value for money. Waitresses were very friendly and attentive. My only complaints would the sticky tables, they were wiped prior to us sitting down but this probably diluted rather than removed anything. Furthermore, I found the time it took for us to receive our orders dissatisfactory, drinks arrived within 5 minutes but food took in excess of 45 minutes, which is a tad too long for me - perhaps I was just hangry!
P.The food could've been better the starters were better than the mains and the drinks were really good though.

The food was delicious, great selection for Vegans and the happy hour drinks including the mocktails was perfect in this hot weather. We sat outside in the shade but the service was still really fast and friendly - some other places we’ve found the service is slower if you’re seated outside. There’s also boxes if you don’t finish your meal for you to enjoy at home, which I had to do since the portions were so generous. We’d definitely visit again.

J. S. (.Turtle bay never disappoints. I had an amazing meal here on Saturday for my daughters birthday. The staff were attentive, the female manager excellent. Liam on the bar recommended me gorgeous cocktails and told me a hilarious joke about a cat and a wardrobe! If you want great food and great fun, this is the place to go! 5 stars! You have to try the curry goat and garlic and chilli prawns!

Just been back months later. Still excellent. The food was amazing, and the staff were wonderful. There were a couple of issues with products unavailable and so on, but both the waitress and manager were wonderful. Can't recommend this place enough, especially the rum cocktails

J. V.Lovely place and lovely feel to it. Staff was very nice and very friendly to talk to. They provided a kids menu and colouring book to both colour in. Food was gorgeous. We left full and refreshed. There is an order seating area and accessible for wheelchairs. Parking is a little distance away so park early. If you have booked a table and arrive early staff welcome you to have a drink at the bar first. Please wait at the door to be seated as there are tables reserved so you can't just sit wherever.

The drinks menu is especially good with a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Service was fast and the staff were lovely.

L. R.Second experience to turtle bay and have to say........we love it. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the drinks were lovely and the food was amazing. Very well priced to top it off. We had the half jerk chicken, trinni curry chicken, jerk fries, jerk halloumi, bottle of cider and a pink lemonade. Absolutely stuffed and could not fault a single thing. Well done guys.

D.My partner and I popped into Turtle Bay for lunch today, upon arrival we were told there would be a 20 minute wait for a table which seemed a little strange as there appeared to be plenty of empty tables. After a wait of 25minutes (still not sure why) we were seated , a further 10minutes went by before I called a waitress to ask if our order could be taken , she was not able to take our order but quickly sent another waitress who was polite and efficient . The food arrived and was as good as any other Turtle BAY I have eaten in , no complaints. As we waited for our food it became apparent why we had waited so long to be seated, food critics had arrived an needed to be traded like royalty WHY ?. Great place , lovely food but disappointed with the service.

J. A.Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Adult meal was lovely the kids meals weren't great (burger was cooked med-rare, no bbq sauce with the ribs, no humus and veg sticks starter as stated on the menu) it was very very busy through. I would visit again but not with kids.

R.Love this place. We have three in Manchester and the Peterborough branch is just as good. I like the really relaxed attitude to the service you get that makes you feel welcome and drop your shoulders. The food is spot on every time and there is nothing on the menu that isn't great food!
