What a nice place I want to highlight above all the quality of the food, one can appreciate the excellent quality of the products used. The service is very good, the waiters are very caring. The atmosphere is like a museum with many paintings, but all in harmony. It was our first visit and we loved it. We ordered the vegan cheese burger and the dirty chicken burger, for starters we had some arancinis. All very good. We will be back

I like the Cost Club, the menu is varied enough for everyone to find something they enjoy and it's a very nice atmosphere. The food was as usual great, staff were friendly and helpful but only two of them on the floor for the whole restaurant meant a bit of a wait between courses and for drinks.

We arrived at 9:40, 20 minutes before the kitchen due to shut. We were pleasantly greeted in a lovely atmosphere by smiles, seated promptly and introduced to the restaurant. Tim, whom served us throughout our meal, was beyond excellent and his attitude is top notch. My partner and I were given plenty of time to decide on our orders and Tim poured complimentary waters, whilst taking our orders. I went for the beef burger, with the advised additional cheddar, bacon and side of onion rings served with fries and coleslaw. I was surprised by the quality and flavour, extremely impressed. My partner went for the crispy duck salad, and was quite confident in saying it was the best duck she's had ever, excellent sauce. (And she eats alot of duck 🤣 freakkkk) and she loved all of it, she finished it all including a side of fries, was quite impressive compared to her normal intake. She must really have enjoyed it. Super happy with everything involved in our meal this evening, from the exquisite service from Tim and the very polite Jay who brought our check and cleared our table. Excellent staff, great food. Lovely drinks. Will be recommending to friends and family, thoroughly impressed 👌 Tim was excellent. Very grateful for all the service we received.

Amazing restaurant. Amazing food and amazing staff. I would 100% recommend. I had the small dish of the Harissa lamb shoulder and my friend had the small Asian fried chicken and both were impeccable.

Fantastic! Service was incredible, food was delicious and cocktails were lovey! Love the decor as well, very warm and cosy. Everyone that worked there were so friendly, attentive and had a sense of humour instead of the plain dull service you get most places. Would definitely recommend and plan on coming back.

Absolutely brilliant date night.. We decided to go here when wondering around trying to decide where to have our date night.. Looked pretty busy but was able to get a table for 2.we had every intention of having dinner and a drink then continuing with drinks elsewhere afterwards, but we actually ended up spending the evening there.. It was busy with a lively atmosphere and the waiters took a little time due to how busy it was... But it was a busy Friday evening.. The staff were so friendly, the food was absolutely amazing... We booked a family meal here for 11 of us following a family member graduating. The service was fab, all the drinks and food came out at the right time where no one was left waiting! We have a few fussy family members with food taste , but nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our food requests. I had the veggie Tarte which was delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed thier food and the ambience! We even got a free bottle of prosecco when the staff found out we were celebrating a graduation, which was a really lovely touch! I love the decor in here it's bang on trend! It was incredibly busy the night we went but the staff were still so attentive to our party. Parking is really close by as you can park in the barcode and it is dog friendly (although we didn't take our pup this time). I highly recommend trying the pink lemonade on the mocktail menu it's so refreshing. This is my second visit here on the last month and both times it hasn't dissappointed! It's definitely somewhere I would recommend wether you're in a large group or just a couple of you!

Absolutely incredible lunch! Despite the wait as they were so busy (which is a good thing!) our food still arrived hot, beautifully presented and very well cooked. Kharis was a fantastic waitress and looked after us very well. Nothing was too much trouble, she had humour, charm and friendliness and thought of everything to make our lunch a special one. We would definitely return to try more tasty food!

Nice place, warm and comfortable, but that really is all I can say positively about Cosy Club. We stood for some time waiting to be greeted, despite there being a couple of people at the desk, and were eventually asked our details by one of the lovely serving team. Our table was nicely located, everything on it was clean and well presented. It was quite busy when we took our seats, but I think a 20 minute wait for 3 drinks is a bit of a stretch. When the food arrived, the vegan risotto we ordered was non-vegan and we asked for an exchange. The bowl was literally snatched away by the (I'm guessing) duty manager and replaced with the tiniest amount of risotto imaginable. I queried this and was told (by the same manager) that it was a standard serving size - fair enough, but don't advertise it as a main and charge £12 for it. We left as soon as we'd eaten, all still hungry, feeling underwhelmed and overcharged.

