Purchased chips with haddock & chips with battered burgers. Food was freshly cooked as we waited. Coming from a coastal town we are used to how fish and chips should be. These were excellent! the only fault being could of done with a few more chips in the portions. Apart from that will visit again when in the area. If you fancy some chips with fish or burgers then you need to visit here. Well done Woodston Chippy.

Forgot how good this chip shop is. Stopped going before lockdown as they was closed for quite awhile but really fancied fish & chips so as now in lockdown & chippy back open I thought im going to treat myself now kids back at school. Still as good now, if npt better than last had them. The bit of plaice was big, chips cooked perfect, crispy, AND tasted the best for a chip shop chip. Curry sauce also amazing, that curry sauce put me into labour 8 years ago, lol. I highly reccommend this place, i wld even travel abit just to get these. When you go to a food place & there is customers constantly walking in & out its a fantastic chippy.

The best fish n chip shop in the area. I haven't tried every chippy in Peterborough but I travel here from Orton Malborne instead of a short walk round the corner to my local one. Fish n chips here is just perfect nice fresh fish and the batter is done to perfection and I am very fussy about the batter. The chips are just how I like them nice and soft not dry and hard like some places I have been to. Very friendly staff. The only bad point I got to say about this place is when its shut on Mondays and Sundays. Once or twice wanting fish n chips on a Monday and having to go to another chippy that is not as good a standard as the Woodston Chippy.

Woodston Chippy is a traditional Fish and Chip shop, located just off the Peterborough city center and on the number one bus route to Orton, they cook fresh fish to order, so it is worth phoning ahead of your visit to save waiting. the fish portions are very good while the chips seem to be a little on the small portion side, a small portion of chips is approximately 25 chips if you count them. friendly staff and very clean premises. on a scale of 1 to 10 I would say about a 7, this is due to small chip portions and also the location means that parking is restricted at busy times. food is cooked to perfection.
