Whilst in the shop I read an open letter from the shop apologising for raising their prices. I know everywhere is increasing in living and running costs, but I have to say £3.60 for a regular cheesy chips is still very good value for money. They’re brilliant staff, tasty chips and perfect size portions. Not huge so you waste them, but generous enough. Highly recommended

Love this chippy and it’s just down the road from us. The chips are soo tasty and proper fish shop chips that stick to the paper! The battered sausage has such a crispy light batter. I don’t normally like curry sauce but I tried my partners as he said it tasted so good and it was! It’s like a curry gravy! Definitely recommend this place.

My cod was over cooked, dry, as thin as a flip flop that had more batter than actual fish, I don't know how you can justify charging people for it. I would give 1 star for the quality of the fish but the chips and battered sausage were nice.

We have started to use this chip shop once a week rather than our normal one..My partner doesn’t usually eat much batter but the batter is so light here he eats the lot..The food is lovely and I highly recommend

Food is great, when the younger girls are working the portion sizes are alot smaller and they tip themselfs when paying with card without asking like the others ladies do. Great curry sauce. Might just pop down there now

Visited twice now to grab a quick supper. Wonderful service from the lovely ladies serving and cooking. The shop itself is clean, bright and welcoming and the food is amazing with 'proper chippy' chips and not greasy. If you're looking for fish and chips that won't disappoint, TRY THIS PLACE!

Warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. The food is also amazing absolutely love the fact they use (what I can only assume is) freshly cut chips as you can taste the difference from frozen ones. Think it'll become a regular if it keeps being as good as it has been.

Probably one of, if nit the best fish and chips I've had. The battered cod is great and the portion sizes are perfect for me, but could be small for others Definitely has the best curry sauce I've had from any takeaway.

We went on opening day and weren't massively impressed, it was expensive and portions were quite small. Decided to give them another go and shocked how much better it is, kids potions were huge and the battered jumbo sausage is great Much much better 👍👍👍👍👍

Been here twice this month and so far I've only got good things to say about this place, the staff are friendly, the food is great and they are quick to answer any questions about allergies etc. My partner is dairy intolerant so finding a place like this which are allergy friendly is rare and amazing. Quickly becoming my favourite local takeaway.