Had our Xmas lunch here yesterday. You could tell the staff were busy but they still were so friendly and professional. Lovely food and atmosphere and fantastic staff! The drinks were beautifully served, even a soft drink was delivered with style. Will defo come again!

Was Halloween and I dined alone, I could not fault anything, from the 40 seconds I waited at the lectern to be seated, honestly everything was perfect. Music, the staff's fancy dress was perfect for the setting, burger was juicy, the onion ring batter was perfect and the posset was spot on. No joke it actually lifted my mood for the night!

We have been in the Exeter and Bristol Cosy Clubs and they are both in magnificent buildings. So, what would this one be like , out of character, in a square boring new building in the Bar code! Well, we needn't have worried !! As soon as you walk in, you step into the same world as the Bristol club. Amazing decor, bright and gawdy colours all perfectly in symmetry. Good music, wonderful service and the staff make the effort to dress up, which adds to the atmosphere. We are not great fans of the food in Cosy clubs, it's mainly burgers, fries and no gluten free or healthy options. And its relatively expensive. But, it is was it is, and it's well presented and most punters love it. The drinks and cocktails ( although not an extensive choice ) are good although again expensive with no 241 offers. Social distancing started well but as per usual as the evening wears on the groups, men in particular, tended to lapse into hugs and close contact. Overall, well done Cosy club, we had a thoroughly wonderful evening......

The atmosphere was great , we went in approx 5pm as a group of four , once we where seated water was offered but all of the glass on the table where dirty admittedly these where streak marks from the dishwasher but still a wipe over when setting a table would of been better . The waitress did change all of our glass . Starters where really nice but the mains where over cooked or had been left under the heat lamps to long on the pass , my shoulder of lamb dish was very dry and the butter milk chicken was way over done ,dry and very crunchy . Which is a shame as the place was a nice experience ,other than the food , the sea bass in noodles was ok but a little to spicy taking the taste of the bass away , we did talk to the waitress about the meal and as she explained there just isn’t enough staff to be as attentive to all customers again is a shame as the price in todays climate you’d want a better meal . Like most vote with my feet and not return again .

Food was off very high quality, very delicious especially the bang bang cauliflower, but I must say the portions were inadequate and could have been a smig on the larger side for the price , and we waited longer than expected to recieve the bill to leave the restaurant . Good location, great vegan menu (best vegan fish I've ever had), excellent decor and food presentation, but all let down by a very long food wait time - something which I overheard a neaby table talking about too. I waited 50 minutes for 2 mains - fix this and I think I'll have a new favourite pub in Plymouth.

as the name implies it was very cosy had a milkshake when I went there and it was delicious. the atmosphere of this place was pretty cool though with the paintings and other art around.A small bit of advice though for the tall people be careful going up the stairs there is a low but that is easy to bang your head on they are pretty camouflaged.

Second time I have been to this restaurant now with my future wife and have never been disappointed. Excellent food and excellent service as always. I particularly want to mention your new waitress Abby who served us. Would never have guessed it was her first day, incredible service, incredible smile and a wonderful girl. Her recommendation of the Dolphin potatoes ( only way I could pronounce them ) was spot on. Will be back again and again.

The food was absolutely delicious and very accommodating to vegan and non-vegan alike. The drinks menu was varied with something for everyone at the table. The inclusion of mocktails within the happy hour 2 for 1 means that, even those who do not drink, can be involved. The presence of vegan cheese cake on the menu was a delight as a good vegan cheese cake is hard to come by. My one complaint is that the music, while enjoyable, was at points so loud that it prohibited conversation. Were the volume of the music to be lowered the overall enjoyment of the experience would be greatly increased. Despite this the lighting arrangements and the Art Deco, nostalgic decor created a very pleasant atmosphere.

