This cafe is such a lovely welcoming place. The prices are very reasonable as the portions are quite generous. Have to say I've only ever had their breakfast and gone back later the same day for coffee (due to the atmosphere of the cafe as well as the value) One of my favourite cafes in Plymouth.

We called in here in the afternoon. Great to get served tea in a pot mug rather than the paper ones that many cafes now use. The staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the decor. The cafe was very clean.

Discovered this little gem, could easily be missed due to the franchise coffee outlets either side of it. I ate in early on a Wednesday evening. Was the only person in there. Ordered Classic Roast Hog, pulled pork and apple sauce in a very large bun, sweet potato fries that were cooked just right ( not many places manage that) and the jalapenos poppers. These unfortunately popped all over my clothes when bitten into so will be cutting them next time. My only other observation was that the portions were too big, the hog bun and fries went cold before I could finish them so I wasted nearly half of my meal. The place was clean and tidy and staff pleasant.

Wifey spotted this place. Bar staff was extremely polite and friendly. There was only one lady by the bar and one person in the kitchen but no delays and before we knew we had our order on the table. Great burgers selection, reasonable prices, quick and polite service. 7 guys ordered before us and we still didn't wait longer than 20 min. As far as cocktails go - two mojito's for £7 but they weren't as nice as food. Overall great place for food, nice atmosphere.

My favorite place to eat lunch ,lovely polite staff,there food is always perfection and very generous portions too.They also sell alcohol if you prefer just a drink and chat.They serve great coffee too.Its lovely relaxed atmosphere.They let you take your time they never give the impression they are hurrying you away for the next customer. I was very impressed by the burger from this place, I had the house burger with a pint of lager and it was really nice. I like the fact that they cook it fresh for you when you order so even though it means it might take a little bit longer than fast food places like MaccyD, it's definitely fresh and having a pint helps! It's got a lovely outdoor space where you can sit with friends and eat your food or drink your drink, beware of seagulls though! They are vicious in this area and are willing to dive bomb you to steal your toast! The waiting staff were really friendly and working very hard to make sure everyone was sorted ok and that all the food was cleared off the table after people leave so they were not raided by the seagulls Definitely going to use this place as a lunch stop when I'm in Plymouth town centre again

Really great breakfast, I've eaten in almost every place in Plymouth City Center that serves an English breakfast over the years and this is one of the best. It was only £7 for the breakfast plus £1.50 for a drink which in my opinion was great value as the the sausages were really nice, as was the bacon and it's hard to fund a decent hash brown but these ones were up to scratch. The only fault, if you wanna call it that was that the beans were cold, not an issue as I obviously still ate them, but that's the only thing I'd say, probably an oversight as it was so busy there today. We did end up with a portion of chips for free as they brought them to the wrong table, I did tell them but they said to have them anyway. We'll definitely be back, just a shame it's taken me this long to go in the place as I walk past it most days. Would definitely recommend the breakfast here (they sell other food too but can't comment as not tried it, yet!) The staff were super friendly too which is a plus.

Laid back, nice atmosphere, very cheap prices for food and drink. Good large sized portions for food and quick service time. We had the vegetarian bap and the hunters chicken and could recommend both. My mum said the wine was nice too! We sat inside but there was a lot of outside seating out the front as well. Would recommend a visit if fancy a drink or/and food.

Excellent cafe and bar serving high quality food in a very central location. I'd recommend getting here early if you want a full English breakfast as the kitchen is relatively small and large groups often arrive after 10am. While it doesn't look like it from the outside this place also has a large upstairs seating area with extra bar as well, good toilets, great staff. Recommended.

Visited today for lunch like I always do, the staff here are wonderful and can't do enough for you today I was served by a young man called Ross. This young man was so polite and help full I felt that he needed to be mentioned, as a by myself I don't ever feel that I'm on my own and that's due to the staff being so lovely. 😊

The restraunt was clean and spacious with more seating available upstairs. Has a pool table in the upstairs. The toilets were clean and tidy Have eaten here a few times and it never disappoints.

I first ate here after lockdown 1. I took advantage of the eat out scheme and enjoyed many discounted meals here. Now I keep going back. Even at full price the meals here keep me coming back. You get your money's worth. The food is delicious and portions generous. The staff are friendly and it's covid safe. My reason for the 4* review is because the upstairs needs a deep clean and redecorating. Otherwise I like this pub. I'd recommend eating and drinking here.

Difficult not to give this 5 stars. Good location with indoor and outdoor seating. Fast friendly service and a very reasonable breakfast for under a fiver including tea or coffee. Huge menu to choose from. On a nice sunny day with the whole frontage open, you can relax in the comfy sofas and watch the world go by, or read my book "Professor Harry Parker and the Tunnels of Argonaut Bay" by Steve Pick, available on Amazon Kindle!

Would like to come into the restaurant for the food in the future! Expected better when paying £20 for food.

Great little diner, relaxed atmosphere has a American diner mixed with recycled warehouse style. Food is fantastic generous portions all freshly prepared and cooked. Love meat, love pulled pork, love pulled beef, love chicken then your in heaven! Give it a go, you won't regret it.

A cafe with a difference. You could be in Newyork when you step inside this café with corrugated iron on the walls and graffiti art sprayed onto it, no frills here but comfortable and clean. There is a function room upstairs with pool and table tennis tables (great for keeping the kids occupied!)Fantastic food at a reasonable price and lots to choose from. Service was excellent too. It would be easy to overlook The Greedy Pig, as is sandwiched between two franchise Coffee shops.... But as soon as you walk in you know you discovered somewhere different. This is an independent restaurant, and it shows. Cheerful staff, quirky unique decor, with plenty of seating inside or out. A menu that will have you salivating just reading it and the quality of the food was above and beyond what I have come to expect from Plymouth city centre.

Whether you want a full blown meal or a small bite to eat The Pig has it covered. Hot drinks, cold drinks, alcohol , milkshakes all under one roof. Ample seating inside and out with toilets situated upstairs with a disabled toilet downstairs. The upstairs is open all day aswell with a pool table for everyones use aswell as being able to eat and drink upstairs too. Also this floor of The Pig is available to hire for parties, functions with two fully licensed bars on the premises you can't go wrong. Friendly staff always willing yo bring your order to your table. Music playing quietly in the background is great with a TV on showing the news with subtitles so you can keep up to date with the days news as it happens. A lovely place , friendly and warming. Definitely recommend you to pop in.