Liked this place, can get very busy in the evening. Staff were excellent and very attentive. I had a vegan asparagus starter and it was delicious. Main course was steak, very tasty and cooked to order correctly. Facilities were very clean and tidy, prices were reasonable for what you get. Good atmosphere. Popped there for a mid morning breakfast... What a stunning place, the decor is amazing and quirky you'll never get bored as there is so much to look at! The morning menu was great covering all areas, I can recommend the smashed avo on sourdough, plus the coffee was superb ( coming from a very fussy coffee drinker). The staff were great, we were looked after by two gentleman one being the manager, who was very friendly and didn't mind having a good chat with the customers :) We've already announced well be back to experience the dinner menus and evening vibes, amazing place and great asset for Plymouth to have!

Myself and my friend visited the Cosy Club for a girls night last week. I am fussy when it comes to trying new things. Heather was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much for her and she was happy to answer all our questions about the menu. We ended up trying the fried courgette as a starter, which I would never have picked if it had not been recommend. It was delicious. For mains I had the salmon fish cakes with garlic potatoes and broccoli. All watered down with a glass of rosé. We love the ambiance that Cosy Club offers. We came back in last night for drinks and were delighted to find that the bartender was Heather. She took the time to stop and ask us how we were. We wanted something a bit different to what was on the cocktail menu. Again, she went out her way to make us something special. She is an absolute credit to your team. We’ll be back again soon for more delicious food and fantastic service!

My husband & I visited last night on the off chance we would be able to get a table. This was our first visit and certainly won’t be our last, the service from start to end was fabulous and we were very lucky to have Christina looking after us. She was professional and knowledgeable regarding the menu & our choices but also so much fun! With a chicken burger, vegetable tart and sharing bread demolished we decided to finish with a lemon posset. My biggest mistake was asking for two spoons, because after my first taste I didn’t want to share, it was delicious! Christina has agreed on our next visit if I ask for two spoons, she will bring a fork instead for my husband......with one prong 😂 Thanks for looking after us Christina you were fab

Cosy Club is a nice enough place, the decor is pleasing to the eye and the atmosphere is enjoyable to be in. However, the food lets it down. I had the fishcakes and they felt like a Tesco Finest product rather than a restaurant dish. While the glassware was nice to hold the lemonade tankard (?) was iced, making it drip all over me. The double espresso was also served in a cup that was way too big. Nice atmosphere, mediocre food, great service.

I've been to the Cosy Club in Bath and was not disappointed so I was ever so excited to go to the Plymouth branch. Initially we were not happy with our main course. As the most expensive dish on the menu, 'Lamb Shoulder', we did not expect an over-cooked, black, burnt/crispy pile of what looked like pulled pork but supposedly Lamb served to us. It wasn't even tender. More pitta bread and tatziki than there was meat on the plate. We were not happy at all and felt that it was misleading. If on the menu it had said 'pulled crispy lamb accompanied by..' ect we would have understood, but we felt for approx £14.50 a dish like that was described as lamb shoulder was VERY naughty. However the service was fantastic. We aren't complainers at all but we had pre booked this meal and were so excited to come here, so we expressed our concerns about this lamb dish that was given to us. The waitress we had was fantastic and we were able to have different dishes at no extra cost. I had the sea bass and my partner had the risotto. Amazing dishes, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. I don't believe its ruined my experience of Cosy Club, but we will be avoiding the 'Lamb Shoulder' main course next time

We went in for breakfast yesterday and it was the best breakfast we have had in along time. It was 2 adults, a teenager and 4yr old. We had the cosy eggs, butchers brunch, traditional breakfast and kids pancakes (I use the the words kids lightly). The cooked breakfast were amazing quality I even stole one of my son's rosti's which I am guessing are handmade if not wow. My eggs Benedict were yummy the eggs poached properly. My daughter's pancakes were huge and we honestly thought there was no chance she would finish them and we were so wrong. She had a little help from the 3 of us but we were so impressed. I had the fresh squeezed orange juice and I was so pleased it was actually fresh and not out of a carton .we will be back for breakfast and will even be trying an evening meal at some point. Keep up the good work.

It's OK, chainy, but OK. The cocktails aren't the best, but they are OK too (if you don't get to have good ones to compare them with very often). But ... actually it was quite fun. Perhaps because we were told that there was no food if you hadn't booked, and a wait for drinks because they were 'short staffed', which was amusing mostly because the (very pleasant) young lady telling us this was not the tallest person ... and her colleague was equally untall. So, they were ... quite shirt staffed indeed 😀

Upon entry you're immediately greeted with with the bars unique red wood and upmarket feel with walls adorned with mock aristocratic paintings and decor that rivals any other upmarket venue. The food is great and the drinks even better, you have to try their Mojito!! Will be visiting again soon.

We went there today for the first time. Looks so welcoming except for the cheap looking flooring. The front of house was very efficient. Our waitress was Charming but slow and forgot us. I had to ask for our drinks 45 minutes in, after 1hour I had to ask at the bar for our meals, they had again forgotten us. The apology was accepted, food was good so hopefully the service will get better, or they will not get more trained staff.

Had a wonderful night! Such an amazing place. Never wrote a review before but had to after the way we were looked after. We were over from Ireland and stumbled across the place. Apparently it had only just opened, but the staff are incredible. Especially when it was so busy, but nothing was too much trouble. We were looked after by an Irish girl called Christina who could see we were a little lost! Well no fear. Talk about making you feel at home and ease! She guided us through the menu and quickly worked out my husband's simple tastes. Food was incredible and we even sampled some cocktails. All in all a great evening. I really enjoy Cosy Club, its the kind of place I take my mom for a breakfast date. The food is divine, the service is of high standard and the overall atmosphere is exciting. It’s very instagramable, haha. They have a great menu, including decent vegetarian and vegan options. They have great Bloody Mary’s and more importantly the cocktail bartenders know what they are doing. It is literally the worst when you get given a duff Bloody Mary from a bartender with no idea. But Cosy Club show off the art and science of cocktailing well. They also have NHS discount which is awesome 👏 😎

We went to Cosy Club yesterday and had a really nice time. It was empty - which is great under the current circumstances! The food was also delicious. Two issues though. Despite the place being empty the table we were taken to was dirty... which admittedly the host did spot and fix but still under the current circumstances, concerning. Similarly the mens toilets didn't look like they were being regularly cleaned. Other toilets we went to yesterday were hospital levels of cleanliness. Portions were also kinda small, a bit disappointing seeing as it's one of the more expensive places to eat. Staff were great though must be said!

We will be back but hopefully some “sound advice“ can be looked at.

Went with my parents for a meal on Thursday evening, booked table online which was super easy. Table wasn't ready when we go there but that was not an issue, we just sat in the bar for 10 mins, got seated and given menus and then 10 minutes later the waitress came over to take our order and then informed us that multiple things were not available. This was a little frustrating as we could of been told when waiting for our table but anyway we ordered and the burgers we had were amazing! Very large portions so keep that in mind. I probably wouldn't be likely to visit during weekends as service was slow even when there was hardly anyone in the restaurant area. All staff were very friendly and had smiles on there faces. Just minor teething problems that need to be bought up!

I've only visited this place once, on my daughter's birthday, but the service was good. Very friendly staff and good food, although a little pricey. However what really stood out for me was the gluten-free menu. My daughter is allergic to wheat and the majority of places we visit, although claiming to cater for coeliacs, only have an extremely limited choice. The cosy club however has a full gluten-free menu, it was so nice for my daughter to have as much to choose from as the rest of us, i cannot overstate how happy that made her. The food was tasty, really tasty which is why it is so frustrating that it took so long for us to be served and so many mistakes took place by front of house with no attempt to make up for it. I have been in catering for 11 years from pot wash to sous chef, what I saw here was disgraceful. When confronted, the manager stated he'd been thrown under the bus by the company with a large party ( some sort of booking error) and he gave a sad story about how he was stressed, totally unprofessional. Won't be visiting the Plymouth branch anytime in the near future.
